[MUSIC] [MUSIC] [MUSIC] Hello folks, happy Thursday evening and welcome back to the Gallant View Live. Have a happy, every Thursday as regular as rangers just been announced in the summer, they just go hand in hand. My name's Colin. I will be your host this evening and we're a dynamic duo tonight. I'm joined by Andy Stewart. How are you tonight, mate? Yeah, not bad calling my bad almost Friday almost the weekend, which means it's almost that time for us to put on the tops and go and support the gels, a bit of a longer trek than usual, but we'll make the journey. I'm sure it'll be a good time until the whistle goes and we get gobbed, but until then, I'm sure I'll have a lot of fun. Yeah, looking forward to it and happy to be back on. Speaking about a lot of fun, I'm hello to all the listeners who are already in the comments sent in the live chat. Always good to see the same names pop up and get involved. Of course, hello to everybody who's listening and watching after the fact, as always, I call my arms. Finds the like, I subscribe, I follow, whatever you need to do, whatever platform, helps support us massively. And if you are extra keen for a pound of money on Patreon or YouTube, you can get extra content as well. So do that. You know, it makes sense, especially when we have shows titled Summer Sam. Andy, you've already created something up there. Also, I take credit for everything that happens in the pod and none of the blame for when it goes on, but you're one native, the pod is for that cat to be named tonight, aren't you? I mean, I had actually made that graphic when it was still at Utrecht alone, because I was saying that we really should be bringing them back this season. I don't know how many people would agree with me on that one. You know, far and wide, some of my pitches for players and getting involved are, you know, you're in my toindomania and, you know, the Hamdenman has got right. But I think Summer Sam just felt right. And I think actually, I was sitting, where was I actually sitting? I was on my lunch break actually, I just came to me. And then, I think because of Summer Slam as it was coming up and WWE and I just put it together, but I was, it's one of my better ones. I didn't make it most of the kind of thumbnails and stuff, and some of them are quite good. Some of them are quite rubbish. I think the Haji one the other week was quite a, I just kind of like, take a look and see if it works with the kind of hairband, the hair on it. But there's Summer Sam one was quite nice, I think. Well, we've enjoyed it, and obviously, if the listeners enjoy it, then I'm taking our artistic ownership of the podcast. If you don't like it, then it was all Andy. It was all Andy. But I stuck with Sam Lamos, we spoke about him this morning on the news, and there's a few individual players that we've got to get to tonight, and one person individual, in particular, really doing it around in the comments tonight, that'll be a good talking point. Sam Lamos Rangers are trying to best to get shot of him, and that means he's been, he's been sent to the beat him, they go and swim it with the youngsters. And yeah, I do get the idea of, I forced a moment from that, he's running around in his career. That's what, that's what the message is to players when minds will do something to get out of this. And if you don't go elsewhere and play football, then you won't get another chance. We've got to get us, spend a year in the sidelines. Equally, this tells the football world that we are desperate to get rid of them. And A, it doesn't make Sam Lamos appealing, and B, if he is appealing, then they don't really want to stomp up much money for them, are they? My whole thinking process behind Sam Lamos being chucked out the door, I don't know, my whole thing with him was Samo Tahaje, but I was thinking, you know, give him a proper appreciation onto the manager, and see who maybe, see if they work, see if they maybe are given a new kind of lease of life under the manager. I know Sam had a very, very thinking of the word here. I'm going to just sleep here, you know, stint on the bill, and subsequently going to loan out, it was better when he was away from the club, found a good score in touch. And at that point, we were kind of struggling to score ourselves, so it felt kind of almost right that, you know, if we have other areas to strengthen in the summer, and we need to, you know, prioritize our spending in certain positions, keeping Lamos as an option could be something that the manager will look at. But I don't know, definitely that looks like from the, getting chucked in the B team, the fact that we went to Holland, and I've played against sports standard, and I'm now in Lamos, there's been no one near the other team, which suggests that he isn't part of the man, just planned, and we're definitely trying to punt him. I don't know what playing him in a B team game does for putting him in the short window, I think it doesn't help, even the fact that, I don't think