My dad works in B2B marketing. He came by my school for career day and said he was a big row as man. Then he told everyone how much he loved calculating his return on ad spend. My friends still laughing at me to this day. Not everyone gets B2B. But with LinkedIn, you'll be able to reach people who do. Get a $100 credit on your next ad campaign. I'm a little bit caught off guard after the news this morning of four. It'll be a nice relaxing Zen podcast. We're nothing much to talk about. Again, to your favorite movie, favorite TV shows, but Rangers had other ideas. Here I thought they're good, bad and different. First of all, the man on the continent, David, how are you? Yeah, fine, Colin. Hello, how are you? How is everybody? Yeah, it's good to be back on a live Thursday night. Again, it's been a while, so I'm looking forward to it. I know it's been a while since you've been on and I just a bit shy myself when you said hello, hello there. Today of all days, we don't need cancelled, David. We do not need cancelled. But Lord, good to have you back on and by popular demand as well with the listeners requesting. I'm also back for the first time in a wee while. I wanted to say attend Andy, but you just look a little bit less see-through after your joys. Welcome back. Yeah, thanks mate, yep. I'm sun shy, you know, I'm trying to buy a shade and stick in it. Yeah, and I'm happy to be back. I'm just, I had to feel there when we played the intro. I'm like, oh, I'm going to need to get rid of that because they're going to be leaving. I want to get some new signings in there. It's going to make a lot of work before the start of the season. But in due course, I'd say potential outgoings and potential incoming is working and I'm sure I can work on something. So, yeah. Back to business. Yeah, I'm sure we will get there. And last but not least, hello to all the listeners watching live on Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. And everybody else listening are watching after the fact. If you're watching live, give us your thoughts in the comments, get involved in the chat. Everybody else, if you can, give us a link, subscribe for all five stars. Wherever you're getting a podcast, it does really help. So spoiler alert for Andy watching on YouTube. And Facebook or Twitter, you can see the talking points for this evening along the bottom. David, how are we? Nick, can I recommend first going just in Andy's holiday to Spain. It was the Dutch Olaf at the Scottish people in Scripps, Spain. They say a big bus comes driving in and all these milk bottle people come flying out. And then within a day, they're like, they're as pink as crabs. And then they go home and they're absolutely burnt to hell. So then the Dutch are always talking about that. That's how empires were built. Going abroad and getting sunburned and just claiming it as your own. And we'll bring back the good old days. But David, I welcome you first. There's been a lot of news this evening. That way, the positive and you know, we're trying to take an adapting boot, put the boot and the arrangers a bit halfway through the show. But Cornerbarden was announced tonight by the club, the official scarf over the head photo. So joined, joined from Aberdeen, not quite on a three year old. Ranges need to do is pay their conversation fee for the training development, the Aberdeen or June. But I think this has been in the box for a few weeks. I think we can already, you've been a big advocate for signing the best or the Scottish week. He's probably one of the best up in common Scottish talent. We've got them. It makes sense. Low wages, waffy. Happy days. Yeah, that's what I said in the comments last week. It's actually a free hit, this one, because low wages, waffy. Yeah, if it doesn't work, if it doesn't work out, you're still going to get your, I mean, what we're going to pay for from two to three hundred thousand. I would imagine it will be round about. And it goes to anyone that's five, five hundred thousand, I believe. So we'll be less than that. So, I mean, you'll get your money back and I'm no problem. And probably, what's his wages as well? I would imagine even if he doesn't hit it at Rangers, you'll still get a couple of million for him. From, from a foreign club, you obviously won't get that Scotland. But if it goes down to the championship or, if it goes to the Premier League, then he's obviously done good for us. So we'll probably not want rid of him. If it goes to the likes of the championship abroad, then you're going to get your money back. I think it's a free hit for Rangers and a no brainer, really. Andy, I'm trying to compare the signings that we're going into either, is this something that we've done here before or have we upgraded? I don't think he's quite a direct replacement for John. On some bombs saying he's maybe a direct replacement for Ryan Jack in terms of that number. He fills in the Scottish quarter as well. For me, he's a direct upgrade because he's right way more often than Ryan Jack is. And he's right beyond West wages. And he does have it. I would say his peak Ryan Jack was a bit of footballer than more bad than he's shown so far. But bad and does have the potential to go and become a better player than Ryan Jack. I definitely think we are quite, I was certainly quite quick to make the comparison of Ryan Jack. I think it's quite obvious given the career path. And also given how much hate is coming from Aberdeen as well. Definitely. I hope he has the double glaze in Windows. If he has any people that still live in Aberdeen. I think it's definitely important that we don't do what we always do. And we say this boy is going to be in the 5th pro, 10 of the year alongside Jude Bellingham and I don't know, Gavi and the midfield for the best young players. The best young midfielders on the 22 or something like that. We need to tell the expectations. I think he has great potential. I think the fact that we're comparing to Ryan Jack who's 30 year old, 31 now, but two maybe. And he's only about on the 22 in August. Says a lot about how highly is rated around the Scottish game. So I'm buzzing about the deal. And I think the only thing wrong with what Davy said is if it doesn't work for Rangers, we won't sell them. And you'll just be here for seven years at Scott Wright. So, you