My dad works in B2B marketing. He came by my school for career day and said he was a big row as man. Then he told everyone how much he loved calculating his return on ad spend. Scott has been three days in our own. It's been a tiny bit, it really is. Yeah, no mate, there's no better way than getting up a day, looking at your face, speaking of brain just so. And actually, I'm going off to a year wake up as well. Yeah, today. Yeah, of course not. Three days on this road and we're getting complacent team. But hello to all the Westerners watching on Facebook, YouTube and 12. If you can give us a like, a follow, subscribe, even the Audrey tweet here, that'd be excellent. And of course, thank you to everybody else listening on the audio platforms after the fact as well. Again, whether you are a podcast, if you can give us a like and a subscribe. Just to call your arms, as always, we've got the link in for Scott's just given page. Old donations from the Mcmillan Council support. So anything where it's a pain area, a pound, it all goes a long way. So anything you can do to support Scott and make his higher oxygen in a while, but easier will be much appreciated. Scott, what's your deal, the training? I've got four phones buying the peel back account a bit. But I've gotten this about half an hour to an hour earlier than we normally do. Yeah, I could have a PT session at nine. And yesterday, I smashed my 5K PB. Got the just things to do, just over 22 minutes, I've been it in. So I'm just going to be happy with that. And my legs are definitely feeling it. Let's put that away. I said this entire time, aren't you? I know. I went into it, even for 22 and a half minutes. And I got 22, 12, I think it was about halfway through, obviously, I could get under 22 here, but it ended up happening. My legs like now, you know, hitting 22 today. So, I know I was good and just keep trading as hard as possible, right? Good on you, mate. Good on you. So, what's not that for you? Well, I get on with the nation a week, good luck message. Then that is more than welcome. So, in today, the Angels News, wasn't it great? So, days for Rangers in the media yesterday, Scott. We'll start with the the long-term targets. That's a long term in the grand scheme of the transfer window. These have been targeted since the beginning. Academy, Crane, and Yusuf Caviday both appear to be off. So, Academy, Crane, we've supported that. It was interesting coming to the Angels. Rangers will not meet the wage demands. All the way for contact that he was after. And neither said, or when they backed down. So, Rangers don't want to get tied down on an expensive contact or a player that has aged for three or four years. And Academy Crane wants, you know, wants not quite what he's all in knowledge, but closer. Yusuf Caviday is for you. A different where he looks as if he's got his stay in Germany with Alsberg, Alsberg, well, and they pay the money. Caviday, apparently, he's staying there. All ahead of coming to the Angels. So, too fairly big pose in the transfer strategy, I think, Scott. Yeah, but understandable ones. I'll go with it. Academy Clay. I'll stop with the Academy Clay one. Academy Clay's gone with... To be fair, I've got no issue with... I was not signing Academy Clay. No, I came on here yesterday praising... Singing his crazy, saying it's pretty, pretty good. Great saying for us. But we have been bit in the past by saying a bunch of old men. They're just championship on high wages and stupid contract lengths. And we're not meeting that mistake again with... Came to clean. And that's something I'm more than happy with. I like the player. I've been happy with the player. But for our financial point of view, it makes no sense of if he's 1.25 grand a week on a four-year deal. But how does that? Doesn't he help us in the long run at all? And then Caviday. It's... I think that's also one of these things. Is your young player? He's settled in Germany. Maybe he doesn't want to move abroad. And he wants to stay close to home, close to his family. And he can't really be a girl to someone like that. He's what? 19, I think he is. 19.20? Yeah. So... Reingers fans on Twitter are like, "Then, is that the transfer order is going to pop?" If you're going to every transfer window thinking you're going to get every single target you want, then you're going to do it. You're never going to sign every target you want. Because that's how football happens. Something happens, cover some more money, player wants to stay, player wants to do much money. Things happen in football. And we just need to get used to it. We're never going to sign every player we want. So if you're dead, football will be so much easier. You don't even say every player you want on FIFA, or football manager. It's never going to happen in real life either. So... I'm at that. I'm on a morning night with McLean because I don't want to beat him. I have never seen a boy play, so I don't know whether I don't know if he's good or not. But when in the grand scheme of things, there's more footballs out there. Probably better. We can get just a bit better. It's counting. It could easily hit someone better than camerically, or hopefully get better at someone better than Caviday. So at the end of the day, it's just one of these things that happens in football. It always happens, really. You never sign every player you want. And suppose the frustration for a lot of fans is it's not just these two in isolation. We're Mr. and Jose Cartoba, Demingastia, worked