I hope you're having a nice start to the morning. It's glorious out there in Glasgow. Obviously you usually get the usual weather updates from David T. when I'm on with him. And he has painfully reminded me how nice the journey is, and how nice the weather is in Germany. So it's nice to see us going to be about sunshine. And hopefully kind of the week with some interesting Rangers updates as well. Quite a lot happened over the weekend, which is part of their back conversation. Also, we had the livestream last night and we went into this for so interview a bit more detail. But Rangers finally announced Hamza Igammane. The 21-year-old is signed and he's been Philip Claremont's seventh addition to the summer transfer. One day following the confirmation that Mohammed Do Mandy and Osher Cortes both turn the loans into permanent deals. Hefty, Quentin Nissala, Connor Balin and William Carey all coming before him. So Hamza Igammane is signing from ASFAR in Morocco. Come through the youth system before joining him in the first team and also he was also capped at under 20-year-able for Morocco. So Hamza himself said I'm really proud to join Rangers and I can't wait to get started with my teammates. It's a huge club, we're a loyal fan based on a lot of history and we're sitting from a future here and we're looking forward to being a part of this club. So manager Philip Claremont he said I'm delighted to welcome Hamza to Rangers and we believe he will be a great asset to us world. He's got a lot of talent and a lot of potential and he'll bring a fresh presence to our attacking options. We know it will be a big change in culture and a new country for Hamza to adapt to but as a club we will support him on and off the pitch to settle here. And finally director of football recruitment Neil's club and said I would like to welcome Hamza to throttle and enter Rangers and I'm thrilled he will be joining us world. He's an exciting young talent who has already shown his energy strong determination during this time in Morocco and at an national level and I'm waiting for to see him develop for that in a club. So that was quite a mouthful but I don't want to waver the points we've made about Hamza Igammani over the last five weeks because that's how one was taken to get this deal over the line. He's coming as one of our first name girls as an upbeat team saying and he's running in the first team's world and he should be contributing to the first team. I do think we need Ham and Daniel and Ian other villains that we're challenging each other for the first team and Hamza Igammani also has the benefit of being able to play out weight either side or side or side or two. So he gives us that option but I don't think we can just assume that he's running in place actually games a season and be the main man but equally I don't want to say young boys just to come sit in the bench and they should be there going to be a delighted for a club level that he is not going to the there one pitch by Morocco. He can come in and start pre-season and get a pre-season under his build. Joe Eustin mates and hopefully have their ground run and obviously it's disappointing for the player that he's not there but it's part and parcel of a difficult ball in these tournaments doesn't it but the need of Rangers always has always the need for the individuals as far as I'm concerned and we've had more chance of news or came out in Friday. Kieran Wright has joined Earthry Onions on a season long one deal so 25 year old right you head to to North Financial to play in a championship this season he's already had one spells at the rise of the bottom a war athletic and a party fissile so I mean just just said they wish him all the best for his time at Israel and so I a well-run club a club who were quite unlucky in the playoffs last year they played a really decent style of football playing out for the back which is something that I don't think a lot of people's experience on loan I think when they go to you know go in maybe like I said the bottom of it then because both Robyn McCorley and Kieran Wright spent time there and it's just bomb bar deep with short after short and really really taking in the challenge of being a good shortstoper. Kieran Wright will still get that. Earthry on the whole beaters but equally he will have to learn how to spray the ball out to his center half and the field backs as well because Lewis McCab really does like that style of football he likes you know he likes to play the game I sit on a certain way so I think that will be good for Kieran Wright also myself and Scott Young spoke about Kieran Wright over the last week or in the news board it was a lot of young decent keepers Mason Munn was by the nose just both out in well by the nose just grown out in law and Mason Munn just signed a long-term contract as well so Kieran Wright I don't know if he will be the long-term answer I thought Robyn McCorley was the better keeper he's already been moving on but maybe a year old playing at the high end of the championship competing for a title and you know playing for a club that maybe or playing for a club that will stretch him in terms his development that will be interesting to see how he gets on so all the best of Kieran Wright and that means once Robyn McCorley goes Rangers are in the market for a full-choice goal will that be something like Mason Munn will be bearing in an experienced head who knows although there will be something else been promoted from the youth ranks speaking of the youth ranks it's meant to be my next update that we've seen from Rangers over the weekend and that was Rangers confirming the B team and under 18 pre-season specials so the B team will play three home games first one tomorrow at home to Black Crow under 21s a week tomorrow at home to Rhodes United under 21s and on Sunday the 21st of July they'll play Gates Head first team so the kickoff times and the location for these Tuesday the 9th of July Ranger they play Blackpool under 21s at 3 p.m. at the Rangers turn and center our week tomorrow Tuesday 16th of July the play originated under 21s a 1 p.m. kickoff at the Rangers turn and center and then Sunday the 21st of July at 2 p.m. kickoff at the Rangers turn and center against Gates Head so if you're like me the Gates Head one will be the one that you're working to go to um it's hard to get away if you work off the off the off the off the off the off the off the off the off the off then you can get yourself off the off the off the well be a game and Saturday the 27th of July at one Rangers B team will play one at Envapark and that's a 3 p.m. kickoff so for then in over an Irish bells I want to get the facts obviously the uh the first team will be playing union