I just realized I had to add in a photo over there before I got on the jail. And I'll be your host tonight as we talk through the last livestream before the season kicks off. And with that, we've got a stellar lineup, but Tom, in favor of it, is Andy. How are you doing tonight, mate? Yeah, no, bad mate. I just remember I realized that I still had the intro from the trust trophy game last night. All night before on, my days are going completely not this week. So, and also, I need to add that to my long list of things, like editing the intro with the potential that Todd might be moved on. I do have to worry about telling it now, as it seemed to be staking his claim today on our TV, but yeah, I've still got my homework to do before the game of the weekend. What I think you should do, Andy, is get a long list of the players collectively as a pod we won already and put them in the opening video because I really like the video, but as soon as we had it, everybody just went this year. So, I think get your scrot right in there, get your hoses if we're in tears, you know, and we'll get them in because range is on the day now. I do, as well. Also joining us tonight, representing the young team, it's Dylan, solid debut last week. So good we've had to get you on again. Welcome back. Hi, yeah, thanks for getting me on there, Colin. I appreciate it. I enjoyed the show last week, everybody was amazing. And yeah, I enjoyed the chat. It passed, it passed really quickly, felt like it felt like it was only on the pod for 10 minutes, so that's a really good thing. You make it easy as well, Colin, so I'm glad to get back on it. The boys keep me around for something, so it must be that. It must be that, but good to have you back. So, we're well representing with the young team. David is here, joining me in the old criminal's corner, just to make sure this doesn't hit on the air wave tonight. Welcome back, David. How's it going, sir? How's it going? Yes, we are very much the jat and vector of air proceedings, which I'm alright with, to be honest. Absolutely, and last and by no means least, hello to all the listeners. First of all, watching live, Facebook, YouTube, and, well, get your comments in, plenty of chat, and we'll obviously take any questions in any memory requirements you send in, and hello to everybody who's listening after the fact as well. Just to remind us, plan your content, have them again. Few nine o'clock every morning, Monday, Friday, we are here with the news. Two David's are dropping at the weekend for the Patreon members and the YouTube members, and of course, you get your live stream every Thursday and Sunday. So, for the extra content, if that's not your fault, then just a pound a month there for on Patreon and YouTube. So, yeah, if that's not your bag, give us a like, a subscribe for help support out massively. So, let's get straight in and put it, and the rangers have, we were talking about a title for tonight's episode, and I said, opening day optimism, because I don't know what it was, I don't know if it's just because I had had the modern afternoon show this week, today, sorry. You know, I didn't, you know, I wasn't abroad, didn't we? We shot young's ranch. I woke up feeling quite good, you know, ahead of the weekend, you know, see that way, you kind of go up and doing so, we said, well, title it, opening day optimism, range of staying out of optimism, and kind of turn the tenfold there, we're signing robin proper, but I sure thought it's a nasty one. I'm happy that they made that, because as I said the other, they put up the James Tavernier RTV interview for earlier on in the day, and I thought the emphasis on Rangers captain, James Tavernier on the tweet was like, oh you bastard, he's absolutely just stuck it to his that he's here, just for the long run, it seems like, so that was a bit of it, I think I put it in the chat, and just an eight with a lot of haters to kind of describe my feelings towards it, but yeah, I was happy to see it, you know, we made that, we made the announcement, a new colossus at the back, we don't beg them up to early here obviously, that was just a nice, I'd like to see when Mason's hiding, now actually after they put in the chat that it's not happening, this week, I won't play, because it's not announced, and I'm announced that, but I'm sure we'll get into that later while I don't hear my feature at the weekend. Dallin, I find most of us would have agreed that we needed an improvement in the center of defense area without anybody even leading. Connor Gosin leaving arguably almost insisting, I'll do play our best center half, and we won't go to the, we've done the Gosin debate to death, but we're Gosin leaving, we've brought in somebody who's played maybe three, four hundred games at top level football, and then around the continent, particularly in Dutch football, he is a captain of FCE, he was a captain of FCE, he's put in his role, I think we're again a defender probably in his prime, or just past his prime, when we're 30 year old, he's always been talented to be playing in that level, and we've brought the leadership show, so everything that FCE were arguing for, keeping Connor Gosin, everything we've lost there, and it works on people like we've replaced. Yeah yeah, I agree, the only thing we're having, replacing oldton isn't something you can't really replace is the experience going to these tough places, you know what I mean? Such as their stadium, photography, 10 castle, you know what I mean, you just kind of accumulate these experiences, you know, Saturday will be a tough game if he gets started, you know, but I do think he's, I should sign in, you know what I mean, I do think he's he's a good sign, and he looks pretty good for what I've seen, he looks like he could be the players that would be missing at the back, the leader, like I don't think certain Davies communicate that well, you know, when you're a strong communicator at the back, I think as something go to him was, I don't think a lot of the fans realized that until kind of the COVID season, and when you look back on that and you hear him, and he was one of the loudest players in the park, you know, he's so well be missed pre-last season, he's formed pre-last season was pretty stable, but less than a fist defender, Rob and Proper comes in, and