If you were here earlier to watch us on Graph City, hold on. You hear an echo? Is that just me? I don't hear an echo. Okay. Do you hear it? Check. Yeah, still hear it. I don't hear it over here. Okay. Maybe it's just, I don't know. But anyway, hopefully you were here early to check us out on Graph City. What is the guys you know? Graphtastic duo are back to host SummerSlam post-show. That was a solid show. I think going into this and watching this show and knowing my co-hosts style of wrestling. Leave me out of this, Phil. Phil, leave me out of this. I don't feel like this is going to be his kind of cup of tea straight away. But what did you think of this show on a whole? Why must I be thrown under the bus immediately as we start this podcast? I thought it was the greatest wrestling show of all time. Listen, you guys, the wrestling was fine. Only issue I have with the world wrestling entertainment is they need somebody to do finish. They got to get somebody that's good at finishes because multiple times throughout this show, it was like, this is too much. You guys just get to the point, get to the story. Never too much. Never too much. Never too much. I see that. Then everybody just like, yo, storytelling. I'm like, I get it. I get it. But we could get to the story in a really simpler way, you know? Yeah. Of course, as usual, if you want to let us know what you thought of this show, what was your favorite match? Send us your super chat. But if you want to send us a hopper chat where we get a little bit bigger for the cut, send that to hopperchats.com/fightful. Yeah. I straight away some of the matches that I can tell were not going to be your cup of tea. I can call them out right away because I know my friend. I had a great time watching this pay-per-view. But yeah, let's get into it. We straight away opened the show with the Women's World Championship match. Liv Morgan took on Rhea Ripley. I thought Rhea looked great, had a great entrance. Yeah. Looked like a big star. And when she came out, the reaction, she got how popular she was. I could already tell where this finish was going because it's just time. It's time to turn her face. She's just too popular. The fans are not going to put work. Dude, she came out as a babyface. She was clapping hands with people, got this huge gigantic pop. I'm like, oh, yeah. It's like, before they're even doing this turn, it's already in the air. Dominik can't be attached to Rhea Ripley at this point with the point where she is as a wrestler. You know what I mean? Yeah, for sure. They were kind of leaning again. Dom was putting his arm around her a lot coming out. And he was definitely hamming it up and leaning it in. Like, yeah, I'm here with you. And I was like, I see you, Dom. I don't believe you, bro. I knew coming in the door. I don't believe you. I didn't like that. Smirk the whole time. I'm like, oh, he's up to something. No. I got this match with Salet. It felt like, for some reason, when it finally had hit its pace and the crowd got into it, then it just abruptly ended. I feel like it could have used maybe two or three more minutes. But overall, I thought it was a really good opener. I thought the women worked well. I thought that they had a fairly well-paced match. I thought Rhea looked like a badass with the shoulder injury stuff. She bifted on the turnbucker at one point. And of course, that's the injury that she had that took, put her on the shelf for a little bit. But the spots where she popped it back in, I thought that that looked gruesome. I thought it made her look awesome. I thought Liv played her role well here. I thought the finish was very well executed. I thought for better or worse, it was one of the better finishes on the night because everything worked the way it was supposed to. The initial spot where Rhea tries to use the spot, the chair, it looked like Dom was a little late getting in there to get the chair. But it worked out when he comes back in and slides the chair in and it's the same way that Liv beat Becky. I thought that was a great call back and it was executed well. That all went very smoothly. And then we got, of course, the aftermath of them snogging it out over Rhea's dead body afterwards. Dancer her grave, what have you snogging it out is hella funny. Yeah, I liked the story of this match a lot of Rhea. It was kind of go how we expected Rhea came in and was throttling her like yeah Rhea's back. She's mad as hell. She has a lot of gripes to do here. So at first she's like beating Liv up pretty bad. But then her shoulder comes into play and that's when Liv takes advantage. But I thought the parts like you were saying where she was popping in her shoulder and the crowd would get so hooked up into it and so super into it. Where the most important parts of the match has that built even more towards sympathy and more towards her becoming this big baby face. So when they eventually did get to the Dominic screw over it hit even harder. I like this match a lot. I thought that the finish was as convoluted as a lot of them were. This one worked really well with them using the chairs in different formats and then eventually Liv hitting her finished on the chair. I thought it was really strong. Yeah I thought this finish worked better than some of the other finishes because it was very straightforward. And it was a nice tie back to the Becky match and you know less is more. And I thought that works really well. I thought it worked really well here because they did do that finish and it left you with a little bit of a doubt of did he do that on purpose. And then when a camera cut back to him with Smirk it was like oh yeah he did it on purpose. And it even left you thinking like all right are they going to play this out and they did they did go to the kiss afterwards. And I thought that was the right move. I didn't want to do the mystery of is he going to turn on their stuff for another week. Just get to it. Yeah and I thought because it kind of plays into the story later in the night of the judgment day. Got to execute it right now got to make sure we know that Dominic did do this on purpose and there is a reason that Liv is the champion right now. As far as the first match I thought everybody did their job. Dominic played a good role like he said he might have been a second or two behind on the initial thing. But I thought his execution was really well. Rhea is going to be a bigger star coming off of this. Like the loss is actually more is better for her than if she would have won and Liv I think needed that win. So this executed on all points. Yeah I agree Liv needed the win and I think she needs Dom Moore in her corner for the heat. Rhea is outgrown the Dom thing. She's too over for that. She doesn't need anybody. She'll need judgment day. She'll need nobody. She don't need Dom no more. Dom is not enough to get heat on her. The crowd is going to cheer her regardless. So it was just time. It was time to turn her. Yeah she is going to like when she was champion and the judgment day product for a different stratosphere. I thought that she should defend the belt more and there was a couple of things a couple of missteps maybe as world champion. But I mean I think it might have worked in the long the long haul because now she's a huge superstar when she does get that championship back. It's over. For sure. Yeah I thought that straight away she was going to win the title back but I think this makes more sense. So yeah I thought that this was a solid opener. Yeah there was Liv going into it. I thought that Rhea was going to come back immediately and get it too. But this story is kind of better to play and I think they need to build not build Rhea up but like get her some different wins. Let Liv cook a little bit as champion but we all know what's inevitable here. Absolutely. We've got some super chats or humper chats. We've got a couple of super chats discussing the matter here. Thank you everybody for submitting your super chats. First we've got Eugene Solis who became a new member today joining us on the pod. RJ A says Liv is so at bad blood. I'm guessing he thinking they're going to run that back at bad blood. What do you think? Yeah I would assume so. I wonder are they going to run it back there or are they going to run it back at Bastion Berlin? Because bad blood is in October so that's a ways away. Big moment for Rhea at Bast. I don't know there's a couple of ways they could go but yeah because October is kind of a ways away. There's a lot that could happen before then. Yeah I could see them running it back by the end of the month. And then Marquis Del Toro says Reg loved this paper view like he loves the learning tree. Yeah. Appreciate you guys. Y'all are funny. I'm going a bit. We got a hardware chat from Kameh. I think that's how you pronounce it. Feel free to tell me if I mispronounced your name buddy. He says I think it's interesting that Dom live Rhea storyline could be a reason why there's an AEW. WWE crossover if buddy Matthew has his way. LOL would be funny if that's how slash why it happened. Doubt it though. Dom versus buddy could be fun though. I see no future where that happens. Did you see Buddy's tweet? I did. I thought it was very funny. Yeah let me let me go on over there right quick listen you sure you're going to come back buddy. I'm saying I can't I can't let you go and play for one day because you might not ever come back. Tony hitting them with the ice cube. Hey come back. I love you right back. That's hella funny. Appreciate y'all y'all are super good. Appreciate you guys of course. Then you just send your super chats in and your bumper chats in via humperchats.com/fightful. Yeah so I'll just start to show the second match we got the Intercontinental Championship match. This was a grand opening grand closing was over a lot quicker than I thought it would be. I thought we were going to get like this valiant baby face flight from Sam Zane fight. Yeah and we did not get that. That's essentially what we got at the last pay-per-view. This was just straight for it. Brian came straight in there beat him. Now I'm confused because just as you described here the last time we saw these guys fight they had a match. Yeah. So what happened? What changed in Sammy Zane since the last pay-per-view as to what strategy was different. Why did he just get throttled here. I'm so confused I'm like okay I understand this story like you guys want Brian to be this guy. You're putting him over like he's crushing people on a Monday night every basis you know what I mean. But like why did we do this match at this time. Like if we were going to do this we should have just did it at Money in the Bank I feel. That's what I thought immediately. I think if you were going to just do this quick squash you could have got this out the way at the last pay-per-view and you could have used this slide on the on the car for the tag match. You could have put Johnny Gargano on this card in Cleveland. I don't know. Confusing one not confusing because of what they did like I knew that Brian was going to come strong in this. I just didn't understand why as the second rematch this is what they did you know. Yeah I thought Brian looked great at the spot where he did the Frankenstein and he popped up and he did that quick celebration and jumped into it. I thought that was fire. I thought the both of those spears that he hit him with looked nasty. I was like alright Sam. Might be a short work day for you and sure enough with a short work day. Listen can we have like they need to have wrestlers court and then they're like everybody stand up here. Everybody who does the spear got to stand up here. Like which one's the best. Alright Brian's the best. Everybody else stop doing them. Roman's going to be really mad but like that's the game yeah. Yeah right. I think right now Brian's got the best beer and Debbie for sure. He might have the best spirit all of wrestling at this point. A couple people got to be mad at that. Moose is watching this right now like this. I hate it. Son of a bitch. He's got it to me again. He's done it to me again. But yeah man this was entertaining for what it was. Straight to the point. Brian really just ran through Sammy here. He is your new Intercontinental champion. I do think that that was the right call. Yes. It does feel like it's at this moment. It is Brian's moment. I feel bad that we've quickly gone away from the cable stuff. I don't know when Gable will be back in the continental title picture. Which is unfortunate because man. It feels like they missed a chance to do something big with him. It felt like he had a moment and now it feels like it's passed. Yeah that is unfortunate with Chad Gable. There's a couple of good things. I think that come out of this Braun breaker being intercontinental champion thing. Like we said it wasn't really surprising. It's always kind of inevitable. And what happens later in the show with Gunther. I think like now the intercontinental championship could represent something different