know, it is what it is. But I think it won't be looking at that. I think we'll be looking at, you know, moving on. I think it's profound the perfect match between finding your Scottish players to keep up with the homegrown quarters and such and such. As well as hitting the player-traded model that we're trying to look at as well in a two in one kind of perfect blend almost in this deal. See the thing, Colin, I can just commend you. Part of the thing that Rangers have done wrong in the past as well is the wages that we've been paying. That's why we can't sell WAMRS. They're all looking at what the wages WAMRS is on in Halloween. The only twin FC-20, Utrecht, who I was supposedly interested in anymore is because his wages is on. He only takes a huge drop in wages to go to Halloween. And that's going to be the trouble to try. I mean, he's agreed. I think he's agreed with the actual myth Utrecht. Now that I'm saying that, yeah, it depends what Rangers are asking for them because I don't think Utrecht has got a lot of money. Although they're selling one of the best players for eight and a half million now. So maybe they'll get the money for them. And that has been the issue with Rangers. Not just last season, but over the last few years where the money we've paid for players is not justified at all. And it's already having some big expensive outwiles here in there, but they need to deliver in too many haven't. And too many world players have taken first team wages. Colonel Baden will be on more than what he got. Albertine's substantial amount, but it's probably less than what Ryan Jack was on. So, you know, we've already made in good financial decisions, which should in theory be better football in decisions as well. So, Kavi at all that way, everything's a gamble. It's arranged all the way that the boy will probably be his name now, even though he's never been injured before in his life. But, you know, every sign in is a gamble. We just need to get away with the risk and reward. Andy, go ahead and come to some other big news that say broke the night. So, also, we've been speaking on the daily news show. We plug for the daily news for Andy, who's ever bought at nine o'clock Monday Friday. You will get the news live in the ground for you. Hamza Igammani had to take a deep breath out because I've been butchering his name for the last couple of weeks. So, obviously, in light of recent events that I've got, which we welcome to. The Rangers media team has been on it. They've announced the corner ballon and they have put out the old are usual trusted outlets that Hamza Igammani will be signing over the next few days. So, he will be part of the Angels pre-season setup next week. Just a recap, Moroccan on the 20th grade car. He was playing for the RAC Rabat, I'm sure. 21-year-old, he's played through the middle one can play on either side of the wing as well. I don't think he's quite going to be the yellow that's time signing. But, again, very much in the mold of some day, should hopefully come in and go into view. And maybe in a few years' time, he's a superstar. Well, this is the, you know, we are subscribed to this player training model. This is what we're going to see in the future of these players who are not English championship players. To me, that's the first major positive that is not some Swansea striker or, you know, I know we're going to bring up those little Morgan with Karen from now down the time. But no Plymouth or Gail players, you know. I don't want Kieran Dows in the world where we can find these youngsters and sell them on. I think it's exactly what we should be looking at now. Well, it's because simply it's because that's what we're saying. We're looking at it. I like it when we do exactly what we say we're doing. Instead of this best-in-class nonsense and we find ourselves with half a team of dads. So I think it's positive. I can't say I'll give you 10 things that nobody knows about them because that's the point is that it's a range of scouting team to do. That's their job when they get paid to do it. They're no better than I will. But they certainly see something as boy and, you know, I'm a supporter. I'll blindly take anybody's model that's associated with rangers especially about a young striker. Everybody has those dreams and football managers. I find them a young striker that they can develop and sell on in years for 35+ million, such and such. And it's positive. I'm happy with it. That's the one that I've been using about most of our kind of rumours and speculations that we're transferring to as positive. I've not seen one when I've went, "Oh, that's just a run in the mall." Kind of an option that we're looking at. It's so hard not to keep saying "care and dough type" players because I don't hate the guy. It's just so many questions. Should have been raised at that point in the way I signed up. The enemy coins are an option for me. He's been remote to go with rangers every year since I speak at Aberdeen. And just because he's a rangers fan, he's locally me. Where he went to show I would have taken him two or three years ago. But that would be just another one of those players. It was like, who was a boy that came through at Hamilton? MacArthur. MacArthur, I mean, I think he's retired and he's so fucking remote that he's coming to rangers then. He's never got to go away. Davy, I do find that really handy that it's been exciting. The concrete ones, not the concrete ones, the ones you can tell have that substance behind it. You get a lot of pages, which is pretty nonsense. And it's very easy to get stories out of this season. One question I do have right now, and I don't want to be too critical because I was told very, very early. And the transfer window is, do any of these signings actually improve the first 11? So let's just recap everybody that we've got. We on bargain. It was already there last season. Also Cortez, maybe hefty young boy. Corner baron, young boy. Igamade, young boy. And then William Carey, when eventually comes after the Euros, which is running home. I find what we've got a lot of project players and a lot of squad players there. I've no quite seen the marquee signings yet coming in and improving the first 11-10 fold. I think there will be one or two calling, but I think we'll need to get