Modern news, my name's Colin and I'm delighted to be joined in this sunny 12th of July by short young, how are you doing, mate? Yeah, not bad, mate, as you said. So, we actually start a lot later the normal this morning, so it's good for me getting a wee bit of a line, but no, when Ford took us a lot. Bit of my news to get into today. Ah, absolutely. I'm obviously willing to check in on each other in the mornings. I'm just going to get out of my chest. I fucking hate straight away, hence why we are starting quite a bit later in the recording. Two of those dotted all this morning, but it is what it is. Tell us about your training update, how are you getting on? I know I'm doing, it's going well. I thought I was an abstract session on Monday and I was comfortable with the quickest one there, so I was happy with that. And yeah, then I just keep going on with the other session yesterday, so there's a couple of things that need to work on, but I've got a few months before it, so now I'm involved. Happy day. Here's where obviously the training we are to orbit is short, training for the hydrox on November. I think it's November 13th. And obviously he is joining the raising money for Macmillan Council Support, and the way to the 80s, just revenues in the district. So again, as always, thanks to November 16th. There you go, folks, you've run extra TV as well, so where's a penny? I've found all goes a long way in the morning, because in the description, wherever you're getting a podcast, folks. So, short answer to today's news then, quite a lot to get through. We've heard from John Bennett, or John Bennett and Bertie Croes, they've just put a statement where his name on it, and we've heard from Philip Clemonne, or in the preseason so far, but let's start with the dangerous statement last night. So, Rachel's statement read that they can confirm that it's in the final stages of negotiations with SFA to secure a hand in, as it's temporary home until the hydrox walks are completed. So, John Bennett was quoted in the statement as saying, "First of all, I'd like to apologize on behalf of the club for the uncertainty that this way project has caused our season take all those hospitality clients, partners, and the way the support of this football club." The number of variables in this situation is made extremely difficult to bring the one thing that we all crave, which is certainty. Nevertheless, we are causing in the most immediate solution, a suitable venue to fulfill our pictures and how so support. While the ongoing delay means the club has enabled it to be for our return the eyebrows, we've been anticipating that this will become clear upon the delivery of the necessary materials to casual. We just find the SFA and SFA for our strong support and working for to the solution. The club wholeheartedly appreciates continued patience of the supports where we work through this, and then to give our fill-up personal update by the end of July. So, that's a wee bit of a mouthful score, the kind of highlights I'm taking here as it's most likely we're going to be handling. We don't have a material yet, so we don't have a date for when eyebrows will be ready. John Bennett says, "This is all half-person maybe, isn't it? You'll know more by the end of July." What's your thoughts on this statement? Can I sum up to you? The first one, it wasn't really the handling, because we kind of already knew that. The first thing that's found for me was talking about the things having arrived yet, when we all thought they had. There was pictures going about with materials out of survivors, we all assumed it was that, but obviously I'm part of it, it's no. So, I'm quite concerned that they haven't arrived yet, but I also want to think that through a lot of personal update by the end of July, I can't see that being anything else other than him putting the filming on Bisco at this point, because that seems to be what he's been doing. If you've read between the lines, someone's been leaking stuff to Keith Jackson, and all of it is very negative towards Bisco and the way left. So, and I'll have forgotten something that's from Bennett, so I'm assuming this personal statement will be something online, or we've had a tumultuous time with members leaving in whatever house, but I'm more concerned about what we're going to next, and how that affects Europe, because, before we move on, sorry, I'm going to go. And that's what I was saying, I'm talking about Europe, like, the room I only found out yesterday about it, that's all I think I'm through, you can't change stadium halfway through a European competition. So, if we start Champions League at Hamden, we're probably going to have to be at Hamden for all of our home European games. For the better option for me is, you use iBrucks, which are the Copeland, you find a way to hold the things in place, that you find a way to get the clean off the park, and let and have it be safe enough to fill Europe's criteria, and be able to play the games the rest of the game to iBrucks when the Copeland's open. So, to me, whatever we decided to do with the UEFA, Champions League or whatever, I think the whole thing, I think, we have to play