he defends well, and he passes the ball well, puts the blocks and doesn't he make any silly mistakes, scores a few hitters, that's all I ask for, you know, I don't ask him to be Paolo Maldini, I don't ask him to over-perform and champions league, you know what I mean, I ask him to give, give his overrangers, put his body on the line, and block stuff, and defend, and hit balls and one aerial duel and lead to back line, and that's all I ask for, you know. I mean, we may not be expecting a Paolo Maldini, but they all took well ends all on the rest of our treadmill, but wouldn't he go on this? I mean, everything you've just saved, they are getting back comfortable in the ball, does the basics well, and pops up with some hurdles, I mean, that's it, to making some range of greats. David, there's been a lot of comments from an insane time hotel, we will need to, near way until April's, but then just because, I mean, they've been putting out excellent Dutchmen coming to the range doesn't do very well, but very recently there's been a couple of nightmares, I like Sam Ramos. I'm, I've been reading a lot on Twitter the day and four or four about the rain up for Saturday, and we'll get to any of that there. I think a lot of the team will pick itself, depending on the first options of that. We spoke this week on the same half position game as the feel. Is it too early? It puts some then who's had, you know, experienced top level football, he's had a preseason, but he doesn't know the name in his teammates. No, I think, I think he can go on for the start. He'll get a couple of training sessions under his bell, he'll obviously mix with the players, whether he, you know, knows anything previously, I would imagine he'll know, or at least know of, didn't he? I think he'll be, I think he'll be in for the start. We very rarely make defensive changes during the game, so I, I think he'll be, I think he'll be partnering, I would like to think so. I've already said, like, I did never, never particularly knew much about Robin Proper, rather than I'd help the name in you who he played for. It's only when I've done the research last night in the morning that I've got no, I've got no issues where I'm getting puts straight into the team. But what I would say is I'm actually quite, I'm actually quite glad that, you know, even in the comments here, as I'm reading, it's like we'll see how it goes, you know, see how we get so, and we'll give him a chance, you know. I'm not writing him off, which is good, but it's also good that we're not like, you know, just all of that, so as we're all beaters now, that's as we're gonna run our mark. I think everybody knows, there's a rather large, obvious evil, um, in progress and, you know, on the horizon and fair enough, he's a small piece of the jigsaw, but I think he'll turn it to be an important one. Um, he's 30, um, which as I said this morning, as, I mean, it's only a year's difference for golden, but the difference is that he's not showing signs of regression, you know, he's still solid, he's still a leader, he's, um, he's, you know, he's there when he needs to be, um, and he appears to read the game very well. Uh, the 20 supporters, they're gutted for what I've saw, and we even saw all signs point to positivity, um, but it's good to see that we're we're still being grounded as a support, um, as you say, maybe, maybe it'll no turn it to be a Maldini, but I'm a ra-ra-ra-ra-ra, so that'll do. Even, even on the LST's corner golden, if I be bad at that, I would take that in a heartbeat, uh, uh, and the, um, going on until that we turn the question that I don't know the answer to, but I was actually just thinking now, does it play, right? Unless he's the center defense, and again, when I was running a transfer, I'm out of the, uh, which is if he's played either or, um, David's getting a torch done there, who he'd, what I see next him, um, I do find John Sutter, uh, as, as a better option, um, Ben Davis. I think we on bargains probably more reliable over 90 minutes than both of them, but we on bargains is going to be a stop. Yeah, I think so, you know, I think it's, I think, in the start of the day for me, it's Sutter and Eh, another. Um, yeah, it's so interesting to be. I mean, um, I said, like, last night, when I went to the assessment, I said, um, it depends on how we, we set up, um, as to how this game goes, in my opinion. Um, if we're looking to try and go back to the way we were playing and that 11 win spell that we had, and after the month came in, it was a lot of passing through the lines, and if that's what we're going to try and go back to, going from the back, I would have maybe favoured Ben Davis, because I feel he's a better ball player. Um, but it depends on, does the manger think Davies can hold up in that battle against the Shankland, and I wouldn't want to test it. So potentially, yeah, I would be going with Sutter, um, it's just that at any games where if we're going to have a lot of the ball, I mean, if Davies was brought in to be a ball player and sent her back, then wait, I'll be a ball player and sent her back. But, yes, they're going to have to take into account the heart striker as many teams found out last season, including ourselves. Is that the way we're the same? We have to move the heart striker and we spoke about everybody knows I love him. You don't love him, actually? I know. This podcast had been through some turmoil in the last five years, and I don't think anything has rocked him more than it. And, like, the civil war we've had over water in Shankland. Um, let's just stick with that. You know, I like a Shankland ding dong. They're in cars on the table. He's better than what we have, but he's no good enough to, uh, for what we need. Um, that's basically my, uh, synopsis of it. I think Andy Mason and Sean Mcguys, um, on the other side of that, as they will say that he's the top coach from the week, he's the best player on the week. Um, so that, that's their all fair points. Set out of the breakfast as the newest member on the podium. Do you take Shankland on off? I don't take him. And that's a simple answer. And the reason I don't take him is that I'll be Andy. Now I know why you are so happy to bring him in, Colin. You're just trying to find your allies. I don't know. He's a plan. He's, he's holding