some out of the door first. I think before we're going to put in lots of money. I think, yeah, probably what you became famous for, Mr. Tavernier and Mr. Goldsen. Go into it. Go into it. Okay, so I won't go into it too deep way. I have another name today that I hadn't heard before. It was a guy from Coventry, oh, here. I think his name is. I haven't seen that yet mentioned today. I haven't seen that. I don't know a lot about him, but I've seen how to even be an upgrade on Warren's. Was this sort of a subject that I was reading about? So that's another one. The boy from Bayern Munich, he seems to be reaching the end. Although, I think you said in the way that he seems to be. He was mocking about a bit. Yeah, so, Josef Kravita, if you buy a Munich, the boy who was on the wall and shot last year saw the wall. I gather the Rangers officers on the table. And the story is breaking in Turkey. I think as his agent, just trying to drive a higher offer from Rangers. Rangers are confident they'll get done, but nothing's confirmed yet. Okay, so, well, that's a, if he's in it, I don't know what Tillman was, then it will be a huge improvement in what we've got. So, I think, I mean, I don't see us buying all these players. Even with other young Colin, just to go into the B team, I think we have replacing. And a boy, a 2122, the players are getting younger these days, Colin. See, once you get there, you're talking about 32-year-olds for Kenny McQueen. We'll just get rid of one stone. And we're going to replace them with something that's very, very similar. So, I don't know. Yeah, I know. So, I hope not, as well. So, I mean, I think it's good. And they're bringing in now, like Andrew said, bringing in other boys, young boys. I think there's a boy Watson, as well. I thought it was him, the Queen, for Comanno. But see, somebody said Armstrong, that Comanno, that old Watson. The boy Watson. For Comanno, David. Yeah, so, yeah. I think the boy, I'm timing. Yeah. The talent isn't just based on the rage. Right? I agreed. But I'm working in a man of hosting football this way then. We're no, we need experience and we don't. I don't know. We've no brought anybody in who really has that experience of reg or our first team exposure for a sustained period of time. And I'll get your thoughts on it. We also have, um, Quentin Nissara, um, from AC Milan. He just reminded me of, again, what is she? Um, I've been a bit too harsh right now, or do you think, uh, we've got the kind of the easy buys in and we'll start adding talent as the preseason goes on? Um, I think that question goes to the manager. I think, um, it depends how he sees, you know, his team in terms of personnel. Um, if he thinks, I know it's, it's, it's right. In an ideal world, you want your youngsters blending them with a bit of experience and then you're starting to live in such and such or for, especially the young boy from AC. I'm not going to print his name until I've, I've studied it for three weeks and then I'm doing it. Hi, Quentin. We're going by as a boyfriend. I support Jack. Cool. Nice one. Uh, I'll keep it with that. Um, ideally you'd want an older head next to him if you're going to start him, um, because obviously he is, um, not tried and tested. As we'd like, I suppose, if you were, if you were saying that I've said that last season, who, uh, I hide 20s early 30s, wasn't they very good? Um, you'd want, uh, we've got a support alongside your 18, 19, 20 year old, you know, center half. But, I mean, it is, it's, it's finding that sweet spot for the manager. And I think that's the only thing I would say is the manager's going to have to find that sweet spot. Um, the question is, the players we have that are experienced at the moment, which, putting them on the way out the door. I mean, we talked about Lawrence there. Um, you know, most accounts people are saying he's been told to find a new club. Your dowels or older players told to find new clubs. Um, don't know what, where the back line will be next season, you know, with Tav and Golden, you know, question marks being there. Um, and that's not just under defensive ability. The question marks have been laid. That's on their future at the club. Um, who are these experienced players? Um, who, who does the gaff, I think, that's here currently will be here and can he trust him to be an experienced, you know, core member of, of the team? Or is he going to have to then, we'll, we'll, we'll find more of these rumors coming out that such and such who's got X amount of caps internationally and hundreds of appearances at a club level are going to be linked with angels that, that you'll go at. So that's the experience. That shall leadership group coming into place. Um, you know, I think that's going to be, uh, maybe seeing the coming weeks. I don't, as I said, don't have any sources. Don't, don't think that I've just told you, we're going to sign somebody that's maybe playing at the euros or something. I don't know. It's, if I'd expect to see maybe one or two of those kind of players coming in who you instantly can see in the CV, that's somebody that's an experienced player that the manager thinks you can rely on. You've mentioned that. Don't take anything you've said as a gospel, basically, because you don't have any sources. And we found out as a podcast, you need to be very, very, um, you know, very careful when y'all, um, discussing news and differentiating, remote and, and truth. Um, so that leads us to the next story, James Tarbanil. Um, so for him to the master, the day when you show the last couple of days. Um, on Wednesday morning, we broke the story of that. Um, James Tarbanil's agreed terms with our 85th Stephen J. Al's crop. And it's just a matter of time before the crops are agreed, the, the terms, the way I want to see the role is agreed to personal terms. It's just getting over the line and they spent in the world be done in the next few weeks. Um, per score, uh, score young boys. is that was his first time hosting the news and then landed on with the headline and went mental man there we were getting called quite bad Bill Shells leading fans on doing it for the likes so we're just taking a bit of that or just to reconfirm as far as I'm concerned James Darwin Hill has agreed terms with our eddy fact he's willing to go he's ready to go