represent what Braun is going to bring to the table. What kind of destruction and things he's going to bring to it. It doesn't have to be that. Workhorse championship like it's previously been because the workhorse is now the world champion. You know what I mean? For sure. Which we'll get into very soon here. Spoiler alert. Sorry you guys. But yeah really much to do about nothing. It was entertaining match for what it is but didn't really do much for me personally. Good way for Sam's Sam's ain't no right like. Yeah I thought he had a great reign. I was very skeptical about having him be the guy that beat Gunther. But the end of that being one of my favorite matches from WrestleMania weekend. I thought he came out of that win looking great. He had he had some strong matches as champion. Honestly this is the only title defense so far of his that I didn't like as champion. Right. I think it's worked pretty wonders for Sam's ain't too. I was already super over but I think he's maintained that and gained some more being intercontinental champion. He did a lot of great promos while while intercontinental champion. Told a lot of great stories so it worked. Yeah. You know when I say I don't I didn't like it. It's not so much that it was a bad match. But I mean in terms of the get of the Sammy matches where we've gotten used to as champion. I did this wasn't what I expected. Yeah totally. For the stories that he's been telling as champion we've gotten some great matches. Kind of like a not the best way to end it. I'm for sure. We are going to get into the United States championship match button before we do that. Going to get a word from bet online. If you were betting coming into this on Logan Paul, probably not the best bet to come in. This guy was very unpopular coming into the Cleveland Browns stadium. Oh my God. That crowd led him habit immediately. Very unpopular online based on some of the stuff this week. People were ready for this kind of lose. And then it was funny because he came out and he got booed. And then he did this weird bit with machine gun Kelly where I didn't understand what was happening at first because he like pushed his hood back and then they did like to stare down and machine gun Kelly put his hat on. I was like, okay, are they going to fight? Yeah. I'm so happy to see you. I was like, okay, cool. I didn't know where this was going. And then they did like their bro interest together. And I was like, oh, I hate this. I want you to lose even more. Hurry up LA night, run down here and kick both these guys ass. Yeah. It's so funny. I was thinking like, damn, Logan Paul has all this heat. He's like people hate him right now. He's like, let me get another white guy that people hate to join me to add on to this hate. I was like, I mean, if you're playing hater politics, you're doing pretty good at this point. Yeah. At one point, they were trying to put over both of these guys are cleaving guys. And I was like, yeah, I'm not a fan of either. What's going on in Cleveland? Can you know, bring it back? Because it's crazy. These are the two guys. Yeah, I couldn't find nobody else like this. Sorry to all the Cleveland homies, but damn. Yeah. LA night came out next. He showed up in the prime wagon again, bust out the windows and this was one of many things during this pay-per-view that they did backstage where I was just kind of like, you know, you could just get to the entrance. I didn't really need that. Like this, this really didn't do anything for me. It didn't make me care about this match more. I don't think it made LA night look particularly cool. I was just like, all right, get to it. This, this just kind of felt like filler to me, but maybe somebody else was into it. It wasn't me. Don't talk about biller. Let's talk about biller. Yeah. Now there's a lot of filler in this paper. You just like, what's this? Just get to it, man. Get to it. They finally got to it. There was a lot of exciting moments, one particular moment. Logan Paul's a big, as we know, big fan of Hangman Adam Page does a lot of his spots. But now in this match, big fan of Kenny Omega's been watching this Kenny Omega tapes. Hit the old springboard reverse moonsault out there. What you thought about that? Yeah, Logan Paul does the moves well. I think he's a very athletic guy. I think he makes the spots look really good. That moonsault he did to the outside looked clean. I thought every time he busts out the buckshot Larry, it looks good. There's just a disconnect with me with the character stuff for me. I think that's the only thing for me that Logan Paul is really missing. It doesn't feel like some of the heat that he gets is legitimately like, oh, I hate this character. It's kind of like, I don't really like this person. I'm like this fool. Yeah. And so it's fine, but I thought this match was good. I thought that it did what it was supposed to do. LA Knight came out and he got the big heroic welcome. The crowd was behind him throughout. They were doing all of the yet chance with him. The pre-match beatdown worked. It got the crowd into it. Like I said, Logan does all of the spots well. He does the bits well. The finish was interesting. What did you think of the finish? Again, too much was going on, but like the meeting bones of it, the hangman, the buckshot into LA Knight's finish. I thought that was dope. When they got down like to the one, two, three, that was dope. So towards the end of this match, we got the usual brass nooks stuff and started a lot of time. This led to machine gun Kelly giving him the brass nooks that he had on his chain for some reason. And I guess that was the reveal of why machine gun Kelly was there to try to help him win the match. So he put the brass nooks on and he hits LA Knight while he's trying to bring him over the rope to do his finish here. And while he's stumbling after he gets hit by the brass nooks, I don't know why he didn't go down. But while he's stumbling, Logan goes to hit the buckshot, Larry. LA Knight quickly reverses it into his finisher, one, two, three. He is your new United States champion. I think the counter worked, but I didn't really understand why they didn't just do the buckshot into the counter. Why did you need the brass nooks part of it? I immediately was like why didn't he fall down? Why didn't he sell it? And he's supposed to be like a badass boxer puncher? Like what did he be? Yeah. Dan? You know? Yeah. But other than that, I thought the counter itself looked good. I just thought that you didn't. It was a bit too much going on with the finish, like you said. You maybe didn't need the brass next part. You could have just went straight to the counter and I thought it would have been fine with it. So I'm saying the finish was dope. Like why didn't y'all just do that? Like what was the extra part? Like I understand wanting to get like MGK involved and all this stuff, but like, well too much. Yeah, a little too much. But I thought the match was perfectly fine, not offensive match. I enjoyed it. Trying a moment for LA Knight, finally. Yeah, I enjoyed it. LA Knight has been long over doing my opinion. I thought he should have won last year. So I was happy he finally got his moment. And again, when he's in these kind of matches at the pay per view, he looks like he belongs. He feels like a WWE style wrestler, the kind of wrestler that they would have pushed back in the day because all of the bits are over, all of the catch phrases and everything he does is over. He in a lot of ways feels like a wrestler from that era. Yeah. Like if we could slot a guy from this era into the attitude era, like LA Knight's the guy, like he has all the bits, he works the style, like he understands it. Big muscle guy. He fits there. Yeah. And like, yeah, this was long overdue. There was a couple of times where he should have got the big moment, but like this worked out, the crowd was super into it. And I think he's going to be a good US champion. It was definitely time to get that belt off of the home boy. Yeah. I think so for sure. When he did that promo on Smackdown, he talked about how he's been champion for over 200 days. And he's only had two defense. I was like, really? Bro. It's time, bro. Get that guy a replica bell. I know y'all want him to have it around places. Just let him carry a record. Go get that gold snoop belt that you were putting on all the other celebrities. Let him walk around with that, but this and even after he lost and Cole was like, that was an incredible rain. I was like, what's it? I was thinking that too right back to our pot earlier in Azar. He only had two defenses. I don't know if incredible was the way I would describe it. Yeah, I don't know if I would say that, but he's good in these kind of matches. When you give him the pay-per-view quality matches, he usually delivers. Yeah, totally. He gets it. Yeah. Like I said, mostly the disconnect for me is the character stuff that's just I'm just not into. Funny, super chat. I'm going to read that. Black said still watching the show, but when Triple H came out, all I could think of was credit boys. Yeezy credit rip off every time. Every time I'm like, what are you doing here? The way I laughed when the show started, and first of all, we started with the jelly roll stuff. And I was just like, oh boy, we are in that spot, huh? He got two songs. Two of them. Yeah. I said, okay, cool. So he got the two songs, and then time to play the game. I said, all right, we're doing here, because right after that, it almost felt like I was sitting in the movies when, you know, you're just like antsy. You come in there with their popcorn and everything, and you like, you drink half your pop and everything. You're like, man, start this movie, bro. And so you get through all these trailers and like, yes, I'm ready, man. You're about to hit this movie. Nope. Time to play the game. No. Come on again. Yeah. And I got to start the movie. The movie's about to start. Let me get my little words in though. Look, congrats. Welcome. We're here already. Don't wait. You got to welcome us. We're here, bro. Like we're happy to be here. We know the parts you played in it. You're so happy. And I know that you did this. I know you're the reason, dog. I got got you. I got you. You got the credit. I know. No, he didn't. He got you. He got to let you know he didn't get enough. He needs more. I kind of let these guys know. That's the funniest guy in the world there. Oh, man. His best friend is Barry, his best friend's up there. The second he came out, I picked you right away because I was like this guy, man. Credit boys. Credit boys is in the building. Lewis, our homie says, Hey guys. I was like, "Oh my God, I hope you guys are okay." Yeah. L.A. will get into his Super Indie Boy bag and a couple spots. I'm like, "All right, L.A. do it. I'll see you." Yeah, but now that spot, I definitely was like, "Wow, that landing looked a little scary." Mm-hmm. Yeah, that's all of the ones for now. Mm-hmm, mm-hmm, mm-hmm, mm-hmm. Good stuff, y'all. I appreciate you guys. As usual, we got a hopper chat from Jay Paul. Jay Paul? I don't-- Let's defend this bro, right now, what's going on? He says, "Did you guys watch "Collision's" solid show? I hope the claim turned heel, hologram is legit. I did not get a chance to watch "Collision," because I took a nap. I took a nap before it gave you a start, because I knew we were going to get into this pay per view, and then I had to record. So I was like, "I'm good at taking a nap." I watched it, but this ain't the "Collision" post-show, but I shit banged. Yeah, I already was a fan of hologram before as air miss, so I already knew-- once I knew it was air miss, I was like, "Oh, no, that guy's going to go over there and cook." Yeah, Phil. He brings that energy. There's a certain lucha energy that's like 1,000 miles per hour. All the spots are mind-blowing, and he brings that to the game, and I'm loving it. That's all I got to say. Yeah, I've seen him wrestle live a few times here in Chicago, and he's great. He's incredible. There's a couple of those-- they were doing like those six men and like, warrior wrestling or like-- Yeah. That's where I saw him. Oh, man. These are matches they used to have for warrior, man. They had the lucha belt for that show, man. Them lucha matches used to hit, bro. Yeah, I'm glad people are enjoying holograms so far, because usually when we see this kind of thing where they just make a new character from scratch, and then it's so much about the appearance of them, sometimes people are not into it, but I'm glad that, you know, it's working so far. I'm glad that people are liking it. It's an easy way to turn people off immediately, but like, he's so dynamic that it was no way that people weren't going to be on board. Yeah, I think that that's what it is. He's such a dynamic worker. He does all of the stuff that that crowd likes. He's flippy, he moves really, really well, and as much lucha stuff as we've seen, he doesn't really move like a lot of lucha doors I see. That's an important