(Music) Good morning folks, and welcome to the Gallant Fuse Modern News for Wednesday the 10th of July, 2024. My name is Colin and I will be giving you a bit of a solo update just because I myself doesn't mean there's not a lot to talk about, however it was not a dozy and then rangers, Twitter slash social media slash for what we were a way forward. In the world of rangers, it was not a deal, I tell you that. But anyway, I hope you are all well and you can see behind me if you're watching on YouTube. It's Graze Mattie's shop, Whiterwaffe, the height of summer and it's cloudy as well, but into the update then. So, the final birthday I got off with was the the final advisory board meeting notes were released for the last meeting held in Monday the 17th of June. So, I'm going to hopefully either be a bit of context then through that's because I know there's been a lot of questions on social media. First of all, the meeting notes are usually circulated to the attendees the weeks after and they get a chance to review it, point out any inaccuracies and then once everybody has had a chance to do that, there's maybe 12, 15 people, well that's mean. Go to the clubs media department, the clubs department and then it gets sent out. So, three, four weeks typically had standard for these to go out in the past. So, the attendees from Rangers, you had football legal counsel, a grim horseman, director of football recruitment and he was copping, head of support engagement, Greg Marshall, business growth director, Natalie Nern, Craig Roberson, who is the director of football operations and Karim Varani, the chief commercial officer. From the fan advisory board you had, Farah Dabari, Matt Boyd, Clay Canada, Kelly Johnston, Stuart Wang, and I'm Gary Raustin. So, I'm going to go through the notes, work by work. But I'm going to try to pick a few key conversation points that I think are key conversation points. So, when distressing the review of the 20, 20, 20, 20, 20, 24 season, the fan advisory board challenged the Rangers really about the leadership off the pitch, as well as again the right on and that has to be clear with the leadership off the pitch and Karim Varani said that the Morgan and his team are actually aware of the sentiment going on around the club and the fan base and how we feel about the end of last season. Rangers are about winning, the previous management team didn't work in Philadelphia, come on, team in and do as forward. Today we'll give you an answer, and there's some of the workers taking place for return players, which will hopefully give you some more confidence in regards to where we are headed. For all the good we do, to tie, for all the good we try to do with fans off the pitch, all comes down to the results on the pitch. So, the men are saying say that there was a detail of destruction that took place regarding the time and content in the former of senior club communications supporters, and it's emphasized that it's a crucial and the fan advisory board will be consulted to refine the plan. So, the time and content and format of senior club communications folks, I'm going to revisit that point, I will come back to that. So, news coming, then presenting slides to the fan advisory board, given an anti-interstrategy process, and the general overall philosophy for recruiting players and some key points that he wanted to highlight. They've got a strong adhesion process with the manager involved. Data and value are a big part of the recruitment process. They're looking for a balance squad in terms of age positions, nationalities, personalities and value. A dynamic squad to be successful in both the basic tournaments and in Europe. The prioritising high technical quality and criticism, players need to be robust and reliable and focused, and they have an eye for the Scottish market and talents, and they won't ever obtain the best academy talents, and they expanded on that, and said they want to use a platform more to give opportunities to young players to develop them. And then ultimately, by the way, players say at the moment, recruit players with the ability to make a next step in the big five week, and they want to have some rock contact management. So, overall, robust players can cope with the high amount of games and intensity of the Scottish game, but at the same time, a squad could not add that in Europe. So, it's all the right things and all really nice to hear. And, you know, when he was co-op and seems to be living up to that so far, I'm working at the type of players that are coming in. Nissa, we are a Germany courtes. They've all got our view to hopefully move in a bigger and better finds in the world of Raw. They are seeing his technical young players coming in, all day a mandate, setting the effects of that bill, and then we've all caught on a bar and coming in as well, and that's Scottish Bill. So, it's been a good start. We just do need to see more of this, and we do need to see more going out the way as well. But, truth will be in the couldn't further, no shopping over the next two or three times. So, Windows, but definitely that's I'm sure why that update is something we all wanted to hear. And, it's good to see those actually are strategies involved with the manager heavily involved as well. So, the next part of Grunty was the stadium upgrades. So, bear in mind the timing of this, this meeting was the 17th of June. So, the club shared that the director of operations and venues working with the facilities team and the main contractor. Elements of the