European games at iBrucks, because we can't be switching stadiums from iBrucks to Hamden for our European game. As a season to go to the Copeland Real, I'm not too much of a fan of your suggestion. I do get the idea what's the longer term benefit for everybody on the club, but I think it's not just moving the train, and it's implied on the patch as well, parts of the patch will be getting re-weighted and re-softaced every time we move the train. So, I think if we do that, which is the way it even further, and instead of having iBrucks ready and September or October, for example, I can see that's running in the journey, if I stop starting every time we have a game, because if we're getting a Europe or whatever, the comp games, you know, we're talking every, every, every seven days, we need to move something. What's the solution now? Eh, just play all the Champions of the Games at Hamden? I don't see anything. I don't see any other option to make sure that we get the watch done as quickly as possible, and not shaft any more fans, any more because as well. We've got the Union Bells as well, and I'm not saying we need about doing the Union Bells, but I don't think the club won that headache of keeping the amount of games very wrong and different. I'm not saying that anymore, or anywhere that's important than Europe or I, but they are noisier, and I think the club won as well, noise from the supporters' basketball right now. I think another solution is, obviously, your topic, you've been in the Copeland. I think if you surveyed 40 or 1000, how much could we hold, 70,000 maybe? Yeah, give a take. You could probably, sadly, 40 or 1000 season-dig holders. Do you want to miss out on Champions League games, but you'd save Hanon 50 quid? Generally in it, you could probably find 8,000 foot, I would say and then you can move people from the Copeland into their seats and whatever else. So I think there are ways around about it, but yeah, having to move the Queen every time would depend, every mid-September, it would need to be ready for, which probably isn't likely, but I'm assuming if you get materials soon enough, we could get enough done that we don't need the Queen anymore. Yeah, I mean, like the Queen doesn't need to be there, but it's not 100% ready yet, there's a lot of things that need to be done. So that we could find solutions in ways around it, but to me, I think the worst possible outcome is League games at iBooks, Champions League games at Hanon, or Europe for the games that I've played in. Yeah, because it won't just be until iBooks is ready, if we, even if it's Europe, or in your Champions League, at what we're in, in the competition with Europa, if we then get in the knockout stages, we need to keep Hanon as well. So it should very much be in the position where, I mean, if we get in the Europa League, I don't think it's unreasonable and expectation, again, in European football after Christmas, we should be aiming for that. So we could be playing that arm then up until February March, and it's just show after show, but catch on by to something that you mentioned about our personal filler update by the end of July. I will be with it, if Jordan Benner blames all of that, some James Bezrove, and I'm not saying that James, it may very well be true that James Bezrove might have got over this role, but as a chairman, the box stops for you, I mean, I'd be equally as raging if, if League come on, was asked about why he lost the League last season, and he blamed Jordan on some, you know, where it was all Jordan on some, you know, the box stops at you, you know, you're the manager, it's the same way Jordan Benner. You, we do a club, yes, you might not be in the detail of a day or day, but you're charged with the oversight and stewardship of the club. I will be really annoyed if it's nice to pass the box here. Yeah, I think that's all that I brought from what I've seen from the guy. I wouldn't be shocked if it did, because, like, these, that's what, it will try and spin it in a way. Like, these people, you think, they're all very good ones, I mean, they already, they all, they're all very good with the ones, they all know how to say their points, or the statement will say something along the lines of what we had, X, Y, we had a tumultuous time with Chief, with the CEOs leaving them, whatever else, that will be how he tries to spin it. I think, I'm at UAD, he should take the full brunt of it, but I can't see that happening. I think he will end up passing the box, and if he doesn't, I'll be pleasantly surprised. Yeah, I mean, it's happened, but she was born about a world shop, don't we? So, in today, I went using, so Jordan Benner is not the only person with a healthy philanthropic mind while speaking to the mainstream media film Netherlands, and he was talking about her pre-season, as you go when the time fails, and the fan reaction of the, of the summer so far, and he says, "I understand as a fan, if you don't know what's in the show, not in the club, everything is needed, if you don't know that, and you work only with the results, and you do work with the emotions, the last part of being a fan." So, we went on a speech about short-struck