thing, man. Yeah, that's all of our Humper Chat. Oh, no, it is not all of our Humper Chat for now, sorry. We've got one for the United States Championship, man, as well, from Vance Whimblade. He says, "Didn't watch the show, but fuck a looking ball." He breaks something from Craft City. FD, signing chair, it's a black man who does a video essay on YouTube about hip-hop and black culture. To Kendrick and Drake's video, check out Eminem and the White Rapper problem. Yeah, I hear about his videos, but I have not seen these over these videos there. I'll check them out. This is first time here now that he appreciates you, then of course, is a Craft City regular appreciation book. That is all of our Humper Chat for now, I believe. Our next match, I feel like, is going to be a very divisive one. It'll be a very divisive subject. Probably the most hyped match coming into this pay-per-view. CM Punk versus Drew McIntyre was Seth Rollins as the special guest referee. I don't know, for whatever reason, when I started this match, I felt like these entrances were so long. It didn't feel like that, and some of the matches before that, I don't know why. When I was sitting watching this match, I said, "Man, these entrances are super long." Yeah, one point Drew got up and he was doing his entrance and he was on the turnbook and I was like, "Dawg, has it been 500 hours?" I thought it was just me, I was like, "Why is this taking so long?" Yes, bro. That's exactly what I mean. It took forever for him to get down to the ring. Then he got to the ring, stood on a turnbuckle, looked back at Rollins, looked around for some more, then did his taut thing on a turnbuckle, walked to the other turnbook. I was like, "Bro, get to it, man." I noticed that during Drew's entrance, I was like, "This is taking a really long time." Like he's slowly prodded all the way down that long ass entrance ramp and then he gets to the ring and he's just like, "Yo, I'm like, yo, what's up?" It felt like that with Rollins too, he had to come down, the crowd sank his song and he came down that wild coat he had on, his referee outfit got wild. This is rather hilarious, man. This guy had on a lace referee shirt with the white stripes on it, but that's WWE logo. That outfit was crazy. With the wild silver pants, did you see that Deanna retweeted and she had the same pants on or dynamite? God, I did not. That's hilarious. Listen, man, two minds think alike, man. I mean, look, great fits. Yeah, that outfit was wild though. Not as wild as I expected though. I figured he was going to wear something crazy and he did not disappoint. This match had a lot of hype behind it, there was a lot of expectation behind it. I don't think it quite lived up to the hype and WWE does this thing with these kind of matches. They do it every time they do it, where they know that the crowd is into this, they spent a lot of time investing, getting us to invest in this match, and then when they give it to us, it's like, all right, let's give it to them at half speed, let's get up to about second gear, and then we're going to get the rematch because after this match was over, I was like, oh, there's definitely going to be a rematch. What this felt like was the Nakamura AJ match at WrestleMania where it was fine, but it felt like this could have been a television match. It doesn't feel like after all of this build, a six month build, that this should have been the pay-per-view match. Yeah, I hate when they do that for the big show. It's like, if we're at the, if we're doing a WrestleMania match, give me a WrestleMania match. It shouldn't be the big match leading to another show, like, what's going on here? Yeah, there was moments of this that felt like a house show match, it's like, y'all are not. Yeah, it did. This did not feel like these guys putting over all this time about how much they hate each other. I mean, Drew bloodied this guy and had him stretcher out of the arena, and we got to this match, and it was about the most, like, like, sanitary, like, safe match we've seen. Like, it felt like it didn't go full throughout, and there was no real violence here. I was very confused by that. I was like, all right, I get, like, even the story they did early on of Drew beaten down on him and dominating him. I mean, he was beating this guy's ass for the beginning of this match. All of that was fine, but for the way he was talking like, man, I'm going to beat you until your heart starts beating. I didn't really get that vibe from this match. This felt like very slow and plodding with a radical match, which is fine, but it didn't really fit the tone of this build. Your boy, your boy, your boy, your guys is boy Triple H. This is all his fault. This felt exactly like WrestleMania, Randy Orton. They had that crazy bill pulled up on Randy's Orton's house. Randy Orton kicked his wife in the head, all this stuff, and then they get to the match and then they just lock up and have like, why are you guys wrestling and doing holds? You guys, this is supposed to be a blood few. You've let this guy sent him out on a stretcher. You said you're going to make his heart stop. You said that he's going to, this is going to be this only match back. He'll never to be seen again. You're not really giving up that vibe while you're in here, just trying to wrestle him and doing this regularly. Even before the match start, he's like, all you have to do Rollins is ring the bell and count the three and then like, that's not, you still didn't really give up that energy when this match started. No. And that could be wrong. I think the storytelling in this match was great. I don't think it was great for what it was built up to be. For the amount of hype that went into this match, like I said, this was a six month build. And so even when we talked about it on Graph City early, I was like, this match has to be a slam dunk. I did enjoy it for what it was, but like I said, this did not feel like a pay-per-view match. This felt like part one in a two-parter or a trilogy. They built a match around a friendship bracelet, let's talk about it. This match, the core of this match was built around a friendship bracelet. When they have the part, apart when punk's crawling to the corner and they got the low camera angle and he's reaching for a friendship bracelet, I was like, I think we might be off the rails here. So I'm like, okay, I'm back on. I understand like they're trying to, they're storytelling, they're here. So they're fighting over this bracelet, but then punk can't get back into the match because he's so enthralled. At one point, Rollins has it on and he's about to hit Drew with the go-to-sleep, but he sees Rollins so he drops him and grabs the friendship. This is so funny because as I was watching this match, I was like, Reg is going to hate this match. Friendship bracelet. I was sitting here the whole time, like all this story stuff that I liked. And this was a very WWE style story driven match. I was like, oh, Reg is not going to like this. A friendship bracelet, CM Punk is crawling to the corner to grab a friendship bracelet. He's so mad at these guys, but he's also not mad at these guys because he's not trying to win the fucking match. He's trying to grab a friendship bracelet. I'm like, all right, you guys, I don't understand what's going on here. Is that what CM Punk has been reduced to a fucking friendship bracelet? I've seen this guy talk and do the worst things in history to wrestlers in a friendship bracelet is what's doing it. It's crazy. WWE style storytelling. That's what this was. And if that's your cup of tea, if you like that, I think you're going to enjoy this match. For me personally, like I said, I enjoyed the storytelling. There were bits of it that I was like, oh, the vibes are here. The camera angle and everything that they did when he got drew up for the go to sleep and he turned around and Seth had to bracelet on and he was just like, what are you doing? And they had like the stare. Then I were going back and forth and just like the way they were talking about each other. And then he goes, everything isn't about you, asshole. I was like, oh, we're here. This is this is the energy, man. This is storytelling. Because they're very much trying to tell the story that punk as always is his worst enemy. And if you're following this from the AW stuff, punk's own paranoia was his undoing. And that was what happened in this match. Him being paranoid that Rollins wouldn't have just done the right thing and counted the three frame. And then afterwards just took the bracelet off and was like, here, man, this belongs to you or whatever. That all of that stuff cost him this match. I liked punk's rebut too of, uh, it's not always about me, but it's never about you. I'm like, dad, you cook this full. I loved it. He didn't go to sleep on him and then going and saying that to him and taking the bracelet off of him and putting it on, I thought that that was great. Um, there was a, there was a, there was a fantastic build for punk and Rollins in the midst of this, but again, just getting there, I felt like I would have just liked the straight for it. True match as well, though. I think we just could have just did. I think they still could have, they still could have told the story with Rollins as not the referee in this match. You know what I mean? Yeah. Uh, but I thought Drew performed well. I thought, like I said, that the storytelling stuff was great. I just wanted it to be more. It just never really felt like it hit that, that third, I don't know, it didn't feel like it hit that third act, man. It just felt like it just, it got to a point where it had the tension between all three guys and it never really crescendoed into anything for me. It just felt like, uh, all right, they're still unfinished business here. Tune in Monday. Yeah. When that's cool. If this, if this is a raw match, but not for a pay per view, what you're saying is frustrating for Drew because it's like, is this when going to mean anything? Cause it's like that feels like they're just getting to the next match and is it the next match punk beating them? I'm like, is that going to erase what this did? Yeah. Um, I thought that the outcome was correct. I think Drew needed this win. Yes. But I definitely did not feel like this was a definitive win, especially afterwards when he took the bracelet and walked away, I was like, Oh, this isn't over. Um, and that's probably the thing earlier on the pod that this needed to be over after this. I wanted them to put a bow on this, but then also after I watched it, I was thinking, okay, there are two pay per views in August because fashion Berlin is at the end of the month. You got three weeks to build to that. The next match is going to be bashing Berlin. So I, and it's the same way that I feel about the live match. I think the next match is going to be bashing the Berlin. So they can just build off of what happened here at SummerSlam and keep this going. But the problem with that is that's not what I want out of a SummerSlam match. This is a one of the big four pay per views and you're building this as one of the biggest matches of the night. It did not feel like one of the biggest matches of the night. It felt inconclusive. The way that we were describing it earlier and they needed to hit her home run, I don't really think they hit her home run. It leaned way too heavily on story, honestly. I didn't think it felt like a home run. I thought Punk looked like he was in good shape in the match. I thought he looked clearly gassed at several points. But the great thing about WWE style is it lends to him being able to lay down and get the rest spots and then come back and hit the big moves. The problem is I just think for the pacing of this match and like I said, the story and the tone you were going for, it didn't really hit the mark for me. I don't think it was a bad match. I enjoyed the story. I just want it more. I kind of preferred if they would have just, like at the end of it, both of them are bloody punching the shit out of each other and Rollins has to pull him apart. It just was too, like you said, it was a little too sanitized, a little too clean. Or the story that they told going into this. But right outcome, they told a lot of story with Punk and Rollins and Drew will get something out of this. Some things are good. Heavily on the friendship, Braceley was like taking me out of the match honestly. Yeah. But I enjoyed this for what it is. Seth leaving afterwards, clearly annoyed and pulling the ref shirt off. Before he can even get to the back, I thought that there was a clear sign like, look, next time I see you, it ain't none of this. It's a match. I'm not about to just let you get this go to sleep off on me. Next time I see you, it's up. Now, I kind of mentioned it in passing a little bit ago, but do you think they'll run a triple threat match at the Berlin or do you think they'll get Drew away from this? I don't know. I feel like it's going to be Punk versus Drew in some way. They're