Speak to them through the Word of God. Lord Jesus, you said man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. I have you away this moment and speak to us. Make it so simple that even a child could understand what the Holy Ghost has said to the church. In Jesus' name we pray. Somebody say amen, glory to God. So glad to be back with you. As we continue this series, you are never alone. You are never alone. And on this morning I want to talk about desperate prayers. Have you ever had to pray desperate prayers, desperate prayers normally take place in our lives when our back is against the wall, and we don't know which way to turn and it looks like we about to go under. That's when we prayed desperate prayers like the Apostle Peter, who began to sink when he took his eyes of Jesus. Peter knew he was in trouble. He said, "Lord help, just two words." That was a desperate cry for help. That was a desperate prayer. Amen. And in the Scriptures, in the Book of 2 Chronicles chapter 20, Jehoshosified found himself in a serious predicament. He was surrounded by hostile nations who wanted to eliminate and annihilate them. And I want to take you into this passage of Scripture 2 Chronicles 20, 1 through 13 as we talk about desperate prayers. Verse 1 says, "It came to pass after this also that the children of Moab and the children of Ammon and with them other beside the Ammonites came against Jehoshosified the battle. They came against him." You know, Ephesians 6, 10 through 12 says, "Be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against." You notice that against, against, against, against the rulers of the doctrines of this world, therefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand. And having done all the stand, stand therefore, having your loins gird about with truth, the breastplate of righteousness, feet shot with the preparation of the gospel of peace. You listen unto me, the shield of faith, where you shall be able to quench all the fiery dots of the enemy, the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, and praying all which, and all prance application in the Spirit, against, against, against. They came against Jehoshosified the battle. No doubt they were influenced by Satan himself, because Jesus Christ the Son of God, the Messiah, the Savior of the world, the King of the Jews, he would come through the lineage of Jehoshosified. This was not just any ordinary move. This was a satanic diabolical move, driven by the devil himself, because he wanted to stop the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. And Jesus would come through Jehoshosified. Anytime God is about to work through your life concerning the Lord Jesus, the enemy is going to come against it to try shut it down, but no weapon formed against you will be able to prosper. So the Bible says, these nations, they came and they surrounded Jehoshosified to battle, they challenged him, they wanted to wipe him out, but they were driven by Satan. This battle that you are facing is not natural. We get caught up in the natural and the Holy Ghost after realign us and help us to gain our refocus and look beyond the natural and realize, wait a minute, we are not wrestling flesh and blood. This is satanic, this is demonic, but the Bible says Jesus said, the thief comes to steal, he comes to kill, he comes to destroy, but Jesus said, I've come the dick and I've life and I've been more abundantly. Look at verse two, then there came some that told Jehoshosified saying, "There cometh a great multitude against thee from beyond the sea, on this side, Syria, and behold, they be in hazes on tomorrow, which is in get eye." And Jehoshosified fed, you notice people, it's bad news, they're not trying to tell you, they're just bringing your reality of the situation. And Jehoshosified fed, he was afraid, and set himself to seek the Lord and proclaimed a fire throughout all Judah. You see, when fair takes a hold of you, you can do something about it. You can let fair ravage you and suck the life out of you and do nothing about it and just whine and have a pity party on why all of this is happening to you. I feel like I'm talking to somebody right there. Some of you in pity party mode, let me tell you something, your pity party ain't going to change a thing. You got to do something about that fair. You know, the Bible says, I believe in Second Timothy 1-7, "For God have not given us the spirit of fair, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." You got to do something about that fair. He was afraid, but he was afraid, he fared, but he didn't start there. What did he do? He set himself to seek the Lord and he proclaimed a fire. Jesus said some of this, "This kind can only come out by prayer and fasting." There's some things that's not going to move until you turn up your plate upside down and press in and fast and seek the face of God. It's just obedience. He said, "This kind can only come up by prayer and fasting. Lord help us Jesus." Watch this. So he proclaimed a fast throughout the whole land and drew together themselves together to ask help of the Lord. That's it. You got to fast and pray and ask God to help you. Don't just sit there and allow yourself to be sucked under with that problem and that trial that's coming against you. You got to fast. You got to make time for God. You got to set that time to seek His face. Are you