A few live, on our usual slot every Thursday at half eight. My name is Colin Meantoff. I'll be your host this evening and I'm delighted to be joined by my two most favorite guests. It's become now a wee bit of a regular three owners. First of all, it's a wee change of scenery for Andy. You've got an empty, I believe. So you're recording for your mom's dad's bedroom. Is that right? All right, so my dad's office, which I remember about it from my college, from home during lockdown days of my dad and he's more than meeting, shooting at his co-workers, so we're skiving. But there'll be no skiving for me in the pod tonight. I'm happy to be here, as always. And yeah, looking forward to it tonight. I might not be in the striving, but I'm sure you might find a reason to show to myself and the other guests we have. It's a fabulous day, how are you doing this evening, my friend? Yeah, great, thanks. Still sunny here, so I'm enjoying the sun. You can see I did put the lights on because I was on my day before. Look, a couple of weeks ago, and I ended up like a wizard. You couldn't see me anymore, so I thought I'd put on the lights, even although it is light. But nice to be able to call and thanks for the light, man. No, it's good to keep my wee bit of routine. So you'll give us your weekly update on the weather. I'll give you the weekly get up here because it's pushing down in Glasgow. So it's nice to be consistent, David. Last but not least, of course, I will tell the listeners who are watching along on Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter. And of course, everybody else watching or listening after the fact on the audio platforms or on YouTube afterwards. I call to your arms as always if you can find a link, I subscribe on YouTube, I follow on Twitter, even the Audrey, Twitter, share it, or get involved in the comments. That would be much appreciated. So it's been a bit of a slow news week. We've just been waiting on Rangers Day and Hangs and Andy. I go the butterflies in my belly when my phone flashed up. You tweet from our Rangers FC and it was the narrow saying how happy it is to be back. The Rangers Twitter admin obviously is bombing us all up. No one found where we weren't a nice new shiny sign-in. What's going on? I mean, yeah, I see that as well. It's getting worse. I think I need to turn notifications off of my phone now, to be honest. So just when I do kind of scroll and see it, I'll be surprised. But yeah, it's something behind the scenes is taking the piss tonight, I think. But I suppose it'll just make it even better when it's announced. Especially if I'm sure we'll come on to the news that our boy is in the Morocco Olympic team. So I mean, you may actually be here for half this season. Also means I don't need to watch Morocco and the Olympics play football. So do you guys are positive? Absolutely, and David, we may as well jump in it out then. So you broke this evening that Hamza Igammani is not in the Moroccan Olympic squad. And it's filed even more speculation. It's going to be announced in the next couple of days because what would have that range has made that a requirement for him saying that, not for him saying it, but after you put a paper, they put a ball corner up on it because it's not a U.S. or a FIFA competition, the parent club can't do that. That will stop any pure reactions to, you know, threading forward for saying the boy doesn't even make down the 23th world, especially if we don't want him. That would be why he's not saying it. That's just a matter of time. But what do you think the way he is announcing this boy from Morocco, David? Well, there was one time that he was supposed to be in Hull. It was me, but from the stories I've been reading today that he was actually in Glasgow. So I really don't know what you would think. I have during the week that they had all, everything had been agreed. Terums had been agreed, the price had been agreed. And then all of a sudden, the papers are coming away with me today. They're still going to be going into negotiations. So I don't know what to believe. I don't think that's the thing. We're angels now, Colin. I don't think the way I want information. And everybody sort of throws something out and it comes on forward or whatever. The Rangers review, they seem to be put out a lot of stuff. And it's about girls' wings and arms and legs. Sorry, doesn't it? And all of a sudden, everybody's thinking it's true. Well, well, there's absolutely nothing signed, sealed and delivered. And we all know until something signed, sealed and delivered. There's always a chance it all fall through. If I was really quick with the technology I would have talked to you, Steve, you want to go over the background? Yes, I see the level. Anyway, you're showing your age, Colin. You're showing your age? I'm trying to listen to my bell tone, to be honest with you. I used to go back to last week, I got one. So on your point, David, I find Rangers do what more of them, whether you stay, they go out, the Rangers review, forwards, and they do get snappers of information. And that's part, we've been privy to information through friends of friends. I used to get a lot more than what it did a couple of years ago. And I find that does add a few to the fire because when other hours wake, you wake up the sun, the football, and so you know whatever. When they know information is getting out of Rangers, it's much easier to say, I saw, told me, and made up story, like, you know. And I suppose it's a cash 22 for being a Rangers fan. And I think it's very, very Rangers podcast that you want something to talk about. But it was quite nice to do that, if I season when nothing go out, it's worth zero, and all the Rangers, Twitter, I don't understand. Yeah, I mean, I just can't show us how we are, is that we get both sides of the coin, we're not happy with