This command to love God is taken from Deuteronomy 6:5, where we find the word "mind"is missing, in the Septuagint (LXX) the word "heart". When Jesus reiterated the command he included all these. So we have from the gospel of Mark 12:30 love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.
