and the Jeff you're a little quiet in the zoom mix just a bit just a little just a teensy bit yeah I know sounds good perfect okay I'm using my big radio voice and for radio. I am we've been getting some comments on some very old footage and a different. show and I just I was trying to reply to these comments and I hit play and the the rant the ramble the boom boom boom boom boom boom that I used to pull off before I got older and tired and worked late it was just like I remember when I used to have Fridays off work so excited to game like all day and I do my prep and then you guys come on I was like hey how's it going yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah you know and now it's like I just like ran Cheryl back from the dentist did a mic check and then ran back out and all this stuff. But without further do because we are running late and we're gonna have to do some short quick action. like a nerdy. Let's go. still have to run logos is important and welcome to another gripping episode. Messina too soon no. Ouch. We'll see how the dice are today. It's been 10 days from the upload for us it's been a week it's been seven but for you from the last episode drop on it. 5th 15th or 25th of whatever months this may come out it's been 10 days for you and I've got good news and bad news going right back into the action getting that battle board back up and running. When last we left a hero's elperics stone chucker was getting sneak stabbed and he turns around and he did do you remember what you did. I think I healed myself right right all the trouble I went to the talking Joe Davis into like getting off work early and coming here early because we lost gifts and terror temporarily the joke the fun that we had Joe Gibson playing a cleric champion of CC and now I have Joe Davis playing a champion cleric of CC and all the trouble I went to and he couldn't make it last week and I'm like oh shit I better go light on these guys and I went heavy thank God the dice didn't favor Messina and he gets he gets hurt real bad and what does he do oh I have healing poof done I'm fine no it didn't it didn't do much no no there was not I'm fine it's I stopped the persistent bleed damage and gave myself more like it hurts it wasn't it wasn't a oh hey hey it was not a haha my how the tables of turn moment I'm still hurt and there's still a dude in front of me that is scaring me right now. Basically just kind of propped up a book under the leg instead of the table turning itself exactly exactly okay so much as I got is more like a. Yeah yeah instead of the lay on hands where he's going it's more like. That's exactly it. All right where did the road touch you here. He's in three and it is round three what a coincidence it is now time for the human sailors. There are two taking the odd pot shot at you guys you would garner their attention the gun wheels aside the ship I said before the pier is five feet off the water the ship has very tall gun wheels 15 feet off the pier very wide and long gangplank connecting and these guys are peeking over two of them archers and yet suddenly another six sailors all appear along that gun well not their arms but they don't start taking pot shots at you they just start jeering and placing bets and cat calling you guys completely confident in the blood bores ability to take any action against you. I mean they're like you call that a sea snake that's a sea serpent will go out to sea lad I'll show you something bigger the ship what is this wee little snake you got there oh look at that he's always playing with them. So look at the background guy from Street Fighter. Yes yes. Ryan for the podcasting audience Ryan's doing the two fists raised one slightly higher than the other and he's just kind of doing the gift up and down like yes. They even turn to get all their fellow archers and stop them from wasting arrows they're not paid to defend the town or the camera but defend the ship. So much to your relief possibly the sailors muck around a bit they stop firing at you guys. Now the sneaky human she on her crate flips over does the helicopter breakdant spin flips around you know gets her feet under her gets up but only into a crouch but she's you know no longer on belly kind of thing. And with the surprise attack missed the sneak attack in place because she jumped out from hiddenness undetectedness and getting full on 35 points of damage was inflicted on this last. She is not liking you one bit mr stone chucker so she presses her advantage and the attack and giving her a plus one for higher ground. Oh by the way fancy grounds update drew told me this a long time ago and I wish I'd remember Ryan specifically and myself specifically are going Oh second attack. Where's the little modifier window type in negative four negative five okay click same attack. I don't know what you guys but on the very top of my combat tracker. There are two tabs ma number two and ma number three and I thought they were maps but they actually stand for next attack penalty. Oh so if you like highlight that one on your next one it automatically puts in the modifier. Yes now for you guys you'll have your next attack on your sheet because they go two four six right you just hit the next window but for me I don't have that. So a little fun fact for you jams out there. Oh that might work for the skill stuff. Yeah for applying the modifier on the skill stuff. Or if you're doing doing like a spell attack later on or something like that. Now you get most of you guys like I said have that in your sheet ability