either. We want more, but we don't want rubbish, you know. I get it, I get the frustration, and I think we're going to talk about it later on. The, just our kind of activity, and this kind of transfer window, as a whole, including outgoing, so I think it needs to be a serious conversation. I don't know about outgoing, it's just as much as incoming. I know there was lots of, it felt like there was lots of clothes getting chucked around a couple of weeks back, you know, your Garcia's, your Cabernet's, and all that kind of stuff, and obviously with those are falling through, and it's kind of gone quiet now. But I think we should equally be focusing on the outgoing as much growing coming. David, we said, we asked this last week. The last time I was growing, I said, he's icing fine too. The last time I was watching on YouTube. How are we doing in terms of the transfer window? We're another week on, and nothing has happened, so I think last week, growing back to the board, we were there to speak about, it's been a decent enough start. The window's no long opened. Yes, we need to get more experience with them when they start moving players out. But since we last had this conversation seven days ago, nothing's happened. Has it got your finger out time yet, Rangers, or do we still have time? And to put this in context for five weeks away for the season's time. Yeah, well, the big thing for me is, well, obviously the week as well, but we're going to be going to Europe with a team that has played with beside each other. And that's a big worry for me. Vermont has already said that it'll be very overbearing, and experienced players. No, I think we will. From the years that you brought this morning, the Kenny McQueen deal had fallen through. I don't know whether you'd have further down the goal, but the Kenny, although I've seen the Stevie Fourlads, he was saying that it still thinks it could be life on it. So this is another one of these things, people hear things, and yeah, it's sort of a nobody knows exactly what is happening. But not that. I think it's going to come down to the wire, but to get employers, obviously you're still with the European Championship, so where a lot of people, even although they might not be playing, there's a lot of footballers there that are just there to watch. Watch the teams from Holland or from wherever. Not from Scotland, they're anywhere I do think. I'm not worried that the players come in. Oh, and I'm not worried about that. But the time lapse, that no players are playing, not playing with each other like that, that's sort of what he's doing. I mean, we still don't know where we're going to be playing, do we? We haven't even got a ground yet. Come on, it's a favourite scene where we'll play them in a car park. Well, I might be worried, isn't it? I know. I'll come in at the moment, but the lack of optics for the engineers, the silences left, shall we say. But Andy, you're probably more level-headed than myself and David, because you do lead to the name, I'm getting ancient now, well, that's right here. As a panic stationer, I think, I don't want to say panic stations, but really, I think you need the least four weeks for any key players coming in to really gel. So, if we are going to say that a main man is a number nine, we want the least four weeks under the belt for this season. Yeah, as soon as I do work, I think that's the best we've seen. I don't think it's panic stations yet, but I think it's definitely heading that way. I think you're going to spawn with the striker especially, and we know how much of a I'll say problem area it was last season. It was to some, it was the worst thing in the world. That position for us to some people last season, and not to big out an issue to some others, it just kind of shows how we can have divided our crew can be at times. But I think the worrying thing for me is the fact that it's got right to be able to run out the door so far. It is the closest to be out the door so far and we're getting closer to the start of this, kind of our friendly games in the start of our seasons. Which if you told me that a couple of months ago, I'd be telling you. So, is this the first in the month of July and was already head everybody out in June? Or, but if it is the case, and he's off the chef Wednesday, I've got some mates down there, and I was saying to him, he did does a podcast himself. I was saying, if you want me to talk about score right a while, there might not be the nicest things you want to hear about a new signing, but I'll give you the honest score point from a dangerous standpoint. The fact is, you've still got these guys that we're talking about, or they need to go, they need to go months ago. They'll hang on and it's really kind of slowed down in the outgoing talk, just as much has been in the incoming talk, you know, the golden tab with to go with Gerald's chain of quieted down, and I'm not going to say that you're wrong calling because you're stuck by your guns at Tabsovsky, and I believe you. I'd have no qualms in backing you on your sources, but it's the, I'd like to see this scarf picture for him at another club first before I come into where we're moving in at the right direction. But yeah, it's, we're not at panic stations yet, it's like the deaf call meter and the pentagon were slow ahead to the more dangerous side of things, but we're not there just yet. I'll be honest, we're calling, I'll be absolutely sure that double weaves, I just don't see him, or even I think we're stuck with him. Lock his right here, come baby, nice equation. Yeah, that's what I mean. I thought you were, who is kidding though, what is it, who is it? Yes, I've had a good question, but I do, I just don't see him even because we want some, and he's on a wage that he's probably not going to get anywhere else, so I just think we're stuck with him