his arm. He's holding his arm. No, I, I just, I just don't, I just, I'm sick of hearing his name. The one that's where, um, I want us to get a striker who'll just score goals and, you know, beat defenders. Like, I don't think Shankland's going to be some day. You can pass a ball and then he's going to run it as a defender and beat him. Shankland's, I don't know if he's got much pace going in behind either. You know, everything comes in front of defenders. You know what I mean? A lot of these goals are, can he serve us related goals? You know what I mean? And listen, we'll give, we'll give him good service, of course, but the pressure is different when you play for Rangers. Playing for hearts and playing for Rangers are two different clubs. You know what I mean? It's like playing junior football to play in professional football. It's totally different. You know what I mean? Like, your expectation is there. If he has a few, if he has a bad spell, like, he has, and he went 12 games without scoring. He's not going to be getting crit, he's not going to get really criticized. That Rangers is going to be getting hounded at the door. You know, I mean, fans are going to be demanding his heat. You know what I mean? And George Square, like, that's the nature of playing for Rangers. Um, and the money being mutied from, I would say that before, but I wouldn't have paid hearts a penny for him when he's got, I mean, a penny over 1 million, 1.5 million. I wouldn't have paid a penny over it if we didn't go for him. Just because, like, they're talking about 3 to 5 million for him. We won your left in his contract. Like, don't, don't make me laugh. You know what I mean? Because, um, it's, this is funny. Um, but listen, that, sorry, if he did come, if he did come, um, I wouldn't, I wouldn't have a problem with it. You know what I mean? It depends on what we pay from though, because if we went and stupidly bowed down your hearts, then I would be fuming. Because I think for the money that's been mutied from, I think we can get a much younger end. Maybe no better, but someday who in the long run could go and score goals. I know we've been linked this week with Peter Rakoff from, uh, R.B. Salzburg, a 6 foot 4, Serbian striker. So, make it, make it that what you want. Even though we're the first, uh, based on European cycle, we've been like, wait, that's the one who probably know the last, um, but just the end of the last, uh, the house, uh, sorry, the Shankman one. I think you make a good point on the fee. If I'm being honest and being fair, AI is a better option than this. I think, I think this was more, more goals than this. And I think over the course of this season, you'll probably be the first cycle, the pretty goals, but I think for that, anyway, but we need somebody that can do it in Europe and, um, and domestic way for that, and the money, but the caveat is that Mason, um, meets a point all the time we don't think enough choice where's for the rich in it, who are going to improve. Um, and we, we'll hopefully see that we're going about and we've seen it when I inject. So, um, anyway, I don't see it happening, whether I want or not, but, um, let's move on to what will be quite an interesting tone point in the night. Um, I'm going to have to eat a little bit of shit here. So cash of mine's backwards. Now what's up, but this is a lot. And the April and another 21 year old, you can be replaced. I'll be your sources. I'll tell you, I've been off the last three and a half months, and I'm still here. Oh dear. So, um, I, I've came out in the pod and said that we were, um, I, we were told that James Tavernier had agreed terms with another crop team of abroad, and it was done either the two crops, I agree. I did. So about five weeks away, here we are. Rangel's first week of the day making me look like a wanker again. So, um, what can I say? That's not, you know, in the morning news, we try and do something a while, but definitely from just what Keith Jackson, um, who Keith Jackson hates that day, um, and try and give you a actual stuff that's happening. Um, we've no put, we don't put anything down for quite a bit. Just sometimes we get it wrong. And I, I've sort of made an arse of it. So, um, on that note, David, um, it was like James Tavernier's here to stay. So, let's move quite a while in the way for me being, um, uh, being a typical MSM shortage journalist. And what does this mean for this world then? Um, is he your main repack? Is there a selling or what does this mean? I think the squad will be all for it. I don't think anybody in these nine years here, I've had an issue with them, um, or any problems. Um, it doesn't seem like the stereotypical leader in the old school sense, but I think behind the scenes and maybe taking younger guys under his wing on you guys, I think he's very well thought of in that sense from what I gather. Um, in terms of the fans, it's a different story. It's very much, um, you know, leave ASAP or glad that he's staying. Um, me personally, um, like, I wouldn't be devastated if I left, but I also wouldn't be pissed off. So he speaks if he, um, you know, if he stayed, he's got a part to play. Um, he has the captain, but I think he's going to see religious game time raises the question of, you know, if they're a point, a new captain, you know, someday it's going to be starting a big game, maybe proper. Um, you know, uh, could be proper, could be someday else or, you know, uh, to have a narrow keep it. I think it's safe to say even the manager themselves hinted that he's going to get a, you know, a reduction in appearances. Um, if we are, you know, if the fans are going to accept that, you know, maybe they don't see it as a compromise. Maybe I'll some, some will be pleased that he's simply just staying. But, um, in terms of impact on the squad, I think it's 100% positive out with, uh, it's a mixed bag, so to speak, um, you're saying that, you know, you're like a, a, a fanny by a, you know, your, your production, but I mean, you weren't alone, uh, if anything, you are from very much the majority. I think we all thought he was leaving. Um, for what I remember, the stumbling block was in him not wanting to go, but it was tabs on sport, offered 800 grand less than what we wanted. So I don't know what the fee was, but say, for instance, we wanted