tracks it. But for me being crouched above you on these crates I'm going to give her a plus one hit. It's only fair I would do it to you and she stabs at the with thine rapier at a 31 and. Oh it hits Mr. Stonechucker with one D6 plus five piercing she gets in her precise deadly disarmy. I don't know why. Why would I? You wouldn't. Because I create 31 did I create? Nope. Huh. Deadly. Is it because I rolled high? I'm just wondering why I'm looking at two extra purple dice here. I didn't click any sneak attack or anything. What's her rapier? It's one D6 plus five piercing. Isn't it strictly one D? Does it striking on it? I don't think so. Even then that would only increase it by like one die. We have no one die. Now she does have the little beak and we're going to get into the whole here's an extra D4 for you. And once again we start bleed damage every round of D4. So you actually take 13 not 11 if you want to adjust that for me Al. And then by pressing my magical button MA2 and then hitting the dagger instead of a plus 16. I get a plus 12 to hit. Gets a 30 gets hit with the dagger. She does the old one two or should say one two poke and damage with my dagger. D4 plus four plus six. Again, I'm. Is it adding your precision damage? Yeah. Is it treating it like you're sneak attacking me every time? Yes, but I'm wondering if there is. Oh, are you off guard? That's why. I think I have Al marked his off guard. So they're just right. She's just raking you. Oh, no, you're not off guard. This is very interesting. I trust fantasy grounds suck it up. No, I'm trying to figure out why. There's got to be some ability here that I'm missing deny advantage. Not flat footed mobility. I can totally take half stride actions against Miro. So not suffer his close hanger effect because I have mobility nimble dodge gives me AC bonuses. I have a sneak attack, but you have to be flat footed, which currently it says you are not. Oh, all right. Shit. I hate being fine. Just keep rolling rolling with it. Not dead yet. So that's four, eight, nine. Give yourself nine back. I'd rather underwhelm you than overwhelm like, you know what I mean? I'd rather have an ability that I forgot to use and go, Oh, well, you as opposed to accidentally roll extra dice and kill you out, right? So please give yourself nine hit points back. Okay, I'll take it. Um, and I will also curse quite loudly as I'm being stabbed multiple times. Please take note. You are now about to take persistent damage on your next turn. Right. And we move on to the next. The sailors all jeering the archers stop shooting and they're having a good time placing bets on you. And now jutting across the plains to a short time ago. Frasier, nil shadow. You're very ill. You're in a consciousness. Your head finally clears. You look around your alone. Makes sense. You know, these strangers don't know you. They found you. They were nice. Who cares? I took 10 minutes to build a little cubby for you so that you weren't just exposed. And you do this. And you do notice that these strangers suddenly did do something very, very kind. By building you a lean to, as Matt said. They left you sheltered. Yeah. They took your gold as expected. And they laid me on my stomach. You guys. You didn't want me to choke on my own. You know what? That's like a caden hug. Yeah, it is. We were well trained by our previous companions. You guys. Yeah, he's so happy and the camera fades out and he's got those, like, black marker twerly mustaches and shit all over his face. He hasn't figured it out yet. They don't bring mirrors. That's right. Took your mirror, but not your money. I wonder why. No, they haven't taken your stuff. Whatever cash, whatever weapons you had, you know, they may have removed your cloak and turned it into a pillow for you. But then that you're in good shape. It's okay. You've lost time. You're not sure how long it's been. Occupational. You do feel much better. You're heading your stomach clear from the transgression of the magic and the alcohol. And right as rain, picking yourself up, dust yourself off. What do you want to do? I'm going to break up my flask and have a little sip because I am deeply afraid that the systemic shock of an actual, like, hangover slash, like, being sober might literally kill me. And then I'm going to look around randomly pick a direction because I am not a survivalist and start walking. Okay. Well, perhaps towards the light, there is a town burning not far away. Oh, well, seeing that. Yes. And it's not going to be a casual walk at this point. I'm going to take a second swig and start jogging. Okay. Back to you soon. People that are on the map. All around. Four. Both. Number one. The furthest away. I believe you did something maybe that pushed him back. I'm not sure, but I will take a step, not a stride, not provoking. I think half these dudes might be missing actions from critical misses. I know we were covering that last time. Like last round, we came around because I'm on a new round now. They were at the top of the round and they were like triggering. So I know, I know two of them are shallow. I don't know if I've addressed them. So tell you what, Matt, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. I'll penalize two of them. Yay. Just just to be, which I think you're right anyway. So what can I say besides GIRR and ARC? And continuing to sink our tusks and try to chew up this snake. Twenty-eight with a hit. Two to eight plus eight piercing damage. As this thing just starts ripping and chewing into you. And it's not number one, but it was