we didn't do anything that game, and I think he'd missed a set or something like that, and they'd said, I don't think that helps our cause in terms of having a right to kind of demand a transfer fee for him that we might want, but it's just no ideal, and I think that's becoming a phrase that we're getting almost too used to seeing this pre-scene and over the kind of summer break. I just don't have the confidence, I mean, or almost cerebral assets, can it be sold right now, and how have we got here and said we're on cerebral asset, and I just have the bad feeling that the fastest September is going to come around, and some Lamos are still going to be here. That's no ideal, if you ask me whether that's what I speak, I would have said there's no ideal, no if he's still here on the fastest September, it's absolutely terrible because we've got a player who's short of confidence, he knows the manager does not rate him one eye order, and he's taking up a very hefty wage bill. It's very hard to try and get a tune in a player we got, and build that back up, and incidentally, I don't quite buy into the amount of, there should be criticism, tell you what the players we got, yes, but the amount of criticism players we got get, it's no there for, I probably range with stupid enough to offer them extra money. I've said this before, I work for money, I don't have the opportunity to afford the goodness of my heart, and if I don't have any affiliation with the club of wafers, the company I work for, I'm going to take them for every set of gold, that's just me, I don't know how much it's been about to money-oriented now. No, I mean it's in football nowadays, I mean you get ridiculous amounts of money getting chucked at players, so you know what, in an ideal world you want to take as much money as you can get, you know, it's business, end of the day, football stopped becoming a sport and it became a business, and the players are just as in it for themselves as the clubs are, and that's just the nature of the beast now. So, Alarmers have been no different, they are, I don't know, Ruth's, for example, the last couple of seasons where he's not been featuring with injuries and stuff, and we can't punt them, so he's just going to sit on the bench, or in the doctor's room and pick up his paycheck, and that's how it is. I might roll into that first game of the season, I've started to see people into what are going with them, if this team, if X, Y, and Z are still here, and if it's out in 11 the first game of the season, we're in real trouble. I do agree, as I do think, that hasn't been as big a rebuild as I thought it would be, and I think it definitely shows either how slammed up against financial fair play we are, or the fact that, you know, other things, of course, there's more than we wanted it to, and I think one of the other key things is the wage bill, I think, once, once Colpin and Clement have had a look at it, they've really now found out that we are kind of a good world without saying that we're, I don't want to drop an F bomb tonight, but that kind of same meaning that we're well up the creek without a paddle, let's say that, in terms of how much breathing space we have in the wage bill, and shifting players out that are on an acceptable wage for other teams to maybe stamp up the money to afford, because that is going to be the issue. I think as we're going to talk about later on, a certain player being linked to a certain league, where some of our other explorers have gone to, we'll show that that league seems to have the money, and wants to spend it, granted, maybe not spend it on the right players, but from our perspective, I'm not going to stop them, so, yeah, I think we'll get on to that one shortly. Well, let's just go straight into it now, because let's start on that very happy, you know, the Ronta Civil was amazing Andy. Wipe's egg, well, wipe's egg, it looks well forever, I don't know, it just gave me goosebumps, watching Rangers actually take the game to Dortmund and just open them, come away the better team, just how we challenge after challenge, yeah, we fail at final, but it was a ball here. It's no cheers, Rangers fans of the Ronta Civil as to Bonsor, they've seen Bonsor ball, it says, you know, John won some, and they were right, so in Europe a few years ago, let's keep on adding, and James Tavernier apparently has received, and all the club have received an offer for James Tavernier, so I don't blame the talks you said for working at Rangers Ronta Civil, because that must be what they're based on, no last year, but the best team will definitely give Rangers what they've won for James Tavernier, they'll give James Tavernier what he won some wages, I think this is a, I think this is a go. Yeah, I mean it's almost like another manager has looked at a fantasy team from three years ago and thought, wow, they'll make great players nowadays at Michael Bewin in these 2012 dream team of Wonder Kids, you know, it screams of, that expedience almost, I