project are out with their control, and they're working to make sure they have contingency in place. But, everything has grown a coordinate plan at that minute. So, the fan advisory board asked about the rumours that it's unlikely to be ready for the start of the season, and if there's any contingency, say where else where if something goes wrong. The club said that several options including other Scottish stadium will be explored, everything is on the table and being considered. But, the club finished by stating that the project was a piece that was ever moving, and they are in top of it. So, on the 17th of June, the club said that this was on track at the minute by the 20th of June, just three days later, the club released the publish statement to the supporters saying that the project is the way. So, I wanted to tell you back to the detail of destruction which took place, regarding the time and content and format of single club communications. The club have massive wins up the ball, unless they have massive wins up the ball. They should have been on. If they knew this was going to be in the fan advisory board minutes, they should have released something that day. And I do want to caveat everything here. It's not the fan advisory board's role to tell the club to make sure the club do what they say they're going to do. They are fans who advise on the sentiment of the support, what the feeling is around the support, what's important to the support there to represent us. But, end of the day, they are just an advisory board. You can only read a host of what we can make and drink it and, you know, rangers. There's no point in rangers putting in the effort and the time and resource and engaging the fan advisory board if they're not going to take on the take on the feedback and take on the recommendations. This is a massive own goal. They've made the time and all of these minutes have made it worse in my eyes. The fact that they've said to a group of supporters is on tacking in three days later, released these adops and I guess Ryan Reynolds here from mid mobile. With the price of just about everything going up during inflation, we thought we'd bring our prices down. So to help us, we brought in a reverse auctioneer, which is apparently a thing. My dad works in B2B marketing. He came by my school for career day and said he was a big row as man. Then he told everyone how much he loved calculating his return on ad spend. My friends still laughing me to this day. Not everyone gets B2B. But with LinkedIn, you'll be able to reach people who do. Get $100 credit on your next ad campaign. Go to linkedin.com/results to claim your credit. That's linkedin.com/results. Terms and conditions apply. Linked in. The place to be to be. More than I've ever seen. I've been living with anger towards the boards. That's beyond this. There's an argument to say I was always right at pickfall in these minutes. But the boards viewing me get something out quite quick. They do need to have an update to support us. Even if the update is by the way, there's no update. Here's where we expect one. They need to get something else in. I've seen a lot of critics as I made a fan advisory board for that point. I don't personally listen as I don't think we can. We can really try to say something they are there to, again, stay. What's going on in the board system and I feel that last point or when they challenge the board around the leadership of the pitch, that's the board's perfect opportunity to step up and be accounted for. The last point I wanted to come to then was the section or the cat release. I think maybe something's been worse than the context and worse than the black and white of the minutes. In the notes, the FAB distrust the launch of the AWAKET and the sales channels and couldn't third-party cat retailers. We know what we mean by third-party cat retailers. It's my guy, which is doing everything and his dumbness to make it difficult for the angels. There's no any specific notes or minutes without me supposed to let them make it actually. I'd imagine they won't even avoid putting that out publicly. I'd be shocked if there wasn't a detailed conversation around basically the angels getting down in office supposed to let every cat release. Then we're going to a customer fan advisory board to mention the crash at the castle. Again, I think this has been lost to the context because I think the context behind this was crash at the castle that firms it as I know. WWE released the tops for the Scottish tour date. I don't know. I'm not in the restaurant because I'm not 12. I could of course. It's okay to like race on a fair and adult. But anyway, they've released promotional talks, which are just a rep of the angels talk with the same badge and everything just to work in this different. So I think in the subject of Rangers getting down in our third parties and nobody compensates correctly, it's a fair point today's with WWE. And then now in there, let's say that they are working at collaboration with WWE and Ireland contact. So that was, and I'm not taking these notes as all of these issues are listed and then someday pops up. Wait, what about the rest? So that's, I don't think that's what's happened. It's my take on it. So that is the, that is the, for me, the big points in the fan advisory board meeting. We do need to hear for the board. I think it would be good to hear for the fan advisory board and then to them, I do think they are going to start being a wee bit more vocal and getting a wee bit more context