for the duration of his contract. So I think it would be a lot of bad news. We're reaching a positive on this part, but there's almost so much we can go over, the XYZ player has to go and there's no harm, Jay, and we need the XYZ player to come in. So that says a conversation point, we've kind of touched on, but it's probably the only thing that's happened, and, and Rangers won over the last seven days, and not as young as RJ, like you're sporting a coin, no one has said in the European Championship, so. And then we have touched on over the last sort of weeks, and I, I think I have spoke to yourself and David, but this as well, having Lawrence and Camwell in the same conversation as RJ. So Gianna Saje is not himself, no harm in, in the Euroz. Todd Cantwell's agent has been basically tied, partnered with Facebook Marketplace, and that's all about spells and of Todd Cantwell's, Rangers cheerio, I'm being honest. Tom Orleans, we know we need to move on, and I don't think the manager is. We'll be working to keep him, so the fun of this window goes without doing too much. Gianna Saje seems more likely to be an angels player than she is. I mean, as someone who supports Gianna, I'm not too bothered about that fact. I think I'm more concerned of the antics in which, you know, the Todd stories is kind of rolled on. I think, I certainly was a while ago that the Lawrence kind of rumblings that he's been told to find a new club came out, and we've not really seen any, you know, links, linking them apart from my supposed project task to, to go with geo. But that even that's quieted down. I think it's almost like, I don't know, the Wi-Fi, these, these, these, uh, newspapers, you know, offices have gone down, and they've been trying to press send on the, the links that I've been popping up in the headline. So last week, and it's just not been going through, because it has just slowed to a halt. But I suppose it's like, it's, that, that position is just the same as it is, you know, it's, you can, you can chuck Cantwell, there Lawrence and Haji, you can talk about Golden Davies and Potentially Sutter, you can talk about half a dozen players across the park where you go. All three of them could be on the job and block. Um, it's, I think it's just the, the culture nature of the rebuild. Um, I, I certainly have been enjoying watching. Oh, I, I enjoyed watching Yannis, uh, and paying attention to Haji watching the Euros. Um, they've ruined his nice hair to be further away. That's it. I know he would have put a lot of effort into that. He has his initials on his hairband. I don't know if he noticed. He has IH and he's, he's red hairband. And, uh, I didn't know. I didn't know it because I didn't know where it worked when I seen it. That's why. It was, it was being a luxury player and having your own headband, uh, like that. So, um, but now I'm, I'm okay with Yannis. Uh, if it's, if that's the case that he goes back, um, and you know, if he mistakes a claim on the team, then, then yeah, I'd be happy with it. But as I said, for a few of these, can I guys, um, you know, the Lawrence account, where was the Haji's? It's, uh, interesting to see what the Gaffa thinks of him with a pre-season. And again, this, the, the sparks, the whole thing of players coming back from the Euros, or let's come back for the whole, these, how much of that pre-season time will it get and, well, that influence how long the Gaffa has to make his decision on whether or not it's a, you know, a sale or a, a, a keep job, you know, David, I know you've spoke about the Haji and all being quite as mobile as we like in that number 10 position, but I do think, but we need a player workout, but do need a player workout, and well, how much it features is a different story. Um, it is more creative than, well, you can't talk, well, I say it has more creative than the majority midfield attackers that we have. Um, do you just, wait, what's the way that's when there was Pan and MTC, Ham, Bean, Party, let's find us for a nice year. I think Rangers are one to cash in and I'm calling. I'm going to be honest with you. I think it, it played the first half. Okay. Uh, the game, the last game he played, but the same half he was running a book ahead was checking, it wasn't, it wasn't very good. So I, I was trying to change my mind. I said last week, I, I was sitting in the fence and then I came down and said, no, I want him to stay. I'm afraid with the performance. I saw you on the week. I just, uh, went down another side of the fence, but I just didn't think he was good. All people have opinion, by the way. Oof, shot is fired. I would say that it was Holland. It was playing. Um, I think that's one thing. Holland are no good. I don't think it's Holland. They're good, but they're not like that. Holland are, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're probably a bit better now, but, uh, actually, uh, I, I was, I was, uh, kind of early in the second half. I don't know. I think, uh, I think Romania were, they took a guy took a knock and they were playing down at 10 men. And it was, it was tough seeing, you know, the ballway implied inside the yannish and denser done freeze, making the boat and running behind, but I suppose that it's no surprise when he's getting beat in a foot race, whether we're not going to sugarcoat and say he's only four seconds off a world, you know, a world record of the hundred meters. But in reality, he's, he's really released, not gifted in the past apartment. Yeah, so I was running the whole thing. It'll be a nightmare for me because I have everybody, I'll be hearing all about it. That'll be a, a shocking, a shocking thing for me to happen, but, um, yeah, I know. I suppose it's all the best of them. So Andy, um, David mentioned, I came in the hole and I'm going to take that and raise it to our hoses if went is because we do