not done with this. Maybe it'll be the triple threat match. For my tastes, I don't think they should do that. I think that they should push Punk versus Rollins down the road. I don't think those guys should touch again until they're ready to do the one-on-one match. Yeah. Yeah. So maybe just run this rematch from tonight back without Rollins as the referee at Bash of the Berlin. Because I feel like that's kind of the story because at one point, Drew tried to introduce a chair into the match and before he could use it, Seth immediately pulled it away, which was odd to me because he told us in the promo on Monday, "Hey, there are no rules. There are no DQs. It's what I decide goes." So wait, you didn't count them out when they had that long-gated bro outside, but then when he brought the chair in, it was like, "I can't do that, hey, hold on, I'm not going to let you do that." It was just like, "Okay." So maybe we're supposed to think that this match would have gotten more violent if Seth was not in the picture, so maybe the next match will get to that place. I would hope so, but also I'm not really sure at this point. I mean, we saw Sam Puck match for the first time in a long time, and yeah, I think for this point in his career, working in WWE is going to work a lot better than working in AEW. He did that whole match and then he didn't have to hit a Buckshot Lariat after 45 minutes, you know, or try to hit a Buckshot Lariat. Yeah, again, this is going to be a very divisive match. When I lucked online afterwards, I saw some people that really liked it and they were saying it was match of the night, and I was like, "I guess," and I saw people that were like, "This is terrible, this was awful," and I'm kind of in between. I don't think that it was awful, but I definitely don't think it was match of the night. It wasn't match of the night. No, sir. Let's get into a few super chats. Matt Logan says, "Brace lit on a pole match." That's the rematch. Landlue says, "A French lit, French lit, I can't even say it." So funny. Apex caliber says, "Bad blood got to be a three-way hell in the cell with punk Drew and Seth." Yeah. I think if you're going to do a hell in the cell match, I would just do punk versus Drew. Yes. See, this is how you're supposed to build a hell in the cell. If we're going to get to that, this is the kind of feud that needs to get to it, but they maybe shouldn't have went so hard on the "I'm going to kill you" going into this match if they weren't going to kill them, you know? Right. Yeah, I think that's it for now. Let's see. We have any upper chats here, buh, buh, buh, buh, buh. We do have one from John Holler. He says, "Imagine losing your blood if you've matched over a friendship bracelet. Punk looked really dumb, getting that upset with Seth." But I think that that was the point. The point is that he got over paranoid, he got overexcited because he immediately saw he was like, "Wait a minute. What are you doing? That's mine. What are you doing wearing that?" So I think that was the whole point is that he let his paranoia get the best of him. He let punk be punk. Yeah. If you leave punk to his devices, he's his own worst enemy. And of course, the great irony of that is that's what he accused Drew of coming into this match that you keep getting in your own way and the reason you lost this match is because you got in your own way. So this is continuing. Yes. Absolutely. I love it. So funny. Let's see. A handful of more super chats from this match, I believe. This match. Who was in this match? Oh, yeah. There are some. I was like, "Wait, who's in this?" When TwinBlaze says, "The worst part of the show from the GIFs I'm seeing is Seth Shorts were nowhere near the short enough." It's very sad. Really? No, he had the big baggy, glittery pants on. That's it. He went in reverse. Reverse. Reverse. Dante V says, "Am I in the minority thinking that WWE production is too clean? It's pretty clean." I think that that was the issue with this match. Yeah. I think that that was kind of the issue with the main event as well. You sold it as one thing and it was very clean, it was very safe, it was very by the numbers. That's kind of like, as production, production, lighting, everything, that's been their thing for a long time. Now when I watch old wrestling, the wrestling that they told us was less than, I'm like, "Well, this is all wrestling's supposed to look. Sometimes it shouldn't look so bright and clean and over and blah, blah, blah, but that's their game." Yeah. That's their style. Big money. Yeah. Very over-produced, pay-per-view in general. The backstage segments were aligned at points. That man's changed one. Tons and tons of advertisement. Oh my gosh. Tons of product placement. I was like, "Oh my gosh, bro, get to the matches." Sometimes you don't realize how... It's savage matches, bro. I'm saying, sometimes you don't realize how much it is. And then it's happening. You're like, "Dude, like back to back with it." Enough, bro. Give me the matches, man. You're supposedly giving me this seven match card so that this show is succinct. Just get to it. With all of this filler, I feel like you could have gave us an F match. Eight match. Every time. Every show. You... I don't know. But... At the time, every show. Uh, from Jay Paul R, he says, "Was Drew Entrance Alphabet cosplay of The Deep from the Boys? Also, I'm tired of Cole overselling of dog shit booking." Um... I don't know. It looked like it was like dragon inspired, if I had to guess. I didn't get the deep vibe. It looked like it was dragon if I had to guess. Yeah. One point in the main event when Bloodline runs in, Michael Kogels. Oh, wow. Like, he's really shocked. I'm like, "Dawg, we've seen this 50 times already." He tried to give his, uh, JR, uh, call on, uh, the live thing as well, and I was like, "No." I didn't eat that. Yeah. Keep it. Oh, wow. No. Wow. Um, from, uh, board 360, he says, uh, "We all know who's the reason this match was a slow match. Everybody, Seth was the most over guy in the match, and that's why, why Phil lost. Fragile mind. Due to chump, props to Rollins still gets a summer slam pop. Um, I was surprised how over Rollins was throughout this match. Uh, Krow was very much singing for him while he was just in the ring, and I thought that was funny. At one point, uh, Drew and Punk are outside, brawling outside the ring, and he's just standing in the ring with his arms up, and they're just singing his song not caring about what's going on outside at all, um, which kind of lends to what I said earlier. Maybe you should've just let this guy wrestle on the show, but I thought that too. At the beginning where they're squaring off and Seth's holding him back, and he's about to ring the bell, and he just holds his hands up, and the crowd goes insane. I'm like, well, maybe if he was, you know, like he's over, if he wasn't a match, these people would like it, I think. Yeah. Um, well, you know, go figure, Mr. Summer Slam. He was there. He still got a paycheck. Yeah. He showed up. He did his job. Didn't have to get slammed. Yeah. Hey, listen. It's too hard. Not a, not a bad, nice work. We got three matches left. Three matches. Okay, before we get into our last three matches, the, the, the, the, the, um, we are excited to partner with Swag Off and tell you about their NWO golf club heavy covers, which dropped just in time for Summer Slam, their lottery just opened up at five p.m. central on swagoff.com. Um, you can check these out if you're interested, have a nice cover for your, your golf club. I'm assuming that's just a pouch to put your, your, uh, golf balls in, um, has a magnet on its top, um, swagoff.com is the place to go for those, like I said, uh, get on, get in on their Hollywood Hogan blade and how, and mallet covers, uh, just put those picks up ASAP because these are spots filled up fast. Uh, they also have swag across other fandoms and original designs. So if you do not want to get your wolf pack joint saw for your, uh, Hollywood Hogan off, they do have other things from other fandom. Check those all out on swagoff.com. I just happen to have some in front of me. Sir. Is that official? Hey, like I said, you could put the golf balls in it, has a magnet on there, close it up for you. Keep that close. Uh, if you want to cover like a big mallet cover, you didn't have the Hollywood Hogan on it. Good quality. Good stitching. Check that out. Swagoff.com. Great job. Uh, yeah, there are last three patches. I'm saying people saying boo Hogan, but that's also why there are other fandoms on there. Of course, this is a wrestling podcast. So we want to get into the wrestling thing joints, but we do have stuff over other things. Hey, man, maybe if you do not want to represent again, Wolfpack, baby, can't go wrong with the Wolfpack. They can shout out to Big Cam. That's the only I want to interview Big Cam. Oh, yeah. That is definitely a dream interview for me, uh, in a lot of ways, uh, all time. Great worker man. One of the, one of the greatest workers of all time, not in ring worker, just, yeah, you know what I mean? Time for next week, man, like if he could still, he would be right along with Jeff Jarrett. If his body allowed him to, like he's still be working every everywhere. If he was a, if his body allowed him to, absolutely. Um, but yeah, we've got, uh, three more matches to get into, uh, great title matches to get into. Uh, first we had the WWE Women's Championship match, uh, Bailey took on Nia Jax. Um, I was surprised how much I enjoyed this match. I thought this was the better of the two women's matches on this card. Um, I think Nia has been tremendous since she's come back. I think you could very much make the argument that she's had one of the best comebacks to the company since 2021. Uh, she's come back in better shape. She's looked more motivated. Uh, her new finisher off the top rope looks convincing. Um, I really liked her winning Queen of the Ring. I thought it was a shame that, uh, the Summer Slam match was so far away from King and the Queen of the Ring because she kind of lost some of that momentum. And I thought she got it back tonight with the win. I was kind of surprised she got the win, but she deserved it. Yeah, this was a really fun match. Nia Jax and she's came back has been, I don't know what she did when she was out, but like she came back more intense. She came back with a better character more like everything she improved tenfold. And I thought that she worked this match really smartly. We talked earlier on Graph City, both of us kind of chose Bailey to win this match. So like, as it's going down, of course, like matches happening, Tiffany runs down with her briefcase to tease that she's going to cash it in. We're all like, Oh damn, she's, she isn't as she's going to cash it in. She gets on the apron, Bailey knocks her out. Nia takes advantage, hits two sick as power bombs. That second jackknife power bomb killed Bailey and then she hit the double bonsai drop and it was all over with Nia looked deadly in that match. I thought the tees of Tiffany and the trickery of Tiffany was a great finish, you know, on top of all these crazy distraction finish. I thought this was another one that worked. This was a really fun match. Yeah, I, I thought it parts of it because all of these matches kind of had that same pace of the heel kind of working and wearing the baby face down and the baby face would start to make their comeback when, when Bailey started making her comeback, the crowd was in it when she hit that power bomb off the top rope, you know, lost it and Bailey not for nothing, man. She shows a real strength on that. I did not walk her to the middle. That was crazy. I did not think she would be able to get her all the way up and then walk forward and slam her like that. It was a great, she hit the elbow drop afterwards, elbow drop was clean. I thought that was the end of the match when it happened. I was like, yo, this is, that's a, that's a dope finish if you're going with that. But that ended up being a really good false finish. The crowd was into it at that point. But then when you introduced Tiffany into it, I immediately thought, okay, I don't see Tiffany cash again, just based off of the politics and the corporate side of the company. They want to sell some of them briefcases. They just introduced it. I cannot see her cash again immediately. And then that briefcase is not on TV anymore now. So I, I kind of figured this was a red herring. I thought it was a good way to distract Bailey Bailey immediately, not Tiffany off the apron. And then you like, like you said, Nia grabbed her immediately, hit those two power bombs devastating power power bomb, hit the first annihilator off of the top rope. And we'll second rope and then came back up, hit the belt on him like, oh, y'all thought she was going to win. Hit the second one confidently photo her arms on over her one, two, three. Yeah. I really enjoyed this match. Nia was talking shit to somebody in the crowd too, right after she won. She pointed