think it's probably the only thing I can think of, that the Kex that go in, first man corners, and Civil, I'm being harsh there'll be more things, and as we've said in the past, that looking, when we look back on tab in the future, you know, they're not going to be filled with as much anger as maybe we were feeling, and that when the take-away, the take-away slipped away from us last season. Right now, he is someone that is going to be on a nice amount of wages, and we'll probably be able to command a semi-decent V-form, obviously his age will come into play as to how much we can get for him, but having that kind of wage off our overall bill and a couple more millions probably to spend, we'll certainly do as no harm, I think, you know, this has been said, their trip, John Sproder is a huge show, Daniel Bonlin and Loney Warren are kind of tracked by him to take to have as a, the triple would be spectacular, I think it's the right time, I think we've had this conversation till it's blown the face, it's, I think it is the right time for him to move on, I think staying in our season would, uh, tarnish the kind of good memories that we will have, as we said when we do look back in the future, because there has been great moments in these time arrangers, I mean, you do forget how long it has been, you know, I was still in, I was in, in primary school, I think, when you, when you must have signed, um, it's just scaring out of the college for a couple of years that you and I are now in a full-time job, but it's scaring you put it into that perspective, just how long he's been at the club, but, um, yeah, it's a, I think now is the time we need to, if it is on the cards, we need to jump at it and, and, and fully come into a leaf after TAV. You know, my stance in this, you know, I feel the belief James TAV near has grown, um, I thought it was so good, but I, I, I believe, and I'm glad to believe that James TAV near has, has agreed that he will go, um, next summer, and it's done for the clubs to agree, um, whether I stock it, whether I sell it or let's see what is agreed, but there's no doubt in my mind that he won't be able to just, well, um, life after TAV, I've been hanging with us today and listening, oh, let me just, wait, let me just talk it all out before you get down in my throat as do Jean's staring, enough for a TAV near a backup right now, uh, with an Adam Devine or with, I don't know, eh, another, the reason I ask is do Jean's staring a bit of a signal, Andy? No, I think the man's made it a granite, uh, I think the guy is, uh, a deity and our saving grace, um, I don't go over the top of these things as you can tell, um, no, uh, honest, uh, my honest opinion is I think he probably would be better suited to write back, um, then if he was to be playing as a center mid, but I think the backup option is my worrying kind of feeling, as you said, signal, I don't want to say he's injury prone, but I don't know if it's the amount of, uh, running he's had to do in those last kind of games last year, because there were some games where they would just be running through Tout, uh, start as soon as he was on the pitch to this and as he came off the pitch, um, I mean, Ab's games we went through away, um, some big games and on the back of being freaked out as well, he put in a real good shift, um, so I don't know if it was just a lot of running and not a lot of days, um, and you think it was, no one near the squad for the majority of the season, so getting chucked a lot of, uh, a lot of minutes, um, with not a little, uh, not a lot of, uh, pre-season kind of build up and consistent game time, um, could have contributed to that and also the fact that Rangel's is just, you know, we are, uh, we're almost like a hell and a sale when it comes to training, uh, like, you know, a classic WWF to, like, you know, steal chair shots, you know, tables, ladders and chills, hang on, it must be what we're training with. So I'm hoping that that, that clears up and that certainly wouldn't, uh, do as any harm with the whole kind of styling, being injured up when I'm not being injured up when debate. I think given the opportunity, you, it would do really well, um, maybe just see what add them to Vinc and there's a backup that's maybe winning. A lot of fans are coming in saying they need to see how, how reliable he is and he deserves his chance to be able to see him. Um, he, he does have the fans back and he does any zander. Um, I don't think we can fall in the same trap that we did with Jim Starve Neil with all my relying on him. That's why I think, um, while kind, uh, it was a bit unfairness and, and Jim Starve Neil we've allowed ourselves to take over relying on him. Um, you know, um, Jim Starve Neil, it, I go back time and time again, his best season was when he had Nathan Patterson as an able challenger. We need something to come and challenge, do John Stellen. Couple that way, we don't know how reliable we'll be yet. Adam Devine, I don't know if he's a step up we need in, in