to free the offer to 2.2 something, you know, it was something like that anyway, that was the kind of the mass behind it was 800 grand. Um, I mean, if he helps us get a run in Europe, either, you know, reaching the Champions League or a run in the Europe of other than, you know, I guess he's helped make up for that 800 grand argument. But for me, um, I'd be fine when I'm staying. Um, I think his teammates will definitely be happy, especially the younger guys. Um, and yeah, I think probably those behind the scenes at the club who see the, you know, the effect that he's got on the kind of day-to-day proceedings at the club they'll like we'll be happy. Suppose it's obviously a different story, but, um, he's getting his testimony all year and, you know, you can see why he wants to stay settled here, he's getting kids at school and, um, you know, he's, well, he's obviously settled if he's been here many years. Um, but I, I think it, I'll be fine with that if he stays, but I can see the scene for the rest of my fellow supporters. Hi, and, um, I thank you for the gallant-view comments to me. Um, I will share some pretty soon. Thank you for their representation there, the dangerous fan base, and your sport, and they'll do it. And, and they'll come to you for the next point that, Tuesday or the day, I, I ended up being quite consistent with this where, um, I'm a, I'm a tough, um, boy, I do feel like, um, but I can see the day and the last season that it was time for him to go. I think Swodney did a really fresh, uh, Andy, I think you're not, uh, you, if you don't recognize where James Taave near can contribute to your Swod over this season, but I do think we would be nuts to rely on him as much as we did to know the last couple of years. So, I suppose, how do you see Clemente seeing it while he hangs out in the captain or while staring, being the first, first pick? It was, uh, an interesting time. Um, this, this summer, I say as if it's finished and we still got a wee bit of time to the end of the window. But I'd, I'd, I'd, looking back now, I don't know if I was too trigger happy or get everybody out, it's not good at all over. Because definitely there is cases where, yes, that player should be gone. I mean, I think it's got right. This, this is a good few years past these due dates, the majority of the support. Um, and Taave was slowly creeping up that list. There's a number one public enemy. Um, the thing that, that we always seem to talk about when there was the rumors and your, your, um, your incredible speculations that he was off, um, was how do you replace the goals and, um, are you happy with Duzion being your starting right back and having Adam Devine as a backup? Having that debate now mean nothing, as it stands that Taave will be here and Duzion's going to be here. I'm actually not too angry at those two being the options for the starting right back spot. I think, you know what Taave does give you. You know what he's no longer going to give you. And I think we all know what Duzion can bring us and maybe what he can't bring us. Because the, the best games with Duzion would be playing it right wing last season. And they, it wasn't very, it was all the, all the physical side of the game. We were thought we were doing really well at the, the running, um, you know, the occupying the spaces that they're giving, the opposition number I have time just because how athletic he is. But I didn't see as much of the attacking side of a wing I needs to be. Um, so I think that's put this pro, definitely pros and cons for both players. I think it's now going to be up to the manager to make a decision on how much trust can he have? Because as you've seen in the comment, there's one man that's going to give him a tough time. And we found that out Duzion made it. He's been the thorn and he said all season long last year. Can you have a line on him in the big game? It's a tough question. I had to have the answer to it. Um, Dylan, I think a major problem, there's been two major problems with James Tavern Hill. Um, and I'm not going to say as, um, his defensive abilities, because sorry, last night's I know he's don't like illness. If you want your field backs to defend and have four big guys who can't fuck with their attackers with other team, you need to understand there's no ladies anymore. The game has changed. And I do think in modern day football, where teams dominate the ball, the field backs, the owners are more than them getting up the pitch than defending like that. That's my taking it. So that would my, my should have had with us is A, there's not been an able deputy since Nathan Parsons, Duzion Seven, he's been about a side note, let's be honest. And we had to play him in midfield after that. Find the other problem, probably the bigger problem is when things get tough for Rangers, this, the core grip of Wales we've had for too long panic start playing the easy balls. And when they get a chance to cover the ball without captain, they go and do something. That's the biggest issue for me. The like time and time again, to have build a zoo. Not just penalties, like those, you know, out for from open play, taking away the penalties, it was like the fifth top goals shoulder last year, it was the set, had the city more success. He has a probably, you know, biggest attacking threat, Rangers needs to rely on him. Hey, I'm Ryan Reynolds. At Mint Mobile, we like to do the opposite of what Big Wireless does. My dad works in B2B marketing. He came by my school for career day and said he was a big row as man. Then he told everyone how much he loved calculating his return on ad spend. My friends still laughing me to this day. Not everyone gets B2B. But with LinkedIn, you'll be able to reach people who do. Get a $100 credit on your next ad campaign. Go to linkedin.com/results to claim your credit. That's linkedin.com/results. Terms and conditions apply. Linkedin, the place to be. To be. Yeah, yeah. So we're in the winner right now. That one I suppose is, huh? I am. So I'm a bit 50/50 on top. If I'm being brutally honest, I'll drive him to the airport right now if I could. Like if they offered me anything and they reached me $3.5 million, I'll drive him for nothing. I would pay him. Just take it on the flight. I think he's absolutely rotten this season. Like every