two and three. So this guy actually will take a second after taking a step and misses you. And that is ball number one. Muros, before ball two and three act, it is your turn. What do you wish to do? Blurry of bites. On whom? On board two. Two? Okay. Let me just change your target for you here. Thank you, sir. Second. Something's wrong here. Okay. Now that me. All right. Large snake nibbles. Go. Thirteen to hit. Which is a thirty-four. Which is a critical. It's dumb, no. You may have a name, but I do not. Oh, look at that game, guys. Thirty-nine points of damage. He says it like kung-fu, authentic battle damage. Yeah. I guess excitedly. This thing, well, what can I say? Squeeze like a pig in pain. And is absolutely furious, but does not go down. Not yet. All right. My second bite of blurry. Hey, did you look at your venom? Yeah, it's just like a type damage. Okay. It's like fire-cold. There is no save. It's just like an additional effect. Like 1d6 fire damage. 1d6 ice damage. It's the same thing. It's just got its own category. Because there's two types of poison. There's the poison affliction. And then there is poison damage. So if you look up poison, like straight up poison itself, it tells you that there's two different things for it. That's why it doesn't go into detail on his sheet. There's one player who's trying to snow me. I wouldn't believe it. But since two are, I will just blindly believe, because we're kind of short on Rouslayers. Okay. Sounds good to me. But shame. Shame on you if you're a misleading or cheating at these plays. Or soothe. No. In the new core. Or is this actually at a legacy? Poison damage can be a type. It's not tagged as legacy on Nethys. So it's just poison. Never heard of poison didn't it exactly have like, I get to get the bite damage and you automatically do the venom damage. But there's usually some kind of save for like half damage. Yeah. But there's no like ad effect. It doesn't go off your condition. There's not an onset. There's no reoccurring damage from it. Yep. It's just poison damage. Poison damage. Venom's toxin and the light can deal poison damage. And since it's a one off, you don't know, no for it saves because there's no onset. There's no reoccurring. That's probably the balance there. And the other poisons are far faster than just adding a D six. I did ask. I did ask you guys to look into it as opposed to my busy self. So sure. Okay. But I do have my reserve lawyers. Look at them. Check in that Davis. You cook her. Drew. I think it would be. I think it's the idea to that anything that would be immune to poison would also just be immune to poison damage. Yes. So contract wouldn't be contract wouldn't be able to take that extra damage. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. There's poison damage and then there's poison affliction. So this is just because there's a monk stance to what you can use. It's like the corporate thing and you do poison damage with the monk attack. It just kind of use access to your second of the flurry. Sorry to interrupt. No worries. Oh, there's my five. I missed you. Twenty two. That's a miss. So that was the second of my flurry. So I shall carry on with his his fight. So my second action. I go for an attack. There's my five again. Hi, buddy. That's a five last week. We're ruling fours completely. I know it's total improvement because he started with a 13. So we're 20 chance could be any number of the dice. Gwen said he's fully. Should be another number. Should be another number by the end of the book. Don't worry. I'll go to sure. So my second. I mean if you keep trending like this, eventually you're going to have a couple sessions where you're rolling nothing but 18s and then a couple sessions and nothing but 19s. Couple sessions and nothing but 20s. We can only hope that's how this is going to work out for me. Long run. Hashtag mirrors hash tag will all get there together by season five. Okay. All right. Last attack. Just picking on some of that. Oh, a 13 again. That's a 26. That's a hit. I've arranged to Ryan this past six months because he's been working his ass off. He moved his life. His wife. His kids. His job. And he's been showing up tired, but God bless him. He's been showing up. But now he has new equipment. He's wide awake. It's open season, baby. I'm going to pick on you again. That's okay. I don't think I feel like you've never stopped. 23 points of damage. Oh, there we go. There we go. I'm a number number. Oh, his eyes turn blood ready. So pissed at you. When I closed, you know, you see the veins throbbing with venom and stuff, but he's still in your face. Anything else? Was that three? Nope. That was my flurry. Yeah, it was four attacks. I are done. Number two, the one you've been beating the crap of, the one that currently has 97 wounds and is still standing. Let's out a terrifying squeal. Auditory, emotion, fear, mental. The bore. He gave me a taste of what that sounds like. Didn't I just give it to you before? There it is. I have to keep asking for that there. Can I have a willpower save? All those within 30 feet? Please measure your distance from bore number two. Who is the one on the far left? You said will save? DZ through 23. Not 20 for 35. I fear no bacon. It sounds like breakfast. I rolled a two. I got a 16. It's okay. The only thing Muros is afraid of is that these things might fall in the ocean and he'll lose breakfast. So I'm pretty sure this, you know, it's all how you frame the fear. However, I don't like soggy bacon. Frightened one goes back on to your