just waiting in the club to confirm that what happened elsewhere in the media was was funny so the Rangers review will do the the half night show half night in front of him straight after once we are done on your news on Wednesday you didn't say too much about it they said they've not held anything and just crossed over it all in fuzzy to this moment the narrative change where they expect the James Darwin is at the end of the road and bear in mind the Rangers review have strong Wednesday Angels so I'm I'm maybe looking too much isn't it I'm taking that as you know affirmation that everybody's jumping in the ground for your bandwagon so David I think it makes sense for to be fair I mean who wouldn't go and enjoy the Saudi money in the sun with Andy Firth I mean as you can see further than that the guy is a living legend so I mean fair play to have the steady stall out early and get the band back together I'd have to take a pick up just even kick it with Andy Firth he seems the nicest guy ever to be felt um but David um I'll have a play I'll have a play take it as him for the listeners if they say they'll not believe me until it's confirmed but I'm dying on dying on this hill so my question is you how do you feel about the prospect of James Darwin either 10 years gospel hypothetically well we've always said we won't know what James Darwin here has done to he's gone so we'll probably find out what I think is he's watched a bit of pace I think he finds it far more difficult now to get past players he finds it far more difficult to get forward and I think although I must admit I think he started playing better with corner goalson left I don't know I don't know why but I just get that that impression that he started playing better when goalson uh good job the representation that ever happened but that was that that's another story with corner goalson and going on uh seeming away not not getting on together which which I'd heard a lot a lot a lot a lot a long time ago uh but um no well maybe he's kind of an ear maybe he's like Andrew and doesn't like the sun he wants to initiate he doesn't know what a tragic encounter inside the army it's out in Saudi Arabia so do you want to get used to the sun but um no I think it's a good move for him I think it's a good move for Rangers I think it's the right time it'll be a high wage hopefully goals and goals with them and that'll be too high wages out the door but bring it in these young boys I mean if you look at it was that the boy from Turkey 19 year old yesterday that this got the squad that cracker yeah go right into the top corner of the net I mean that's that's what 19 year olds can do for you as well call and you can turn on the boy though I know I'm just um I'm just going to the days of rangers signing decent players for the big international term it's all ongoing um like that's um that's before Andy's time David I remember working forward to the international terms like orangels being for anybody but so days are the past I'm afraid yeah well that's that's probably true although some of the some of the lesser teams here the lesser countries out enough you might get you might pick something up in Slovenia and and these type um that's that's hundreds I mean look at AC Milan they were there seemingly people were super said talking about it see what they were very very upset that the the the boy from their uh life I'm afraid I'm not into the name yet I'll need to to to to me about four years to get one strum into my head so I'll wait to wait to for the round that I can get his name right um if you would AC Milan were were angry that he he left so he's almost for a reasonable player and he's a big unit from what I've seen of him so these boys are coming there the look really big units in the look PC well we're obviously going to bar it baron isn't that but uh the the the the players that we've seen coming in and we're starting to bring the only look not it's been rumored the big piece of types and I think that's what Clemens want to bring into the into the team hi I think we can concede that that nearly was the other piece or maybe a couple but and I'm I'm really I'm not going back to like I'm I'm a bad James governor fan I'm gutted um I'm gutted that he's going and I do think that he could contribute to rangers next year um I do think you can see that we can't start on every game those those games last year when they choose a short confidence short form short fitness um but I do think as one of your two right backs he abs would have contributed but isn't the right time to move on because if I try to get a revolution as it's a better to happen to go out this way with the we're gonna say we're happy man he's also a lot of fans that I've chased him out of the door but I think another year would have just put the pressure on him big time he's probably like a chance he had a big contract I mean just we are about money from does it just make sense at all levels I mean yeah I thought it was going to be put a take that Jedi'd and Golden Jedi'd Golden and Tava'd be reunited at some point um I was thinking this kind of after we won the League Cup at that point in time that the fee I always commanded for Tava's a bit higher than it probably is right about now as the season you know unfailed and it didn't go our way and you know the players both have Golden's blags gave out on them Tava had some real tough days at the office and old thumbs and I think that's taken a hit to the fees I would be demanding but I think we should be committed to being ruthless and I feel like I'm getting to a rebuild because we know that this wood that we brought in the start of last season wasn't growing and I don't think I rebuilt this wood that we needed to have repot from the season before so I think this we really fully need to come at this season um I think you're sporting I think for Tava you know you'll go go somewhere that you know as a manager um you know handful of other guys that have played in our league um in that team you know tendries and dim bellies in that team as well um so I think it I think it's a nice you know move for both parties um if you're taking care of a senior loved one then you know it can be hard remember it's okay to ask for help there's a reason why 29 million families have turned to care dot