as if it was going to be a done deal, and then it happened. So that's quite a few transfer targets. But I think you're ringing what you're saying. You're never going to get every target. And to balance the ones we haven't gotten, we've seen what may be. Five, where a man will be five or six now. So I'm neither up nor down too much alone, Caviday. I think in my career, I can see the real value of him coming in and being a fasting player. But there are all our anime queens out there. I don't think their horse is bolted in the Tansha strategy. We're going missing on our opportunity. Maybe we don't need to change the Tansha strategy. This is different from, like, when the worst fair gets in, we're in for a map, I'll be in the Taperonia and Rangers Master. Or a good example, Celtic had John McGinn in the grasp of the hands, and they were just playing the role ball. This isn't the Rangers play playing the role ball. This isn't the Rangers being sensible with the money, because we can't, we can't even take a gander a week for, and I've not said a gander week. I've just popped out of a mask, by the way. It's just an example. Can you pay 30 grand a week for a kinema claim for four years? Because that gets us into being the highest wage bill, and all these whales on high wages who don't contribute, and we just need to look at last season and season before to see how that pans out. So I don't think we're quite... It's no worse fair, just some values when we should have just opted money a wee bit, and we wouldn't have had a huge superstar cabernet get that, but that's more of a gamble than we're always fair. I guess it was so... I don't know, I'm not really... I'm no too concerned right now, because in terms of Windows, I swear we'll only be known for a couple of weeks. We've grown a lot of players, and there's still a lot of work to get down. Both players going out and coming in. So I think maybe if it does get to the end of next week, and not much more traction has happened, it'll be a squeaky bum time for me. Yeah, I'm with a... sort of back in the cab with the ID. I don't think it is a financial deal with the reason he's staying in jail. And as I said, I think it's just a 20-year-old doesn't want to leave home. I don't know what a beef is far away from his family. It could be something as simple as that. But yeah, overall, I'm happy with the window. As I've said many times, I don't know how good any of these players are, because I've never seen any play football. Like, I see folks writing them off. I see folks saying, "Oh, he's not first choice. He's coming in his cover." You've got no idea, because you've never seen any play football. So I will... I will... people writing have caught popping at the moment. I will only find out how good coping is at his job. And about October, I think, when I've seen all these players, when I've seen a good sample size of all these players. That's when I'll discover how good a deck to football, how good identifying talent, coping, and come on up. So, moving on in the next quarter story, then I opened the board way, it was a birthday in the media for Rangers. And this wasn't just a traditional media. Let's go on to Instagram. So, it's true about the same behavior, blue behavior, and you can absolutely see the type of people to account. Will surrounds himself, right? So, his football agent, Jose Enrique, was kind of an Instagram sliding into DMs. And he thought he was sliding into the DMs all the way to let a coach look at Gotti. And the same had my message, saying that Todd Canwell and one of his other players are available this summer. It wasn't actually where he was at Gotti. It was a fan page and Jose Enrique has just outed Todd Canwell that he's up for the move this summer. By case, I am speaking with Todd Canwell, and Instagram, and TechTalk. I'm going to hand over you, I'm going to wash my walls, somebody's saying this once you're up. I've never, I never Jesus will I start. First of all, I don't think it's possible because I'm being worse at Instagram than Todd Canwell, but I think we've found someone. Jesus. But I think the overall, I think the overall take away the stupid agent. I could, I could like Jose and you hear the fact, well, I thought I'd feed it. I thought it was a decent life pack of them. But that's bad bye. I think the overall story here is Todd Canwell is up for sale. And I think that's probably what we should be talking about more than his agent being stupid on Instagram. Can't well be not for sale. I'm kind of in two minds about this one, because I've always, I've always liked Todd Canwell as a player. I've always thought he's the kind, he's the kind of style of player I've always liked watching. I've always thought he's aesthetically good to watch Todd Canwell, the sort of player sort of trickery. I've always liked that style of player. So I've always kind of had a soft spot for him because he's the kind of player I like watching. But if Clement doesn't want him, and based on what I've heard personally, Todd Canwell's our highest ender, or north of 35 grand a week. So if he's our highest ender, this is all, I'm not confirming your high ender, just what I've heard. If he's our highest ender, and Clement doesn't really fancy, then I think it's, then I think it's best to part raise, because we saw, even we saw last season, old fun games came out and played tough ones. He hooked Cantwell for half an hour of a European game. So he obviously thought, I think it's pretty clear he doesn't