Speed slower above 40 gigabytes of CDT. Good morning, folks. Welcome to the Gallant Fuse Daily News for first day of 25th of July, 2024. My name's Colin. I'm delighted to be joined by David today. How are you, my friend? Ah, not bad, my man. Not bad. Who's yourself? Oh, right, mate. Oh, right. I'm in a non-rangeal sense. My life is good for them, but yesterday that it's bringing me the nail for me, but not a first half. We'll run through the all these through the last 24-year-olds, but it's just quite clear. What was your thoughts in that game, David? I'd kind of forgot about it until you mentioned it. I thought our very brief. There's nothing positive to mention as far as I remember. I think, by six-day money, it's pretty much put me into a coma. It's only pre-season, young guys getting a chance, some people playing that might not be here, etc. With the vitae, I've seen some sort of progression on the game a few weeks ago. We're opening game, but same old, same old for the Indian, unfortunately. Hi, and I feel snappy. Cremont's press, or afterwards, I was trying to make a biography on hand. I have some equations about the tactics in the first half versus setting staff, and Cremont said, "Well, same tactics, it's just intensity and the movement and the bold control. Where's the day on the first half?" It was quite scathing. Again, we knew that it was always really being that I was starting to love him. The young boys, the French wheels, I feel like getting the first run out, but I don't know. I'm working ahead to the last-season game, and so are they. I've not seen anything give me hope as of yet. No, that's the second. I'm no expecting this to come out and put seven past them and spray the ball about the ease and, you know, defend Goliath. I know that the players we played last night, a lot of them either won't feature going forward or they'll just simply not be here. If anything, we actually played better all those games ago against the standards rather than start off showing some signs of development, communication, having some sort of cohealing system. But it remains to be seen. As I say, there's one positive and it's not really about the game, but as I spin off from what we would call the game, again, is that there is at least movement both in and out. So, I mean, that's something at least cling to. But let's be honest, it's not exactly a massive reward, is it? If I'm just going to be playing the same, regardless of who we bring in. But it's right now, I'm just right there. I think we can dismiss it. It's only pre-season. But I would be lying to both of us. You know, at least like in the film. Now, I find that a lot positive just before we're here, don't know the stories of the movement would be kind of bad and worth buying up for it. It will no be hard when you're playing a line side, that kind of performance. But no, he's all decent in pre-season, I must say. I should correct myself, actually. His performance was encouraging, as it has been every game he's played. He looks up for it, one minute, he's in his own box, the next minute, he's, you know, busting forward. He's kind of everywhere. So, yeah, that was, when he signed, I thought, well, you know, he'll appear eventually at some point this season. But at the moment, it looks, regardless of who we're saying, it looks like he'll be, he'll be starting for he own. He's one that I hope stays fit. I'm in the O'Mandy, I think they'll, I think they'll develop a decent partnership, an understanding, and whoever else is in the midfield. I'm not really sure if we're going to go where defensive midfields are behind them, but an anchor, or if we're going to keep the O'Mandy where he is, and install another, as like, you know, that number 10, fell in the hole. But at the moment, yeah, he's definitely the, one of the very few positives. So, yeah, just to backtrack slightly, yeah, I agree with you, he was definitely, he was definitely something to look forward to as the season approaches. Hi, and I'm pretty sure I've seen him talk already. There's a lot arc that says I'm going to feel him come on to me. But I'm really glad that we're going to get this due because we've grown more solid updates for a more than recently than we have for John Bennett. So, that attains us in any of the news stories. Before the game, he said, they kind of goes and boils due to a start and play the game yesterday. But there's a concrete offer for films, so he's allowed to me go and speak with the team. He can go back and speak with that team. So, I do. I do. He didn't mention the club, but all the stories and reports are pointing to Cyprus, David. So, we know that there's a concrete offer somewhere. It's kind of always happy for me to go and speak to the club. Rangers are obviously happy with what's on the table, which is near what they call in their goals and put plenty of people. Yeah, just to go back slightly, just to reiterate exactly what you said. Clement has been transparent