com experienced senior caregivers can help with everything from meal prep to taking your loved one to doctor's appointments and every caregiver you hire is background checked so important for peace of mind find full-time part-time or even occasional help that fits your family schedule and budget get the support you need with care dot com my dad works in b2b marketing he came by my school for career day and said he was a big row as man then he told everyone how much he loved calculating his return on ad spend my friends still laughing me to this day not everyone gets b2b but with linkedin you'll be able to reach people who do get a hundred dollar credit on your next ad campaign go to linkedin.com/results to claim your credit that's linkedin.com/results terms and conditions apply linkedin the place to be to be up beside it goes for the reason that teddy bears mentioned Ella you're taking these goals out of the team um you know what's what four or five six seasons where he's not if he's not been a top ghost where he's been certainly close to it um i know we're talking brilliantly about how this has got this amount of gold and he could have had more but the key is he didn't take them and two experts there i take the goals but have um so i think that's more of a a point we need to look at is if we are fully committed to this be aware of what we're losing and prepare for you you're going to need to find those goals somewhere um granted some of these goals you get are the set pieces and granted also the goals are we're looking for a goal tav's no longer playing a right back he's sitting as an illustrator and just chuck him in the box um so i think you know if if he's not here next season and we have you know brought in other players we don't have to resort to that kind of method of just we'll just chuck tav up there um and also to be fair after you know when jerems at the club if you were losing tav and you know who are you bringing in you were losing you're losing tav and bringing in Jordan Flanagan so you know you're talking about having do's you want to write back you know um if as you're an option and that's that's uh can i go wrong with do's you want anywhere in the park so i'm not too worried about that um you know it would be a shame if he goes in that effect that f is slowly becoming more of our win um but you know it's uh i think it is a good time for both parties thank you we were all sort of getting frustrated as well tav and here for these corners i think well you're gonna agree the dm-1 these corners against them the last game of the season in the cup dm-1 these corners were 10 times better than tav's have ever been at times because he's always got these floaters that that go away from goal mostly and the i mean how many goals did we score from corners but against them and the and the scott's got we're actually really dangerous with corners on working out to score with a couple of them and i think it's just yeah it's it's time the i think he's got goals remote in place being getting less and less and less as well is because simply the reason he's not being it forward as much and that's just uh now it says it's time and i think the money is well i mean i think you get two years of emphasis contract just now uh so if you're aware if you're aware it was keeping my year and it goes down to you one year we need the money now and the way we'll probably get half year and then next season maybe even less than that so i think i think money talks so David and they mentioned that they're on a clock all men's coming around do jon style and being the new right back uh personally i think it makes sense i do think he's made to be a right back i think he's very athletic he's strong he's powerful um i don't think he's quite as comfortable on the ball as we need him maybe to be a number uh i mean he's decent for a makeshift midfielder but i think all in the flying guy they're on the wing or through back is his best position what's your thoughts is he your first choice right back don't you think range doesn't he or what else well i thought i would agree with you i don't think he's technical enough to to play in the in the engine room as i say i think every skip players fight coming at them from all sides i think he he won't he won't he'll i won't say he'll panic but uh he's he's not gonna technical ability to to get out of trouble with that uh so i think right back to a better position for him i i don't know what he was like in the middle of a defense i've never i don't i think he's ever played there maybe maybe moved in for a for a couple of games but he's never sort of been out of a lot there and i i think uh i think he'll he'll will commit it right back i think he'll be a good writer just if i wasn't this the same as bassy yeah but it where he sees a good physical physicality and also getting forward he can uh he can bomb down the wing i think that's what that's what we'll be looking for and he starts to have a full off week and they choose his like absolute specimen our boy i mean you give it so you're gonna run run run any a bus if you're on it they'll win it so that's uh the the the way he plays and uh now i i think he thank you about doing it but as i said i think i thought like it is that with you i don't think he's he's made for the engine room i don't think he's taken it going off for the engine room i think we need where's the the far better um technical ability and far better is an insight you call it for the we pass his insight and uh i think i i i don't think he's going that needs a walker yeah and i i wish to say this this isn't like it says on my duty i'm still and no player can do everything right he's the fact that well you know what was one of us when we found great and his contribution in midfield is just that we probably do one someday with more more finesse on the ball but i wouldn't have a feeling and now and then um Andy let's move away from the transfers in and another thing that Scott and i spoke about on the news this morning which was then confirmed um six hours later um by rangers it's not only it's almost as if we're in the know times um there's going to be a new way to the corporate roadblocks um so for anybody that's um missed while doing this also those renovations growing on in iberucks to add in more disabled