- Stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop. - Damn, wait, she's talking to her. - Can you be my aunt? (laughing) - She's not his aunt, she's his second cousin. - Doesn't make it better. - Doesn't make it worse. (laughing) - He's from the carboy. (laughing) - But we're from the south, so. - Oh! - Yeah, it's okay. - It all makes us well, right? (laughing) - All right, so none of this is usable. (laughing) - I'm gonna put it in the outside. - But I would hope that it would be. - Yeah, no, we'll just put it in anyway. - Welcome to the Bent in podcast that nobody asked for. I am Nat. - I'm Sam. - I'm James. - I'm James. - I'm Bailey. - I'm Izzy. - I almost had been for so long. (laughing) - I've been Wyatt. - I've been five. - I am him. - Him. (laughing) I'm the nurse, I'm that guy. - He's that guy. - I know, I know Nat. - You're watching. (laughing) - I'm gonna suck her about a fist away from my face. (laughing) - This is gonna make the giggles. - Entering. - Ultimate. (laughing) (laughing) - All righty. (upbeat music) - Season four, episode seven, Ken 10. Ben's son, Ken, turns 10. As a birthday gift, Ben gives Ken an omnitrix with 10 aliens. Ken soon befriends, Devlin. A youth with some times to an arch enemy of Ben's. Dun, dun, dun. - I wonder who. - Then. (sighing) That legit is the longest description I think we've had. - Yeah. - It's three lines. - Man, it was a lot of rhyme. - Yeah, it's really not. - Actually, no, the later ones are four lines. No, I'm under. But yeah, no, that's like, Gwen there. (laughing) - It's Gwen there. - It's Gwen there. - She's been going back to England. - Second cousin, Gwen there. - Second cousin, Gwen there. - She's been going back to England since college, yeah. - Second cousin, Gwen the one. - To me, she'll always be cool. (laughing) - I had to. - What did you say? - Red heads. - Oh, red heads. Nothing more than a sweet set, to be honest. We could stop the bus. - Next episode. - Next episode. (laughing) - That as a kid was one of my more favorite episodes of Ben's hair. - Oh, yeah, absolutely. - I think seeing like another future episode, just seeing him all grown up with a kid was pretty cool. - Yeah. - And just, I don't know, for some reason, and Bailey said it's like the Spartan rage at the end when, you know, his kid passes it out of rage. And then he starts to arrange as a dad. It's like, "How dare you?" And it's like, "Wow, that's powerful." - Yeah. - 'Cause reason is the way the appearance. - Yeah, yes. - You wanna know my secret? - I've been holding back. - That's literally how it felt of just like that way big and then it's just, he literally is making Kevin bounce in between the two. - And then doing it again. - Yeah, I can't. - He never went way big and then the moment his son says, "Okay." - The, Kevin's ability to use alien abilities whilst on his human form is scary. - Yeah. - And get him like crunched and then standing back up and trying to both like-- - It seems like he could have done more. - It may have stayed in human form. - Yeah. - Like I feel like with like how he uses human form, he's still super strong and like super fast. Like not as much of a big target. I feel like he could have done it. - That's his bleeding effect. It also is him because like whenever being transformed in the army tricks and whenever it runs out, he always like, no matter how beat up the alien is, he's perfectly fighting, he might be tired. - Yeah. - Yeah, which looks like Kevin now has that ability constantly of like, I would just reset my DNA back to the zero. - Yeah. - Which is, look it's scary. - They have a nice thing of like, what? Ben has been fighting Kevin for probably 30 odd years. - Yeah, yeah. - And then he sees him in his original monster form and he's like, oh yes, it's still Kevin. And then we see what he is now. I'm like, a motherfucker. How did you confuse that? - Well, I think the idea is meant to be that Kevin looked like that when he was trapped in the null void. - Yeah, but he must have come back to have a son at some point. - Yeah, he's gone. - Not within your own. - But what I mean is I think it's possible that in this timeline, this version of events, Kevin just only stayed as that amalgamation of 10. Like even as he grew up and then like at some point after he had Devlin, which Ben did not know about, he was then chucked in the null void and then in the null void was when he got everything else. - Yeah, so I was about to say, you say that maybe if you give two things up. One, it is said when he transforms into that other form. - He got all the stuff from the null void. - Then he's only from the null void. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - He got it from the null void. Also like, if he was always that big, new thing guy, how did he have a kid? - I said, I think he learned how to, he learned how to go in an hamster. - And he, yeah. - Fuck his man. - He's a monster. (bell ringing) - In monsters or monsters? - For this favor. - So yeah, what is your opinion on that? - What? - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - I never said anything today that resumes anything too with like hormones and stuff. - Neither. - Well, that sounds like a lie. - Yeah, probably sounds like a lie. - So what did you say about Wabic? - Wabic. - Wabic, okay. You look at Wabic. He's pummeling Kevin 11,000. - That's not what you said. That's not what you said. - I know it's what you wanted to do. - No, no, no, no. - Wabic is, while Wabic is punching Kevin 11,000 into the ground, they do a shot of his face. And Wabic just appears to have the most delicate lips. - So what I'm understanding is that Nat wants uppies from Wabic. - Uppies. (all laughing) - This is all getting cut. (all laughing) - No, it's definitely. - No, it's definitely. But yeah, no, I mean with the omnitrix, although Ken was kind of complaining the odds and it's like shut the fuck up, you're going on in tricks, Ben did kind of rig the dicks against him. Like, Ken here was fine. He kind of chose some brief niggas. - Well, I mean, he has a good one. - I don't know, for sure, there was some cool ones, but like, you know, no diamond, no glass. - He gave him defensive innovation. - It seemed like he gave him a lot of-- - Run away and hide, for all we know. - So he did say that about the celery instinct, however, they were to have him so he could run away at the end or two. But also for all we know, like, maybe Spencer is like a alien that Ken really likes. Maybe Ben actually chose like a mix of like 10 that he really likes and some ones that he's like, I want you to have these to keep you safe. Like, shell head was probably a, you know, defensive one because his only power is to hide in a shell. - Yeah, and like, he's like, why do you give me toe peck? Toe peck scares me, I don't want it. Like all the ones that he literally complaining as soon as he sees any of them. He's like, why do you give the, like, I can't pick any of them. Ken was going like, a Tomax. I think he said a Tomax. I think a Tomax is an alien that we see in the... - A Tomax? - Yeah, a Tomax. - He comes up an orphan alien or only verse who literally can like, change the atomic nature. - Oh, man. - He can alter atoms. - Also. - He's like one of the three big ones. - Okay, speaking of Omniverse, I could put you forgot to mention the spec earlier, how a Ben mummy becomes Nero and Ben wolf becomes. - Let's wolf. - Let's wolf her. - Ben Victor becomes, I want to say Frank and Ben. - Frank and Ben. Frankly? - Ben. - Ben Franklin. - Ben Franklin. - Ben Franklin. - Ben Franklin. - Ben Franklin. - Like, I don't know, where's, he's got lightning. - He really... - Frank and strike, he becomes Frank and strike. - He really did. - He's going into Frank and strike. - Like, Ken really figured out his way as being like, I'm going to get around this my dad. Can I trade one up? Can I have gray mad at him? - Yeah, that's it. The mode is a gray man. I was like... There was a dead boy, dead boy's going to drank it. - Yeah, yeah. - But it's like, it just shows how much like Ken is like, kind of smarter than his father, because Ben never thought he'd do that. - Yeah, yeah. - And it's just like, do you know how complex that would be for him? Because it's on his back. - Yeah, yeah. - It's just a... - Even then, he wouldn't be able to do anything, right? 'Cause it's not the watch. - Yeah, it's not the watch. - Would it need to be the watch to do the combinations? - I reckon you could have written down notes. - That's what I was thinking. As gray mad at right down all the like, the best combinations to try. - No, no, no, he totally could, because think about it, Ben 10,000 goes to Arbin, and is able to just tap it and switch it on the fly. So I reckon gray matter could probably get it back in this. - I think it can actually be operated when he's an alien form. It just takes a different kind of form when he is. - Right. - Thank you for rattling on the table, the available. - Why in a while does it look like armor but for no one else it does? - I'm sorry. - Oh yeah. - Yeah, the one look is like a shoulder holder. Well, I guess that's 'cause for all the aliens, in the original way. - Stingfly hasn't mounted to his face with nothing else. - Well, for all we know, that's like some black latex or something. - I mean, we did see, was it? - So, no. - We saw-- - Spendish. - Spendish. - I'd just say spandish. - I'm trying to make-- - I've been to say spandish. - Can't be. - Kind of in trying to make it 30 more. - I've been to say spandish anyway, no, no. Okay, I will bring that up in just a second, okay? - I'm worried. - But in the original chin roster, it's all the only trick symbols always on the clothing they have when he turns into them. And so, for a while, I think that was just been going for the same pattern of it as to be on the clothing, but it's not until, like, again, it could be spandic on over his head for all we know. - He's wearing a mask for his identity. - Yeah, I know what you're gonna say. - Can I say it? - No one. - Okay, so, I'll tell them. Is this the thing about when I had to look up images? - No, I was one who looked it up, but-- - Oh, this, oh, okay, this is the yesterday thing. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - Okay, yesterday, cool, cool. - Now that you're tapping on the table. - So, what happened is that I can't remember why, but for some reason, I had to look up stink fly. And all I did was hit images and I scrolled down, not even like a full, like, painting solid phone screen. And I'm already getting sexy stink fly. And I'm like, and I went, okay, guys, look at this. You know when you click in and then it goes related? There was more. And I'm like, what the (beeping) - Yeah. - But apparently, the Benton rule 34 is very strong. - 'Cause I had the same thing. I was looking up-- - 34 is strong, this one. (laughing) - Look, it's bad enough. - I was saving images of the main characters for this. - Any-- - Yeah, no, 16. - No, but do you search up Gwen Tennyson? Third row, it's rule 34. It's edited stuff. - It's that picture we saw of us staring down at Ken. - It is. - Oh, God. - Hit it and I'll let it go. - I had a sticker book when I was little. And, oh, a Benton sticker book. But it was clearly like a knock-off one, which, because there was one sticker in it, which had a clear in it and got-- - Also, what was the beginning Gwen hugging? - No. - How's I? - I don't think so. - I've seen one of that. - It's a knock-off and it makes it look like Ben and Gwen are a couple. - It's worse. - Oh, no. - And it's just like, I'm not gonna talk about it on the progress. I'll tell you guys about it once, we start recording. - I think it might be the one that-- - It's just an image that just confuses-- - Like, why is this in here? And then it's like, years later, I'm like, oh, I see what happened. This was like a knock-off thing. And they just searched up Ben, Tin, and got like all the main images. They got off Google images. And somehow, this was quite high up. Anyways. - Isn't that fun? - But yeah, no, great episode. That was a lot of fun. - It was a good episode, yeah. - Yeah, it was great. - It was great. - We have a future one. - Do we have anything else to say about Gwen? - Oh, I've got to say, it is no dogs who are harmed in the making of this. - One was smashed to pizza. - Yeah, but it's a buddy. - In the movie form, Grandpa Max gets high and then goes on stung walks. - Yeah, I mean, dude wakes him back. - And then fucking dead eyes, Kevin. Comes back well high and dead eyes, Kevin, in the chest. - Yeah. - Oh. - Let's speak for that, Max. - All righty. - Is that, are we going? Are we moving on? - Yeah. - Joseph. - Yep, this will be me signing out. - Thank you so much for coming. - Yep. - The time is 901 p.m. You got here at 9 a.m. today. - 855. - 855 today. - I'm looking for the love to have ours. - Nice. - And I'm not getting paid. Who needs to let go first? - This feels like that's under like-- - Me and Sam just looking at each other being like, we've been here 30 seconds. - There's a lot of handshaking going on at this table right now. - And then just put your hand in the middle one. - Here we go. - Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Is this a goddamn leg? - All right, stop it. - Release of three, two, one. - They kind of look like we made it like a star. - That was good to grab. - We'll do it again. - Yeah. - I hope so. - Nice, the next one. - Alien Force. - The Alien Force. - The Alien Force. (upbeat music) - Do you remember they did that thing? - They did the thing with the stuff. - Oh, that thing. - Yeah, that thing. - They did a presentation of a head like swag. So I took it. Slightly doxxing yourself, but okay. - We were given it. They said we could take it. They had too much. - Yeah? - It's fine, we'll cut it. - Yeah. - Yeah. - Yeah, everything gets it. - There's not much going on. - It's getting it hard again. - They said we could take it. They had it left over. - No. - That's not the point at the point at the point at the point. Okay. - What am I to do? - I said doxxing it 'cause you gave location name. - Oh yeah, that actually was a cutting net. Someone else said Joseph. - They all did it. I'm absolutely covering that up. - Oh yeah, there was a couple of them. - Yeah, cutting those. - Are we gonna do the sense we were talking about? - Yes. - You've got so much hate mail on there. - We're in 10, nobody