preseason game he's looked like he's towing a caravan. He's looked at a breakfast. And then I watched him against a with a Robin Gossons who's no fast. Robin Gossons is an average paste winger. You know what I mean? No quick. You know, no days in the middle. If he comes up against days in the middle at the end of the month, or the beginning of September, may as well just, just not even watching it because he will get absolutely murdered then that side. Like it's not even a debate for me. Like he will get absolutely terrorized down that side for pace. And then we'll see the same goal happen that we've seen so many times. I mentioned it on the pod on Sunday. You know, though, this middle run down the wing, left football, or he'll come on his right because he's got that much time to squid it. Now it's happened. Like having here for all these good things, you know what I mean? Like I'll never forget his free kicks. He's been at his, you know, civil top scorer. You know what I mean? I love to have, but that was to have back then. This is to have now we're talking about, you know, you know what I mean? It's like Cristiano Ronaldo. Like he's, he's passed it now. You know what I mean? Like he's hit his decline. He's only getting, he's only going down. What an amazing player. And you can look at his amazing moments and he'll pull it all. You know what I mean? To have all still pull the amazing moments. If the free kicks, the penalties, you know, and maybe the odd screamer here and there. But what we need to think about is what you want for your right back. Like I want my right back to be solid. I don't want my right back to get terrorized off a winger. We absolutely no end product. You know what I mean? He just has an awful player. I've watched him absolutely god awful. Like the only thing he's got going for him is his pace. And I think Sterling takes a ball off him every single time. You know what I mean? And I know he's no, he's no good the the fitness, I suppose, you know, or they're kind of the reliability tab. But I'll take a, I'll take a half that's Sterling over tab every day the week. And he's current form. This is, I'm not talking about, to have way, you know what I mean? Like, I'm talking about this pre-season. I'm not talking about last season. You know what I mean? That's my opinion. I think, you know, you made a few good points. I think after the national uproar in the comments, more and more, lessons are starting to say that, you know, tab will be used sparingly or you'll be used as when needed. And I think that's filled with the best of both worlds as well. Because of world-based games where we dominate the ball and we need to attack in a way. It's the world-based games where we just need our pastel to be back and have to do John Sterling. I don't think there's anything wrong we have in horses for course, as long as there's no every game you're rotating, 11 different players, why that's the benefit of much more then. But I do think, just to show you to Gwen Alton what's not Gwen Brotherson who turns into Canada, he always goes as a wee message on Facebook after the shows. And, you know, before the tab, I do what he was actually wanting to say to shut up the night and he made a summer point of David at a book just hadn't been in and around the camp as we thought. It may be time to phase the mood, but it will still be good to have off the pitch. Because I don't think we see that enough. I don't think we play enough credit for it. We based on play whistle majorially or in what to do in 90 minutes in the Saturday, but there's a reason that it's been a captain. I think he does do a lot of the dirty work Monday Friday and then, you know, the stuff that doesn't make the headlines. That's maybe the best of both something who can help do that, help establish a new leadership group. But on pitch, we've grown definitely options. David, I'm great at coming on another contentious point. And before I do a massive thank you to Long-Term Western Ireland, subscribing in the YouTube membership page, Charles, who's donated £10 to the point tonight and putting a support comment. So, Charles, always love seeing you in 4-pop. We appreciate you supporting the point. No matter the nation. So, he's in there. So, sexing, he goes, he's pissed. So, okay, let's roll two goals against Union Berlin, who stayed up for playoff. And he hopes that we get Hannibal as well. Nothing on home because he wants to give him the feel. So, I think, I want to touch on a couple of comments that Charles has made there. He's absolutely made his force and feeling his career on vessels. Charles thinks he's pissed. I think the longer this window goes on, the worse way I see him moving on, if I'm being honest. I do think we need an hour's sake up. But I feel we expect him to start on Saturday. I think we're vessels a lot here. I think we'd be willing to sell at a decent price. But the issue is that he seems hell-bent on staying. For his comments, I mean, I know he's not going to come out and say that he's like, this joints and I ain't going to get me out. But at the same time, he does seem legit when he's saying that he, you know, he wants to stay in, he wants to contribute to next season. For me, I mean, again, it's, I'm not chasing him. I think he's capable of the vital goals. But he's no good that we need to, well, certainly when I like he doesn't have that consistency. I don't think he's going to, you know, perform on the big stage when it matters. I think personally, it would be best if we went and we spent the money on a striker or some of it, whatever, and, you know, put the rest here, midfielders, or whatever, the business side of things can be discussed later. But this was personally, I think, yeah, I think before the transfer window, I think he'll, I think he'll be for the off. I mean, he's not a Clement signing, but I mean, Clement's played him, you know, most games, but that's possibly because there's not much as a alternative. Perhaps when we have more upfront options, then he's either going to be benched, not playing, or, you know, listed for a, for a move. But yeah, I mean, he's, he's scoring record is decent. I wouldn't say he's a complete lost cause, but I think for our benefit and as it might be best just to, you know, move on. And so he's only got a season under his belt. If