Join me, Jason LaChance host of the Knockin' Doorz Down podcast, certified addiction recovery coach, and mental health advocate for my sit down with special guest Josh Datant musical artist, producer, lyricist, and music video director. Josh is dedicated to drug recovery through the use of conventional therapy and music. He utilizes various methods and tools he picked up along the way of his own recovery journey and has a fierce passion for those struggling with mental illness and addiction.
I talked with Josh about the depths of his addiction, which included fentanyl, that almost took his life and did take his brothers' life. Josh opens up about the aftermath of losing his brother and struggling to maintain his sobriety and reconnect with his wife and children. Josh once had a thriving music career and in his recovery rededicated himself to his passion for music. He now uses music to not only maintain his sobriety but make his living and be of service to others through his talents.
We finish our conversation with fun random questions and Josh finishes with final thoughts. This is Josh Datant Knockin’ Doorz Down.