else had Gmail.com. - All right, then. - B-E-N-1-0, nobody asked at gmail.com. - He's just gonna take that sound but then add it to it. - I need to record it and try a free chip so yeah. - All right. - Amazing. - So, season four, episode eight. Goodbye and good riddance. The summer finally ends. Ben and Gwen have to go back to their normal lives. Grandpa Max tells Ben to get the Omnitrix a secret from everyone, even his parents. Ben agrees, but Vilgax arrives and he'll stop at nothing to get the Omnitrix. - Dan. So, I mean, this episode isn't canon. - Yeah, well, I mean, my first question. - I was gonna say, as soon as that intro ended, it opened with a comic book. - Which is exactly how Gwen 10 opens. - Yeah. - And their finishes, yeah. - I'm very spite of that. - That being said, yeah. I think this is meant to be like, the creators intend for this to be the final episode watched of the series, but they did that. They always meant it to be a kind of, what if, 'cause when the show finished "Alien Force", I think was already in like pre-production or like that. - Yeah, it started to say here. - Yeah. - I mean, 'cause it's, I guess it's interesting 'cause they included obviously on the DVD, but the movie isn't. So I guess it is kind of meant to be watched without. - And also money. - Yes. - If you sell selfing separately. - Yeah, exactly. - Yeah, for you. - One thing about this episode that I really like is the awkward relationship between Grandpa Max and his son. I don't wanna do that because this whole time we've seen Grandpa Max is like almost this perfect father figure for Ben, like being like wise and stuff. But then you also see the problem with that is that he's retired now, so he has that time to do so. Whereas when he's like, oh, he always had like an emergency, which you get the idea that he grew up kind of without a father. - Yeah. - For a lot of his life, which you're thinking, oh. - Yeah. That's right, buddy. - But it adds like more to his character. - Mm. - Yeah. - I don't know if they ever explore that, but I hope they do. I think they do. - I can't. - Yeah. - There's the relationship between Max and his son is touched on a bit in Alien Force, but I think only in one episode, and not much because it's an episode that Max isn't in, but Ben's dad is. - Is this the first time you've seen his parents? - This is the first time we've seen Ben's parents. - Yeah. - And he apparently has a shapeshifting dog. - Yeah. - By that, I mean, he changed sizes three times. (laughing) - Also, they're rich as hell. Did you see how nice that is? - That was like a rare story. - How, yeah. - Quite a bit. - It looks like the possibles house. - Oh my God, yes. - His mom wasn't like, wasn't houndering today. I assume she has a job. We know the dad has a job. And also, it's a small town in Central America, right? - Bells you? - Bellwood. - Bellwood. - Bellwood. (laughing) - Didn't we figure it out? It wasn't in California. I want to say we figured out we locked down the state with California. - Maybe. - Yeah. - But anyway, like, yeah. Also, when this show came out. At least it's a really nice house, though. - Yes, does Kelly have a mountain range? - 'Cause in the movie, Bellwood has mountains. - California has mountains? - Yeah, people are on hikes in California. - But like, lots of places in America have mountains. The Appalachian Trail goes for quite a while. There are quite a few mountains on that. - That is fair. - We didn't get any new aliens. That's a really nice send-off. - Yeah, it's a fun one, it's fun one. - If you take it as the last one, it is a good send-off. - Ben and Gwen have that really lovely goodbye. - Yeah. - I could see how this was meant to wrap it up. This is the final episode Ben 10 will not go on any longer. - But- - Later this year- - I would say like they got like half way through the season. They had that, they ripped that episode. They're like, oh, that's cool. And then they went, you guys are going to continue this, right? With him being older, and they were like, yeah, we didn't know we're going to get funding. And we're just like, this is weird, what is the episode now? - I could straight up see that. - Yeah, it could have been like the failsafe of. - Yeah. - This does end, this is a great place to go. - Like if somehow our ratings tanked. - Yeah, I did just check the IMDb, obviously it could be wrong, but yeah, it seems like it's the last episode in the order, and then the movies after it. So there's three episodes that take place after. - The reason the movies are listed, that the Secret of the Omnitrix movie is listed as three episodes in IMDb is because the Secret of the Omnitrix movie is the length of three episodes. And series four is only 10 episodes. I think what happened there is the money for those extra three episodes, they