he's still here, post window then with the option, but to hope for the best, you know, in support of my suppose. But yeah, I can see him. I can see him. Maybe not next to the door, but definitely one of, in this window, we're not like actively touting him. I don't think that we'll definitely entertain off for as long as that, you know, either money back or, you know, moderate profit. And I want to come to you for the next point. I think there's some comments from him saying that then there will be two away from him inside. And I think they'll probably, and I think the jury is soloing him to be fair. But so there's a lead in the rain and Saturday. I think we've spoken with us over the last year and we've probably been a bit back and forth on it. But does he get a hard time there, right in one hand, he's wrote some big goals. He's been a top goal stroller, and other hand, he's messed up a lot of chances and sometimes he just falls over for more reason. But what's your take on Andy? Hey, the reason that we go back and forth on it is because he goes back and forth and being either the long lost child of online Ronaldo or a lost child. That's, that's, that's cereal vessels. And it's no surprise that we can go and say, oh, he's absolutely superb. The goal against Bitties in the Europa League last season. That is the best of cereal vessels. Then you've got Man United at Morrifield. That is the worst of cereal vessels. And it's just going back and forth, peaks and troughs. Good, bad, good, bad, good, bad. And that's where the issue is. You've got, you know, I know people who don't like to do this, but I, I find that, you know, your enemy is good, you know, yourself and you never go wrong. Look across at them in our season. Key ago, didn't have a particularly brilliant season, but it was still effective. And then they brought an either, which also he found them in the net, you know, they, they just seemed good. I mean, there's, you'd pick a handful of games and you go, this was maybe good in that game, but in that game, he was awful, we were stinking. It shouldn't have been anywhere near the park. That's the issue. It's, it's the lack of consistency in his game, which makes them not the answer long term. They're backing everything myself from the park. Of course I do, because I want, I want him to find that consistency, because if he can find that consistency, he'd be a good player. We've seen how good he can be. But the fact that we're just, he's not getting that extra 5, 10% in max sharpness to be the top top guy. I did my best not to, not to go overboard that more if you, because I wasn't sitting in my usual sheet of eyebrows. I know, I know who I sit around the eyebrows. I can swear I can say what I want. So we were in front of me at eyebrows, at a Murray Field, we's mum. I did my best to keep the language. I really, I really, I'm just saying that Wayne was sitting in front of you. Sorry. I, I, I can hear by that one slap. I did my best to keep my language to, is, as clean as I could. But when he overpassed the ball to mittondo and then blamed mittondo, I lost my mind. I lost my mind at them. And I sat with my head, my hands, the next 10 minutes, it was, it was, it was, it was. Do you know, love that a bit on butt, because we'll slay him all day long. He fancies himself every game and I'm not certain to be admired there. It's, it's, it's, it's the, what I refer to as the Todd Cantwell syndrome. He is the best player. Todd Cantwell is the best player in Todd Cantwell's world. That, that is, that is a long in the short of it. Sidio Desser can do no wrong in Sidio Desser's world. But we don't live in that world. That's the issue. He lives in it. We don't, and that's why we have these conversations every Thursday night, Sunday night, until end of time. Um, I'm going to go back to the other party, Charles, he's pointing out that he made Dylan, um, in the start of the year. So he's saying that he's not a fan of the rumors of Hannibal. And I find we that speak about the, the midfield options on Sunday, where I find it probably that we sell what is right now, because at that point, we need to 10 and a half, we need to cycle. Um, the Hannibal, I don't know anything about him. I, or I know as, he was saying for man, you're putting money, but one doubt is if he doesn't, they walk up from the field with the manager is what you're left in his deal. He's, you know, quite a creative, dynamic midfielder, probably something that we don't have now that Todd Cantwell has gone out and yeah, and it's hard to anyway, anyway, it'd be seen, told more than I know you don't live, or you don't think he's the option, uh, this year. So the boy Hannibal, if you're man, you, wish your thoughts. Uh, yeah, I don't really don't want to say. I think he's a whole pilot through some language shit. Um, and I wouldn't, I wouldn't be putting him at 10 castle. Um, I'd rather play Leon Balg in there. Um, and yeah, Hannibal, I would, uh, yeah, I think he's all right. Um, the only problem with Hannibal is he's a bit, yeah, but yeah, not her. Um, and I think he's a combustible substance. Um, in terms of getting ready Todd Cantwell, and I think he's an auto Todd Cantwell, like he's quite, quite a flammable guy in terms of like, if the type of guy that could, like, rep a change on him up, if he didn't take that, um, he went in his area and looked within the first couple of weeks, it fell out with a manager, you know what I mean? Like, in Clermont's one of these people, like, if you fall out with him, I think he would just bin, bin him quite quickly. So are you willing to take that risk where you're going to sign this Hannibal? And, you know what I mean? And then, if I was it with Clermont, you know what I mean? Like, I don't know if he's the answer, especially at 10. Um, if we were going to get a 10 in, I'd want us to get some day dynamic, someone similar to Todd Cantwell in terms of, you know, it's good that dynamic creativity about him. Um, I think Todd Cantwell was very creative, that's even. Um, and it's sad to see him go to on his way, me personally, because I like him and I rate him. Um, but listen, if he's no, if he starts knowing it for Rangers, I'll see you later. You know what I mean? Like, I don't want, I don't want to have her as in my club, and I don't want people that, that