final, while she was saying that he was about a team, I think he has to be careful with saying that, saying he's about a team, but basically, the way he was facing the show was that they weren't far away with having a war war with him, so he said, "You can have walking moments when you get the results, we are less quality, but not in the long-term." It's really important that the club starts walking in something long-term, and he said that that's what happened in the day. Roam was developing a day, Rangers will not be rebuilt in a day as well, and he's saying a lot of things are going on in us to get good signing in, get the players that they have better than the majority get less, and juries have better than juries prevention. So, basically, I think he's, what I'm taking from it was he doesn't as much as he could do with that top standards forward, he wants to get things better, it's not going to happen over me. Yeah, I think he's right. That's what happened saying all season basically. We lost the league by what was it? Maybe we lost a good margin, 7, 8 points, but when you dig into the fible from games, they're finally going to cut final. We didn't really get outplayed in any of them. All it was 1-0, 2-1, 3-each, 2-1, 1-0. That doesn't sound like, it doesn't sound like five harmonies to me. Got beat in four of them and deserved to get beat in the four of them, I think. But in terms of the way we played, it wasn't as if they played it off the park. So, I don't think we're as far away from self-take as a lot of people think we are. Even they give me, even the make-up you'll give. We got a digital goal which controversial, and we didn't really get played, but we didn't really have many saves to make, and that's make-up you who's a manager. So, we aren't as far away from them as the league table looks in my opinion. Disback to school season, you can count on Whole Foods Market to do the ingredient homework for you. They ban over 300 food ingredients, like high fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated fats, and more. That's comforting when getting ready for back to school. Hey, I'm Ryan Reynolds. At Mint Mobile, we like to do the opposite of what Big Wireless does. They charge you a lot, we charge you a little. So naturally, when they announced they'd be raising their prices due to inflation, we decided to deflate our prices due to not hating you. That's right, we're cutting the price of Mint Unlimited from $30 a month to just $15 a month. Give it a try at mintmobile.com/switch. $45 up front for three months plus taxes and fees, promoting for new customers for limited time, unlimited more than 40 gigabytes per month slows. Full turns at mintmobile.com. But yeah, when it comes to pleasing the foundation of going to please Ranger's fans, that's how it works. We could sign Eileen Harlan and kill him back at the moment, and they'd find something to moan a bit, or some other areas, or some crap like that. So, I think he's starting to learn you're not going to please Ranger's fans. But, I'm quietly confident for the season. On the window itself, I can't make a judgement, because I've never seen any of these boys play fit but, apart from corner baron, who I like. I've never seen in Seattle, never seen Kickable, apart from my YouTube front door, I've never watched the YouTube completion, half days in a little, I've never seen play fit but, I demand it, never seen play fit but. So, I can't make a judgement, these players are going to be stars on them, because I don't know. But I always suppose anything does I start. So, I think we just need to be patient but, yes, fit both fans and your Ranger's fans, and patient doesn't exist in your dictionary. So, yeah, I'm just quiet. I'm just waiting till October, September, October time before I can make a full judgement on a lot of these sounds. So, Cremont was asked how to see the window so far, and I say it is too early today. I'm hoping it's just about hard with the players that we've got it. You know, we made that evaluation in the first of September and nicely early. We don't speak about the market being small or in years that you have the World Cup or the Euros, and you don't say that it got a lot of business on the early with Wales moving out on Wales coming in. I'd speak about Melissa and the Sire and Corner Barden. More than the Sire said, he's got a lot of talent but he needs experience and he has to do a lot of things. It's interesting to see him as a player who's come in for longer term. I'd say, I don't expect him to be a starting player. The same way he goes, he won't be ready to start. He's never trained to play as a player this level. Then he went on to say, we've got players like Barden and Hector who maybe get there faster. So when he's saying that I don't expect him to be starters, I think he's meaning straight away because he's got a bit of a germany coming off forward and then compared to me, Barden and Hector who will be ready a bit quicker. So again, I think he's rather the balance of not trying a feeder's passion, but at the same time being realistic because I do think when he'd be realistic, the manager's point of view is where we're working right. We were