hearing me? Even out of all the cities of Judah, they came to seek the Lord. They realized only God can get us out of this mess. It's going to take a miracle only God can get us out of this mess. Have you ever been there? Some of you are there right now. Your back is against the wall. It looks bleak. It looks real bad. But I'm telling you, your faith in God can change a desperate prayers, can change that situation. And Jehul Zavat stood in the congregation of Judah and Jerusalem in the house of the Lord before the new cart and said, "Watch this man. He is beginning to pour us out of it. O Lord God of our fathers, art not doubt God in heaven and rule us not thou over all the kingdoms of the heathen and in your hand is there not power and might so that none is able to stand against you. God none, none, none, none, none, none can stand against you. We need your help, God. We need you to step in. We need you to do something in the name of Jesus, God. Stand this tide that's coming against us. Stop this assault that's on us, God. It's on our family. It's on our financials, on our health, on our ministry, on our business, on our relationships, on our marriage. Stop it, God. Help this, God, I need your help. I need you to step in. If you don't step in, we go in under. Jehul Zavat said, "God, in your hand is there not power and might show that none is able to withstand you." We need you, God, to step in. We have no place to go. We have nobody to run to, but you. We need your help, God. Thank you, Jesus. Not thou our God, who did his travel, the inhabitants of this land before that people Israel, and gave us it to the seat of Abraham, their friend, forever, God, you gave this to us. And they dwelled there in a built-the-a sanctuary there and for their name said, "If when evil comes upon us, as to saw judgment or pestilence or famine, and we stand before this house and in your presence, for your name is in this house, and if we cry unto thee in our affliction, God, you promise you will hear us, and you will help us. He's reminded God. He said, "God, you gave the plan to David." And he gave it to Solomon and Bill Solomon, and Solomon built the temple. And you said, "If we come into this house and cry unto you, you will hear and you will help." He said, "Whatever you ask, in my name I'll do it." That's where Jesus said, "Watch this." And now, behold, the children of Ammon and Moab and Mount Sarah, whom thou wouldest not let Israel invade when they came out of the land of Egypt, but they turn from them and destroyed them not. Behold, I say, how they reward us to come to cast us out of thy possession, which thou has given us to in it. Look at how they want to take away from us what you gave to us. We need your help, God. We need your help, God. We need your help, God. We need you, Jesus. They are more powerful than us. They got us outnumbered from a natural standpoint. They have more natural connections than we do, but we know we are not outnumbered because they are more with us than against us. Father, Son, Holy Ghost and the host of Heaven, the angels of Heaven is on our side. Listen to what he said, "O our God, will thou not judge them? For we have no might, and we have no glory to God against this great company that comes against us." Neither know we were to do, but our eyes are on you. Someone left your hand and said, "My eyes are on you, Lord." And all Judas stood before the Lord with their little ones, their wives and their children. There is no way God can turn this kind of prayer away. They want one accord. They turn their plates down. They begin to fast. They begin to see God. They said, "We need a move." We need a move of God. We need God to stand and shut the attacks of the enemy down. We need your help. Come on. Have you been crying out to God? Have you been praying desperate prayers lately? Have you been pouring your heart out with everything you got? I got good news for you. God is about to answer your prayer. He is about to answer your heart's cry. May it be past Amy, we join our faith with our brothers and sisters tuning into this broadcast. God, bring them out of this situation. Turn the tables in their favor. Turn that situation around. What the devil means for evil in their life. Cause it to work together for good because they love you, God, and they're called according to your purpose. Open their eyes. Show them the way out. Step in and help God. Step in and help. Step in and help. That sickness, that disease, that torment, that trouble that's sucked all the faith out of them. Step in and drive that devil away God. Break his power. Shut his attacks down. Satan, I rebuke you. I curse you in the name of Jesus devil. The blood of Jesus Christ is against you. Take your hands off of God's people. We resist you in the name of Jesus. For the word of God to class, submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Satan, I rebuke you in the name of Jesus Christ. I take authority over you. I bind you. I bind you in the name of Jesus. I bind you. Rise up child of God. Take your authority and rebuke the devil, resist him because the Bible says, "Resist the devil and he will flee from you." Rise up in the name of Jesus. The Holy Ghost is strengthening you right now. Rise up in the name of Jesus, rise up. Rise up, rise up, rise up, rise up. The name of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Glory to God.