fancy Cantwell. So I think getting rid of him probably is the best thing to do, as much as I wouldn't do it, as much as I would like to keep him. If Clement doesn't fancy him, and he got our highest wage, I saw this morning and he was like, don't move to Saudi, but he's like the best growth club, but I don't know if that's just lazy journalism. I think with that one, getting rid of Canada probably is the best thing to do as much as I personally wouldn't do it, and that's not talk about his agent. I think, I think there's arguments for keeping bull, for both keeping Cantwell and moving them on. There's arguments either side, but I think after this, we can argue that he's for the off or the off. It doesn't mean necessarily he'll definitely go, but Rangers are clearly interested in an open table for the offers for them. And then all Rangers will move on to anybody for the late plays. So if the late plays comes in for Jack Button, then Jack Button will go. It's just a sad reality. There's the difference of being the way I play, I have in a plays tag and active way of working for the offers to come in, and I think dole Cantwell falls in there a lot. Also, I'd be very surprised if he's here from the 31st of August. I think that's just too much. Too much point in the, if I do one building just where I'm necessarily just the saw that will break your camel's back. It's just bizarre, man. It's just bizarre. Again, I'd say that when we, when the news of the stadium broke as well, I don't know how we can continue just to be a chambal and then... This is probably the most stuff. I just think it seemed 2012, not 2004. I know I half expected the next AGM and being able to go zero on the patch. The way things are growing, like I don't know how before playing the game of football, we still began continuing to be just fucking suckers. My dad works in B2B marketing. He came by my school for career day and said he was a big row as man. Then he told everyone how much he loved calculating his return on ad spend. My friends still laughing at me to this day. Not everyone gets B2B, but with LinkedIn, you'll be able to reach people who do. Get $100 credit on your next ad campaign. Go to linkedin.com/results to claim your credit. That's linkedin.com/results. Terms and conditions apply. LinkedIn, the place to be, to be. This season, Instacart has your back to school. As in, they've got your back to school lunch favorites, like snack packs and fresh fruit. And they've got your back to school supplies, like backpacks, binders, and pencils. And they've got your back when your kid casually tells you they have a huge school project to do tomorrow. Let's face it, we were all that kid. So first, call your parents to say I'm sorry and then download the Instacart app to get delivery in as fast as 30 minutes all school year long. Get a $0 delivery fee with your first three orders while supplies last. Minimum $10 in order. Additional terms apply. On a, on a dollar, see mother in them. This is an interesting one. Again, it doesn't take much for fans to argue on to what I've seen people saying he should get all this that came for the rest as well. And people like, is he going to get a same secret account? Well, basically, he put up a highlight. Saying last season was one you never forget and there was more to come soon. So we'll be better for teaser. Just to nail my colours to the mask, I will die in this. How have you heard a terrible season for your club? It's absolute tempo to put up a personal highlight reel. I'll be able to wake up Dallasyma but he's getting the same treatment as James Tavernier, Todd Gamwell and John Lanstom. He's a mouthful doing that. However, I would very much like to see him playing football for Rangers next season. So I hope this more to come soon means he's from back to Rangers but I'll give him the card and the stick. I did for going to Instagram with that and please come back. So what's your thoughts and the stroke? All of the above. Yeah, I agree. I think if I gave him a calf and cat mouth stick, one string was a good bye video but it was so stupid. So there's all that red cow challenge in it. What is he doing? I'm always sort of with these videos, I'm always sitting there like. I highly give him a Dallasyma sitting on Samoyo Pro, editing these things. But surely he gets green light of what's going on in his Instagram. Surely someone can look at us and someone's surely an agent, social media person, whoever sends him this video where I'm going to stick this on. Is that all right? He'll go, aye. But take it out. I might argue you, he shouldn't have posted it because we didn't have any league. We won a trophy which isn't a good enough. We bought all the league to put it in to put it simple as possible. Maybe in a cut finder, I thought it was the only place 45 minutes ago. It's this little goal, but you never done much else in the setting out from what I remember. So yeah, he's part of the pro. He's part of the team that bought all the league titles. So he shouldn't be posting goodbye video or this season in highlands, otherwise. But on signing them, I would happily sign up the listening one. Because I want to see you at that. Because we never got to see a team that exists with Cortes on the left and Sima on the right. Or Sima on the left and Cortes on the right. We never saw out, we never got to see a team with those two as outwingers. And that's something I really want to see because I like both of them. I both can compliment each other around. I