Obituaries for Wednesday, July 31, three announcements from Perry Spencer Funeral Homes. Joe Martin's senior, 86 of Stonewall, died July 30. Arrangements are incomplete in Madison. The family of Percy Gravelie will receive friends today at 1230 in Eden, with services at 1, internment in Hamlin Cemetery. Public viewing for Sally Ruth Webster Lowe is Saturday, 1-730 in Madison. The family will receive friends Sunday at 1 at New Light Refuge Temple, with a celebration of life at 2, internment in Woodland Cemetery. Memorial services for Brian Scott Hall are tomorrow at 6 at Redemption Road Baptist Church in Reedswell. Boone & Cook Funeral Home is serving the family. Three announcements from Fair Funeral Home. Grayside services for Mary Bremmer Hankins are tomorrow at noon at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation at 11. Connie Callahan Light, 93, died July 29. Funeral services are Friday at 2, with visitation at 1 at Osburn Baptist Church. She was born in Woolwine, Virginia, was a graduate of Woolrine High School, later attended Radford College and worked as a supervisor at Dupont Nylon Plant. She was a substitute teacher in Eden, since his taker in Rockingham County, and member of the Rockingham Home Extension Club, surviving our daughter Marlene Callahan Smith and David of Richmond, son Robert Callahan of Reedswell, daughters Beth Connor Callahan of Cornelius, Victoria Light Cates of Eden, five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Also sister Judy Potter and Perry of Bassett, P. Aubrey Bud Connor of Christiansburg, Kenneth M. Connor, and Martha Jane of Radford. Also, she was preceded in death by husband Jack Light. Special thank you to Emily Floyd and all of her caregivers. Nelly Josephine Thacker Hefinger, 87, died July 29. Private burial was held yesterday at Mountain View Cemetery. She was born in Martinsville, her husband of 54 years, William H. Hefinger preceded her in death. She was a 1956 graduate of Dury Mason High School, worked at Karistan in Eden before becoming a full-time homemaker and mother, surviving our daughter Debbie Hefinger Murdoch and Wayne, and one grandchild. The family thanks all of the nurses, doctors, especially Dr. Vendura, nursing staff, and special friends, Missy Marshall, Donna Weeks, and Amy Erskine for their support. [BLANK_AUDIO]