still have him on a books that Teddy Bell, um, has been nice enough to remind us of. Remember him, like, surely he's another one though. Well, I was going to say that we'll move on, we'll work to move on, but I suppose it's back to that question. He he's a once fellow cuz everyone might absolutely cast a month, even as well at all. So he's not really going to be, like, batting away the suitors to come get him, I don't think. I'm not known for it. Well, I was going to say I'm not known for hot takes, but I'm still so standing behind, you know, grabbing my tondo for a whole season there. But here's a hot take for you. James Sands was a better ranger signing than Hoses if went is. That's your hot take for the human folks. Um, and we paid what three million for Hoses if went is. You've basically just done the equivalent of saying go in my shape, does this matter as bad as yours? That's, I mean, what? No, but you think of how bad James Sands got up here. You think of it how bad James Sands got up here jumbo? Am I some? I think I was a player in there, but I've been there. I've been known for, you know, the last standing for some people. No, it never given up on people, but yeah, it would be a very, very difficult, you know, a way to say it either of them have been, you know, you'll set the world early at the time at the club. Remember when Michael Beale said that he was going to take us to the next level? Yeah, just to make just those tonight feel a bit better. Yeah, but he never said the level was up or down. We found a new level below. Was it a team in what a C team and a D team, I suppose. We could have starred in that F team potentially, but yeah, I think he's definitely one that really would be putting to the unwanted lust and football manager and getting that director of football to punt him at any value. But yeah, it's just another one of these ones where it's not worked out and good widdens when he moves on somewhere else. David, I was trying to play devil's advocate and they're both sides of the argument. I'm really, really still running. I find an argument that I spend all the whole system when it's coming back. I mean, because of your 12 minutes coming in and saying that the Brazilian needs a higher standard. I'm sure as we go, that's fair enough. I'm not having smoked my drawers arguments and we've had much worse over the years because that just basically leaves me saddle. I'm really kind of in the reason for hoses if when it's tested around. I suppose one thing we could say was he was brought a very perfect performing range of side. He barely got a handful of games really, so he may not have had a proper chance as a matter and kind of look at him in pre-season. I think he's always better and maybe having a look at him. But sometimes he just didn't look like it. He was a football player, didn't he? That was a couple of nice things he'd done. But over the average, I was saying, is he a professional football? No, and it's going to be difficult when somebody's running a bootline on Braille over his head, when he's playing a game. That's going to be difficult because it doesn't seem to like our weather. No, it's a... I don't think there's a lot of equipment. That was the away-before-climate command. No, no, he was here under football, but not for very long. So, football came on on in October. So, when is the negative of January? So, he's one of the... Well, I think that says everything we call when I thank you if I answered him, he would have kept him and tried to defend him in a good direction. I obviously didn't think that. And obviously, the boy wanted to go back to South America. So, I've got a... I've seen somebody saying the market points on Facebook. They've got in Holland. They've got a giveaway corner. What? Where he can give away things for nothing. So, I think that's where you'll probably find him. The thing I would say about it was that, and I know it was very ill of those at the time, but when we played PSV in our Champions League qualifier, it was almost as if it was really shown that he didn't... he had no experience playing in the kind of European style of football. It was the... It was shown the fact that it was like, he never played the game before, but it was very much the... This is a high-class European team. He's never had the team play against him to this quality, and it really looked like he struggled. And I think that, I mean, I don't think many of our players won individual battles across that tie, because it's just how good PSV were, but he'll really look like he was getting shown up. That was a kind of red flag at the time, and then it just kind of... I don't know if that kind of stayed in his mind that maybe this isn't... This isn't my label, maybe this is something I can't get used to, or I don't know. I just didn't see my work from then on. I watched him and they are the South American of the M.L.S. Champions League. He was playing in the fight, you know, I think it was, and it was absolutely hopeless in as well. It didn't do anything. So I just... And that's when he was having his temperatures, his... And with the team, he knew everybody, and he just didn't perform there either. So I just don't see, but I don't see quite my mind bringing him back, to be honest with you. I think he will disappear into the Sun's sunset. Yeah, I think it's one thing to keep up well there and know, and know I haven't featured much, especially when it's just arrived, and then maybe the next season he can, you know, he settled it. My dad works in B2B marketing. He came by my school for career day and said he was a big row as man. Then he told everyone how much he loved calculating his return on ad spend. I think it tells us all when he in orbit with some warm-ups as well. It's one thing. Getting blown down, it kind of suggests, doesn't suggest that, "Oh, right." And there was