to somebody was like, yeah, you right there. That was a really, really good, really dominating way to win the championship. And it told a great story because Nia has been saying coming to this match, she's like, Tiffany, if you cash in on me, it's going to be over with the over with for you. So them teasing that and then being like, no, this actually was a plan. I thought was really smart. Yeah. And really, Nia's plan worked because her plan was to use Tiffany as a pawn to distract Bailey. And it worked a perfection. She managed to come behind and get the win here. It does bother me. I do think that they definitely botched this rain with Bailey. I thought that they could have done much better with her story wise. And I don't think she really got the feud out of this rain comparable to the story that they told going in a WrestleMania and how big that storyline was with damage control. I don't think the follow up was good at all. They could have done much more with her, but I'm not mad at night winning. I think two things can be true. I think you can believe that Nia deserved this, but also feel like they short changed Bailey. I feel like Bailey never gets the proper show and never gets what she truly deserves. The work that she puts in to get to it, the work that she does while doing it, she never gets the proper finish and never gets the proper send off. And it's always so unfortunate because throughout this, first of all, to win the championship, one of the best matches of the year, and she's been working hard to improve her look. She's been acting like a world champion, making media appearances. She's been doing it, but she hasn't been presented like she should, but this was really fun. And I thought that she played her role really well here, as always. >> Yeah, I thought in spot, she did an admirable job as champion. You know Bailey, Bailey's gonna work hard to bring the other women up. She's always one of those that wants to be the tie that brings up all ships with her. And I think she did the best she could. I just think it's unfortunate that they still don't seem to know how to book her. I thought it was very ironic in some ways when she came out that she looked like Hugger Bailey again. She had the tassels on her jacket. Even when she took her jacket and stuff off in the gear, it looked like Hugger Bailey gear. I'm not the biggest fan of her current theme, so I'm just like, bro, bring back the Hugger Bailey theme. >> I don't think her theme fits her at all. >> I don't either. That's why I'm like, at this point, just bring back the NXT theme. >> Cuz knowing the type of music that the real person listens to, and then even the character, it just doesn't. Like even when they debuted it for her, it still didn't really fit her character. Like they were trying to make this chain, I'm like, but that's not really the direction I would think that Bailey would want her theme to sound like. You know what I mean? >> Yeah. Just another guy that they thought that this was Macho Man Bailey, it did give me very big Macho Man Vader vibes this match. But yeah, I really enjoyed this match. I think it was the better of the two women's matches tonight. >> Me too, yeah, I kind of figured it would be though, cuz they got just, that other one's kind of based on more story, and this one was like, they're gonna get more time to work and develop the match, you know? >> Yeah, I think when Bailey had got the chances to work as champion and get the pay-per-view matches, she did perform well. I thought she performed well here, like I said, that power bomb, that was one of the best spots of the night for me. I mean, not for nothing, this was definitely one of my favorite matches on the show. Same here, and if Bailey looks back at the year that she had, I mean, big match at SummerSlam, huge match at WrestleMania, like, I mean, can't complain too much. >> Yeah, I just wish they would have followed up better on her win at WrestleMania, especially how big the story was, but it is what it is. I'm glad that Nia's getting another run this champion because her initial run year to go wasn't great. And I think they have the chance to do something pretty interesting with her and Tiffany, so I'm on board. >> Yeah, this feels like, I don't want to say a reset for Nia, but like a rejuvenation, it's like a difference. They could essentially erase that rain and make people forget it ever happened if they proceed with this one in the right way. >> Yeah, I agree. >> Couple of super chats, Matt Logan says Bailey showing her power. >> Yep. >> Got power bomb, like, if you guys need to see something from this match, Bailey power bombing Nia Jax, crazy. >> Will Chisholm says, not saying it's a good job for a person to lose their job, but I think it did something Nia. >> Yeah, I definitely think she came back with a fire under her to prove a lot of her critics wrong. And I think in a lot of ways she's had, I think she's worked better. I mean, when you just look at the year she's had just returning in a big way of rumble, having a stuff with Jade in a rumble, having a few with Becky and had a pretty good match with Becky after that. Main event of the pay-per-view with Rhea, I think that that's been her, that was her best match to date. And then getting a big match this year at SummerSlam and winning. It's been a pretty solid year for her so far. >> Yeah, she like has gotten to the top woman level with this. And so moving forward, she's always going to be a threat to every championship, I think. So coming out of this new run, it's all working out for her. >> Yeah. >> Jay Holler says, what direction do you see Bailey going now? >> I don't know. Maybe she is going to find a tag team partner and challenge for the tag belts eventually. If I do feel like they're going to do something with her and Bianca down the road, I assume that Bianca was eventually going to challenge Bailey for the women's title. But I can also see Jane Bianca winning the tag belts back and Bailey entering the tag title picture. >> What, Naomi? >> That is actually smart because that would be the thing that gets the tension between Naomi and Bianca. I can see that. >> Yep, that makes a lot of sense. >> Because they've been kind of telling that story since Naomi came back of Bailey being like, I'm happy to see you back essentially if you need something I got you, you know? >> That does make a lot of sense with the story they've been telling since WrestleMania was Naomi. >> Look at that. We're cooking. >> That might be it, man. >> I think they've been doing better with the women's tag team championships but need more, you know? >> Yeah, for sure. You've got to build some rivalries around that title. >> That's it. >> That's the big problem. >> That's the Super Chats. >> I don't have any Harper Chats as of yet but again, HarperChats.com/fightful. Next up we have the World Heavyweight Championship match. Damian Priest defended his title against Gunther. This was good. This was another one where it didn't really quite hit that gear that I wanted it to. I thought for me going into the show, I thought this was going to be the match of the night. Gunther has a pace to his matches and he kind of has a style to his matches, especially his icy champion that I've really enjoyed. And this was kind of the opposite in a lot of ways of what I've enjoyed of those matches. What did you think about it? >> I think the story they were trying to tell is that Damian Strong and I get it. And they tried to like, because usually Gunther comes in here and he's full throttle. He's chopping pulls, knocking them down, beating them up and he was on defense for a lot of it. They had Damian being like, "He's strong. He could compete with Gunther." But it's like, I don't want to say he can't, but Gunther is more dominant than this. You know what I mean? >> Yeah. I get that they were supposed to be making the point here that a lot of people underestimated Damian coming into this. >> Exactly. >> And not when any of his matches coming into this match clean. There was a lot of interference in those other matches. So straight away, everybody was picking Gunther to win this match. But Damian really showed out in this match. He really proved himself. Gunther came out with those big contusions on his chest and Priest bursted them open pretty quickly in the match with those strikes. And I think that helped the match just the fact that there was real blood in it. >> Yeah. >> But I think the way that Damian worked this match, like controlling the pace. Because that's kind of the thing that Gunther does. Gunther uses his strength and he kind of grinds you down and he just beats you at straightforward wrestling. But Damian uses his strikes and he really controlled the pace for most of this match. >> He did a lot of angles. >> Yeah, I thought that that was smart. I thought the spots where he was using the kicks to keep him grounded. The kicks looked clean. They looked stiff. He was going back and forth with him with the chops. Those looked clean. We got to the Finn bit to the match. >> The Finn bits. >> This is where, again, I think that WWE has those moments where it just felt a bit overbooked to me. So Finn comes down and he's acting like he is rooting on Damian to win. The match is going at the regular pace. Gunther's starting to work his way back into the match. But Damian basically has him beat. Hits him with the south of heaven and puts him down. Looks like he's going to win. But Finn puts his foot on a rope and then does this dramatic turn and looks the other way. And he's got that sinister look on his face. I'm just like, okay. >> He's doing like that side. So the camera has to catch my smirk because I did this on purpose. >> Right. So initially, when Damian hit his finisher, I thought that Gunther was going to roll out the ring because he started rolling closer to the rope. >> No, Damian priest rolls him to the ropes. I'm like, wait, what are you doing, dude? Yeah, if you watch it back, like he hits the top. >> It looks like Gunther started rolling first. >> No, Damian priest rolls him over and get him in position. Yeah, it looks not good. I was watching. I was like, no, don't roll him over here. Let him roll over there. >> No, that feels like close to the money in the bank thing again. >> Same thing. Yes, and it's right. The camera is right here in the fucking shot. He gets out of heaven, rolls him to the ropes to get to fin, and then fin does the thing. And then after that, Phil, Damian priest watches the instant replay on the screen. >> So that makes what I was about to say even worse because where I was going with it is, it looked like Gunther started rolling to the ropes. And he stopped shorting the ropes instead of just rolling out because that's what I thought he was going to do when he started rolling. I was like, oh, that's smart. He's going to roll out of the ring and then take his time getting back in. But he didn't. He started rolling and then stopped shorting the rope. And then fin put his foot on the rope. And I was just like, why didn't he just roll out? That was weird. But it was fine because I knew it was setting up the fin thing. And so when that got to the near fall and it kept the match going, I was like, all right, you're just going to do the sleeper. That's kind of the end of the match. And it wasn't. It was a sleeper. And this is where it got silly to me because. Priest looked at the Titan Tron and he saw that fin sheet again. So then he went to grab Finn. He tried to choke him. He tried to choke Finn. And that's when Gunther locked in a sleeper hold and he tried to choke him out. Damien fights out of the sleeper hold. He's looking at Finn the whole time he's in the sleeper hold. He's looking at Finn the whole time he's in the sleeper hold. Like you said, fight out of the sleeper hold. I'm thinking after he fights out, okay, he's going to turn around. Maybe hit him with another south of heaven and then try to pin him again. No, he went and launched him and fed again. I was like, why did he do that? What are you doing? And I thought that that made him look so stupid. I was like in character. When he's watching Finn as he's in the super home, I'm like, okay, this is, I guess this is the story again. He's going to fall asleep or, you know, be choked out while watching Finn. No, he gets out of the sleeper hold and then he tries to choke Finn. I'm like, wait, why are you choking Finn? Well, as soon as he did it, I was like, what are they doing? And I think this is where WWE is just too much. He just overbooked this because I get it in some of the other matches. Like I get it in the punk and true match. Like you're trying to make the point that these three guys hate each other. And so, um, punk got in his own way here and you're trying to tell the same story. I was really in the show, um, where they had to shoulder thing in the rear match. And then in the next match, you had brunch working a shoulder angle too. It's like, why did you do that? You didn't really need that. You were, especially