talk absolute rubbish online and trying wine people up and then turn in sub-par performances and then turn up when you feel like it and turn up in a meaningless old firm. Like, nah, it's to work like that. You know what I mean? And that's what I mean, and that's similar view to me with Tom Lawrence, for the people who had never joined in on Sunday. You know, I think it's too, too often I see him walking about, and he just, he walks about and then when he does track back, he just gives the way stupid feels. And the thing about giving the way feels, and you're in defense of half, like, a lot of teams in Scotland in the lower half of the table will use that against you. You know what I mean? They'll send up the big Burnley 6-8-5-7-5, so like, break people's next to get, to get a heater on the ball. So, that's my problem with Tom Lawrence as well. So, you've kind of, you've touched on an interesting point or an the type of popular that Hannibal was in the grave, or he's maybe not as dynamic, just told Campbell, sorry. And David will come at you, like, there's been a lot of chat amongst fans all in style that come amongst the way of what the attributes that we want to see, what should we prioritize at the start of the summer, again, still roll after the Cup final, I wanted energy, I thought it says on physicality, and even said, if that means we need to move it a few number 10s and have a more industrialist midfield, and I'm going back to, you know, maybe talk of it, maybe use the way Kevin Thompson, Barry Ferguson, and like, yeah, and a lot, maybe a fat three. I think we maybe had the best of both models when we had the right Jack, Kimana, and Davis, who were all mobile, all physical, but could play the ball as well. I don't know if I've got to get a midfield full of players that can do both. So, I would still feel more comfortable players that I set around, if we have, I don't know, if we have more of a score R field than a toy camera, if you get what I'm saying, just a bit more physicality for some thoughts. Yeah, I do agree. I think whether it's Hannibal or some day else, the midfield need another edition. Obviously, there's several midfielders that can go where, you know, not even as much as our, you know, an afterthought by most of us. We have previously amongst us on, you know, different podcasts with different panellists. We have consistently said that during preseason, we haven't saw any indication of what the tactical plan is going forward. We don't, we haven't seen that there are, you know, any sort of coherent unit that's communicating well, there's no energy, there's no dig. Which, again, I know it's preseason, but there's not been, like, even the nearest hint that things have changed since last season. It might be, you know, it might be kind of waiting to pull the trigger on that when we get the other midfielder, get a striker. I don't think we'll be getting another winger. I don't think it's much of a requirement, but once he gets, once he actually stamps his blueprint on the team in terms of who he actually wants him, what he wants them to do. And we don't really know, sorry, tactically where we're going to end up. In terms of the Hannibal sign and I'm all for it, I've very much softened to him since the news broke. I was on record on the podcast is kind of dismissed them immediately. I think me, Andrew, had said it's a new, and you're silver, which, in retrospect, was a bit hasty. I'm not saying he's the answer. No saying he's going to, you know, be great. No saying he's going to go down as a legend. There is issues there that he does seem a bit alive while. So, you know, I can see him getting multiple red cards at Celtic Park, for instance, maybe two or three when they pitch in a couple in the tunnel just to even it up. But no, I think I would be all for it if he signed, but as it stands, no, I've not got my harps set on him, but I'm certainly more open to it as I was initially. I think the fact is we're doing the damage field, we've got a good base to build on with the O'Mandy and Barren. But there is still a missing link there. Tom Lawrence, as I've said before, I think he's got a part to play, but not on a consistent level and not on a, you know, possibly a regularly game-changing level. So, yeah, there's definitely a space for someone to come in and change things. But, yeah, I just don't know. I don't have, you know, allister suggestions who are better than Hannibal, or even allister suggestions, period. However, it's quite a little bit obvious that we need some day in there, hopefully another centre back in a striker as well, but yeah, one step at a time. And that's how I know, you know, we're going ahead to Saturday, and well, we still have options, we can argue how good all these options are. We'll go play, I mean, we've been running the way back, I guess, and I know we've known, spoke a bit about Rochi, I know you had a fan, but, you know, like, there's a lot of, there's a lot of maybes, and that's going to be the last point then. So, they'll end there, but usually through the season, every live scene, we round up with a prediction for the next game. Obviously, there's no game coming up, and it's, what are they, they're giving him that day, it'll be a man of the match. So, we're going to kick off, and they started the first game of the season, 12-30, live in Sky, 10-cast, we're typically a tough away, if that's your, but at the same time, let's not see these guys like the Real Madrid. What is your prediction? Yeah, I, I seen during the week, on Twitter, it was the flashback to the Livingston season opener, a couple of years ago, we had to have any after we kicked off, we would flick on to win it from behind after a joinably dinked dinked dinked day. I remember the game vividly, because I was coming back from my shift at being cute at the time, and thinking this could be a long season, there's, there's no big dinked dinked dinked day, I went this could be a long season. Um, I have a feeling that we will concede first again, similar to that game, I think it was Shanky, Lauren Strankland will score, um, for hearts, because as a straight guy does that sometimes. Um, I can see he's not throwing our new guys in too early, I think, I don't think she'll know we'll play. Um, I don't think he'll start at least, I can see he is, rather