the call to the master. The manager doesn't see them and the team walked in. So for a question, and I think it's a very, very, very good question that your mother was asked. And I think it's maybe quite important that we caveat this way, expectations for the transfer window. What do you class as experience players, age or appearances? So I want you to answer first, man, then what would your class as an experience player? It's funny because you can, what we're finding in football these days is the fact that the game's per season is getting longer. I mean, that was something like the crazy statistic that paid away from Spain by the battle. So when I played something like 70 games in the season, I was at 70 games and she's meeting in all comps and then in all international competitions. So you're talking that you could have somebody that's a younger guy, but he's played a lot of games for these ages. That could be classed as, you know, experience. But to me, when I see a bit of experience players, I want the Rangers. I want to find your kind of scot a few types of players, you know, it either have a link to the club or know the team that I've went off and had to say, so we could do somewhere else bringing them back in the older spectrum. I don't know, Scott, he wasn't that old. But that's probably the way I'm seeing it. I'm seeing the I'd like there to be some sort of link. So I have effectively just told you that I would like Ken and McLean to sign, which I'm not going to lie to you and say I don't want that to happen. I would be quite happy with something like that. Because as I stated in the past, when we talked about the rebuild last season, obviously it's now been pushed back a year to this season. It's nice signing 21-year-olds, 22-year-olds that have come out of academies across the world, but you need to have guys that know the standards, able to drive the standards every day and training, and making sure that these youngsters don't get the wrong idea that you can be horrible, you know, in these smaller games as long as you win. I mean, I get that three points, three points, but we should be doing better than just hanging on, like, in some of the games we were towards the end of last season. I'd take a one now, I'd take a one now against this team. That's not acceptable, but if we really want to be going ahead and towards titles, we need to be winning games and doing it comfortably, and I think having your guys, like Kenny McLean, I know it divides opinions, but your Scott R. Fields, those kind of guys in the team, your Stephen Davis's, who know the club, or have played at the club, in Davis's case, to drive the kind of day-to-day level and the mentality. Before I ask David the same question, quite one of you Andy, Kenny McLean's not the only type of well there that you've described. It's your answer, if it's a good age, you'd experience no fans out for the border, would you take them? I wouldn't get penalties at Rangers, would they? I suppose that's one of those things. I mean, if you can't get penalties for Scotland, he's not going to get them for Rangers. I think he's a good player. I think there'll be certain games against him when I'd see him, and he'd be strong and powerful, and I suppose it would certainly cause a bit of uproar, and I'm happy for that. I bet I'm happy with that kind of nittiness about that. We've nicked something that you thought was great, and he's now ours. I bet for that, but I can't see I've looked at them, I don't know what the contract's like, I don't know if he's out of a contract, I don't know if we're going to have to pay fees, I don't know where you'd be wanting, but in general, I wouldn't be too upset about it. Yeah, it just goes in, it goes in for a conversation, would you take them so far, be in the sport. David, I'm running for the same question to you that was put in by Kevin Mulliver. What did you ask as an experienced well? So, Kevin's asked age or appearance about what are you looking for when we talk about bringing in an experience? Well, the first thing, I mean, obviously, Rangers have offered McQueen according to the rumors, had offered McQueen a deal that he didn't find warming off, and that was what I said last week, or when we remember, we're offering him how he's 32 now, and we're offering him a contract probably two years, he probably wants three or four years. So, he's going to be 34, 35, 36, when he's finished that contract, and I just think that that's too far for somebody in the engine room. Well, you've got a David Weir, who I didn't tell you was 41, I think, and that's sort of a sweeper role in the days. I don't think you can, I don't think you can stay to 36, 37 in the engine room call, and then maybe some players can do it, but I just don't, I wouldn't want to take that gamble. So, what is an experienced player? Well, I don't think experienced players are getting really, really younger. I think that now, there used to be between maybe 26 and 30, they were at the peak, but I think that the peak is far younger now, I mean, you could, you even get a 16 year old boy running about in a champion, the European championship. So, I think, I think it's getting far younger, I think the game is getting far more physical, and I don't need physical and have tackles with that, but I think it's, you've got to run, you've got far more, you've got to, I mean, see the amount of tackles, I can never remember anybody when they tackle, when I tackle them, or they tackle me standing in somebody's foot. See the amount of fouls now, and yellow cards for standing in somebody's foot, it's absolutely, I've never seen that before, own goals as well, that's, I've never seen that in their own goals, I'm getting sport just now. But it's just because the game is becoming so fast, even, I mean, I think you've got to ask, in the human body, still keep up