character, sir. Yeah, soggy bacon is disgusting. There wasn't a critical fail. It would have been 30. Okay, so fail your frightened one. Just a quick, just a quickly frightened one. Scared hiss. 30 feet, become frightened one, frightened two, critical failure. Okay, yeah, no, we're fine. Where were we? Let's out a squeal and is already in range of you. And since I'm economized, critically impaired, critically failed impaired, as Matt pointed out, he only gets a single attack against Guess Who? The giant snake that's taking up my door. Hey, you're all the two buddies. No, I buy easily would squeal at you. Meanwhile, board number three is taking this fight far more seriously. Looking sideways at his bloodied friend, he decides to not advance. But presses advantage from the center of the battle. Back to you, bore. 10, 27, hit. Two to eight plus eight piercing. More damage, 16 points to Mr. Anvil Bender. But wait. Hey, there's more. Faint yes. Striking again with his jaws. Another hit. Just tearing into the mess. There's so many coils. You just have, they finally find a way in. Past those scales. And now there's so much mass of your body. They're just chewing and chomping down. You take another 21 points of damage on top of that. Myros, how are you doing this? I just find all of the wounds. You're 81, 62 left? It's not bad. Oh, you're fine. Which brings us to Karam. Dude, devise strategy. And see if I can hit the sneaky human. Change, diaper to him. I wouldn't go that far. 17 for 34 hit. Okay. Four. Oh, why didn't it do my stuff? Dude, the thing, your stuff didn't do the thing. You got extra damage for devising. You just get to use it. Yeah, I usually get precision damage. Okay. If you drag, like if you just roll the number and the chat and then pull it onto the mini, it should attack her with it, believe. Yeah. Do you get, do you get precision in this point at this point? For what reason? Just because you used your. Yeah, because you used to buy a strategy. Okay. 3d6 precision. All right. So it is worth wasting action. Okay. So we'll just pull this on to her and see what happens. Hey. It worked. I believe it did. Here, let's do it again. See if anything else happens. Okay. Maybe it didn't work. All right. Fine. I'll do it manually. There we go. Okay. It's done now. Okay. Anything else? So that was two actions. Let's see. Add it. No, maybe I will go ahead and take a 15 foot stride and go just diagonally. Go just diagonally to. I'll break. Son. Speaking of which. Albrecht. Stonechucker. At the beginning of your turn. Oh, I remember. Do you take persistence at the beginning and ward it off at the end? Do you just take all your turn and then you take your persistent and ward it off at the end? I can remember. Do we bracket you or is all double on the end? It would be at the end. He takes damage. And then right after that, he makes a roll to see if he takes persistence. Okay. So you do have it right. And you cleared it up by taking healing. Which I'll probably do again, actually. Okay. Are you burning first level slots for this? Yeah. Okay. Then my job is done. I mean, yes, please. And so it's a single action, which is just a D8. Let's see. Okay. Can I target myself? Am I targeting myself? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. So I should be able to just hit that button right there and it'll do what's got to do. Yeah. Okay. So four hit points healed and it stops the bleed. Okay. And you did it to you. It actually helped you. Yep. Okay. And now I need to untarget myself targets human one. That was one action or two. Two actions for that heal spell. Single action. Tis a single action. Yep. But you can cast it as a single action, a dual action or a triple action. Oh, right. Because of the variant of the right. Okay. Right. Yeah, two gets the bonus, three gets the bursts right. Okay. Yeah. Exactly. You know, usually goes for the D eight plus eight. So I'm so used to the spell being a double action. So I'm going to use my last two actions to cast frostbite the can trip. Okay. On little meat. Yeah. Do it. Do it. Critical failure. Who sucks to be you? Four. He forced me to roll a four. Oh, no. Okay. Oh, no. So critical failure. There's some extra dialogue for that. Let me just have a quick read here. On critical failure, the target also gains weakness one to bludgeoning. Until the start of your next turn. That actually has some really good synergy with Ryan. Well, I'll have to cast the spell much more often. Yeah. It's going to be stopping up the targets. Yeah. Solid, solid strategy. All right. So here comes the damage six D four. Yo. And it should double 26 points of cold damage to your face. And it did. And that is all of my economy. I am done, sir. The last, although she critically fails. And as reflectively, she pulls up her arms in a cross and then suffers complete terrible frost burn to her throat and to the underside of her arms taking 26 points of damage. Flavor. Flavor. Well, it's just I have a notice that whatever we do, something cool. We're like in your face. In the face, like all the bad guys in book five to show up with mass going. Ah, the party is the Lord. All right, boys. Time to work the groin. The face in the groin. Yeah. That was season two. Yeah. Next season they all have like cod pieces. Yeah. No kidding. Oh, wow. Can you? Oh, never mind. You did healing damage, which cancels the bleed. So no need to. I'm good. I'm good. Let's go. Healing damage. Yep. I did healing damage to myself. I've been actually killing this. That's one. I have the high ground and I rape review once more