if this was going to be a squash match. Why did you do that? And so in this match, you have this where you were supposed to believe, okay, it's Damien's fault that he lost because he overreacted and he was too focused on Finn. No, you're the champion. Like it just didn't make any sense to me. I thought that that made him look so stupid. Why wouldn't you protect your championship, dude? Like if you get out of the thing, fight Gunther back first and deal with Finn later. It doesn't matter. Finn, it's not like Finn was on the apron still. He was out of the match. He was out of the ring. He was out of the way of interference. Like you could have just won the match and dealt with Finn afterwards. Yeah. You had to choke him though. That he watched out of the ring. I'm like, no, why is you watching out of the ring like that? You know what it looked like? It looked like when you're playing 2K 24 and you left the targeting on the wrong wrestler. It's like, no, no, no, that is. I was not going for him. I was going for him. Why didn't you dive out? Bro, what are you doing? And Gunther just brings him right back in and starts choking him again. I'm like, okay. Yeah. I was like, okay. And so, and that's how he won. Yeah. Like they should have just did the first part. Like he, I would have been fine with him looking at Finn as he's being put to sleep. And then that's it. But instead of him getting out and trying to fight Finn and then getting put back in. It was like, that was a little too much. Yeah. It was a bit too much. I think the actual turn from Finn, um, that worked, but it just didn't need the extra lunge at the end. I thought that that was a bit silly. Um, I did laugh very hard at Gunther after all that. And he won. He didn't care about none of that shit over celebrating the term walk over the commentary. Told everybody that got up, get out the way, stood up on a commentary table. I'm like, bro, this guy is milking this when like he kissed his wife. He was like, bro, it was dope to see Jenny again. I was like, yo, it's Jenny. And he kissed his wife. Yo, he did this victory like lap like he completely won this. Like, no problem. He was like out of character. He's like smiling, slapping hands and I'm like, Gunther, just so he don't care about nothing. Yeah. I thought all of that. I didn't move out of the way. And he got him there. Now stay wide. That was really, really funny. Shout out to Big Gunther, our new world heavyweight champion. I do think that that was the right outcome to this match. How we got there was a bit silly to me, but yeah, it was funny. I'm like, bro, what are you doing, man? But yeah, it was kind of a, I kind of wished he because I understand what they did with the judgment day. I kind of wish Finn would have struck him or something, you know what I mean? Yeah, I think the turn up just like the way you turned on him was putting Gunther's foot on there. Like. And then like I said, you did the dramatic turn. Yeah, I was like, maybe a little bit more. Yeah. That's why I said it was a bit too, it was kind of my issue with the entire show. This tone of things just being overproduced or overbooked, but the match itself was good. It wasn't as good as I hoped it was going to be, but I thought it was a very strong match. I wasn't the biggest fan of the finish, but the match overall, I thought was good. If Damien Priest would have had like 10 of these, we would be thinking different of his title range. For sure. I think that he proved himself as champion in this match and you definitely got across the story that if Finn did not interfere, that he would have retained, but that's even more so why I thought the second lunge was so unnecessary because that entire match he had proved himself and he showed like, man, I got this. I'm going to win. Essentially you won earlier when Finn did the foot thing, like, why are you, you saw that you could win? Why are you fighting Finn? Yeah. And Franklin Goodman said, "Lungment day." That's pretty good one, bro. Honestly, though, he just couldn't control his emotions yet to fight Finn. Nobody could control their emotions tonight, though. Nobody. Everybody's undoing was kind of the same thing. Damn. It's unfortunate. Look at you. Emotional. It's what the World Championship will do to you, but yeah, shout out to Gunther. Well deserved. We all knew this was coming. Hopefully they give him the run. He was essentially what he was doing with the Intercontinental Championship as the World Champion. I'm super interested to see how they book him. I hope they don't just do that. He's the champion now. He'll never work again. Thing. That's so stupid. Yeah. I hope he goes back to the style of matches he was having as I see champion. I don't know how we're going to book Bryan moving forward if he's going to be like the workhorse television guy and we're just going to get the special matches here and there. For my taste, for the Berlin match, I think it should be Finn versus Gunther and Damien should come in and interfere and stop Finn from winning, but we've been chasing this Finn Gunther match for so long that I think they should just pull the trigger on it. Do it. That's a perfect place to do it to. And Gunther just talked about wanting to do that, so. Yeah. There's no super chats on this one, I think. Cooper National. Got one match left. I'm pretty sure that it's a match that a lot of people are waiting for us to get into because there was a pretty big moment at the end. One last call for Harper Chats and Super Chats before we get into our last match, but this is the big one. The main event, Bloodline Rules Match, Cody Rose defended the undisputed WWE champion against the Facto Tribal Chief, Solo Secola. This was very interesting. Solo came out first, and then again, we got all of the backstage stuff, and I was wondering, "Okay, where's all this going?" We got all these commercials and stuff, and we got all these commercials and stuff in between Solo coming out, and then we finally got to Cody in this trailer, came out with Pharaoh. With Pharaoh, we got word that this is the last time he was going to be able to walk out and do the show with Pharaoh. I don't think they told us why is it that he's just getting too old, and he wants to stay at home. They want to keep him at home. I guess so. Yeah. That's kind of the vibe that I got when they were like, "Yeah, this is Pharaoh's last walk to the ring." But why though? Yeah, that was interesting. I'm glad we didn't bring him out there. Remember that time, Cody brought him out there, and the poor dog was out there doing his pyro. And I was like, "Cody, why'd you do this?" That was the exact thing I was afraid of. When there's walking down, I'm like, "I hope he drops Pharaoh off at some point, because the pyro, Pharaoh don't." There's 50,000 people out here, Pharaoh don't need to be out there. Yeah. Beautiful majestic dog comes out, walks out, Cody passes. Cody entourage, I believe that was Brandi's mother that was out there. He ran into the big homie at one point. Then, of course, ran into court. Aaron Anderson. That was a big surprise. I was not expecting to see him. And he gave him some words of wisdom, told him he's got some friends in his corner this time. Don't worry. I wondered what that meant, if that meant that Aaron brought somebody with him. Maybe we were going to see somebody new from the nightmare factory or something. But it turns out it's just his old friends that have been taken out along the way. It turns out that our friends are just the friends we made along the way. Who would have thought it? But wait, was Aaron talking about Rome? I don't know. I assumed he was talking about Randy and Kevin Owens. Okay. They're going to connect that. Yeah. Based on the match, I assumed it was them. Okay. What happened? Oh, right, it says, that was looking for... Oh, come on, you guys. You can't do that. I think he's still contracted, so I don't think he was here, but he can't do that. I don't think he can do that. He might have been in that bus somewhere, though, honestly. He might have been hanging out. He was back there somewhere. Is that the after-party? They're so funny. Oh, silly. I was looking for Randy as crazy. Oh, my God. Yeah. We got to follow Cody the rest of the way during his entrance. He put the big skull helmet on, walked out, got a fantastic pop, still one of the most popular baby faces in wrestling. Big pop, brother. When that music hit, oh, my God. Yeah. Looked great. The match was pretty much what I expected. You know what, Phil? I was very surprised, because earlier, remember, we were talking about an ungracity, and like, you were like, they have to work this certain style of match, it's a bloodline rules, there's going to be all this plunder, and there was in at all. This is what's so crazy about it. When I say the match is what I expected in terms of those two guys and how they would work together, that's what I expected, but at some point halfway through this match, I was like, where's the plunder? Where did they go? What's going on? It was the same way I felt during the Drew and Punk match, like, all right, get to the shenanigans. What's going on? And so, none of that happened, and I mean, they worked fine together. I thought they had decent chemistry for what it was. I thought Cody at some point carried this. He just, of course, Cody is a better worker, he's more experienced. Cody at some point, like, he just, it just reminded me watching, like, Cody's very good wrestler. He, like, really understands it. Prime example, there was a spot where he got on the top turn buckle, and I don't know if he misjudged how far that Jacob, uh, solo was because it looked like he was about to do a cutter off of the top rope, but then when he recognized while doing it, how far solo was, he just continued to rotate into a moon salt, like a splash or something. Because at first, I was like, wait, what's he done? Then it turned into this moon salt. It's like, okay, I think he just recovered out of it and he recovered and just figured it out. I'm a fly really well. Yeah. No, Cody is extremely great at doing stuff like that, knowing when to be in spots, knowing exactly when the hit stuff, like he is prime for this. This match was going along fine, but then I was, I just started having flashbacks. I'm like, this feels like every bloodline match we ever seen, because I'm just waiting for Roman Reigns to show up this whole time, you know? I did. I was waiting for. All right. When are the other guys going to come out? When are we going to get the ref pump? And I think it's, you didn't even need the ref pump because it's a bloodline rules match, but that's also why when they did show up, I was like, okay, Cody, get a chair and beat these guys up. Like, why are you just letting these guys come in and interfere? It's a bloodline rules match. There are no rules. You could just do what you want item, get something, get a weapon, come away. What's going on here? And then like, I hate it because it, if I'm like, this is the same summer slam match, we've been seeing when it, when they get to the, they're beating up Cody and then they watch a solo pinum and then like it's, I'm like, you guys, we have to think of a different way to do this at this point. Yeah. But I thought they worked a decent match. I could definitely see the limitations of trying to do just a straightforward Cody solo match. I don't think the solo is a bad wrestler, but it doesn't feel like he's far enough for long just yet to be considered a main inventor, at least not on the caliber that Cody is. And that's why I say in bits of it, you could definitely tell where Cody was carrying and leading this match. And you know, it was fine. Nothing blew me away, of course. When other bloodline guys came out, Tom Otago, Tom Deloa. Tomo was on some shit in this match. Tom Otago is fucking hilarious, bro. I, I, when he first started doing the growling bit, I was just like, this is so dumb. Why are they doing this to this guy? This guy is actually a very good talker. He's, he's got a hell of a lot of charisma. He moves well. And you've got this guy doing this growl, bro. First of all, when he did it Friday, when he was walking out with those belts and he had a close, all closest about, he was like, yeah, I was like, this dude is a whole full man, and it was the same in this match. He, he was very funny at this, he like hit that before doing like this running, carrying thing to the corner on Cody. I'm like, yeah, it's a full dog. Tom Otago is great, man. And that just makes that how great he is that he's managed to make this work for him. And he's going to eventually get this over. It was so funny. Now, when he first did it, I was like, this is dumb. Why are they doing this? Now I'm like, that is hilarious dog, like making a dog that says it like he's on his way. He made a bit. Oh, yeah, but yeah, then the homie Jake showed up and he showed out as always hitting the big whisper in the wind, the big double moonsault, but then something unfortunate. I think