with the fans. He's been up front. He's been honest. Sometimes, I say things that artists must roll off the scent, but maybe cover up something, you know, something more in depth. But at the same time, I've got no complaints about that side. Technically, yes, it remains to be seen. But at the moment, he's been as honest as he can be. But yeah, the movement in and out in terms of goals, I've said already on the pod is that I believe it's time for them to go. I believe he showed signs of regression. If it is, we must all, artist, we must all, it will be quite a massive investment for them going by the business well from scratch up until, you know, right now. So I hope it's a clean break. I hope there's no none of us, like, you know, paying a percentage of these wages for the end of his contract, nothing like that. But yeah, it seems I go, whether it's ours or somebody else, whether it's someday, someday or so. I'd seen a few mentions that it might actually be bombing them. But yeah, I think it's, it's a positive definitely. I don't have any skating, I think, other than, you know, cheers for the service and it's time to go, really. But yeah, it would probably, it might not be first on my list to go, but it certainly not one that I would say I could never end the fifth stage. It's definitely his time, if I'd been honest. Ah, yeah, I think how we can reinvest the goals and wages will be massive. And the next world we come here as well. I mean, we've got to come to Camwell, we've got to touch on llamas, too. We've brought guys like Haji, maybe even Tom Orleans, even Tarv and Neil. If we really even get four lures, six out of the door, that's north of 100 grand, well for wages, David there, waiting to reinvest. And that's, Rangers have targets lined up. It is just paying no wages. It's the difficult part because we've got the biggest wage bill in Scotland, so, and there's no getting any, it's no getting any more. One thing I can take that I'm rather hopeful about is the fact that, I mean, I kind of come in on performances. I know the players were linked with, I'm not 100% cleared up on them, but I know the basics. However, one thing I would say, I think we can be positive about is as soon as one leaves, someone else is going to come in. The way the manager's talking is that I think we've done the business side, but we just need to get the income, the contract, as soon as we get the green light financially. So, yeah, that's something it can at least be reassured about. I don't think we're going to lose four or five players and open the season where, you know, five guys we've never seen before, we've come in for the B team or something. I think there will be suitable replacements in place, but there's going to need time to jail and blend in. And the season is the season especially, dictating that we really need to take it out and run in. So, hopefully, it's one in, one immediately in. And, say they're on it, it's just kind of, you know, hope they get up to speeds as much as as much as as reasonably possible. No, yeah, the kind of touchstone that they are, the next player will come in, Phillip come on and say the post-match, that I'm aware I go toward Canwell, come in his office and say they wanted to work for another adventure and make another step. So, we said we had a big, long talk because we have a good relationship. I told him, "I'm really sorry to think really well about it because Rangers is a fantastic club and I would give him time." But he came back to say that he wants, that that's what he wants. So, he has to focus on the moment, all the players who are here in the building with the minds to play in August, they play the qualifying games and their games when they find solutions at the number 10 position. So, David, I am not surprised, nor am I particularly disappointed. I just hope that this means we don't get under caught photo at Canwell. He has a terrible asset, but I'm not worried that he has to say it all through pre-season. I wouldn't be surprised and I wouldn't be disappointed if he waves Rangers and it turns out he's, he's feeling the same as me. I'm thinking with his occasional signs of immaturity, I'm wondering by new adventure, he meant like a day to yourself placing up. How about, yeah, I wouldn't be, I've got absolutely no issues with him even. Again, just to repeat myself, I do appreciate the manager's clarity on that and up for an approach to just saying he's asked to leave like him as a player, had that she asked him to think he still wants to go and that's where we are. That's nothing there that we can pinpoint and say, well, he could have clarified such and such, being totally honest. In terms of the player, yeah, if he wants to go, then just let him go. I'm not really sure if this is true, but from what I've read, both media wise and general supporters, I think he can have done the same at Norwich. If he didn't expect the dummy, he kind of, he wasn't popular, shall we say. I