My dad works in B2B marketing. He came by my school for career day and said he was a big row as man. Then he told everyone how much he loved calculating his return on ad spend. My friends still laughing at me to this day. Not everyone gets B2B, but with LinkedIn, you'll be able to reach people who do. Get $100 credit on your next ad campaign. Good morning folks and welcome to the Get Enfused Daily News for Tuesday, the 6th of August, 2024. My name's Colin. I hope you're all having a nice morning. It's much nicer than it was yesterday. It's torrential when myself and Jack were talking, but the sun has its heart on. And hopefully that's a start of a good day for our rangers as we get up to watch the team play. They know we can have a Poland tonight. So just a quick update there. It was announced yesterday that game will be live and play me a sports one. And it'll be a 7pm kickoff, so I know it was quite last minute where we were all scrambling to walk away as we'll be able to watch this game. So premiere sports at 7pm tonight. And the first news I've come to you is what happens if rangers get through. So if rangers were to get through past Dynamo Kiev, they will play the winners of Salzburg or FC20 and they'll play off-round. So that, those factors will be played. The first five will be either 20 or the 21st of August. Hopefully it's the 20th as my fiancé's birthday in the 21st. And the same leg will be in the 27th or the 28th. So the home leg will be, say, the hand and leg will be the 20th or the 21st. And their way will be the latter. So I still get to ahead ourselves. We've still got a very, very difficult picture ahead of us tonight and next week. But with the games we've had in recent years and recent years, this would have been a favourable day. We, all these times, we would have been waiting at it and saying, "No, well, we fancy ourselves to go through." The low decent teams, but the way rangers performed in Europe, the last few years, this would have been a great draw for us. And it's amazing how, like, we're trying to change with this current score than how we're feeling about it. We're probably not feeling that great. Probably more than being more key here, more than anything. But it's funny, SC20, you just know if we get through, and SC20, you get through it. Sam Lamos has got a pop-up where we'll go and we'll all go on it. Have to put up with them. We should have given a chance for good. But, listen, let's not get in my head of ourselves. We have a game tonight to do with first. And Phillip Claremont was speaking to the players ahead of that. First of all, it was asked around Oscar Cortez. He said Oscar Cortez did not travel. He will be out for around 45 weeks after the scan. It was really unlucky with a twisting knee, and it was an unlucky injury for a former religion. It will be an important player for us in the future for this club. It is a role, but it's part of it both for every club. We need to focus on a fast rehab. A qualitative rehab is better than last season. So, we know he will come back even better. So, I'll be honest, I thought this was rugby a season end up for Cortez. Just with the way they went down, and he's just came back from injury. Yeah, and it's just a Rangers walk, isn't it? It's a Rangers way, but five weeks that it's not ideal, but he'll be back for September, and, you know, potential will be back through with it after then, and I ask my break. So, he's going to be here for the majority of the season, and fitting available, which is, you know, probably best-case scenario, what we can hope for. It's interesting what I'm saying about the quality and the rehab is better than last season. So, I wonder if they are doing some different behind the scenes, and trying to focus on players going back, in fact, quicker, but I do hope that we're working at prevention as well as a career, because we need to stop players going so easily picking up where all niggles and knocks, which is just rolling them out for a period of time. And so, then, we have not seen that with Cortez. I am doing this as a more serious injury. Twister knee when you're falling. But, you know, time and time again, how many players do to pack up the small knock from nothing, and we've always seen them for weeks. For months, it was asked about the draw, yesterday, and the title, and he says, "We have four really important games to qualify, but all our focus is on the first leg to model." We need to be at the top level and the four games to qualify, and I believe we have all the qualities to do that. It's about taking a moment mentally, we are ready. It's about believing in your qualities and working hard, working on the structure to have a career so we can play with and without the ball. Interesting comment about without the ball. I've been to my powers about this as well, but who do we start tonight? And I do wonder if we'll maybe see here in the room, or some, you know, someone would get ahead of Tom Morris, just because, you know, I think, on the ball, Tom Morris is a bit off the ball, but off the ball, you know, here in the room, we run. Tom Morris, we know he has limited mobility, and we do have limited options, so I think I would be maybe one of the very few changes that we see tonight. Come on, Conde, we will do everything to reach the champions, which, of course, the Europa League is a strong level, too, but everyone wants to reach the champions, as if it gets staged in the world. These are different games from other games with a lot of the ball. Dynamo are very strong at holding the ball and making combinations, and so definitely they will play, so it's an interesting challenge for the players. He spoke about Robin Trapper, he said Robin Trapper is fat, but he's had about a few days off the pitch. He's had to sort of survive and stroll into his family, so he doesn't specifically say whether that's an indication if he'll be out or not, or available to not, or not for tonight. I would love Robin, and probably be available for tonight, but Rayon Barrigan was a player in the press conference yesterday, and I don't know, it's not a guarantee that the players in the press conference will always start, but more often than not, they are going to be a contender for the first of all, and the show, at least. I think we're going to say that instead of there's a few days off the pitch, he's maybe indicating that he's not been able to train, so he may not play tonight. I can understand if a player's not trained, and then, you know, we obviously have a game plan instead of a play that we want to try and implement, if he's not done that, then, yes, he'll be a talented football player, but I would put him under unnecessary pressure, and it's the safer way to go with Rayon Barrigan, and Johnson, for example, we know Rayon Barrigan is dependable, and Johnson does tend to play better with an experience head that we didn't have, so I would like to rob him to operate in, but if it's not the case, nothing bad again and so on, which we just have to do. We on Barrigan, speaking to the press, he said, everybody's determined to put in our performance tomorrow, we want to step up and rise to the occasion. The