have we, I don't even know if we got an update at this point. Like set up Cody outside for on the announce table, hit the giant splash from the top rope to the, the announce table. But it looked like he might have messed his leg up like he couldn't even stand up after it. Yeah, I got scared immediately. Because soon as he landed the splash, he grabbed his ankle immediately, like instantly grabbed the ankle. Right. That's the first thing that he did. And it didn't look like like he does that, like a thing where he like sells and then he gets into it. Like he looked like he tried to sell out of it and stand up. But like he couldn't. Yeah. When he stood up on it and fell right back down, that's when I got really worried because I was like, Oh, no, I hope he's okay. Um, good. I mean, they are fully invested in Jacob. They put all. Just won the belts last night. Just won the tactile. They put all their chips in front of him. Um, and he looked fantastic in the spots he was in here. Again, he looks like the most dynamic wrestler of the four of those guys, um, the spots he hit in the match that double, that double jump, uh, moves, how he does looks clean every time it does. He does it. The air he gets on it. Just tremendous. Uh, but yeah, I was very scared and this is again, just goes to show you, uh, Jacob's uh, experience and that's why, you know, for whatever you can say about solo, I think that he's really grown into this role. I think he's grown as a talker. I think he's grown as a character. Uh, I, I think he'll get better as a worker. That stuff will get there, but I think that he's gotten much better as a character while on a main roster, but you can already see in those other three guys that they have the experience to do things on fly. There's more experience. That's all it is. Yeah. Yeah. Like when Jacob couldn't stand up on it, he, he laid up against the barricade and it looked like a solo was getting closer to him and then he started throwing a chair like, no, no. Get in that. Yeah. And that was a great improv, improvise. If he, if he was really hurt, that was very, very smart because, uh, solo look kind of like, oh shit, like maybe we were supposed to be getting into something and, and Jake's like, no, get them, get them, beat his ass, finish them, essentially get away from me, get him in the ring and get away from this. Yeah. I, I, yeah. That removed for sure is acting in that moment. I thought was great. And, uh, that was, that was great. But yeah, we got into the finishing stretch of the match, which feels like a lot of finishing stretches to bloodline matches. I kind of don't like now that in all of these matches, Cody does the same. I got to hit you with three crossroads to win the match. It doesn't hit the same now. Like it should have been done with Roman, you know, yeah, I get why you had to do it with Roman, but that's Roman, Roman has been booked like an unbeatable figure. So I get why you got to do that to him. We do that with every opponent. We seen that. The reason that it works with Roman is because we seen that you couldn't beat him with just one on multiple occasion. That's why you're getting free. Yeah. So I, I didn't think you needed that here. Like you slow walking into the three and you giving them time to come in and if you, I didn't really need that. Uh, that was another situation in this where I felt that was a bit overbooked, but it is what it is. Uh, but yeah, uh, towards the end of this match, it looked like solo could pull up the win. And then we got, uh, big Romy, Roman's music, Roman Reigns is back. Uh, it seems like they have remixed his theme music. I was not a big fan of that. It's like slower pace. It seems like it's, I'm like, how are you going to make this song slower? You guys don't. Even slower. Like more of a classical vibe, but, uh, Roman slowly walked down to the ring. Uh, they did a great job with the camera angle following him from behind while he got into the ring and it made it look like, Oh, we don't know who he's going to attack immediately. Hit solo with the Superman punch, got in the corner, hit him with the spear, got back out of the ring and stared down Cody the whole time. Cody reluctantly hit solo with one lash crossroads, picks up the win one, two, three. Um, yeah, somebody saying that it's just the Wrestlemania thing. It's just a very. Oh, that makes sense. That makes sense. Yeah. That makes sense. Um, but yeah, uh, I thought the execution of the Roman stuff was very good. Uh, Roman got the reaction that we knew he would get. Uh, and he, it's starting, it's starting to baby face turn. Uh, we've got yet another Roman shirt, OTC, I'm assuming that stands for original tribal chief. Um, but yeah, I based off of this, stare down, there's only one logical next step for this Cody Rose versus Roman three had bashing Berlin. I feel like that has to be the move. If you want a big match for that card, there's no other match. That's the one. This, uh, I've talked about it multiple times, even before Roman had lost a championship, I said when Roman comes back, the pop that he gets is going to be insane and brother. Oh my God. When Romans music hit the way the insane amount of craziness that this crowd persuade and showed out of that they were going nuts and just on his walkout. And so when he gets in and hits solo with the Superman punch, I haven't heard anything like that. And I'm watching on TV. I couldn't imagine how it is, but when he hits solo and that pop that that crowd fucking did was crazy. Like, I'm like, oh yeah, him just standing in the ring. I'm like, oh, this is the guy. That's Roman. Like nobody. The aura, all the things that you want to describe this person, Roman reigns has it like the way that he came out and looks like the biggest star here. I was like, damn, they, a lot of people can't do it. Like Rome. Really great way to bring him back. I thought. Yeah. I thought the execution was really good here. I mean, before the match even started, Cody was getting cheers, but those, we want Roman chance started really early in the night. And by the time they got to the main event, they were even louder. Yeah. Great. Really great execution. Really great way to continue the story and make him a baby face. He's going to be one of the hottest baby faces in the company soon. The rematch with Cody is going to be a big one. I have to assume, like I said, that's probably going to happen at Bash in Berlin. And I have to assume that Jacob is going to come out and he's going to cost him the match. Hopefully. Yeah. He's okay. Well, sorry. Solo is going to come out. I hope Jacob's okay. I saw an update from Triple H where he just said he was a little banged up. So hopefully, you know, it's nothing serious. Maybe he just rolled his ankle or something or clipped his knee or something, come it down. I don't know. But hopefully he's okay. But yeah, I think the, like I said, with the punk match that my biggest takeaway from this pay-per-view is that they've got another pay-per-view so soon. They got a pay-per-view within three weeks. So they already are locking in stuff after this pay-per-view. It's not so much, hey, tune in for Raw for this story line to continue. It's kind of like, ah, to be continued, we're probably going to have the real blow-off to this match in three weeks. When they do that because it sucks for, I mean, I see what stories you're kind of tell but like, tell this story first and then get to that. That's what writers are for. That's why all this happens. But yeah. Roman Reigns is back. The Antik Pop, um, Phil, do you, he's over, dude. He's very over. Do you, does he get that championship back? No. Yeah. I don't think you need to. I think, I think you, I think it's time to move Seth away from the bloodline. If it was me and I think that's part of the other reason that Sammy lost here because I think you're slowly going to move back to Sammy being a part of one of the War Games matches, one of the War Games teams, um, oh yeah, because they got to bring Jay and they got to bring it all back together. Yeah. But I think you should move on from Cody. I think by, oh yeah, Roman doesn't have to be champ for that. That makes sense. Yeah. I think by bad blood, Cody should be ready to move on to a new opponent. I'm assuming it's probably going to be Ray De Orton, um, in Atlanta, that seems like a fitting place for that match. No, I will put the title back on him. Okay. Yeah. That makes sense. They're going to be locked in bloodline stuff it seems from hopefully this is the way to get Cody away from it for a little bit than they're going to be fighting together, you know? Yeah. Yeah. Because it's, Cody's been locked in the whole time he's been back. Yeah. Uh, again, last call for, uh, Hopper chats and super chats, Hopper chats.com/fightful. Yes, sir. Uh, Jay Holler says they may solo stand in the ring for 10 minutes. Yeah. He was out there for a long time while I was like, I said, there was commercials, then we had to go through this long backstage part. I was like, what's going on? This is a lot. Cody watch, Walk Farrow for four straight minutes. It's like, all right, like, okay. Mm hmm. Mm hmm. Tenorza says, Phil love you, but damn a stupid, black eye with red. What is that? I think he's talking about the punk match. He didn't like the whole bracelet thing. Uh, the bracelet. Yeah. A super bracelet is probably sad. Yeah. I mean, I, I get it. He attributes, uh, his connection to home to the bracelet and, you know, when he's away from home, he could take a part of home with him. But again, it's just what WWE does, they kind of over produce the story and they over-exaggerate it. And I know that for some people, some people are just not going to like it. That's just the game. If you can't win them all, there's a lot of us to try to win. Yeah. I, I thought the match was fine, but yeah, it was a little bit over the top. Well, but, uh, Misha Sumra says Logan did nothing. You couldn't see on Rampage. Hope he goes away and we get LA Knight as fighting champion for a few months until Joe Hendry arrives. Yeah. I think the move should be down the road. LA Knight versus, uh, Andrade, cause I mean, you, you set up Andrade getting the wins over Carmelo. So he's got some built in cache, I think he should be an opponent. For LA Knight down the road. Maybe Carmelo too. Carmelo makes a license. Oh, yeah. They're building a pretty good, uh, United States division over there. So that's good. Yeah. Now that we have a champion, it's actually on TV, uh, Vova Jep Pedro says Joe Koi will be the celebrity host at war games, Southeast Asia, Hawaii with special guest commentator Aquafina. Oh, no, no, that sounds insane. Oh, no. Yeah. Yeah, uh, war games is going to be in Vancouver, correct? Mm hmm. Yeah. All that. Well, I don't want any of that. By the way. I don't want any of those celebrity guests. No, thank you. Oh, yeah. We didn't talk about this part of the show, uh, Jay Stone says, Jelly Roll took ring time from folks like Bianca and DIY and I'm so yeah, oh, I forgot about that. Jelly Roll chokes on somebody. I forgot about that. Because we got that segment in between, uh, the, the, the, the championship matches, you know, cause they have to do the tell how many people are here. Yeah. We got to get a comedy bit that's, that's been where they put Waller in theory recently a lot. Mm hmm. I didn't need this. I didn't need this at all. This was what I meant earlier when there was a bot, a bunch of filler that just wasn't for me. And I was just kind of like, bro, you could have really cut all of this and put an ace match here, combine all of these bullshit, advertise during the match. They all you want during the match, but show me a match with this time. Yeah. Sometimes I feel like that's what I enjoy more about AEW pay-per-views. Even though the AEW pay-per-views are longer, um, I, I like the way they're paced cause it's just get, get from one match to the next, the next, the pacing of the matches are consistent. So you told me all the stories to get here. Why are you still trying to tell me more stories? You know, oh, we got a friend. We got a guess SRS. The mile hike from Cleveland's Brown stadium, which by the way, the Cleveland Browns are a poverty franchise. Yes, they are. They're affordable. So I went to Ford Field last year and I thought to myself, damn, Bingles, poverty franchise, the stadium rules. No, we got it great. I went to this shit box of a concrete slab. They had us walk all the way around. Keep in mind. I'm dressed up. I'm nice. I'm wearing pants. I'm wearing a suit jacket tonight. Why? I don't know. I was trying to impress Chris Van Blee or something. Trying to, trying to get those punk lives off. All of the press stuff I saw this weekend, a punk wearing a suit, I was like, what's happened to this guy? Why are you wearing that? For somebody who hates media, he pops in on media stuff, an awful lot. He'll poke his head into the junket. Hi guys. He'll pop up at certain events. He'll pop up at the press. I'm trying to play it again. He's