with it, the rate that football's going at now, come on, it's saying that it was like a preseason, the worst players, they'd have a good preseason. So, I don't know, I just think, I think it's got a preseason, where are the, it was a good, I don't know, it's helpful debate, they had a preseason. Yeah, well, I mean, Gio was sort of famous, but, I mean, in the virtual, all the players said it was far too easy, and then, to go back to Jock Wallace, he had them running up, Gawain Sands in the beginning of the season, and I can't remember, I was, I was reading a journey meeting the ads, I said, they loved it, they thought it was great running up the sands, they knew they were fitter than everybody else. So, I think, as I say, I think the human body, I mean, you've got players, we'll get Ronaldo, I think the guys just making a three-way self now, out in the champion, the European champions, and I think it's an absolute shame for such a good player, but I just don't, I don't think he should have been there, I can't believe that Portugal have not given better players now, is that a two-year-off a statement? I don't know, I don't know how he's ended up in Ronaldo, but Andy, I think, he's not the experienced, we're going to be able to acquire it, I'd say that right, yeah. No, I think it's probably a bit unfair to say Ronaldo's main player, I feel him, so I get the point in your main way, the game's becoming more intense, right? So, the 90 minutes on the patch, it's quicker than what it's ever been, and there's more games more often, absolutely. But I think, for Ronaldo, let's know, let's not be out in the bush, he's still at the level, right? Where he should be starting at the game football, I don't know, I think so, that's some story but it should be at the Euros, I think, but bringing it back to Kevin's question then, I don't think we need to be focused on Edge, Edge doesn't necessarily bring you experience, I was just learning, and I know what I'm saying, it always failed to sing, but with Ferguson is 24-year-old, right? And he's played 251 single games, and like that, obviously, you're getting more game time with, with him in a game's play than a season, but I'd rather game time over calendar years, and I'd rather experience on the patch and then time and I say off when we're looking for experience, that will be more valuable, because I don't know, I do think he would, he's played a lot of it already, but we don't need to just be gaming for 30-year-olds or 32-year-olds, there will be more of them who have more experience than 22-year-olds, but we should be looking for what they've actually done in a patch, and for what period of time, no other Edge, so Kevin, I hope that answers your question. Any challenges in that, boys? It's a good battle between, you know, the ages guarantee of experience and youth, no guarantee of innovation, I'm kind of happy with Connor Barron is one of these players that fits the kind of, he somewhat fits that bill, that he's a younger, he's on the younger side of it, but he's just said I really kind of, kind of, did break out last few scenes, and I know there's the whole thing, I've already barely broke out of the game team last season, but come on, we know how long Rangers were interested in that boy, and Aberdeen would not want to play them, it was something definitely going on, he could play in some of the tougher games, especially in their European campaign, he made some really good strides, if he were to have told them, right, you're going to go to the Rangers next season, get you working in these kind of games, it certainly made a good impression of my opinion. I think a player like that, where you've, he's come off of a kind of break out year, so to speak, if you're going to find those kind of players where they've just had that kind of starting gig, and especially for us, you know, he had that he tried his hand in the European competition last season, I know it was the UEFA Conference League now, as it's the third, what's it going to be after that one, it's like a seventh European competition, it's like Rangers in fourth shots, isn't it? The UEFA Conference League, but I think that's a player that also fits my kind of a, you know, bow is those kind of players, come off a kind of good break out year, and especially if we can find more of these kind of European tried players, and I think that would suit us down there, I think it'd be a really good, you know, that launching point for his Rangers career, and I'm really looking forward to seeing kind of burn this season and this season beyond. You know, another one calling that people were saying that he's too young, they shouldn't have been a team, it's a yes day, I would tell it, you know, the fact that for all of them coming in today, he's really, I broke inside or something like that, and he's a big unit, I really don't want to see, I mean, have you even worked at the but the boy, the 18 year old point for Turkey, when the midfield was one of the best players in the tournament up till now, so I don't want to see that bringing a 20 year old in this belt, like I'm out, it's going to put him as a beating player for the next two years, I just don't see that, I think you have to be brought in for challenging for the first team place. Again, that I think is experienced, so he may have the physical, you know, the physical stature, it may be very, very, very talented, but I don't think he has, I don't think we can be running for this experience, he's got 40 odd games at all for your level, and that's great, that all for years came in Cyprus, so that is about the balance, in other words, he can't have a team of 18, 20 year olds who are the next up and coming thing, then you can't have a squad of 18, 25 year olds who have been there, done that, know how they do their dark arts, but they can't even save themselves, you