champions are just all the motivation that you need, we know we're up against a good side who had a very strong performance in the previous round. People can speak about finances, but I've never played in the champions with before, and it's a massive personal motivator for me, all this world wants to play at this level. So, I think, again, just to echo what I mentioned earlier, Rayon Barrigan, I think he'll be in against our alongside Ray Johnson overnight, and I think that Rayon Barrigan will give a bit of comfort to the whole defense as well, no church joins up because he's, we seem inside of it, we need that back on, we just need that back. Someone who can just take a step back, organize the back line and say, "Right, okay, let's just do the basics and do the basics, where we can get ourselves in a game." And Rayon Barrigan is very, very good at doing that, so I'm expecting him to play there tonight and rob him to operate on Saturday at Hamden. The manager was asked about Janice Hage, who played for the B team yesterday, and I woke up on a B team game. And he's asked if Hage is returning to be in the plans. And he said, "No, we had queer talks before the pre-season with his agents about that. We need to work, like I said, at a lot of things at the club about wages, how many you can have in a position with the budget, and we have to get the budget to get transfers." So it was really clear towards him that the idea was to sell him. That is what we wanted also, so that is the queer situation. So in summary, Janice Hage wants to go. Philip Cromon wants to move him on. Rangers want to sell him, so this is just a matter of time. So he was back and training, and he was going for the B team yesterday to get minutes in his legs. So I'm quite disappointed that Janice Hage will be moving on. I'll be honest, I think it would be a better option in Tom Rowlands, personally, while I do concede that Janice Hage probably isn't the most mobile item. We do need a lot of athleticism. I would have Hage and over Rowlands, personally. But if Cromon doesn't advance him, he doesn't advance him. That's fair enough. We need to trust and manage on these decisions. He'll have an idea of what he wants his work to look like, and we're only seeing half of the jokes already. No, he'll have the full picture in his head, what he started about. So some of these decisions may become clearer if we get the target son. What I'm a bit concerned about with Janice Hage and Todd Camwell, as we've now openly said to the world that two of our most sellable assets are being hunted out the door. Thought for one day a bit of race, I know they're not being asked to net it out there, but we said that we don't want them. So that, there's a lot of interest in the continent for Janice Hage. I don't know how much interest there is in Todd Camwell. That's hard way going to drive up the price for crops wanting to buy them. It was like some animals as well. When you openly say that we don't rate, that's where we don't want them. We need them off the books. Why should crops pay over the odds for someone that you don't want? And it does put us in a bit of a tricky situation. Again, I think these players are in high wages, and that'll be huge for rangers getting high wages off the books. But at the same time, you do want a transfer fee, particularly when, again, these players still have their best days ahead and particularly Janice Hage. So I do think it's strange how open we are about that. The flip side of that argument is if, you know, players don't want to be here, why should you have them training with the first team and they're working with the standard of training, because if they don't want to be here, they're very risky. They're not going to apply themselves properly. And does that end off the trainations and the overall quality of the short day and day out? I think there's an argument there too. So it's not an ideal situation, regardless. I don't think there's any best way to manage it, but I think this is impacting the way we are managing it, just a potential war transfer fee. So on that, Rangers beat team game, though they were up against Madosba yesterday and it was quite a back and forth game. Four goals to three, Rangers ended up winning. And they went to a fair way away on. Madosba got one back, Rangers went three one up, Madosba brought it back to three each, and Rangers eventually got our winner away on. So the Rangers rose game from the final cutters on the scrolling. Josh Jennings wrote the second. The final cutters then added a second to get the third goal, and Alex Waurich wrote the penalty in the dying minutes of the game to win it. So what in goals for Rangers was Alfie Harwell with a back four of Adam Devine, Christian Webster, Quentin Nesire, and Xander Hutton. We had the midfield free of Barry Rice, Paul Nesore, and Nianna Saje. Nianna Saje played for 45 minutes, and the front three of the final cutters, Alex Waurich and Josh Jennings. So the subject came on, robots and came on from Nesore, Adam sent him on for Nianna Saje, and Kevin Bonside and Eddie replaced Curtis and Jennings. So Nianna Saje, no, no Todd Janwell. Wonder what he's up to. Maybe we'll hopefully be on the move, and hopefully he's speaking to other other crops. And that's why he wasn't playing and getting minutes in his legs. Nianna Saje had them Devine back in with the B team. Now, I thought he might have been one of the options for the European squad, and he played the Nianna Saje yesterday. And I had the boys in the round few speaking about this, as well, Christian Webster. Yes, he has Andy Webster's son, and he's looking a bit more able-bodied than his dad. He's telling a quite a unit of a player, and he was wearing a captain's arm man yesterday. But now I thought I was worth mentioning, because a few people were asking about it. So, yeah, good result for the B team. Again, that's his only friend. There was only so much he'd get out of these trainees. And they're getting into a mitten SPFL Trust Trophy here and now. SPFL Trust Trophy game, sorry. We do really get these boys playing some sort of competitive football. So, that will do me for today, folks. My short update just riding solo, but myself, Devine and Jack, will be back tomorrow, I believe, giving you some reaction of what ever happens against Kiev tonight. So, just to echo my predictions for the game tonight, I said this on the Sunday Night live stream. I'm going to go one inch. I think we will see. But for Devine Rangers, hopefully, we need to do... No, no, Devine Rangers. I definitely stay up where he will need to be better off the ball. We need to be a bit more disciplined and get a bit more be a bit more pleasant. So, I'm hoping that whether it's a wee unbounding coming in, that would be so short, right in the tournament. Coming in and focusing on the off the ball game means that they will need to focus too much on the creation. They will be on the break. I think that will hopefully suit us. We'll go one each and then we'll take them back to hand in the end. It's an open game. So, until tomorrow, the modern folks have a crack in Tuesday and I hope your team wins tonight. Take care.