this world right now. Um, and I know the western's going to say we need young players to come in and get our chance and stuff and I'm probably going to be a hypocrite here. I do agree with that, but I don't know if that's a bit much pressure coming out. I'm making sense here. There's one thing we're rotating up where and then getting game time, but I would see us having to use Adam Devine more than, more than, more than Koma Shannon, for example, and that might just add more pressure on their very weak squad. Um, my timeline for bringing Adam into our squad would have probably been next season. I think the motherboard alone spell was good for him. I think that's a really perfect start for his kind of senior career. Um, you know, he spent a lot of time just staying at the club. Um, you know, a couple of games here and there, um, when we had injury issues. Um, but I don't know if maybe I'm not seeing it. I'm not seeing what it's like behind the scenes. Um, it maybe is more ready for the, the, that kind of promotion almost to, to be a, uh, uh, the next choice behind dojo and, um, when called upon, because, I mean, I'm not seeing it more than well from him. It was certainly a good asset. It wasn't great to go forward. It was relatively decent than the defensive side of the game as well. So, um, I don't think he did himself any harm in these performances at Motherwell. Um, it's just a case of how far along in the development this club won't think he is. I mean, he's still a young lad. I mean, that's 21. Um, you know, I think it could be a chance for him to have maybe a breakout year for us and then contribute more than we think he can, but that decision is less similar in the manager. Um, and if he doesn't think that's gonna, you know, if that is on the cards and we might see some kind of paper talks about other players, maybe even, like, what experience players that he wants to bring in, um, which would be, I suppose, interesting to see what happens. I know it's, we're giving up an experience player to, you know, to, to free up our position. Obviously the whole one in one out thing. Um, it's a very interesting topic as a whole. Um, and again, that it's only so much we can say in terms of thinking we have the answer, but there's only a couple of people who will have the answer. And now this is all theoretical because if Tavernier doesn't move, then this was a complete waste of six minutes of conversation and we'd be right back to, uh, where we were still the last year. Um, but only time will tell. What, what's potential based on us, like, seven minutes and because of some, it's a lot of really good chat going on in, um, comments and not coming back in fast, so sorry, I can't share them all with us. Um, some depression and, and sorry, I, I don't know where it went. Um, as James, has James Tavernier been a success at Rangers? Um, I'm going to share some comments as a lot of coming in through, for either side and I put the vote in for the YouTube listeners as well to see the general consensus. I've got a kickers off, aren't they? Yes, James Tavernier has been a success. Um, and I'll contextualize this. I don't think you can rate one player based on the team that they play in. Um, I don't think that's how you judge football players. You judge them, or that's part of it, absolutely, but you judge them in the impact of that team, the importance, the talent and what the non tangible stuff is. I think James Tavernier who served us through a very, very difficult period, um, is one of only three Rangers captains that we do to, uh, a European final. And I said this, uh, we plugged back in the day when we interviewed Dave King. Some, some we think it was a more important another. Yes, the whole count is one, but realistically, they are more important than another. We, we tell number 55 was the most important trophy that I'll see my lifetime because before that, the 10 years before that, we went in there somewhere, no, no, everybody have a problem. No, that was the most important one. I think all of this James Tavernier's contribution as a field back and, and a captain and just, I'll play it in general. I think that always the nine of fours he has in his game, for me, is a success. What's your thoughts? I have absolutely no long term negative things to say about James Tavern, and the heat of the moment, and over a couple of seasons, um, you know, as a team, we lost tight races and South Atlantic won trophies, and that's the worst thing that, and the world has as range of supporters. But I always give that to have, it, it was almost as if when 10 other players couldn't find a net, it was almost a case of, oh, well, we don't have to because if in doubt, travel just it, it's just like, to have up front, you know, and I think it was very much. That's the season where we can have found out that we can't do that anymore. And in the same way that we found out that Morelos couldn't be that kind of player at times as well, where it was just like putting the ball out for