know, Scotty and they call me and say the sales are mounted to as well, but I think we've seen these wells because they are decent footballs or they should be, but come on has said that it's focused on the young players we need to get experience into, you know, David, I'm quite sick with you, because you mentioned that at one point I did what I mentioned, and again, so I listened to the big content for you last week, but the more, the more rangers are, wow, that's vacuum, they grow, the more we've got it filled with shape, and that's vacuum as the void of updates that were getting for the stadium, so recap, I've been in this round in the last seven days, the paperwork has been that money filled still in the cards, Hamden is also in the cards, but there's a few complexities where the pitch has to be relayed after the summer concerts and Queen's Park for Home to get it as well, so that's Shoe's paper talk for for saying that the HFA will fit rangers I have to, but I would say we'll use Hamden, club needs to give an update, share it either way, and the fact that everybody was concerned about this for weeks before the club announced it, it was doing it, doing it rounds, then the club announced it, the club gave us half a message, but even at the way they are supplier, the more this one goes on, the worse it gets, we should really be here and for joining Ben is saying at least these are the options, but we should have an answer by A state. Oh, definitely, we should definitely have an answer, I mean, we can't leave it to the last week, okay boys, you turn up at Hamden, I think anyway, it might be more a field, but it probably be Hamden, we can't even get out of that, we've got to know, we've got to know soon, now as you say, but what five weeks away from the competition beginning, and we don't even know where we're playing, so I mean it's absolutely, absolutely crap, yeah it seems to be that they can they can weigh a field now within a, within a half you're pointing it within a few days, so I suppose that Hamden wouldn't be a problem that way, I would prefer Hamden for the simple reason fans don't need to travel through to Edinburgh, I think if you when there are Tuesday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Thursday night game, travel through to America and me, that time and I, I think we've got to know what you mean, Edinburgh, yeah, tram through Edinburgh, and yeah my geography has got one, it's not very good these days, but travel through Edinburgh on that road, it would be absolutely, absolutely murder, I think, so my hope is that it's a very clear Hamden, but it's certainly a useful way to Hamden as well, though one thing that I suppose is that Motifield is that you would have more, more fans getting in, I think at all 67,000 and Hamden would, Hamden would just roll, also round a bit of 50,000, so I think this, so as a fans could say could, we don't have to travel, it would be Hamden would be the best, but I suppose fans getting in, Motifield would be the best. I think, well, I think that Motifield might be more difficult as well, because you've got all these herbs and hearts, fans that might try and upset things, so that, I think, I think police and all of it would be, it's more difficult as well. Andy, I think it's one of these things, I suppose, disruptions will happen when renovations are, but so for me, like a Glasgow-based fan, if I need to go, yeah, Edinburgh through a couple of car thieves that start a season, it's not ideal, but I'll make it work, I'll work in Edinburgh, the world worse than they may. Actually, I would go as a traveling fan, we have a lot of fans coming from Covid-19, we have a lot of fans coming from Covid-19, so a lot will be at the boat, a lot will book fights, and I think we don't do this with two days notice, and I don't think five weeks or six weeks until the Mother Will game, I mean, it's a big difference for some day who's traveling from Northern Ireland to get a fight from Belfast to Glasgow in the National, there's a bit in the National, so I do think we need to hear from the boat Toronto. Well, definitely, I mean, the longer they let this roll on, the more difficult it's going to be and the support, and I think it shouldn't be that far out there to say that, you know, the board of our club, you know, that will be the lifeblood of the club, then you should be doing their best to accommodate us in a situation because it's definitely not ideal for us. I mean, as you said, I mean, that I love him paisley, and I mean, there's support as buses that would take, you know, would take us to I broke, so European nights and those games, I would maybe ditch the car and take the bus, but it's an option, maybe we're going to have to look at again for muddy feelings, and we're going to do that for Manchester United game, so I'm starting to think it's going to be more like a trial run to be fair this Manchester United game. I think I was going to, I was thinking about it whilst I was sitting on mute, there was, it was quickly cartooned by a secondary thought, I was saying this AGM for this year will be like blockbuster, I think you would be getting the popcorn ready for any videos of it, but then I also thought, no, you're going to get half what it's talking about, you know, I bought a top for the other day and the extra price to get the lettering on the back of it wasn't centred, and I would like to have a word with our general manager and our chairman, and we're going to get it drowned out with that, but I think if there isn't questions being asked about this, is like 0.1 through 10, at least on the, you know, the agenda for the AGM, then I would have serious concerns about potentially people inside their club pushing this in under the carpet, that we really don't want to talk about this, maybe the balls up and we don't want to face the, the consequences