think both of them can get goals. Some wings, which we've not had. And God knows how long. We've never, we've never, we've not had wingers at Skogos. Round 10 never scored goals. Really, as much as I like Round 10. He was never a ghost coding one of them. So getting wingers at Skogos is what we need to take the burden off. It was striker. Whether that's Dessos Dinalo, I got my name. Mioff's capeshank on to whoever I love is. So if we can get Sima, I'd be more than happy. Because I really like the player. And also, he's still like 22. He's so fairly young. Isn't it 22, 23? Sima. So, yes, he's 23. So get a 23 year old who can get the numbers he can. Who he's had experienced in Europe. He played against us for Slabia Pride. He was at Brighton. He was under good coaches at Brighton. So he's got a wee bit of experience there. And he can come to Scotland and hopefully get the same 16 goals. He got an uncomfortable last season, which for the wingers is pretty bloody good. So, if we can keep, if we can get five, pay five, six million pounds for him, I would break your hand off to take him back. Because I think he can be a massive strip, stringing our boat and our attack next season. I generally think the double trajectory for Sima is very, very steep. And I think in 23 years time, I can see him playing for the top four, top six crop in Germany or France. But I do think he has much potential. And I think we only seen snippets over the last season because of his injury. Even when he's not playing well, he still has an output, which is a very important way to have any crop. And I think he's improved and developed a better player. From the player we've seen, play against the Swaffier player. And I think he will continue. So I would love to be a Rangers runner two or three year. And then we move on for decent money. And he goes on to have a very, very decent career. So just, I don't know, we will be way and see, I suppose, because we spoke with us the last couple of days. It's not just that individual saying, it's a way to contest, say how much early about that we need as well. But just quickly, one last spear wall in the social media ring. We both said that a shooter is shooting. I don't think shooters are right welled for him posting social media because we've got a lot of comments for the rest of us here. I've dialed the same out. I can post whatever he wants in Instagram, and TikTok, and Facebook, or whatever. But when you put something publicly on social media, you open yourself up to criticism. So we are not saying he shouldn't do that. We are just saying, if he does do that, he's opening criticism and criticism is what we are driving them. As long as you're not scared, I've got fans in the comment section. I don't call MDA weapon, many comments there. - What about him? - I mean, I think we have a really decent podcast call. We put up clips of and snap it over in Instagram, TikTok. We get filters as well. We get some nice comments at Palm Pass with social media. So when you do that, you put yourself out there. You do open yourself up. Well, it's really wrong and different. But just please come back. - I'll return, I say, if you just put plenty of paper. Last but not least, I'm from the club, yesterday's show. J-Horegaff, the 20-year-old goalkeeper, will go out on loan to Queen of the South until January. So it's been the same time of the season last year, on loan at the bottom, and helping them get promotions. So now he'll move to recon 1 football, and be the first choice role for Queen of the South. So J-Horegaff, first doesn't mind you remember, his brother, Nicky, was also a Rangers too. So it seems to be very well thought of J-Horegaff, again, 20-year-old. Good to see him getting first in football. So early on, King of the Island, Gregor, Robyn McCorray, a path of definitely own spells, definitely isn't working your way up. Seems to be the part we have for him as well. I also get how many decent young keepers we have, Scott. We've got Badonnaisius as well, we've got Keira Knight in the football choice role, we're doing Mason Munn for the underneath teams. Not only on the complaint, but in terms of J-Horegaff, I'm glad to see he's going to be out playing regular football. Zero runs like him. This makes sense, this game is at a harsh. But I'm just trying to sell players like that. Like, I don't understand why we keep continuing loading players. Like, let's be honest, you just listed them all there. Get Badland, Kaylee, Rite, Mon. This whole guy going to play ahead at any of them? Probably not. When Badland moves on, Kaylee's worth twice. How was then Kaylee? 26, 27? Yeah. So you probably, if Badland moves on, let's say for Tony's sake, Kaylee becomes a first choice keeper. I doubt he will. Badland leaves. He'll probably find someone else. But I don't say Kaylee's a first choice keeper. He'll be a first choice keeper for best part of eight year, which is when you think about he's what, and then we'll go 28, 29. He's never going to be a first choice in just four people. Sorry, that's fucked, I think. So don't see where we can't just look to sell these plills. Get a wee bit of money back, rather than continually loading them out until a contract expires. Because it doesn't help. I think we need them now. We need a send-in for our choice growing. And I'd rather they come for their card made then. We won't spend money on them. So, for Jay Horgath, if we loan him out, until he's 24, 35. At that point, if he's way of regular football, we'll make a