9. Why I moved Abroad and Left America

Broadcast on:
29 Sep 2020

Why did I leave America? And why do I not want to go back? The short answer is: I just don't want to. The long answer is revealed and explained in this very personal episode! Today I am sharing my reasons for leaving America to live, work, and enjoy life abroad, why I am so happy with this decision, and why I’ll probably never move back.

Not only has living abroad helped me understand different ways of living and thinking, but it’s allowed me to craft the life I truly want to live. Every day I get to surround myself with different parts of the world, consume new perspectives, and become more of a global citizen. Now, the world is my oyster - and maybe my story will inspire you to make the world your oyster, too!

Tune in to this episode to learn all the reasons I left America (the good, the bad, and the ugly) and why the challenges of living abroad are 100% worth it.

In this episode, we cover…

The nine biggest reasons I moved (and stayed) abroad

Why choosing your own lifestyle is so rewarding

Unveiling the reasons why I don’t align with certain aspects of the American culture

How living abroad has helped me achieve practical and emotional freedom

“What building your own business and creating a freedom lifestyle is all about is figuring out how you want your life to be, the different ways that you want to live your life and what you want to be surrounded by. Because your environment really does have such a huge impact on you.” - Amanda Kolbye
