NBC News Radio. I'm Scott Carr. Florida residents are getting ready for storm force winds and coastal flooding is tropical storm. Debbie comes barreling toward the coast. The storms now about 150 miles off the coast of Tampa headed north toward the Florida panhandle where it's expected to make landfall tomorrow morning as a Category 1 hurricane. The National Hurricane Center warns of storm surge and flooding along Florida's west coast. Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris will be interviewing three candidates today to be her running mate. The vice president scheduled to meet with Senator Mark Kelly of Arizona and governors Tim Walts of Minnesota and Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania. Harris is expected to announce her VP pick Tuesday. Team USA gymnast Suni Lee now has three medals from the Paris Olympics after winning the bronze in Sunday's uneven bars final. Lee took home the bronze and last week's women's individual all around final and gold in the team all around final. Scott Carr NBC News Radio.