to what they're doing and what the, you know, what they are taking and the meetings are in engagement with the board. They've set up a Twitter page. I don't have any hands on it, but I was important to you to going forward on that Twitter page. You can contact them today. You can also contact them at the email address, I think it's contact@rangersfab.com. So, but I don't know, I've been in contact with them to go back to my straightaway. Make sure that any issues you are engaging with them, they're really good to get them back. And I think that's a really important opportunity we have here to bridge our gap between communications, between the support and the board. And when they use it, they are there to be connected and, you know, we need to, we need to hold them in and take account of if they don't, but we need to give them an opportunity to, you know, to represent this. So, hopefully we do hear for the more in the common reach and I'm hoping to do a bit of a special pod or in the next few weeks or around the fan advisory board. So, into other rangers news then. So, there's a few outworld rumours for the club yesterday. Apparently, Kaguaiari and Serie A side are interested in Sario vessels. So, they are joining a good side PAOK and they're interested. This is according to Italian website Tutomere Cataweb. I may have pictured that pronunciation apologies. So, they are suggesting that rangers weren't around the four million neural - four million pound mark. I think that's a bit steep for a little bit of a done one. Yes, he has slowed 20 odd goals, but I think, you know, between the three and four million markers may be reasonable. So, I think that will put potential suitors off, but apparently Kaguaiari are concerned on putting them in the bed. Also, Sam Ramos is reportedly not at the Netherlands training camp yet. So, a lot of people picking up in pre-season four, obviously, wasn't that all, can hurry? And he's not being pictured at the Netherlands training camp yet. I do wonder if he is just staying at home and waiting for his move to be done and dusted. It wouldn't make sense for him to answer their way to travel for the Netherlands over day or can have it to the ensemble back to the Netherlands, I suppose, especially if we are looking to move them on. Obviously, the same room also around the home you're trading out with Mar and 20 and they aren't going away, but I think it has just down to the monies. Myself and Scott spoke yesterday on Robby McCrally, being lined with Kamala, and that's really getting to action over the last 24 levels. And the report suggests now that it could be a two or a three-year deal that enjoys kamala calling, but rangers are very, very incessant in getting a sale and closing now. I do hope it's a three-year deal because for a two-year deal for a kamala to make any money, then Robby McCrally has to join a new club and he's first season in quite a few years playing regular football and he has to have a wind up and then he has to go for a good bit of money in one year. So, I hope, for a rangers point of view, I hope it's a three-year deal with a decent sale on pause and then that way he's got two years to real showcase what he can do before getting a big move. Last but not the news I will come to today is the rangers beating beat Blackpool under 21's six goals to one yesterday, and I said beating Barry right away because there's a lot of beating players with their kadam with their first team in the Netherlands right now. So, it's a very, very young rangers side and goals for Kamala Bonsai, Kamala and Bell, George Generals, Connor Allen, Kyle Manderson and Xander Hutton put rangers such goals to the good. So, the game was put into three 30 minute periods and the eventual rain which wasn't your usual summery season or summery take day for the pre-season game. So, again, a very young team, the three teams where the first period was Hallowell and Goals, Adam Devine, Alan Webster, Scott in the back floor, Alan Roberson, Ishaka, Stevens, Bonsai and Edie. The same period, it was Hallowell Devine, Alan, Old Kepto, Sports, Webster was what for Grant and Scott O'Fback, Adamson, Alan and Generals in the midfield of Stevens, Bell and Edie up front and then the third period was Hallowell Kept these sport again, Xander Hutton, Christian Webster, Wayne Grant and a boy walk, stepping up for Westback and then in the midfield there was Roberson, Adamson, Ishaka, Bonsai, Bell and Generals. So, I'll be honest folks, I was like, oh, names are allowed to recognize. So, though it's Adam Devine, Kyle and Bonsai, Kressy, the Christian Webster, Wayne Grant. Apart from Adam Devine, all these boys are typically known under the 18s, Archie Stevens and Thompson, Ishaka, they're probably at the age where they're moving from the 18s and Edie B team. It's a very, very young team, so interesting, I didn't mention that at this role, yesterday will be interesting to see who's involved in the B team games over the next few weeks and Rangers do have a friend again, Xander's way edge. This afternoon, I wonder how many academic players will be stepping into the first team to get a shot under Phillip come on. So, obviously, we will be here tomorrow morning at 9am, talking about how that bounce came along, but that'll do me for today folks. So, again, quite a heavy update today with quite a lot to run through. So, let me know your thoughts and equations in the comments, and if not, I will speak to you all again tomorrow morning. Until then, take care. (crowd cheering) (crowd laughing)