settings and uh probably probably a better functioning disabled access areas um because what we have at the moment is a riot so that was always planned for this summer it's been planned for a long long time it's now confirmed by rangers uh this won't be ready for the start of season and they'll be well in a September by a time it's ready um rangers of release of seven saying they're going to work with um the SPFL that they see what alternatives they can do SPFL of release of seven saying the same Hamden isn't an option Hamden's uh retail for greg so not only back to stadium we can really have as multi-field unless or some sort of arrangement where rangers don't play um don't play a home game that's okay domestically but we have the European chat the champions we qualify also um in summary rangers are fucked up i'm quite annoyed um what's your thoughts on it it's here it's happened and we move on um you know it's uh i've tried not to dwell on it um because it is just a weird character it's more you you have my hands getting right on them i my forehead um but uh yes i mean i kind of ran out of options we're just going to take what we can get um that would be interesting as to be said um i went by sorry but i think what if you would couple of the only options we have i would say um perfect trial run i guess manually through the supposed but uh so the European nights that a mother should be quite cool but it's not exactly ideal actually we have i'm missing it's not ideal at all for us um you know we want to we want to start the season on firing all cylinders um we don't want another come up result we've dropped the ball in day one um you know and then from there it kind of ran away from us you know we want we want they start as maybe they go on and having this kind of run like obstacle in the way certainly isn't beneficial but we're just gonna have to deal with it um that's the long and the short of it we can sit and moan about it which i mean i'm happy sitting i'm going in like devi i'm going in like devi yeah i just don't match the setting moan about it i will sit and moan about it i want to mention devi because i've got a tireied ready now i mean it's shocking to some of this happens unfortunately um when when these architects uh i would imagine that there's part of the fall with architects uh from from what you said uh there's maybe something wrong with the design as well and there's there's some wrong with the parts and yeah whatever it is absolutely short and it can uh from what i've had called and from what i've read that it was in the sun tiddie i think that they've they've sacked the project manager the the bisoner whether that's true or not i don't know but the the sonner coming away with that and and so he should be so he should be i think that they've got to get it to who who is it for here if ever there is uh things wrong with the plans from the architect then then i don't know i don't i don't think rangers will be given them any work in the future anymore anyway but i i don't know who is leading this at rangers obviously they're getting advice from people that should know i mean i don't expect john bennett's got a degree in uh in construction so uh uh well it's probably uh has responsibility i don't really don't know you can blame him because he's taking advice from people that he thinks i don't know about it and it shouldn't it shouldn't have come and it's just going to be a big error and it's it's going to cost this it could cost us a week what it's basically i mean we could we could be we're no it's not going to be the same getting behind someday at muddy field and get someday we get getting behind the team at eyebrows it says definitely not at all i think and what sanctions are the the SFBL going to put on us because of the of the given the d sanction for their part not being able to expect we haven't got a part we can't wait well i think i think the rules are you know if in them a suitable um point office and stadium so if they do get muddy field which is working more and more like maybe uh then we kind of you would do any sanctions um get any sanctions away as long as we've confirmed it um but if you've touched on a lot of things and there's some comments coming in for the last news um at so the official line from rangers are those are the way and materials coming from Asia okay right that's that could be understandable but it's the more with again it is the more we're finding in more though though it's not just the materials there's also a bit of redesigning needn't uh done because the more they've targeted the more they've seen that they've seen uh actually the foundations are strong enough to hold the extra weight which so that goes back to the initial plan and and that's just an absolute riot a project manager senior project manager doesn't get sacked for a shipping the way he gets sacked for not managing the project today so that is more to this and to your point there john bennett isn't an architecture expert but he's uh he's a he's a head guy at rangers and time and time again rangers just show their inability to even run a bath i mean what's well no bother us knows that and i don't like being like this because i'm usually quite level headed but really really annoyed me well edmison house was delayed i mean we waited an extra year for the the walks my statue the now that's as well and we'll get even the commercial running over club um they suddenly debacle so many times rangers have decisions of planning to make and they just get it fundamentally wrong it really pisses me off while not even playing competitive football and what's still imagining to drop the ball um and they'll bring you back in am i being a bit too hard i'm not just i don't know i'm spending too much time with davey and telling any uh cabbot old guy i was too busy by the way love you i was too busy trying to work in a knuckle and muddyfield bugby joke and the fact we've dropped the ball um is given the fact we're going to have to be there as my guess but uh it certainly doesn't put us in the highest pedestal the fact that we now don't have a stadium to play in for the opening part of a very important season um you'd hardly see that and and not the headline of a newspaper um it's that i hope we're not heading back to our scandal every