with a two. Oh no. And I deftly step aside. Now I activate my penalty and another trust card with the dagger in my offhand for hit. Ooh. I'm stabbing you with my icy dagger for. I mean, Karam's this level and he has the stratagem. I'm just wondering if the sneak at like trying to take on this high level. I mean D six plus five plus the bleed damage is not shabby at all, really. You know, they're pretty. They're pretty dang vicious. I'm just, I can't understand why it's just throwing that on there. Precise damage. Yeah. Like you're not, you don't have any effects that I can see. So weird. Oh, I just hope I didn't miss out on all this awesome damage. But no, I'm going to go with my gut. Take, give yourself six points back. I don't know why it's doing this. It's not in the basic rules, then we're going to have to overrule it. Because some programs do not rule us. Though we do really enjoy fancy grounds unise. Thank you for the sponsorship. Also, I was asking if there was like, if you had like a strike at a striking enhancement or something that would add an extra dice on there. Yeah, I know. I'm looking through her stuff and there's nothing like she's got to get you flat footed. You know, and I'm just plus wanting the higher ground. I'm not like, there's nothing in the mechanic here for higher ground. It just. Hmm. Okay. Um, one, two, and then she is going to, what are we going to do here? I think it is time to where is she? Oh, I got plenty of juice left in me. Oh, the archer's approaching the sky is putting me spells in my face. I. I have a question. That last attack was a saving throw, not an AC hit, right? The spell? Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Because if you throw anything at my AC, I do have a reaction that can help me. But okay. No, I'll stay put. I'm rolling around the crates. I'm jumping around trying to match sword and spell, but probably in my best position right now. I double check the text on it, though, just in case it does list it as, but built in for it. Yeah. No, it's just a fortitude safe. I'm going to ask another rapier attack at full penalty because I know something you don't know. Miss. Okay. That's fine. Here's your nil shadow. Yeah. Call it luck. Call it DM sympathy. But at range. If you get to the end of this pier, not necessarily on the map, but at a stone's throw and you see all these people and innocent pigs and perfectly good bacon being attacked by a giant evil snake. What would you do? Well, assuming the rest of the town, you know, assuming there is a combat going on, I will join the fray and determine exactly where I lie in the spread. I'm only being a prick because the dock is on the ocean and he is a sea snake. It looks like this thing like came out of the ocean and is attacking a bunch of pigs, right? However, you do see your door friend and your halfling friend fighting a woman who is crouched on some crates looking and she's all in black and looking very evil and triad. So I'll give you that, but the whole snake pig thing, I would say it's meta to get involved there right away. What would you do? Oh, I would join. I would join the two that are fighting the woman because I already know they're pretty cool. So, you know, Caden hadn't steered me wrong yet, so let's join them. Okay. Three actions. Okay. I few draw weapons. Yeah. And you run for it? Yep. Okay. Would you want to come up behind the sorcerer or try to come up beside? Like, where would you try to run to? Would you try to veer out and get between the snake and the girl? What's your... Yeah, I would try and be somewhere between the snake and the girl so I can get like some kind of benefit of being able to join the strike as best as possible. Okay. Also, to put myself between my other friends and the snake, if possible as well. I am a champion. I do have a shield. Okay. So let's say that you come running up the dock. Here you are. Now, where would you want to move to if you had the distance? How much do I have? Let's say you have like your... You dug being exceedingly nice here. Okay. Your two actions, drawing weapon, and like puts you here. Okay. So the single action left. So I have one stride worth or a throw a dagger or whatever. Like I said, it'll be... Can you draw multiple weapons now as an action or is it just a switch? I know Corlettes you switch weapons as a single action as opposed to dropping one or putting one away as an action and pulling out a second one. Yeah. Can you do the double... Shh. I pull weapon, you know. I pull sword and shield. I pull, you know. Anyway. Okay. So going paralleling karum and then going wide. All right. Yep. There I would need an athletics check or an acrobatics for you to jump up on the crates beside her. We can do that. That is where you're ending your movement. A 23 for acrobatics. Oh, he's gonna say if he rolls a two and he goes right over the end. Oh, that is... Salt bats always wake you up. 23. A distant belch comes roaring over the hill. Whoa. Helps whizzing by karum. You know. Plants. Plants. You ever see those anime where the guy looks over and the dude is doing... You know how they have the vaulting horse and gym where you're supposed to put your hands down and your feet come either side of it and you're going over... You know, like your feet are straight out and your hands are between your legs. That kind of thing, right? The pommel horse. Yeah. Yeah. He does that to like the halfling. Op up. Yeah. The bag of CC brushes the back of your hair and he goes flipping onto the crates and he's there. And out of actions, but weapons drawn. Ready for action in round five. He does this. They do that. And the medium bore. No penalized. No crit misses, I believe. I am full on and I'm gonna go to town on this druid. Ripping and tearing with a 19 hits and bender. They're just shredding into poor Anvilbender here. 21 points of damage. Second attack. This thing, they're whipped up into a frenzy. They don't care about critical misses. The second hit with a 20 does miss. And now they have no room to travel. They just keep missing and tearing and shredding and only getting one hit of the three possible tries. But they are so engorged in the heat of blood battle. They're crazy pickies. And now. They are sendable bender. It's your turn, sir. What do you want to do before born? Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Good thing we're mammals and not reptilian early. You know, we would take offense to what you're saying about our stature and our mothers. What do you want to do, sir? Yes. Yes. Multiple hisses. So you want to attack number two? You were a bard. You know. I'm doing really well. I changed this guy to a bard and I'm very tempted to ask you guys, like when we pick up Jay and then again to like maybe shoot a couple of soads of those and Ryan the bard will ride again. Anyway, sorry. Go, where is? Oh, bite. Blurry of bikes. First bite goes. Blurry of bite. 34. It's a critical. Okay. 38. He engulfs its head, bites down, and you guys see the fangs come right through out through above the collarbone and he just rips his head off. Sorry. He goes through the collarbone. He goes through the collarbone. Yes. Describe your kill. That's actually a podcast. You just did. I know. But I took back the head biting part where you just kind of like the teeth go in and come out the other side and his eyes go away. I ride. I go in the death rolls and then I kind of just like and like dead bore body goes away from the wall. He was flying behind us under the grill that we set up earlier. The campfire. He's ready. Yay. Excellent. I will then target to bull number three. Hey, next in line. My tasty friend. You guys eat the bacon and you're all get poisoned because there's so much venom in their system. Dang it. Everyone but the dwarves die. They're used to helping it. Anyway, sorry. Don't worry. Oh, what do you want to do? Fight. Fight. Fight. Fight. Fight. Fight. Second slurry. Sad snake sounds. Okay. Alright. So my second action. The second action is going to be third attack. I make another bite. Thanks God. Go. Twenty two again. Sad. And my last action. Attack action like that. You're all nice. God be happy. It's a twenty seven. It's a hit. Snake bitey go. Do your thing. Twenty three points of damage. We're going to finish it by your bite. Keep going. And then I do the tongue thing. I don't know if you guys noticed, but you zoom in. We actually have health bars. There's a solid static line that changes color from green to yellow to red and slowly drops down the side of their minis. Oh, we don't see that. Oh, no, that's right. I have those for you. Yeah, we don't. We don't get that. Oh, yeah. Thanks for talking with me. We see ours. And I see how low mine is. But that's, but I don't, I don't even see meiosis. Actually, I don't see any health bars at all. I think you have it set up just to warn yourselves. Okay. And that's you, sir. That's all my bites. Bored number two is only with us. A moment of silence. Bored number three is just behind me by about 20 feet. That's all fast food. Bored number three. Fast food. He flew faster the air. Rips into you. But no, no, the scales prevail. And he misses taking penalties, trying to chew you up some more. He actually gets the hit digs in two to eight points of damage. Does critical damage. No, sorry. Does 18 points bringing you down to a critical hit point loss? Oh, come on. Yeah. I'm still chewing. Must get right in there with a natural toy. Jesus. Sting these things just went to her home. Twenty nine points of damage. And the snake goes stiff. And little crosses against his eyes. And he has a little sleep. Just a little sleep. Yeah. Nature's scary. This bore drops. You've been felled by a pig. Carrom. What do you do? I will. You ever see those commercials with the flex tape guy and he slaps the tape on the water barrel. That's like leaking. That's a lot of damage. I've seen the bard on the stage with some tar and I wouldn't bear all but sure. So I look at Albright and I say. Heels coming. Keep your head straight and I slap on some battle medicine. Nice. So you want to move over to him? Oh, Albright. You're helping the snake. Sorry. All right. Okay. I'll be okay. So that is a twenty seven for a critical success. Nice. And you also, because I've got forensic medicine, it's not a one day immunity. It's only an hour. Is there anything in battle medicine about having the tools? Do you need to have medical tools? Yep. Okay. So here's my thing. It happens insanely fast. You have weapons in hand and then suddenly you heal somebody. Yes, Joe. With the second edition remaster, you can keep up to two bulk of tools equipped on your person that can be pulled as part of the action to use the ability. As long as you have at least one free hand. Right. But he's got a bow which is to hand a weapon. Okay. Well, I mean, two handed weapon is literally changing grip. Right. So as long as you don't shoot this round. Right. Or if you want to use that new core thing where you can swap your bow for tools. But yeah, I like what Davis is saying. So just, you know, holding the bow wide. Yank out your tool, your