smart, but they had us walk all the way around the outside of the stadium. Then we get inside, and it was like Jericho and Ralphus, like Reeboll. It took about 15 to 20 minutes. You just have gone in a different door. It's like no listen to it. To the press box. It took forever. Then they finally turned to AC on. They drag us down to the floor for the main event, because then we have to go on another track. If you've ever done one of those, because it is definitely a toil for some of these. They do that WrestleMania where they take you out of the box, and then you got to go around to the spot and then wait, and then they let you into another elevator or something, and then you go into where the scrum is. They got my face on a do not let this guy in. There's no reginals list. Yeah, thank you to WWE for accommodating us. I'm sure it would have went better if it wasn't in Cleveland. So Chicago was always an option. They didn't tell you guys out before Roman came out, right? Like Phil missed punk when he was going out there, right? It's funny because I used to give Phil shit about all the stuff in Chicago, and now I've flown to Chicago like four times this year for wrestling shows. I got another one in a month. It's an easy flight. So now I'm like 48 minute flight. Yeah, just put everything in Chicago. I can handle that. I can handle that. Listen, man. We haven't had a summer slam in 30 years, man. Here we go. Here we go. He's about to be like, we haven't had a bad blood. Right. Yeah, exactly. Come on. We have not had your house. We haven't had a WrestleMania in 20 years. Give us a WrestleMania. We have not had an AEW Dynamite on June the seventh since. Come on, man. So it's three June the seventh to go. Yes. I'd be like, damn, it's been that long. I'm saying. But a fortnight. Give us one. Yeah. Was there anything good in this presser out there, SRS? It was all right. I mean, they, they, they very much wanted me to ask Triple H a question I got, basically. I, I gathered that from the thing there, but I asked about Stephanie and he said, I mean, he said a lot without saying a lot about that. As I said, does Stephanie have a role talent really likes her? Everybody that I talk to there likes her. And he said she doesn't have a role, but she's going to be around more. And the thing that he said a lot without saying is he said, sometimes it's really hard for her to love it. But right now, she really loves wrestling and I think, you know, I think that was his way of being like, or dad's a creep, you know what I mean? Yeah. Anybody else about Shane? Nobody. You know, that would have been a really good thing. That's what I thought. I thought that that was the, that was the lab. Well, he went, he, he asked or he went on like about a 20 minute, like opening. It was very, he went on a very Tony con opener. He's been doing that in all of them. Yeah. The last few months. Yeah. So he does that. He sort of gives the State of the Union. Denise asked him about TNA and he said that they are open for business, so to speak, and that they wanted their wrestlers to get opportunities that they wouldn't usually get. He said that this is, as of now, he thinks it's the last one night summer slam. But he said, you never know where we'll end up because a few years ago, we wouldn't have thought that we were ever doing tonight WrestleMania's. So you never know where business will go in that sense. Cody called his other dog, not Pharaoh, a jobber. He said, and I quote, that dog is a jobber. It's an enhancement dog. Wow. Wow. You got to be, you got to be careful because his brother just told us that, uh, jobber is a derogatory term. Yeah. What I said. And I'm like, is contracts up in September, are we starting the feud now? Here comes Cody and Pharaoh. They pull him out of retirement. Here comes Dustin with the jobber dog. That's what you're going to see. Nia and Tiffany did a few questions. They fit really well together. Like one media, you'll, they are like two P's in a pod. Like Nia's teaching her how to shop and stuff, it's, it fits really well. LA night, uh, did his thing, you know, it was LA night. He does. Yeah. Yeah. Cody did his Drew's audio. Didn't work for his, for half of his thing that he did on the thing. They did it like a post show where they switched back and forth kind of like last time, but yeah, not a whole lot. Uh, if you are in the area and you went to the show, you're probably still sitting right by the stadium unless you walked. Uh, uh, did we get any updates on Jacob? Is he okay? So that was going to be my question. Corey is hearing that it was a spot and I'm going to keep asking about that. Corey Brennan or that, but Triple H said he got a little banged up and said he'll find out a little bit more about that, but that, yeah, that kind of reads like he was selling then. Yeah. And I hope that's the case because he is so very clearly the guy. Yeah. And today was my first experience meeting Zilla Fatu and whatever they all have, he's got that too from a just meeting people and exuding something standpoint. Now I may or may not have messaged Brett Lauderdale on Thursday and said, Hey, I've got my gear. Do you need me to come by and squash Zilla Fatu? I mean, I can give you guys the exclusive. It was met with a ha, ha, ha, yeah, of course, and a picture of him and I did not reply. So, but yeah, he's, he's definitely got, he exudes that charisma, that same kind of charisma. I don't want to say the same level that Jacob Fatu does where he does him. Like if you see him in a lobby of a hotel, even if he's not a WWE guy, everybody gravitates right towards him and he's hugging everybody. He's shaking everybody's hand, but he could also rip your throat out through your asshole if he wanted to totally and will probably ask and probably has and if he hasn't one of his uncles has so I'm saying, but fellas, thank you so much for doing this post show. You guys kick ass and yeah, hopefully I didn't distract too much. Joe Bangles, first off, no, we're not doing all that. Yeah, yeah, this I'll give you guys a good example of this city. My villain origin story was finding out that my late grandmother and my mother lived in Cleveland for a couple of years. Wow. It was rock to my core, my foundation and I go visit her old home, you know, sentimental, very important to me after losing her in April. And we go and leave and we get two blocks and you know, this is a very important powerful moment for me and we're like, boy, this looks familiar. Why do we know this over here? Oh, oh yeah, that that is a vacant lot where two women were held captive in a house for ten years, Ariel Castro, that's Cleveland, that's Cleveland for you. So I say, you know what, we're going to erase this bad memory. I'm a true crime guy, but still going to erase this bad memory. I'm going to go. Wow. There you go. I'm going to go see the Christmas story house. I don't even like that movie. It sucks. It's overrated. Whoa. Hey, whoa. All right. Classic grass real black. Let's go on here. I can't even see that because what's blocking the view? A giant fucking bus with the Mrs. face on it. It says like, awesome, oh, gross, that might be that might be top five tragedies in Cleveland. Mm hmm. Right there. Two of them. I just hit. Mrs. Bus. MGK and Logan Paul. MGK. Yeah. I mean, I witnessed a bunch of them. Yeah, you did. Back to back. Look at this. Also, I realized something. I was helping my friend Jeremy Lambert find his car earlier or we went there. He was giving me a gift. And I was like, man, it smells like piss in this parking garage. And then it hit me. It's pissed. It's piss. That's what it is. It's piss. Yeah. Mm hmm. Guys. Thank you all so much. I'll see you guys later. Thanks, Sean. Thanks, Sean. Just a guy. SRS, you heard him shouting. Did you see that the picture that Sean put up, by the way? I did. Of one chick magnet punk in the warming brace of a certain McMahon. Mm hmm. Yeah. He was whispering some thing to her saying, your dad's still a bitch, but we are here. Stephanie looked real happy out there like Sean was describing like when she's out in the crowd. She looks like she's having a good time like I feel like she like just separates herself and like, I'm not Stephanie McMahon. I'm just here to be a fan, you know? Yeah. I saw someone take a picture with her before I saw the Sean tweet and I was like, oh, we're getting a business casual Stephanie. Mm hmm. Cool. She does that smile, that Karen smile. I love it. My smile is always so funny to me because it's hilarious. It looks like like her brain is sending the signals to her mouth to smile, but all of her like nerve-ending and muscles are like, no, you're going to sneer. And so it like hits this in between her doing a sneer and a smile. It's the every time she does it, I die laughing. She was like, like she's yelling through her teeth are like almost like it's like I'm telling like she's getting all the signals from her brain to smile, but she's like gridding through the whole thing like, I'm not going to really do this, but I'm doing it. I'm happy. I'm having a good time. I'm happy. Oh, man. I am happy. I am happy. Yeah. I am happy. Shout out to Steph. One of the greatest of all time. Yeah. I can't believe nobody asked about Shane. Come on, you guys. Yeah. I'm going to be one of those guys. You guys ruined your moment. Yeah. You got to ask the serious questions. Come on. I wonder, did anybody ask about MVP or Lashley? I feel like that was one of the questions. The shame when I feel like was the alley oop trying to take any other questions. What was the other one from earlier? We were like, yeah, they got to get into that. Logan. Oh, Logan. Before the show put out some what of an apology and said that he didn't, he regretted spreading misinformation. Oh, really? I didn't see that. I don't know. But maybe, but that's not the other question I could see people getting into, but I wouldn't have asked Triple H said because you weren't going to get a hand. Hang on a minute. He hasn't read it. Van Twin Blade says, since we're talking about Logan Paul, y'all seen Fargo? Logan Paul should be Fargo. I don't know what that means. Yeah. I've never seen you for a go. Van Twin Blade really does not like Logan. You don't like him. Oh, here he goes again. True, when the boy says, True Sean F. Christmas story, you guys can't be slender in Christmas story. That's classic Christmas. Classic Christmas. I love Christmas story. You guys like, are you a big Christmas guy? I feel like, not really. Yeah, no. I went through a phase for a while where, like, I was doing, like, I'm not doing that. I'm not getting Christmas presents type of thing, you know? Yeah. I went through a phase where I was super excited for Christmas every year. And then, oh, the older I know, the guy was like, Christmas, you got to do all this stuff for it. Like, it's too much. Got to drive, got to travel, got to spend money, like, I don't want to do all that. Yeah. And then people that have holiday gifts, it's really a holiday for kids, in my opinion. Totally. Yeah. Totally. They should have this. If you're, like, you're not a parent, I feel like the older know that you get, the less and less you get kind of enthused about it. But I know some people that just absolutely love Christmas. Or what about those freaks that love Halloween? I can't wait for one more. I have friends that love Halloween. They go crazy about it, huh? They do all the decorating, like, they have, like, the scary movie marathons and everything. Yeah. I remember. Halloween. I was, well, Halloween, it's spooky. Shut up. Rude Mullen says, Damien and Rhea are going to destroy after roster tomorrow. Yeah. Or Monday. Because Damien was already ready to get into it when he came in that locker room like, where is he? Find him. Should have been the writing on the wall, Damien and Rhea. Yeah. He came in there yelling, I think Finn knew then, like, look, I'm sick of this dude. He's going to stop ordering me around. I didn't, I did not go and get me a lackey so that I can get yelled at, like, I was like, I'm saying, no, Finn feels like every time he comes in yelling, Finn's like, I can't, is this, is he yelling again? This guy here yelling at me again, like, I'm his lackey. Listen, I didn't go get this box headed guy to be my lackey. So I had to listen to this, like, leave me alone. I think I got my own bobblehead for nothing. Nah, dog. I got him for a reason. Like, I'm the big dog around here. And all the, I mean, that's the story. It's like, if that's Finn Valor, he ain't nobody's. Little, little, little, bro. Come on, dog. He'd been, yeah, he'd been tired of this guy. Mm-hmm. And then Jay Holler says, that was my N64 game space, Phil. Yeah, that makes sense. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. That's all of them. Y'all are dope. Thanks for sticking around with this late. It's not late here in California, but I'm sure it's late for somebody somewhere else. Yeah. I believe that's all of our super jets. Mm-hmm. Yeah, that's definitely all of our hopper chats. Yep.
