I'm your host, Alex Bloopen, and it's Saturday, August the 3rd. All right, guys, we got to recap a monster day for yesterday. We had 10 plays and it looks like we had about five winners. So we kind of broke even. I actually had a win in a couple of bucks, but for the podcast, we only went five up and five down. Let's get into what we have from yesterday. So Kansas City, we called this one pretty good. We had Kansas City in the first five innings, and we took them plus half a run. And then we also took them over one and a half runs in the first five innings and then a race to two runs. So unfortunately Detroit got out to a two-nothing lead, but that's all they got. Kansas City ended up owning them after that. So we won the first five. I ended up putting another bet on Kansas City to win the first five, just outright, not just plus the half a run. And then also, it's kind of like a soccer bet when you do halftime, full time. But I kind of did that in this one as well. And I came out to a plus 200, so I liked that. I had Kansas City to win the first five, so they couldn't push. They had to be up over five innings and then also go on to win the game. And that's kind of exactly what happened. So that was nice. I ended up going two in one for the podcast on that one. Our kind of gems we took. We took one Soto over his hits, runs and RBIs. He cashed that in the first inning. That was a beauty call. And then we had a play on Paul Goldschmidt to get over one and a half bases at plus 160. So now I didn't put a full unit on that as we were getting the big odds for it. But yeah, he got two walks versus Assad. So that was kind of who we were attacking, Paul Goldschmidt versus. So when he got it, two walks versus him. And then he actually didn't even end up getting hit at all. And then we had Danzby Swanson to get two bases. And he singled his first time at bat, but that's only got. So we got just a one hit. So he didn't come through for us there. And then our batter parlays. We had one Soto, Stephen Kwan. That came through as a winner. We had Bobby Witt and Gunnar Henderson. Gunnar Henderson let us down. Didn't like that at all. But what can you do, that one lost. And then we had Willie Adams and Mason Win together. That was a winner. And then Jirikson Profar didn't get a hit. And Juan Yepes did. So we ended up going again six for eight on the batter. So we're just a little off on calling the right ones together. So let's see if we can get into it today. All right, our board today, I got two plays that I love. We're going to take Pittsburgh and Arizona over eight and a half runs. Now it's Jordan Montgomery going for Arizona. We don't like Jordan Montgomery. This guy seven in five, he's got a 651 ERA in a 1.69 whip and gives up 12.01 hits per nine. So Arizona's pitchers not great. We think Pittsburgh can get to them. But I can't take Pittsburgh on the money line. Arizona is just playing some really good baseball right now. They've got wins at eight of their last nine games. And in that nine game streak, they're scoring 7.9 runs by themselves, not to mention what their opponents doing. And we need to get over eight and a half. And they're scoring just about eight runs, averaging eight runs a game themselves over that stretch. Now it's Mitch Keller going for Pittsburgh. Now I would like to be backing Pittsburgh, but Mitch Keller doesn't have great history versus Arizona. You know, he's 10 and 5. He's got a 3.30 ERA. But as well as Arizona's playing, I think they can get to Mitch Keller. And I think Pittsburgh is going to get to Jordan Montgomery. So instead of taking a side and kind of guessing, I like the over eight and a half. And actually, we got some wind blowing out in Pittsburgh's part today, too. So we've got good hitting conditions. We've got one pitcher. We don't like one pitcher who has bad history against the opposing team. So yeah, give me Pittsburgh, Arizona, over eight and a half. Our next play is we're going to take Baltimore and Cleveland, also over eight and a half runs. Now Cleveland's got their rookie Joey Castillo going. Now this is his second start. His first one didn't go well. He's got an 8.10 ERA. He gave up two home runs and three innings. So not great. So I really think Baltimore's offense should be able to get to him. And on the other side, Zach Afflin. And Cleveland hits Zach Afflin really well as well. And now Cleveland is eight and two over their last 10 games. They've got wins at five in a row. They're averaging seven runs over their last five game winning streak by themselves. So with Baltimore going versus this rookie, I think Baltimore can score a ton of runs. I think Cleveland can get to Zach Afflin. I think this is a good look. Give me Baltimore Cleveland over eight and a half runs. All right. And now we've got a couple of batter parlays that we like. We are going to take Vladigarrero of the Toronto Blue Jays to get one hit. And we're going to pair that with Jose Altuve at the Houston Astros. Vlad is on a 15 game history. He's got seven hits versus the Yankees this year. In all seven of the games, he's flavors. The Yankees has got a hit. He's betting three 10 versus left-handed pitching. And he's betting 556 versus Carlos Rodone, the starting pitcher that yanks today. So that's a good look. I'm going to have to find other ways to use Vladi today. Also, Altuve. Now, he's got to hit 21 of his last 25 games, that's 304 on the year. And he's three for three versus Zach Little going today. So that's a good combo of those two. And it comes out to minus 112. So I like that. Next plays. We're going to take Josh Bell to get one hit. Now, I'm going to find other ways to use Josh Bell today because he has got a stellar record versus Mitch Keller. So this is, again, one of the reasons why we can't take Pittsburgh by themselves on the Moneyline versus Montgomery because Josh Bell absolutely crushes Mitch Keller. So first of all, Josh Bell is on an eight game hitting streak. He's homerd in six-- excuse me-- he's six for seven versus Keller. And he's got a homer, a double, and four walks versus him. He's got two plus hits and six out of his last seven games. And he's got seven home runs over that stretch. That is wild. And we're going to pair Josh Bell with Lewis Arias of the San Diego Padres. Now Lewis is batting 325 versus right handed pitching. He's got to hit in 20 of his last 25 games. And the pitcher going today gives up 14.04 hits per nine. So that's a beautiful combo. We'll give you Lewis Arias and Josh Bell to get one hit each. And that comes out at a minus 124. Our next play is we're going to take Colton Kouser of the Baltimore Orioles. Now our boy Gunnar Henderson's been letting us down lately, so we're going to pivot over to this guy. Now they're giving him zero respect. He is a minus 170 to get one hit, which is wild. Now he's moved his way into the lead-off spot. He's kind of taking Gunnar Henderson's spot in the lead-off spot in Baltimore. He's on a 15-game hitting streak. And you haven't met a minus 170. That just seems wild. Now again, he's going versus this rookie Joey Castillo. And again, it's his second start. He's giving up two homers, both the left-handed batters, which matters as well, as Colton Kouser is the left-handed batter. So the reason that we're using a minus 170 guy is we're going to pair him with a minus 400 guy. And that's our boy Bobby Witt. Now he's on a 15-game hitting streak. He's got an MLB best, 3.48 on the year. But when you pair these two guys together, you get a minus 105. So Colton Kouser of the Baltimore Orioles and Bobby Witt of the Kansas City Royals. We're pairing those two guys together. And I got one more play. We're going to take Stephen Kwan to get one hit, that 3.32 on the air. He's 1 for 2 versus Zach Affleck. He's an absolute beast. And we're going to pair him with Quetel Marte of also the Arizona Diamondbacks who crushed Mitch Keller. He's 444 versus Keller. He's got two hits and three of his last four. And he's been going deep. He's got seven home runs in his last 10 games. And when you pair Quon and Kouser of Marte together, you get a minus 121. So I like that as well. So we've got six plays going today, and then I'm going to figure out a way to get some more on Vladi and Josh Bell, because I really like their statistics versus their pitchers today. So after a whole hum, I think I ended up winning about one and a half, two units yesterday or two days. They're not the best on a 10-game step. But we'll take it. Winning days and winning day. All right, guys. You're rocking with me. Let's roll. [BLANK_AUDIO]