syringe, jab them in the back of the shoulder. And then he also gets extra XP up to my level. HP. HP. Sorry. Oh, HP. Let's just say what? I can't do it. What? You want to just sit in a hut for like two or three days? He's slapping that battle this on me. I'm just slapping some XP on you, buddy. It's cool. What in the name of Oh, damn, let's go. That was really nice. Thank you. Did that automatically do it? I got it. It didn't target him. Yep. 48 plus nine. And it touched me in a very gentle and wondrous way. Oh, okay. Your pupils just dilate. Oh, good stuff. That being said, as a quick other side note, I don't know if Pathfinder Second Edition makes any sort of distinction, but Meros is currently a snake. So like you don't just easily be a vet if you're trained to treat people. So, but I don't, I was totally going to pull this. Oh, the alleged nature, but yeah, I know battle medicine. Yeah. Yeah. That was kind of my question is, could I go over their battle medicine? If you lose consciousness, do you revert back to your natural form? Ryan, I'm unsure of the answer to that question. That should be in wild shape and dying. Well, you're not. You have time, no offense, but you do have time right now in this battle to look a few things up. Sorry. So we're at Karam and Karam runs over does 31 points of battle medicine to Albrecht. You're adjacent. So, as the man said, instead of raising the bow again and drawing with a second hand, all you do is as treating action, which is cheese, but okay. Pull the syringe. Jam him in the back of the shoulder because I'm looking for a new body part for us to plow. Getting tired of face and groin boys and asses, you know, some, there's been some complaints. Uh, yeah, I guess for my other two actions, uh, can I walk over to Murros and then we'll do it at the nature level to see if I can battle medicine? Sure. All knowledge. Battle. See nature. Now, there is a feat where you can actually use the nature skill as medicine. What? Yeah. 34 with a nat 20, dude. Yeah. Yeah. But knowing he knows this, he knows it's offenses, his defenses, he knows where to hit it. Well, but again, it's different than healing. However, since you got a natural 20, I will be kind and going, you know, that green icher spitting out the side. That's not good. Maybe I should just sort of stop that from happening and he'll take his chances. You know, I'll give you something. Okay. I will give you some of that anyway. He moves. He thinks. He's out of turns. It's not, well, animal form is not a sustained spell, so it requires no concentration. That's the duration. So when you fall unconscious, you stay the animal. That's the duration of it. Yeah. Yeah. That's what I read it seems to think. Okay. So what is the duration? How many rounds? How many, how much time an hour a day a turn? Well, because I actually made it, I could have, I would have been a huge, a huge snake, you know, I made it a large snake with, uh, oh, what's that feed called? I don't want to, whoa, form control at level eight. Uh, that's for one hour. Okay. You're at dying one. You don't have an hour. Oh, what do you do? I will start chucking potions, Adam. I'm, how many potions can I throw at him with my action economy? Can I reach in and pull out two and throw two potions? Uh, drawing, like they're stowing gear and we've said you got your potion, bandolier, whatever. It's like drawing a dagger. So you got to pull one, toss it, pull one. Pull one. You're out. Okay. Yeah. So then that's what I will do. Okay. Let me say toss you're going to throw these like bombs at them. Yes. So I have a feet. Yeah. And the feet is called to do, to do, to do, to do. Where are you healing, bomb, by adding a special catalyst, you transform a healing elixir into a topical projectile. You grant the elixir the bomb trait. If you throw the elixir of life bomb at a willing target, you hit even on a failure, though not on a critical failure. If you're strike with this elixir bomb hits a living target, the target regains hit points as if it had consumed the elixir on a critical success. The target also gains the item bonus to saving throws against diseases and poisons for a minute. And I am chucking. Where's my notes? Because these are actually pretty good now. Yeah. Lesser elixir of life. So it's 3d6 plus six, but I got a hit, yeah, I think. So I don't know what kind of a roll that may be unarmed attacked, but no, there's probably a ranged attack. That would be what it is, right? Yeah. Well, his AC is crap right now. He's unconscious. He's prone. So I'm just going to drop this dice on zero sand will bander. Okay. It's a 20, which is a miss, but it doesn't matter. I hit as long as it wasn't a critical. Yeah. No, you're fine. And it was 3d8 plus six, it's like a giant coil of rope right now. It's not hard. He's only 15 feet away. So 3d8 and then add six to that. So 12 plus six, 18. Whoo. Okay. So 18 points and you gain the wounded one condition because only trading wounds removes it, not magical and not elkamal. Yeah. All right. He's up. Ryan, give yourself 18 hit points back. You will wake up. Excellent. But you live to fight another day. Al, what else you got for us? So that's my action economy. Pull a potion, check a potion, pull a potion. Okay. And that would have provoked, by the way, if sneaky human has attack of opportunity. Uh, no, she does not. Sweet. Nobody does but fighters. Oh, good times lost. But yeah. Well, there are every single class gets a feat that they can take that gives them some sort of reaction attack. Yeah. Yeah. And she actually