disappointingly, and, well, not to me, because I don't mind either, for going with my tondo right behind Dersos. Um, which might kill the dangerous fans on social media when I get to announce, but I can see he's going with that, because I don't think Cortez is ready, and I think he has looked slow, and it looks like someone who had the major injury last season, which is completely fair. Um, and I don't know how up this beach journey will be, and I can see him going for my tondo and right. I think we can just well win two, one, somewhat to that, the Livingston's goal line. And I will say that Celia will find in it, um, don't know how to score that. I'll go for the Mandy, who I think is going to have a real good season. Uh, that's been one of the kind of shining lights, him and Byron, through preseason, I think the year will be superb this year. So we have a two, one for Mandy. Uh, Dylan, get me your prediction on how Saturday will go. Um, you, bear in mind, this is recorded. So, you know, we, we, we, we, we, you may work out genius jumps out of the afternoon, or you might work with me, because I didn't have the, but it's growing, but it's all part of the fight. I'm going to, I think we might scale parts. They didn't look too great in preseason, so I'm going to say four now Rangers. I think this is a score two. Um, and these two goals will have combined 20 touches, um, 10 each in the books. It'll be every man in the books, now we're joking, but, um, no, I do think we'll, we'll beat them four nothing. Um, I, I do think this is all score. I think, uh, Corner Baron will score. Um, who else? I think Lawrence might score, even though I've literally slated the guy. And, uh, I think, I'm going to steal, uh, shirts, uh, Churney, uh, Churney will steal the show. I think he will. Um, so I'm saying four now Rangers. Um, for me, it might be false confidence, but that, uh, Union Berlin game gave me a bit of a shot in the air, um, a bit of attack and play, and what we could do be the correct silence. Um, I think Robin Proper will start, and I think Dojo and Sterling will start, and Yomas, and then it'll be basically the same team, Minus, uh, Chair, uh, whoever played, I kind of remember who played in the right against Union Berlin, Minus, him, for, uh, Churney. But I think it'll be pretty much the same team that played Union Berlin, just adding Yomas Proper and Sterling. There we go. So we've got a four now one. David, are you, are you right joining with a year for optimism or film? Um, as have a different. Joining with the optimism, uh, just watered down a bit, um, if I have to predict it, and I think it might be that, uh, Dylan ends up in prison for, uh, purpose for resetting about Churney, do you want to start doing your phone by his comments? I think that's, I think that's all done. Get your mortgage on that young Dylan to get a present sentence. Um, um, however, what I'll say is I'm going to go with three two, and I'll go into specifics as well, just to, uh, increase my, uh, uh, humiliation come three, have three on Saturday. Uh, I'm going to say three two rangers. I'm going to say Dessels, um, Diamat, sorry, Diamat and David Proper, uh, Robin Proper, uh, we are a bullet header. I'm going to go with two assists for Churney and, uh, the Dessels goal will be him finally, uh, being successful and has eternal attempts to walk it into the net from, uh, anywhere between 40 and 50 yards. Um, so yeah, that's my specific prediction, but, um, yeah, I'll go with three two, or the risk, I'll just, you know, if they haven't, which I'm sure they will, then you can give me bonus points. Well, before my prediction, too, staff, thank you to all the listeners and, um, and all the poders as well. Um, thank you to everybody who's involved again. If you do want more crayon, then find us on Patreon and the YouTube members page. Um, and I've gifted five three members, chefs, say five four who have grown involved in the YouTube comments today. So thank you as always. Gents, I'm going to go four or two. Um, I think, uh, one for Dessels, two for TAV, yep, TAV will be playing and, um, I scroll a week on a bad and, um, I think rangers will defend pretty well, um, up until hearts play an easy run ball and, I don't know, John, so although, hi, he's racist. Um, so four, two, uh, I find we've got goals in us and I find, yeah, we've got goals against this. Um, but that'll do us for tonight, folks. Um, again, thank you all very much for listening. Always left to do is find my three guests, aren't we? And they find very much for coming on, mate. No, but I'm so happy to be back, um, happy for the season to be rolling back round again, happy until about half three Saturday, as we mentioned, and then just resigned to this long, long season. Yeah, absolutely. Um, we, we wouldn't have changed it for the world, would we? Down in another solid effort tonight, mate. Um, I hope you don't get a jail with the weekend I do. Thank you for coming on. Hi, uh, thanks for getting me on, mate, NFA, you don't even hear from me. Uh, you might see footage of me, uh, of me on social media, grapple in Tarvin, Ireland, Shankland. Uh, you might just see a newsline that, uh, probably during your kids, uh, kidnap Tarvin, Ireland to come to the airport. Um, but thank you for calling for getting me on. I do appreciate it and, uh, appreciate all the comments as well. I love you all. Last, by no means least, David, find so much for coming on tonight, my friend. No, our problems are, uh, burowing is always to, uh, join in, uh, had a really good discussion with the three of you and the comments were, um, were excellent as well. Um, I, uh, very much enjoyed it. Uh, I know that I've came across as optimistic with my production, but I'll take anything. As someone said in the, uh, comments, they will take a scrapery, a scrapery one now, uh, as a result of your energy. If that gets us three points, bring it on, give me, um, an every game after that. I don't care. Uh, but no, I think we'll get off to a good start. I think cards will go ahead, but I think they'll take the lead and be able to sell and put three past them. All right. Well, if it's one, not another, four, not in there, we'll be here in Sunday night. I thought I better. So thank you all less than once again and have a crack and we can't hope your team wins.