you to get under control and get up the park. We can have found out that individuals can outperform the team. And that was one of those things about the 55 season where all across the park, whatever Rangers game you watched that season, every single player was better than the opposite number. And every single player was doing their job. I think it's one of these where over time you will break down some of the teams and some of the games that we were in. And the team wasn't good enough. The team didn't perform. The team, some people might even say we're scared of the big occasions in some games. I think Tav can see he contributed the best he could. Did he get found out in a couple of games? Did he get outpaced in a couple of games? Yes, he did. But I mean, he's called Talies. He's assessed Talies. I mean, he'd be the captain for three, four, five years, maybe this would have been fifth year. I mean, it's hard. I don't think he can work over the whole stint. See, it was negative as a whole. I think anyone that says that it's maybe still when the heat of we lost the title race. And as the winning captain, you know, of the losing captain, you're always going to be the one in the spotlight. And he was in the spotlight when he lifted the lead cap this season. He was in the spotlight when, you know, like you said, he was in the spotlight when we lifted the 55th lead title. But, you know, it's just the life of being a captain at a massive football club. So, I mean, it goes with any, anywhere wishes I have, I've give to them. Because this, I mean, sometimes it just isn't meant to be when you get to a club for this long. I mean, all the kind of good buys for players doing the years up inside. And I think this season will probably be the right time before a pitchforks may become out for some of the more heated, you know, people in our support. Yeah. And the last note is that 60% yes, he has had, he has been a success. And quite a few comments coming about, you know, players can stay too long, which sort of is said there, goes and be next. Like, it can be a great serving, but your time does come in. And I mean, I'm not disputing that at all. That same with this conversation, and it doesn't have to be one or the other. I think we can acknowledge what he's done for the club while seeing it at the same time, necessary time for me goal. And the world of black and white will be in a wee bit great. Yeah, I mean, one of these things, one of these things, maybe you'll write a book seven or eight years after he retires and he'll maybe come back and go. When I left Rangers, I felt like it was a good time to move on. And I felt like I could have done all I could have done at the club. Because players themselves know when maybe they're losing that yard the pace, or maybe they're getting out of bed when you've got the silk covers getting out of you a bit harder. It's not like when they're talking in another bottle of the cash would certainly make those silk covers a wee bit more silky, but that's up for Tav to decide. Obviously, these all come down to the present end of the day. Clubs can agree transfer fees and sell-on clauses and sell-on percentages, but I'm not a player saying in a contract that move doesn't happen. So it's definitely on Tav, whether or not he wants to stay or he wants to go. And I think it was a part of me that Steph, I think, that you might consider this option of going a little bit more than he would have a couple years ago. Yeah, he's off as far as I'm concerned. And we just need to plan for three after them, whether it has a variation of do-go-and-sell and Adam Devine or something else. We need to be seen. So I might come to that myself here, Andy, by saying right back as near the priority position, they're going to say something. We know the situation that we're in, where we need players to move out before they come in. I don't find that'll be right for right for the positions. I think it'd be very silly to do that, because we might end up having, I don't know, a 90% complete midfield, we have 10% complete defense. For example, for those I think we need to target priority positions. We've been went with Adam Trio, the winner. Again, Joanne Jordan. Again, it's a sign and it's a really exciting show to the Angels Journal who are doing it. I did dive on Joanne Jordan tonight. After you've listened to us, I'm going to give them a listen. I do feel that the central midfield is somewhere we need to prioritize central midfield in the centre forward for me, but what's it's hoping your shot must? I was going to simplify it and say I'm Darlasima, but I really don't know where we stand on that. There's a lot of people saying that I was all the makers of going right down the wire and I can't, you know, style. I can get the, you know, we have other positions to look at. I've seen the priority lengths, I've seen the Jordan lengths when I was sitting in the Lewis House last weekend. You know, I think the priority one I've seen today was quite, you know, wider