from our support, and that's, that's just my thoughts on it, I think the key thing is this, you need to start giving us something at least, I don't expect, I'm not expecting you to come into what it's done, that's it sorted, but I like a timeline almost being put in place. Have they started work again? Do they have the mate, the still yet? No idea, David. I utilize the problem, we don't know what's going on, and it will be interesting to see what the fan advisory will, if that, even if that continues after the, after bus drove going, but if they do have the next meeting, what will the, what will the minutes say for that, but I think Ben is too out to the people's, as bus drove was for, so I think it's in a couple of papers wrong for that, and that seems to be, I don't know, that was quick in being in hell, that was timed, but gents, I think we're going to wrap up there, I'm going to ask you both for question, one that I've asked the, the westerners, before I let you go, I won't use to tell me who the worst rangers where I give sin, and I will read out the westerners answers, so where are you have your time to think, just a massive thank you to everybody who's tuned in, watched why, watched after the fact, and wasn't after the fact, and if you can give the like a subscribe, a follow wherever your podcast, it really does, it really does help people grow, and we've, we're nearly 2,200 subscribers on YouTube, we've got quite a good following on page three on, and the YouTube members page, so if you do want extra content for just about a month, then head to the YouTube members page, join now all the patreon, but I've paid for your content, it's not your bad thing, you know, plenty here, so please do give us a like, and I have just, and you have to have five memberships, to five random watchers on the YouTube channel tonight, so, maybe, always a pleasure coming on mate, so give me a good bye, and who's the worst rangers where I give sin. Yeah, Colin, can I just, one more small piece, I want a new director of football, and I'll tell you why, I know that's going to be a shot, but former Aberdeen Chief Executive Keith Winers has bizarrely claimed corner goals and could command a fee of 30 million, if he can do that, that's what I want and his director of football, because I think he deserves it if he can do that, so sorry for swapping that one in, I think the worst, the guy that came, there was two, two players, and I can't remember one's name, but Peter, I think was one, it came with a big, James Peter name, and James Peter, and it was absolutely hopeless, another one was the centre forward from Everton, Saturday to Everton, but I've lost his name now, and he came, yeah, yeah, he was, oh, I'm sorry, I was speaking Dutch to you. I think that's the two that sort of stand out in my head, they came with a big reputation, and they were absolutely shocking my bad. Oh well, it's always good to have joined me, and incidentally enough, Fanny Jeffers was one of his suggestions as well, but always good to have joined David. Yeah, I don't know, it's great being on call, and thanks everybody for listening, and just another, we pushed that David and myself will be recording tomorrow night, for coming out Saturday morning. Maybe, maybe in one pound, I managed to be listening to that, folks, so you've won the yalas too, then I absolutely get all that to you. And always a pleasure having you on my friend, you've brought the banner, you've got to choose me, so who's the worst man, just where you've seen? There was a couple that I was thinking about, I mean, we talked about they are, you know, a big reputation, and Bruno Alway's kind of sprung to mind, you know, somebody who kept saying that he's good pals with Cristiano Ronaldo, he was part of the Euro squad, and so on, for Portugal, and the best thing he did was I'd re-kick and I'd throw against Hibbs at Easter Road in the last game in the season, which meant absolutely nothing. But some honourable mentions, probably Edmuso Cravari, or Juan Ma or Tees, or the two kind of banter era, I think Juan Ma was just before we chucked down. I mean, it was a, I thought, well, when I say maybe it was the same window as Lee Wallace, potentially, I could be talking nonsense, so that kind of time period though, and Cravari was our third division champion. You could actually talk about these nobodies that kind of represented us, I just slipped to the back of your mind for hours. As I said, the banter, yours is kind of my wee house, and looking through the backup programs and going, you would never be anywhere near our team, everywhere, where we should be. Always good to have you on bottom, mate, maybe even if I had a toy, give you a bad PTSD to all the banter years ago. It's all right, I mean, it's something we can look back on and find the humour in, I suppose, but that's why the podcast is so brilliant, and I enjoy those nights, and it's good to always share this kind of pain with our great viewers. So yeah, that was a good time. And we'll give you an episode without mentioning Ian Black. Well, I don't know what to say, because we talked a bit about Jesus Christ, maybe. I mean, I've been building up the punchline, but there you go. But I have a couple of honourable mentions as well. I don't know if I can cross this, but like I said, Danny, I didn't think I was going to mention that. I mean, having these guys never in a conversation when they never had a single game, for a range of me, mate, I'm not talking about that for one of the Patreon shows, but the long term Westerns know my almost obsessive hatred of thinking back to Ian Black in the industrial show, so he hands down and gets it from me. So not very, very, very cheery note. I'll be back on tomorrow morning for the Daily News. Everybody, I hope to see you then. Until then, take care. "Planning for your next trip?