think he can have ended up demanding a move and obviously we got him, but yeah, apparently he's got previous for it, so it's not really something we can afford to have is an ego of someday demanding the dressing room revolves around them with a list of requirements. Let him go and see how he gets on, but again, I don't invent really bad to say about him in terms of his ability. On his day, he's a valuable player on the pitch, but it's just his day doesn't come as regularly as a way of light. That's the big thing for me as, and I don't want to say attitude as a farm, a shorty child, governor, a petal and child in trouble, but I find this season as well as talent on the pitch and as well as physical availability, we need a change in mentality and we need to add so that we do a ship coming in and some employers who are there for the dogfight and I just don't get up here and I never have. And that's not just on the social media. It's very easy. It's very easy to point at your social media and say, "Oh no, he's a celebrate." And I go when we do it to each and whatever and anything. But it's just, I don't know how it carries themselves. When the chips are down, I don't quite see. I don't see that blood in front of me. I'll be guaranteed. Well, I can't even dispute that. It will go on and do well at another quarter, I'm sure. But I think this is just best for all parties. Well, he has, and Gavin, I mean, it's in doubt. He's a great asset. But what detracts from that is the complete absence of, or at least what appears to be, a complete absence of hunger, desire, determination, grit, bravery, you know, all of those. The social media thing actually doesn't bother me. I think, like, when players are on their own time, just do what you want, post what you want. It's within reason, obviously. But yeah, that whole thing doesn't bother me. A lot of people are like, "Oh, he needs to get off that Instagram." And I'm like, "Where he's trained for the day?" And he's either in the house, or he's doing something that's on his own. He's off the clock, basically. You know, that's something that doesn't affect me or, you know, really bother me in the slightest. But on the pitch here, if it was, then he's one that I would be demanding a quite major improvement for in terms of, as you're saying, maybe not attitude in terms of, you know, scolding him, but show some sort of hint that he's, you know, he's up for the fight, he's game, and he's willing to just, like, get the head down and batter in. That's not what I seem not sincere, I used to. It's, he's one that I know that we're going to be upset if he goes elsewhere, which it looks like should not rather than let us hear you will be. Yeah, so hopefully we can get them out of the door quite quickly. If we're not, we're going and just free up our, you know, our but our flexibility for, for we've come on and getting players in. Some animals start naturally that he's very close to taking the deal. We have C20 as a backup and running, two to Mark Carter, the Dutch media out where we're reporting yesterday, so it's very, very close. Again, we won't go over that. We've, we've run over this three things a week, every week for three season that you've caused. So hopefully that is a goal and the three players that we've mentioned, well, of course, I can't wait to be able to be able to speak. And then we can work up players coming in. David, I choose, I have no answer saying this in the notes, apologies if I've got to go out there. But I've seen Spanish journalist Fernando Serrano has reported last night saying that Rangers are very close to green terms with severe for Juan Jordan. And this will see Rangers paying just over 40% of Juan Jordan's wages. So this is someone that we spoke about the last quarter of each when the remorse first broke. He's a competitive midfielder. He's won the Europa Week. He's played well over 300 games and Spanish top three. Maybe he's that experience. I don't think he's, I don't think it's an embarrassment to be forced out of the severe team with the quality they have. If we can get this over the line, I think that's instantly improved so fast to live in that. Yeah, definitely. If we think, I would be excited. I mean, I do have been away around for a few years. Only since I went to a severe rate, and I've not followed his career or anything. But, yeah, since I joined severe, I've seen him play a good few times. He can tackle, he can spray the ball about, he doesn't appear to go missing. And I think putting him as the linchpin in midfield would be, it would be a very, very shrewd move and it would be a very wise move. Whether we get him permanently after that, I don't know. But even for a season, what is a transitional season for a lot of new players coming in and a lot of young players, he's exactly what we need in the middle. He's got experience, he's got that fight. If we're flagging, he can take the midfield or the game by this graphite's neck. He won't