fortnight just streak that we had under like my cottage done gardening leaves my dough's coming in made an arse of it we're going to go first york my call and get papped out in the playoffs against mother will levels of banter Uranus um it's just one of these things where it's hard not to just not be ashamed but it's hardly something you want to brag about um yeah i think i think it's important as a matter of fact that if you're talking about a project manager that i miss happen shipping and our miscalculation and supply maybe doesn't get you fired but forgetting the fundamental you know part of can we actually proceed here at all kind of is heading towards sacrable offense um so it's a fact that it's it's a fact that it just is but it is that it's these are you're respawning with bennie he's not going to i don't see him at heart at all in a jackhammer and at all he's going to be crunching numbers in the boardroom somewhere and he'll be getting somebody over the shoulder saying yeah we've read an arse this by the way and so i think they've taken the best action that they can do from their end and go well i feel not doing very good but let's get somebody else to can do it so i that's that's the hope is that the rest of this kind of debacle will run smoothly but i mean just being rangers it just happens to happen to us David i did feel sorry for Andy because he grew up during the the banner years uh anything they can go wrong let's go wrong and it happens comically yes hi so he just knows this is the way of life i mean you and i can remember when we actually ran like a proper football club so maybe that's why Andy's a bit calmer than me i lost faith in rangers when we had that puma kit with a black phone sponsor and they put all the players in it in shot sizes that were about five excel and it made it made look it made nikki law look like he was in a sleeping bag is how poorly fitting it was to him um that's when i lost faith in us doing anything with a shred of dignity involved in it um so yeah that or the fact that we had to play in the same kit twice it's one season after the other because we were stuck in a deal with puma and sports throughout but hey ho yeah that's a whole other podcast i was in uh great watching rangers calling when will avoid always was building the building the ui but i upset the time and we were sitting at a snowy wednesday night and the boy we were playing i can remember st johnston or something and we were getting beat and we're sitting there coming up bring in new players coming over well i what he said at the time he said no nothing but no it's i were waiting i broke safe first and that that's what and i think that's one one thing that is it's it's happened but one thing is they've got to do is make sure i broke his safe call and that's uh that's uh and if a uh a project manager has walked things out that i broke shouldn't be safe then then it shouldn't be in that job it shouldn't be meeting decisions that he's made and i think that's uh and maybe the chairman maybe maybe he should uh put his head in the job more concerned uh but because he's picked the people to do it if i manage a picture team and a team keeps losing then he gets a sack it's we were right we know but um and and maybe maybe that's uh that's the way to go as well maybe maybe um and i get the argument it's happened we need to move on but it keeps on happening that's my issue it keeps on happening and no doubt because more details of agarcedium it wouldn't be surprised me if rangers are doing an extra tenor on either ticket or on my treble so travel for the Edinburgh but um speaking of trebles we will come in and last at a conversation um for tonight um David I will stick with you um of course at home the new rangel closer to home for you sorry rangers do go to the Netherlands next week uh for the pre-season and the between from that they are going to be playing Ajax first of all um in a friendly or in the 13th of July they will then play man you know you did a money field just getting warmed up warmed up for a new home ground in the 20th of July Birmingham City for the treble um Trevor Stevens testimonial and then Union Berlin for um for the last friendly in the 27th of July probably will be a bounce game in the Netherlands before Ajax so some pretty decent opposition I must say um I mean probably the worst team we've brought there is man you job was up there then we walk away up between Ajax and Berlin yeah well I'm hoping calling this that in the past rangers have used the hotel complex training complex just down the road from me under advocate we were there and it was actually quite funny because I went to how I think I'll be down take a run down and see if I can see any of the players uh there and I was just driving along the road and what happened was all the whole squad came out there outside street on mountain bikes and I just froze I just didn't know what to do so I'm holding them there and I'll get down there and give a few reports from there call whenever it is there I think it will be there to be honest with you because it's uh used by a lot of big teams uh Ajax who's at law as well FC 20 they use a regular because it's just down the road from them as well so hopefully hopefully I'll be quite near and be able to get down and maybe do a few reports from there there you go the galaxy on the continent I was just wondering see it mighty field we'll get three points if we kick the ball over the back it's we'd probably be quite good at that okay probably not in case get kent back pronto actually for me let's get them in I'm like yes never in my way or what's coming and I should apologize I think i said that Jeff or Stephen's testimony was uh yeah that's a memorial to have our Francis I beg your pardon fine state Stephen back within the comments uh correct me but and they um hopefully by monday we can get some these new texts over new players and it'll be new to have actual football and training back together something to talk about and see the me personally more about john bear that that's what you all that's what you think you know they're back to being like the hunger games at mary field the mary park and then mary field you know people just ending up with injuries I'm actually I'm going for this season I'm going I was always optimistic