five players in, we were five out and it's still a long long time ago until the time so when the wins in our solo muscle, yeah, you're right. It's not a patient bunch. We're definitely not patient when things aren't going well and everything on and off the pitch. It's just kind of been very uncomfortable. So maybe we're doing need to get a wee bit more time and see what happens. Yeah, I mean, it's just obviously with the signings, he said they might not be starters, but I think I read that as preseason, I read that as he won't be stuck, they won't be starting out with a preseason game. I'm letting a man he's in Netherlands yet. Liam Kelly just arrived in to the training camp yesterday, I think. So he's not, I think, but I think that'll include both three, they both have to get in the standard stage. So, so the killer wasn't there. So, there is still players to come in that we've signed, like I'm only starting to join. Still players to come into the training camp. I'm not sure. I think there will be movement between now. If we don't, I think we should be well-made two or three more before August. So that's what I got us for a few weeks. I'd be very shocked if we haven't said I did any players until August, but I still feel it's been chemically doing just play. That's an example. And there's probably other names that haven't even been before the jet, they will probably end up signing. So, I think it is just a time for patience, but as you said, with the negative day, I know that the first story, it's kind of just being pushed up to boiling point almost, because Tabstellum, a lot of fans, including myself aren't having Tabstell there, Sam Goldson, Scott Wright was meant believing, he probably had a medical, was Sheffield Wednesday held, but nothing's came for that yet. Sam Lamels is still employed. So, I think there's still issues around the playing squad that need to be addressed, specifically comes to outgoings and try to make as much money as possible to sign a centre-half at outback, maybe a winger, probably a centre midfielder or two. So, there is areas, but I think it's more sailing, need to be 31st vessels and all of a minute, need to go. Into the end, we'll just point to Wednesday the 17th of July, that's when the Saudi transfer market opens. So, keep your eyes peeled folks for that thing we might see about movement there. The sake of our careers makes, the sake of our careers will shoot, that needs to be a movement. Well, in the livestream last night, I did say and that I will get him the keys to the broadcast, if James Taffney doesn't end up inside of it, that's some of my thoughts, and if you reply to it, I don't quite want the keys being given to my mates. So, not the end of the year, I'll be sure that it's also doing it. And a lot of times when you see in the mentioned, there's no update, and surely either. Then, Wednesday when I'm only really going away strong, and you will be working the pops up every now and then, again, it was very lazy journalism because rangers aren't healthy, are apparently interested, and you will be well, well, it typically means the Asian side push some, but still get well, the mother will manage your wars, I suppose, basically, well, well, mother will hold out on the valuation for the players, and they say that's the case for everybody. Just being asked equation about the real player as well as where the mother, but, well, the player has been interested to you and we value the player, and that's the most important thing to the club. We've argued players, but the idea of just ending empty, it doesn't matter whether it's rangers or anybody else has been ranked with any players, the most important thing is that we sit down and have the value in that player. If that player is to go, then it has to be the value. I think the club's coming in and telling us they want their player and we've just to roll over, it's never going to be anything. So that makes me think the interest in these players is a bit more real. Scott, the pro is the manager's coming out with a war cry saying you can, you may take your players, but you're going to pay for them. Yeah, I was quite surprised when I saw the link, but the more I read into it, the more I think I've heard it. The Lin and Miller one especially, it makes a lot of sense because don't actually copping those sort of fans forum type thing. Maybe a week ago, a lesson a week ago, and one of the things he said was he will be looking to sign players from Scotland, and we've already seen that with corner baron and William Kelly. So, I think everything just fandried that screaming Lawrence Franklin, but I think when it comes to Lin and Miller, I like the player. I think he's a good young Scottish talent who can give us that throughout also ticker box, which means we can sell Scott right. And also he's what 19, 20, 20, he's 28, he's like so young kid, so he does have the potential, but signing all these players from Scotland doesn't always work, the name I always go to is Jake Hasty. Jake Hasty was a big young talent model, it came and then he played the odd Europa qualifier. Other than that, he never got really any significant minutes, maybe injuries and whatever