than Mark from what I really was wanting us to look for. Unless I didn't, I can't say I've deep-dived into French wireless fixtures in the last two or three seasons. I don't know the guy as good as I would like to make a full assessment on him, but what I've read, I don't know if he's an answer long term. I think the age I thought I read was 29 and I don't know if that's a great option for them out of money we might need to pay for him, because obviously he's, I think, still in contract. I mean... -Is this why Jordan? -You said sorry. -That's his try already. -So what I read. -29. -29, someone had said something like three million pounds. Obviously, this is a speculation and I've noted a lot of research on the guy. The guy might be brilliant for him, but that kind of, you know, profile of the age and the value that we might have to pay kind of worrying. I don't know if it's paper, I don't know if it's agents picking up their man, but I kind of hope that from what I've seen of copping and some of the the style of players and kind of because he's been kind of bigging up and a lot of links work towards, you know, early in the window, and I don't think that's the idea I've been looking for. Ah, yeah, I don't think it's a priority. But just to go back and something that you said, there's a lot of that matter, a lot of the old, the old million, 29 year old, we don't make much money back. I do think we, it's very hard because we, we need to do well over the next few turns where one doesn't, we need to start selling some of our assets. But at the same time, we will make money back and everybody, and in a far hanker, the whales will be all out and cutting the sire, hands that you get money, autocortes, corner, baron, hefty, always was a brought in with the idea that they'll move on for more money in the future. We can't eat, we can't even fill this world, we're eating whales like that and waiting for them to be improved. So I do think it's okay spending the old money that you won't make back or maybe, you know, a 29-30 year old or whatever. But again, one way, one way worry is knowing others need the most important part when I think we do need to soil the spine of the team. I get the whole conversation about the, no, I believe there can be a sellable asset and we need to have, you know, talent and when you pay for talent and stuff like that. But I mean, I look across the city when they spent about a million and a half pounds on a 23-year-old dyes in my either comparing that to what we would be paying for this guy. And I don't want, if he does become him, just put a whole back on 100%. That's this conversation about me having doubts about him. He stays in my head, but I'm not going to drag him down if he were to sign for rangers. I think you can pair the two of them and you go from either the age range, the price range, his age range and his price range are scary to think about. I think like, strangely, maybe a wee bit wide of the mark. And 100%, 29 is all about a good age for me while I can have good grasp of experience in his game. But I don't know, I can see I'm convinced about that move. But the key thing is that obviously, as a range supporter, if there's a scarf picture, I'll get behind them and hope that he's a massive success for us and can score as lots of goals, set up a lot of goals and win as lots of trophies because that's what we do. But I can't see I'm 100% sold by that link. It's so great. It's so great man. When you're talking about the time to everyone doing it because it's been nice, it's been a nice exciting chat today when I'm talking to you Romano, it's been number of James time when you're going, but it's not happened yet, as you say, and it's a special game. We can't get to it. We can't get to it. We can't get to it. We've got the gaming multi-field against Man United and it will be very much a fringe team for Manu, which hopefully shouldn't be too much bad news, considering where we are. We've got Fennel against Manu, a game against Birmingham City midweek, and then Union Berlin is the last friendly weekend Saturday, so we should really start seeing the shape of what Carmona started to do and, you know, what he started doing with some players. How do you expect us to be lining up in a nose of preseason Fennel? What would you be willing to see him try at least? Um, maybe try, you know, I don't think it's much on him, but try not to concede silly free kicks on your back on the ball and then let Ajax go and take the piss and to simplify it down. Um, I'd like to see something a bit more competitive, and I think, you know, the team we played, we stay out with Ajax was relatively okay. I think it was a decent team. I think maybe it's even more of Oscar Cortes in that team, and I'm really looking forward to seeing what Cortes can do this season. Um, I don't know, because it was the whole thing, was it a tab with a feature that, but he had a knock, and I don't know if he would play. It's kind of like, it's a marquee game, I suppose. It's