last season about players personnel games I'm going to go the opposite I think this year uh keep that positivity for when i'm at the stadium but keep the negativity when i'm on the podcast I think it goes a lot better um so i'm going to be cold and say I can see this preseason being an eight-minute uh with us finding out that we haven't made any changes to our doctors i've not heard anything about that yeah i i was just thinking out the other day i went so much we said about we're going to have an internal investigation about this and yeah i'm not heard anything about it and now we're getting back to preseason preseason which in the past we have failed to prepare proper and it's kicked us in the back side come march april so the sooner we maybe make those changes i'll be happier such a laugh being a dangerous fan and it really is but that will bring us to our close for tonight uh before i say my goodbyes just our co-teams for all the rest of us thank you very much for for listening and getting involved in the comments and for everybody listening after the fact um just to remain on monday free day nine a.m we get it the gong views daily news and i'm standing by the news at that near there's a way so deep but um if he gives a like subscribe comment even if you think i'm don't push without even comment i mean there's been plenty of that uh but your support's always appreciated um i am going to come to my two guests and get asked you for a farewell to the listeners and in light of a rangers game i'm going to ask you to predict well scot on qualify from their groups in the euros first of all day they thank you for coming on all the all the boys do it um no i i very much doubt it i don't know if they played no bad against Switzerland but you can just see calling and certain flashes they played some good football if you see the the bold attention i mean i guess german it was absolutely shocking that the but the bold attention there was absolutely none there was in the bowl but after every another two passes and that was it point of the park and i just think that they've been really showing up there they really have i don't know maybe you don't know how good i mean that was what the Dutch could comment jesus was saying you don't know how good german they actually are it's a scot one before rubbish and that's uh that's that's a sort of a thing because you you look at the game germany played uh last night coming but really played but um the development half is good as you were again in scot one and um hongering last night hongering yeah and then yeah well that means we're putting hongering next well i hope i hold the notes i hope the notes are hongering but i think i think that the we've got to point if you look at all the gave us now for one that that's been there the team teams have been pressing really quick we'll get Denmark today against England some did they were really the present was absolutely fantastic and to go now against these teams and think we'll sit back for 90 minutes and walk to get a go in the in the breakaway it's just not on anymore you can't you can't play with that because you're going to lose goals and think that's it i think that's the way if we go and we we can um press with that then then then i think we'll get a chance but if we sit back again and sit and watch the other hand you have too many yes Neil you're close to them asking give me a yes or no i'm afraid i think Scotland over the old oh let me go and they've been saying no what is your your prediction i'll say i i'll say i but that's only if you fire Anthony Ralston back to Scotland and i can and have him nowhere near that backline um from now until the end of time um if that it's i said it's a lot if so uh for that to work um i just thought it's i'm really it's not an anti-steve clerk thing because he doesn't like rangers it's an anti-steve clerk thing because i don't see anything that tells me he's a good manager i was sitting there it was so symptomatic of where we are as a football nation when i'm watching germany who have got a manager two years older than 20 crores as a manager who's playing as futuristic and by futuristic in Scotland terms it's maybe 2018 level football but he's playing a modern attacking you know he has his ideologies are modern football whereas you've got steve clerk who has parked the bus from 44 seconds on the clock um it's the old fire against the young guns and it was just so frustrating that as the game went on it was like this is this is just painful to watch but you go oh positive we're still in this we're going we're going do something i switched on got the gold great and then that steve clerk in Scotland depression still football kicks us in the arse and now we've got to go to show down sunday and try and get something but in those games we're scott under against the caution or against the underdog i suppose if we're underdogs we seem to find something so that's my theory is that we will find something and if that's something it isn't get mctormless far up the park then i don't know what it is i mean the boy was a striker for his entire youth career but a couple of shouldn't have mentioned that because that means if he's a good striker you'll put him in the bench until the 87th minute so let's not do that i was sitting there i was sitting there on the hydrogen gift of the smile smile depressed glance they're saying oh great shankles coming on and then you just see that the this the stoppage ting up and you got how you get four minutes to do something certainly not being a fun watch especially since i'm t total so i can't even use any excuse of getting wild up in there all that so that's your first mistake there i'm not getting on the bed on we're joking i am not wanting college alcohol um good on you but i'm going i'm going to say i um don't think i'm real that great i think strong played better and spelt against what's going to get any worse um i do think we need to make some bold choices or brave choices where they're wearing up um hanging out since probably better off taking up the the golden rule stand um as far as i'm concerned um it may be a mild use as a nation but i'm not in charge but i'll go yes first of all and um but that'll bring us the echoes um again thank you all very much for listening we'll be back uh