decision either. Is there enough to be challenging for the first team position? Or is there enough to be a send-off for goal? And we keep them for that role. If not, we move them on for something between 500 grand and a million pounds. That's exactly what we're doing with Robyn McCrawley. Robyn McCraw has been the same. The send-in choice growing for the last two year. We've no had to spend any money in a send-in choice growing coming in, because we've had it through their card made. And then we're going to move them on for probably about 700 grand. I think that's the path. I would rather those send-in for choice sports come through their card made personally. You only get that with keeping goalkeepers and developing them into the mid-20s. I don't, I wouldn't there like Horgath missing one being send-in for choice. This season, for example, because of the age of 2018. Very, very young for goalkeepers. I think you're right. There has to be a balance. You're right. We can't have such single-key people doing more. I've wasted Horgath but then I was just missing one all very, all very high with thought of. So maybe we're doing the, you know, card awards season one and maybe you're right. But I do, I think it says what we keep a couple and at different stages of, you know, career year. Yeah, I get what you're saying. But Kijosu, you could have, say, well, talking, talking, say, bottling leaves and Kelly comes first choice, which I don't think will happen. But Kelly's first choice. You get right and you've got mine, who's highlighted. He's just been a pretty long young deal at the age of 18. So we must obviously see something. But then, he's a bit anarchist, but somewhat, let's go on. That's called Lewis. At Lewis. I don't know what's last name. Lewis works. I see Lewis is what, he's probably like 18, 19 as well. He's been fairly kind of 18. I remember there was a legend's game. It was actually what was Smith. And I went close to the managers and Lewis played. He was one of the, he was a goalkeeper for like, one of the teams in the same half. So they must obviously rate him somehow. I remember going to watch and I'm about 18 games, and he was always a keeper. He was always pretty good. So I can't see whole guard being ahead of Mann, Wright or Lewis. So a nice small look now that, I thought I don't know how long I was listening to this deal. Unless this deal was up next season, and we're just loading them in, because Karina South can't afford them, which is possible. And they kind of don't have their finances, because they got, they just get really good, isn't they? Yeah, they're on championship. Yeah. So they're finally, they're probably not in the best financial area to buy players. But it's kind of a, because that says in the whole system, loading out, I mean, chose to use the other team, loading out 40 odd players every year. Like, we can't be doing that. I think we need to start selling some of these players that are getting loaned out to clubs at Karina South, clubs at the bottom, that kind of level. I think we could probably look for a buyer, more than loading 30 odd players out of here. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, they, in a pie, their academy system is going to be to make money, because not a very playable maker, and they're just fasting, because they can't that. But it's just back to life. But we're doing need to be getting fees for the players. Don't make it, or if not fees, sell on fees. I mean, I always talk about the, who's in Northern Irish, boy in the midfield of Charlie? So I'm going to move before I stream. Charlie McCann. Where's the Charlie McCann? That rings a bit of pace. So he's, he's your perfect plan B, where your plan A is, players come in, and I always Charlie McCann, I've just struggled. Players come in, and they actually make it, and they're the first team. Plan B is, they won't quite make it, and they're fasting, but you move them on at a fee. And... Lewis Mail, perfect example. Lewis Mail as well. And those I say are on fee as well. So Charlie McCann, we sold them for the 300 grand. I don't know how much we love for Lewis Mail, but they'll sell on fees for both of them. If Rangers make away range, Charlie McCann has fine. You'll not go to sell a player who's no good enough to make any of your fasting. You'll not go to sell them for 12 million, but getting your money back on what you spend and developing them. And then if he does make it for the stream, we get a wee bit of the pie or when it's on for big money, it's hedging your bet. So that's what we should be doing for the players who have been on, they got to make it. But again, that's where we'll be here until next Wednesday, talking about all the things we need to do. A different way, young players, and a euphic atmosphere. Well, well, what do you have? Hi. But that will be a close for today. So it's been a pleasure speaking to you for the last couple of days, mate. Yeah, no, I might enjoy that. And as always, thank you all for listening. Again, throws link is in the description and it gives a wee light subscribe. And most of all, there's nobody thanking the talk points in the comments too. So until tomorrow, we've got an R2 pod zone that's today. The Jamie, John and Graham got together to discuss the euros and how the knockout stages are going. That'll be about a few other ones tonight. And then myself and Anne, they will be on the live stream at half eight tonight. So find out content, come your way folks. So until then, take care.