bullshit. Yeah, it's bullshit, it was a knock. Yeah, I, I feel like if it, if it, if it is the case, and it would only just enable me to maybe try and play them in this game, since it is the kind of marquee fixture in a preseason game. Um, but I don't know, I think making maybe make up more of our kind of, our headlines, depending on what, what happens with that team sheet, if it is in the squad, if not, same with your likes, you can. Well, um, obviously you didn't feature an iX either. Um, interesting what it said about Raskin, uh, I think, interesting to see how long he is maybe out for or out in a favor, it's progressing, or if we'd be struck by the injury bug again. Um, but I think we'll see a lot more, um, you know, tomorrow I'm something that are going to do the, the press conference tomorrow. Um, I think usually I'm afraid they'll do the, the pregame presser. Um, are they doing that for friendlies? I don't know, that's one of those things that I couldn't tell you. Yeah, I feel like the Clement one last before the iX game was a wee bit kind of random, but I could be talking nonsense. But whenever that is, I'm sure there will be some sort of, if it is a kind of prerecorded one or if it's a kind of live presser that that usually do, then I'm sure we'll maybe hear a wee bit more. Before the game, because I'm slightly stumped and be perfectly honest, that's how I'm feeling right now with everything rangers. I would like to see where Cormon's formation in style is going to be, because I know the only one, I'm sure, that felt that when he took over, he pretty much just adapted and left it and drafted what Michael Bill set up was to be and just try to get the press to implement a wee bit better. So, ah, there's nothing to say that Cormon might not favour. Well, the other chance he might favour that formation. I don't know, I just don't feel it worked all the time. So I would like to see him try something different. Maybe even a flat three in the midfield of 4.33 or I don't know, maybe even a three in the back, like, it would be good to see, I was trying to set it up to utilize a bit of energy and pace, because I thought that way, everyone normally have the caliber of players in the midfield, then we need to time set up elsewhere to go, we've got to stare on one side, hefti, the other side, red van, the left back. We do have quick players, we do have energetic players, let's try and maybe shape the team around using him a bit more. Yeah, um, I don't, I'm not going to overdo it. I think, you see, I don't think he lifted and shifted basically the few styles play, because to say that people had the style of play would be, would be very generous as fair and fair. I think, in those kind of 11 games in a row, we won, when Clement came in, I thought we were utilising kind of, you know, sharper passing through the lines, and I think that kind of ball through the middle, and was then letting the field backs get further up the park, because we were quite, we, below we kind of started, there was kind of passing plays in which we scored from kind of, me breaking the line, from kind of, I sent a back pass and then using the width further up the park, and it seemed to go awry when we hit injury crisis time. Um, I don't know if that's a country, but in fact, the way that we kind of seemed to slip back into the, purely executed Jedi style of play. Um, I don't know, my pieces over the down town in our form was that reason we had too many injuries, we were relying on second and third choice players, who maybe last time they were the play consistently was that Jedi style of play, and that was my thesis for why it was going back to something they would know. Granted, they didn't execute it brilliantly, hence the reason we didn't win the league, but I'd be hoping we would see more of that, crisper passing, you know, getting the ball from back to front, um, sharper, and I thought when we were playing that kind of style of play we were good, I thought this was something that was working for us, um, but I'm yet to see it being implemented in pre-season so far, so whether the man United games are same or it's different, we're just not waiting to see. Last question, well, we see any of the young players get a start. Um, the reason is we held the field in Cremon, that was your AP, saw some heavy training, um, some heavy running for the first team players in Nida, and others will have a games, um, we've seen the way sufferers are carrying very nice, uh, most of them featured against region A to the Wednesday, um, so, uh, that, that's what we'll be telling over the next quarter of Fendries, how much, I think the young players will be involved, but how much they'll be involved, we'll show, give us a big thumbs to how serious we're being able, these boys, is it MDA, you think, you can see Cremon here to start line up? Uh, Laudie, potentially, um, I'd like to see Laudie getting more game time, um, I thought he has looked sharp and every bit of footage I've seen of him, um, over