just said we'll make a movie. And so that, but of course, that would still mean the budget with production IDs and stuff. I do believe in some places and somewhere, some of DVDs that's available as three separate episodes. - Right. - You buy it and it's in three parts. So each episode has its own production ID. - And I think it was also, was it really? - And only one of, I think only one of those episodes actually has an air date. It's probably how they break it up for TV. - Yeah, it actually was split weird. The last episode was in 2007. Everything else was in. Wait a minute. - May I? - Sorry. - Wait a minute, that's wrong. - It didn't look. - It sees part three is in 2007, part one and two are in 2008. - Yes, so Secret of the Omnitrix aired like halfway through season four. - Oh, okay. - And the reason that 11 and 12 have 2008 but no proper date is because I think they've just said it's after. - All right. - So this is all great. Maybe save it for when we review the movie. - Yeah. - Yes. - It does seem like good to see enough. Also, I find it really funny. I just thought that when you were talking about like, hey, this was, oh, we didn't think we're gonna get fun anymore. Like imagine, man of action going to Cartoon Network and say, okay, so yeah, we're all done with Bintit. And this guy who's like rolling around and money goes, what? - No, you're not. - Excuse me. - Do you know how much money this is? Do you know how much merchandise this is like? You know how many toys you can sell from this? - This is like, not as good as Pokemon but like it's up there. - You're gonna do another series and you're gonna give them Tim or aliens. - Yeah, put a card in it. - See, they probably were like, hmm, we've sold enough toys for these aliens. No one else wants them. We're gonna reboot your show and you have to make 10 new aliens for us. - Oh, aliens? - More aliens. - More toys. - No, no, there's like, more aliens, more money. - Money. - That's all we care about. - There's more money. - Less problems. - Anything else. - Cash and JD get legit for the third time. - Yes, fantastic. - The time they know who did it. - Yeah. - And Gwyn changes schools. - Gwyn changes schools. - Yeah, it's Gwyn changes schools. - Yeah. I like the relationship between Ben and Gwyn, what's because now? Because it becomes so less animosities. Like, there's less animosities. - Yes, yeah, there's less animosities and there's a lot more like, we are making fun of each other because that's our dynamic and that's fun. - Yeah. - We both like doing that and it's good. - That's the vibe. - No, no. - Yeah. - Yeah, it's not like... - Yeah. - Thank you. (laughs) - I think it's really sweet that, you know, in the first episode he walks in, he's like, "Ugh, what's she doing here?" And then this episode he gets dropped off at home and they just have that little smile to each other through the window as she drives off. It's nice. - Yeah. Well, do we have anything else to say or do we want to keep it brief and move on? - Oh, I also love how at the beginning when he's like, time to get you home Ben, summer's over. And he does that. - No. - Yeah. - Just like in series one, episode four, permanent retirement. (laughs) - Very good. - Where are we going next grandpa? - We're gonna see your aunt Vera. - No! - I think for the next week or two, I'm gonna have way too much information of Ben 10. - Oh, yeah. - Yeah. - It's not gonna be useful. I kid you not, if I have to program anything in the next week or two, variable names will start being named after aliens. - Yeah. - Just because I'll be like trying to think of a name and it'll be an alien name will come into my head. - You're like, "Oh, we need to end this line." And you're like, "Ah, cause this will be wild vine." And we're just gonna, and everyone's like, "Why wild vine?" You're like, "Dawn." - So it's dark. - I like this. - What do you name this line of code, handy, buddy, Sam? (laughs) - What were you doing? - What? - Speakers-y. - No, no, no, no, no. - Speakers-y. - Speakers-y. - Speakers-y. - What were you gonna say? - You should have named ticketing printers Ben, Ben, and Max, but we didn't. - Aw. - And Kevin, Nick, and Joe. Which is pretty good. - How are we still going with their names? - Um. - Two months ago. - Okay. - Yeah. - Anyway. - That's upsetting. You've upset me. - I'm so sorry. - I will have words with certain people about this. - Yeah, right? - I will have words about this. - Words will happen. - Words will be action. - Words will be handled. - Okay, are we ready to move on? - Yeah. - That's awesome. - Let's see something tonight. - Is it, is it the last time? - It's a two, we're about to watch a two-part. - Two-part, two-part. - In this movie, it's a two-part. - You've been listening to the Ben Tim podcast that nobody asked for.
