Your Faith Is Working
(air whooshing) - Hi, I'm a parcel, Dr. Caroline Cooper, from the Anita's for Christ Family Center, Freeport, Granda Hammer by Hammers. And behalf of myself and her husband, Bishop Pifton Cooper, we want to extend to you a warm welcome to the Miracle Service of Pastor Sean Pendants Ministry and his wife, Pastor Amy. Refresh them. Let a freshness of the Holy Spirit come upon them. Stir their hearts, O God. Draw them closer to you. Let them see Jesus in the scriptures. Let them fall in love with Jesus. Strengthen their relationship with Jesus. Answer their prayer. Answer the cry of their heart. Lord, you said in your word, if we delight ourselves in the Lord, He will give us the desires of our hearts. Give us our hearts desire. Give us a miracle. Give us a breakthrough. Turn things around in our lives. On this morning, as we continue our series, you are never alone. Your faith is working. That's what we're gonna talk about this morning. Your faith is working. Now, Hebrews chapter 11 verse one says, faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not saying. Therefore, by it, the elders obtain a good report. So when you lock your faith, in step with God, to believe him, to do something for you and answer your prayer, you might not receive an immediate answer. And this is where people get discouraged. Because there used to be a teaching that says, if you ask God more than once, it's unbelief. Well, that's not true. Jesus prayed more than once for a man who was blind, he laid hands on him. And he said, what do you see, the man said, I see men as trees. Jesus said, lay hands on him again. He had to lay hands on him again, pray for him a second time. If Jesus had to pray more than once, that ends up, ends that teaching, amen? What about the woman in Luke chapter 18? She was persistent. She went to the unjust judge and he did not even, he didn't even study out first. But then he said, I better answer this woman's request. Last by her continual coming, she's gonna wear me out. So Jesus said, did you hear what the unjust judge said? And shall not God, avenge his own elect which cried day and night to him? So he was showing us, he said, when the son of man comes, will he find faith on the earth? So Jesus said, faith is determination, persistence, that ability to hang in there, not take no for an answer, not give up, you gotta ask and keep on asking, seek and keep on seeking, knock and keep on knocking. Matthew seven, eight says, for everyone that asks you to receive it, he will seek flying into the person who knocks, the door shall be open. So you gotta be aggressive, you gotta be persistent. That I'm here to tell someone, your faith is working. We will see it in the scripture, Matthew 15, verse 21 through 28. Then Jesus went, thence and departed into the coast of Tyre and Sidon, and behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coast and cried unto him saying, have mercy on me, O Lord. Thou son of David, my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil, demons are absolutely real. People can do things to open doors to the demonic, to Sidon. And when the devil comes in, he takes over and he begins to ravage a person's life and destroy it. And that person begins to do things that's out of character for a human being to do. Are you listening to me? Her daughter was vexed, demon possessed, lost complete control of herself. I don't know what she did, but for some reason there was a door open, and demons entered into her and begin to ravage her life. And once that takes place, that mom had no peace, that mom had no contentment, there was no peace in that home, and she decided, I may be a gentile, but I'm gonna reach out to Jesus. That's the best decision she could have made in her entire life, and I'll watch this. And she cried and said, "O Lord, thou son of David." She even recognized him as the Messiah. My daughter's grievously vexed with a devil. Listen to the verse 23, "But he answered her not a word." He didn't even respond to her requests. Wow, man, some of you would have been so mad at your pastor if he didn't answer or respond. You're gonna crucify him. Come on, he didn't even respond. But it didn't mean that he didn't hear a request. It didn't mean that he didn't take us serious. It didn't mean that he didn't intend to do something about it, and sometimes when we don't see our prayers, prayers answered immediately, we get discouraged and all uptight and wanna get mad at God. Don't get mad at God, do what this woman did, and his disciples didn't help the situation, because his disciples came and besought him, sent, sent away from us. She's crying after us. She's getting on our nerves. Can you get out of here, Lord? First Jesus didn't answer. And then church people getting on their nerves. Ha ha, have you been there? Oh, I had a couple of apples out of that bag. Where you pray and it just seems like nothing's happened. Nothing's happening. They win a storm and Jesus is fast asleep. Do you feel like he's fast asleep on your prayer? Do you feel like he's ignoring you? Hanging their saints, you in a good place. This is where you get to put your faith to work. Glory to God. But he answered, and then he said unto her, I am not sent. But unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. In other words, it ain't your