Berlin and that day as well but if you do what I see Rangers in action and you're not getting over A, A, G, I mean then when you're in Northern Ireland 3 p.m. at Envapark they're playing one first team the under 18 fixtures so um the under 18s played one under 18s yesterday at the Rangers turn and center come with that and I'm in it but their fixtures are Saturday 13th of July they travel down the Arsenal under the 18s and they play at London corner uh with a half 11th kickoff Tuesday they're 16th of July they'll be at the Rangers training center playing with United under 18s and 11 a.m. kickoff and then Friday the 19th of July at the Rangers training center they'll be playing West Ham under 18s and that's a 1 p.m. kickoff so we'll keep you posted and all these fixtures as they come through that first game against one under 18s it came out Rangers 5 1 now so well done to the young bells um goals from Josie Caleria worst your Aida Mcallian at Airean, Aaron and Alfie Hutchison getting the goals so well done to the young bells um and getting the first preseason game off to a fire obviously um there was a bounce game for the first team as well I said the first team it would have been I'm sure the first team players and beating players and it's been very hard to get the lineup for this um so we know that Rangers played Hamilton in the bounce game they won 5-2 and they role-scrollers were Ross McCour's won Celio Desos, Todd Campbell and Scott Wright's score too but we don't know who actually featured in the game um I with them so um this was uh again we get minutes in the waves before they travel to the Netherlands and also the before of the Netherlands yesterday so there's been a lot of chat about who's involved in preseason who's not does that mean they're going or does that mean they're not going um the rumors for Scott Wright gonna Sheffield Wednesday are really intensifying and there's chat coming out from Northern England that'll be done this week and Celio Desos uh will still watch as if you'll be moving to Greece so just because they featured all the features at preseason doesn't mean that they're not going to go anywhere they club need to plan for the worst that these players are coming here and they do need to you know make sure that the the players are still keeping in good shape so that they you know that they're appealing to other other teams um if Celio Desos is a strawberry for example we're banished from training then it's probably going to put potential suitors off so it's it'd be very abnormal for players growing out of the door not to be training at all and if it is going to be a cut of weeks until signings are confirmed then of course they need to be traveling every season and training with the first team until they move on also bear in mind um Amsterdam is one of the main hopes in Europe for traveling so it wouldn't surprise me if there was potential suitors and agents and using this as a as a bit of a pit stop for doing their deals um so yeah i wouldn't be there too much who's who's been featured on preseason who's not obviously if I was asking to tell him there James for the competitive season ahead and rangers from that the first old firm clash of the shortest premiership season will be alive in tv cover me short uh you know i'm shook with the strike sports of picked this one but basically that means it would be moved from the Saturday to the Sunday so it's moving to Sunday the first of September and it'll be a half-12 kickoff when rangers go to park head for the first old firm game of the season and i would expect that all the old firms will be like that this season but basically we just need the confirmation to come first so we know if it's going to be in the Saturday or the Sundays but the first one will be this sunday uh half-12 kickoff liveness guy the rangers women's team um got confirmation of who they'll play in the champions league qualifying round if they won't see see themselves get into the champions we proper so they will be playing Arsenal in the first game and i say in the first game basically the drawers are split into many tournaments and each many tournament will have four teams two semi-finals the winner of each semi-final will go in and play the final and the winner of said final will progress into the champions like proper the will be our first place playoff game which means nothing so don't know why they do that but every team will get two games under the bill and this will be played all four games will be played at the same venue so rangers games will be played at Meadow Park in London and they will play Arsenal in Wednesday the 4th of September the other semi-final will be played at the same venue in the same day and that will be a theoretical moderate against Rosenberg so the third place playoff and the final will be played at the same venue or in Saturday the 7th of September ticket policies and match times of still to be announced and that should be updated in the next shorter days but what's that mean for the angels that's a really difficult draw they really is obviously we've seen the standard event figure when we played them a couple of years ago and I would say a theoretical mid-to-red will probably be the same out or as Ben Ficke in terms of luck quality in the state of play Arsenal are the step above them again I think it's a really difficult draw so we will have a gasp for the stranger side but senior fans of time there's a one-off game so we we don't you know it's not let's not go into the 50s the the the the angels players the finish the season on the high they're playing with confidence I do think the native team are up at the back and we're the goalkeepers I'm be able to take our chances if they're going to get anything against Arsenal but that's a long time away and the fourth of September so hopefully we can get the sign-ins wrapped up get the short set we can get the we campaign off their fire before they go and play Arsenal ready so you know more on that as it comes through and we'll hopefully have some different report there as well cover on the game for you but that will do me for the small info so what's happening on the podcast also the news will come every morning at 9am wherever you get your podcast and last night myself and David were joined by Doug from the Angels jungle as we went through the hands of your money signing and what that means for the forward areas and we went on a high horse and had a good old ground with John Bennett and the lack of updates on the corporate road shenanigans so go and get that wherever you get your podcast until tomorrow morning folks where one of us will be back giving you an update I bet you are very very happy Monday and I hope your day goes well take care