else. But if we're going to sign all these players, we need to use them. There's no point in hooven up every talent from Scottish football to filler, B team and on bench, because if that happens, teams won't sell to us again. So, I think we need to, if we're signing players like Cora Baron, Lin and Miller, Danny Armstrong, we need to guarantee the minutes, and also find minutes for them, and not just cup games and to clean us out of their home. Significantly can't league minutes, because these players know the league and they've done well in the league. So, I think, I'm kind of in two hands, about signing Lin and Miller, I like the player, but if we have to sign them, we need to play. I think the difference between Lin and Miller and Jake Hasty is they both have probably somewhat about a game time for Mother Will at the point of interest. Lin and Miller, I just tell when you said he's not even 18 yet, he runs 18 next month. So, he's worked up a month. So, Jake, he's worked a lot of years on Jake Hasty. Jake Hasty was 20 when he signed, so find out probably as about the difference, but at the same time, we can't just sign them and keep them on the bench until the 20th and then start up with him. I don't agree with him, but it was a wee bit more scope already, so raw. I know Jake Hasty was raw. I think when you look at it, when you had options, it just had to that point in time. Yeah. It was hard with saying they had a little, like, Jake Hasty should go, maybe a wee bit more opportunity over, maybe, I got a medal for example, but we can't live in the past, but I don't know if that's his... I do think we need to play us today, recommend an instantly improving midfield, then it's just as well in Mars, I don't think he's a step or we need to right now. I think he can go on and develop to maybe be that and I thought it was your time, but he's not your midfield general who we need. The player we want to join wants to maybe ask who we need someday come in. I don't think Berlin or Wenn and Miller do that, just yet. I think Berlin has more potential than Miller, because of us while I think Berlin is a better player. I think Berlin's older, slightly more experienced, despite what, despite everything definitely had the flaws last season, he was still playing in our good midfield, like corner baron, games shinny, and latent clocks, and they're all good footballers, and baron is the best one out of the three. So I think baron probably has more potential than Miller to be a star and also baron... I'm not sure I'm not sure much of the reasons, but if you read into the reports, baron turned down Serie A clubs, English Championship clubs, maybe Celtic as well for reading into that, but I doubt it. He turned down big wages, so he must have turned on them because he's guaranteed game time. So I don't know if he is going to be a star for us, but apparently we've lined up standard wages with a 4-2-3-1, and that makes me more confused about the fact that we're selling Cantwell, Hargy, Lambos, and Lawrence, and Devil. So he wants to set all the number 10s, but still play a formation with a 10. So I'm still slightly confused about how our midfield is going to set up in general. The demand is probably a start, the demand is definitely your first midfielder. It's whoever sits next to whether that's sterling, baron, could be linear Miller, could be someone else. Garcia apparently still hasn't signed the new contract, so I don't have to skip this one. I do like people rasping, but rasping has been drinking the sentence, so I do think we need something else in there, they challenge them. While rasping, if you are thinking the demand is the main star, rasping should be an option next day on alongside Cantwell, but I do think we need something else in there for competition too. Yeah, I think we do need to sign at least an element fielder or two, whether even someone like Bailey Rice is maybe going to be looking for my first 10 minutes this season. So we do have some midfielders, got a lot of fine sense, good change midfielders, but no level up to be a starter yet. So, as Philip come on says, maybe we should maybe find out in the walk-in, which is maybe patient because Rangers won't be rebill in the day, as much as we want it, but I think that's a nice place to end, it's sort of finishing the weekend with a demand from Rangers to go and get some midfielders in and get some players out. And I say if you're listening to the sign I say it a half, maybe even... Oh, I think I say it a half, I say it a half, like back in midfielder, my three priorities won't end there, I'll be able to see my camera as well. Thank you, I'll be able to see those points out what we've been doing, so a bit of a friendship, but thank you to everybody for listening, as always, if you do want more content over the weekend, you'll get the Two Davies over on Patreon or the YouTube members, the members tier, so the 1.1 tier and the Two Davies will be, I don't know, doing the snout-on-world off-impression downfuse, Jack and Victor, and then myself and Mason will be back on Sunday, where fame and chance fail, round-up, so hopefully there's a wee bit more, it comes on deeper, all this way to do.