time yet. Gentiles, let me take care of the Jews first. Wow, I mean, this woman is just running into her, running the road block after road block. She got ignored, and then the disciples didn't help. They said, get this woman away from us, Lord. She's crazy. And then when Jesus did answer, he said, it ain't your time yet. That this woman said, well, something's gonna change today. Ha ha ha, have you ever been there? Where you got so desperate use, you were like God, I don't care what's going on, something got to give. Something has to change today. Glory to God. I dare someone lift your hands to heaven and say something has to change. I refuse to take no for an answer. I ain't going back to this mess. I can't go back to this. My house ravaged the devils that took, the demons that took over my daughter. I can't live another day like this. This woman refused to take no for an answer. Then came she and worship him, saying, Lord help me. Boy, have you heard no that much? Some of you'd have been so mad, you'd have been then. Walk out and slam the door shut behind you. But this woman realized he is what I heard about him. He's too loving, too compassionate, too caring. There's no way he can refuse my prayer. I refuse to take no for an answer. It didn't seem like she was getting any closer to an answer. But she came and worship him, saying, Lord help me. Then he answered and said, it is not fitting for me to take the children's bread and the cats and the dogs. Gentiles was called the dogs. Yes, I'm a dog, Lord. Boy, if someone talked to you like that, boy, I mean, some of you'd have called into a fist fight. Come on, somebody. And she said, truth, Lord. But I got one better than that, Jesus. Yet the dogs eat the crumbs, which fall from their master's table. She kept calling them, Lord, she kept calling them master. She said, yes, I'm a dog, Lord, and I'm willing to take the crumbs. 'Cause if there's healing in the loaf, there's healing in the crumb. If there's sugar in the loaf, there's sugar in the crumbs. Come on, somebody. Lord, help me, Jesus. If there's sweetness in the loaf, there's sweetness in the crumb. If there's deliverance in the loaf, there's deliverance in the crumb. All I need is a crumb. I got 'em, all I need is. You preach to Jesus, all I need is fake the size of a mustard seed, and nothing shall be impossible. This woman is so determined, your faith is working. I'm talking to somebody. You've been praying, you've been fasting, you've been crying out to God, and nothing's changed. And here you are, still pressing it, still asking, still seeking, still knocking. I got good news for you. Your faith is working. ♪ Even when I don't see it, it's working ♪ ♪ Even when I don't feel it, it's working ♪ ♪ You never stop, you never stop working ♪ ♪ You never stop, 'cause even when I don't see it ♪ ♪ It's even when I don't see it, you work it ♪ ♪ Even when I don't feel it, it's working ♪ ♪ You never stop, even when I don't see it ♪ ♪ Even when I don't see it, it's working ♪ ♪ Even when I don't feel it, it's working ♪ ♪ You never stop, you never stop working ♪ ♪ You never stop, listen ♪ ♪ Your faith is working ♪ ♪ Your faith ♪ ♪ Your faith is about to be rewarded ♪ Watch this. ♪ Then Jesus answered and said unto her ♪ ♪ Oh woman, great is your faith ♪ ♪ Is your faith ♪ Did you hear that? A person who does not take no for an answer and keeps on coming back. And keeps on coming back. Jesus said, that's a person that has great faith. You have great faith. You ought to be shouting right now 'cause the devil been trying to tell you all that nothing's changing because you don't have no faith. You full of doubt, none of the devil is a liar. The mere fact that nothing's changing and you're still coming back. That's proof you got faith. The Bible says without faith. Hebrews 11, six, without faith, it's impossible to please God because whoever comes to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. It's the person who refused to give up. He refused to quit like this woman. Jesus answered and said unto her, oh woman, great is that faith. Be it under thee even as thou will. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour. In another place, Jesus said, go your way. The devil is gone from out of your daughter. You have great faith. That's why you keep coming back. That's why you keep coming back. That's why you keep coming back because you have great faith working in you. Your faith is working. I dare someone to say it's working. It's working. Even when I don't see it, come on. 'Cause even when I don't see it, you work it. Even when I don't feel it, you work it. You never stop, you never stop, work it. You never stop. Even when I don't see it, come on. 'Cause even when I don't see it, you work it. Thank you, Jesus. Father God, me and Pastor Amy join our faith that we bless your people. We bless them, Lord. Thank you for strengthening them. Thank you for encouraging them. Thank you for letting them know. That ability to keep on asking and seeking and knocking without seeing any results is proof that they have great faith. And their faith is working. That answer is about to happen. The answer is about to come. That answer is about to be released. Their desires are about to be granted in the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Somebody say, amen.