be afraid of getting hacked off the defenders and general teams up here. And yeah, he'll be exactly what we need. If one goes out again, just what I said earlier, I'm thinking that he's going to come in immediately because there does seem to be a lot of movement there. It's been rumbling on too long for it to be completely fabricated. So I think, yeah, I think as soon as one leaves, he's going to be in quite swiftly. He's got the experience we need, definitely. And it's a no brainer for me. Does he? I mean, I can't agree more. I think it's just he post gaps, what we don't have. And he just brings quality in as well. Did you see, over the last couple of days, the rumours about back life journey as well? I did yeah, yeah. What was your thoughts on that story? Yeah, I think again, that's our exciting signing. I would hope there's an option to buy at the end of it because apparently all I've seen mentioned is a season long run. However, if it's alone, in our own only, I'm still taking it. You know, I'd bite their hand off at the offer. He has a Britain that we're missing again. I'll be in a different sense from Hoan Jordan, but let's face it, we're missing out. So yeah, he'll plug another gap. He'll throw definitely for a rather gaping hole. He's, I believe, I've seen he prefers an enswinger because he plays in the right, but he's left a left footed. The brief glimpses I've saw of him recently. He likes an enswinger, so but it will definitely fill a void on the right hand side. Scores goes as well. Let's get paid. He can, you know, he can spot a cross opportunity and he'll improve his massive weight if, you know, if we get it over the line. As I say, the only disappointment would be if there's not, you know, an option at the end of it. I don't think that will happen with Jordan simply because I believe he's 70, 80 a week. We're churning. I'd like to think there's something realistic at the end of it, but if not, then fair do's. We need players in that can hit the ground running it and if that's won, then so be it. Yeah, I think back where I've churned. We've both signed up for 10 million, you know, last year, then there's no quick work to, but it's still my four goals and 22 appearances. And I'm just looking at his stats for his time in the area the Visor were between both 20 and Dia. So in 95 games, in the area the Visor is throwing 21 goals with 22 assists as well. So for Alina, you're contributing to a goal every set in game that we haven't had that written in any other attackers in a long, long time. You know, he can play in the rear, the left, he's still young like he's, he's probably 27 on top of us all while not signing on an agent hero here. I'd really like the profile of this guy mainly because he's got rhythms in his numbers. Definitely. I think in terms of the appearances and for Wellesburg, most of those, I think the only total like 900 minutes, I believe, so most of them were from the bench or being, you know, subbed off. So yeah, when you look at it that way, it's the four goals. It's actually not bad because it really works out at 10 games. I'm all for him coming here. I'm all for him being regarded as a, you know, a must pick. I think he's got what it takes to improve his both domestically and in Europe. Again, if you see he's not, you know, can I, it's, it's not teaching an old dog new tricks. He's got his best days ahead of him, but he's still very experienced. It was at the Euro, he was just there, although I don't think he was a regular feature, but he did play. And yeah, I think that's sort of signing, whether it's loan or whatever. It's definitely working on leading the right hand side as an issue that leads addressed. I think it's safe to say that he would address it quite suitably. Well, here's hoping that by the morning morning when we're doing the last new show of the week, we've got some nice new shine, they set in myself and Bill can talk about, and that would be a lovely a few listening rangers. But I think all going is to close for today. And thank you to all the listeners for listening as always. If you can give the like a subscribe, which is pointing to the shoulder drop yesterday, where I sat them with a fan advisory board and ran through what they've been up to. That's past year and what they may do on the next year, then knocking the thoughts and how they'll roll plays out. So, some are a bit different if you want to go and listen to that. But if not, just have a crack and play the eve. David, always a pleasure speaking to you, so always mate. Likewise, buddy. It's, as you say, hopefully tomorrow we are going, we're switching the cameras on and you'll see the, you'll see the effort lessons pouring at us. Oh, that's news. We've got positive news. We've got to talk a bit. But if no, there's always the San Juan or Sago. Absolutely. That's what it will always be the other backup. But have a cracking day, everybody. And we'll speak to you again soon. Take care guys. [Music]