this kind of pre-season training tour, I thought he was okay, um, when he, when he came on, I think it was kind of when he came into the game, it was a bit scrambled, um, I think he was playing off of Scott right up front, which was a terrifying thought, almost, almost deploying Scott right as a target man, um, I was sitting just ahead with my hands and you had missing houses, what's happened? Remember, we'll be playing at Hampton for probably the best part of the year, we need Scott right, like, give him the keys to fucking a gradual, like, he can do it once when we're playing at Hampton. But that just says how poorly we're running as a team, when he's one of the players that's closest out the door, uh, when, when we're going to commit to playing at Hampton for all that time. Um, that says all, the one guy that it can score at Hampton, I think we should learn back by my guy, potentially, um, if that's what we're going for, um, but yeah, but I think Laudie was, is looked sharp, um, maybe he's got that, that kind of ruthless point to prove kind of mentality in on my season, I think I was doing more of a good, um, I don't want to see was that he was never believing his own hype or anything like that. But I think when you maybe have so many people around you in academy or social media, I mean, we're, we're Rangers fans. I've done it before. I thought Glenn Middleton was going to be an absolute star, that, you know, it rangers me big up a player as soon as they show a glimpse of talent. Um, it's maybe hard to, you know, push that to one side and not believe you're on hype at times. Um, so I, I'd hope that maybe with, you know, the manager, um, you know, keeping them in the straight and narrow, it could be something that features this season. Um, because I think he definitely has that talent. He just needs to be consistent and keep, you know, working on his game. And as I said, don't believe the hype. And you know, you're only as good as your last touch the ball at Angels, you know, that's, that's the way it is. Um, so I think depending on, you know, what the manager sees from him, I think he could be something that we see a bit more of a season. Oh, well, here's one, because I don't think we're going to get, uh, too, too much, um, and fair external. So just hoping there's some day for academy taking, taking that opportunity. But I think that'll be a nice place to end it. Here, folks, um, obviously it's normal, not too much to talk about, uh, this preseason, but we will be back on Sunday way. You know, hopefully a decent performance day to talk about. And hopefully one or two, uh, movement and the chance fail, uh, window. So I'll show you what's happening aboard myself and stroke for the Angels, Donald will be all in the news tomorrow morning. And then of course, we'll be back in Sunday with, um, the weekend recap and for the patreon members will be the two day visit will be up in sally for you. Um, just give enough take on the current state of affairs. But as always, if you can give that like, subscribe, follow wherever you get your podcast. It really does help the pod, pod grow. Um, even though the treat here and therefore said we'll just go a long way. Um, so I always have to do Andy, thank you for coming on. And what do you think the show will be inside of me? Thanks for having me on again, Colin. Yeah. Good. You know, Thursday night again, we've been more interesting as a season scrooping over so close, you know, it's getting scary now. Um, I hope it was good to actually having to commit to playing at Hamden for the majority of this kind of first part of the season. Um, I'm going to say it will be two and all the Angels in a way that we somehow managed to beat real and that friendly to an all, um, the Saquella, any 10 school devolved people. Um, I don't know. I think that will be a majority of the fact that half the man who needed players or may know be still coming back from the Euros. Casa Miro was too old to go to the Cup of America in Rashford than to get back for England for a reason. Um, but I think that maybe my head, um, talking, uh, just about my heart's trying to nudge it to see. Um, but I'll say to it now, but it's pre-season, whatever happens happens, I'll just be happy to see the, the Blues back out in the park and hear from the support, because I'm sure it'll be a, sure, it'll be a good day out, at least that money field. Yeah, kind of, I knew the way, you know, what, why ain't they hamden? There's kind of like a, uh, a bill size, um, here's what you could have won, I prize, um, in my midfield. Um, but now I'm going to go, I'm going to draw us one each, uh, draw, I don't mind you'll get, um, be too sharp. I find the way to switch and the ladies and rangers have probably got a time, something different, so one each, I'm going to go for and back around the air mate, take on day hangs in the transfer window. So until next time folks, I'll be on with tomorrow morning, so until then, thank you very much for listening and take care.