has a defensive one as a quick side note. Anyone could take like fighter dedication and eventually get attacked opportunity, I believe. You and I should talk about completely ripping book four apart and making these guys far more dangerous. Oh, damn it. Rose is written. Nevermind. Um, okay. Al, sneaky human. Uh, you're throwing potions and now I have a swash buckling looking human. Would you describe yourself once more please really quick? I've buckled a few swashes. I'm wearing a very dirty, heavy over leather coat and some very unkempt miscellaneous clothes. It looked like I got them out of a grab bag. The only thing fancy about me is my, my rapier and my silver holy symbol of caden and my adamantine mug on my hip. Um, but, uh, I, I do kind of kip up on there and reek of stale beer. So there's that. Okay. Uh, as an, a simple action, she does the proverbial back flip off the crates and onto a barrel just to put some distance so that you guys don't circle her. And adjacently we'll try to still maintain an attack distance from our closest opponent, which is now Frazier and she will attack you. Welcome to the show natural 20 nice with a flip, but doesn't wait to land before she uses the distraction of the flying heels and shoulders to land lots and lots of hitpoint damage. So a lot of damage, uh, takes seven off because I say that seems, it seems like quite a bit. The deadly, the D eight, we're all the six, the natural one on my black regular dice and it doubles and crits and on down the road, we go, but the two purple dice, I know a one in six. So seven points. It's not 37 points of damage. We do only 30 lucky you lucky me, but wait, there's more. I still have a single attack left and it's Tabith at you for 10 points. Not 19. Bice is getting annoying. Please give yourself seven back before. Yes. Okay. You take a total of 40 wounds. Let's put it that way from all these stabbings. Okay. Not the extra seven, not the extra nine, but 30 from the first 10 from the second. You should be at 40 wounds. And that is her. And now, sorry, 40, not 50, gotcha. There you go. All fixed. Frasier. Is your signature move after two episodes of waiting to get you lined up for this cameo and fully integrated into the party. And he finally does how what, um, I'm, I'm actually going to try. I think it's the shove maneuver or whatever it is. Um, sorry, we're at the time. We will see you all next time. You son of a. No, no, no. Shumb away. So tempting. Not a barrier yet. Um, can't see. Olt? Can't target it. Athletics, right? Correct, but I can't target her. I got it. I got it. Okay. You're right. Okay. Yeah. Um, and let's see. I think I even have the action for it. So if you want to just roll dice, you're allowed to drag the results out of the chat and right onto the mini and it'll decide if you hit or not. I post clicked it twice so they mean to click it twice. All right. So the first one, 21, a success. Um, I push her back five feet and I'm pushing directly, diagonally back five feet. Okay. Into the water. That's my attempt. Yeah. Uh, like save to catch some edge of the boat, edge of the dock, something, you know? Do I have to match your show? I don't know. Well, let's see. Let's see how awesome it is. Like if it's unless it's awesome, it's not going to happen. I'm just going to like fall backwards, crack my spine off the tip of the boat and fall into the water with a big ouchy. Um, shoving damage. If I hit the ground, if you make me prone, I don't think there's actually, uh, let's, let's talk to Miros. Miros, you got a thing where you shove and if it's crits, there's like strength damage or something because just because there's no floor for me to land on, I fall five feet down to a boat. Yeah. I think you're talking about, uh, my, I stopped them from moving. It's like reaction technically kind of technically that's only stopped by crit and technically she is not knocked prone by the shove. In theory, the only reason she may fall at this point is because there's no ground where she's going. That's a one for a reflex save. I shit you not. So we would know I get a 15. It's a natural one. So you shove her, right? And she does the, the twist and tries to plant her foot between like tries to grab the dock and tries to get her feet under her, but the boat is not five feet. It's three, four feet off. You know what I mean? Like there just isn't enough space, right? You guys just hear her twist and move like she's going to like land like in the water or on something, but she's just awkwardly between the dock is already at hip level under the elbow and the boat pier is already at knee level and she can't get her foot under it. And she just cracks her knee off the boat, bangs her elbow off the dock curses and spluishes into the water. She lands on her lock picks on the way down. Okay. Okay. Ryan. Hey, we've all fallen on our keys once in our life. That is a crit damage right there. Using all weapons to the ocean DP says this is why we don't let him GM off to anything else. Fraser. Not that you haven't done enough to me. Well, that's one action show. He does the neo shove like that sort of palm up. You're still held, you know, I was thinking it was more of a kick. That felt appropriate or like a stumble like you're over an attack, but you kind of catch yourself off balance and he accidentally knocked her legs and she's like, Oh, shit, sorry. Just go for a kick. Just go for a foot, just like where this this is not this is not Kintargo shove that kind of Sparta thing. So I'm going to hop over here with a, do you see a stride? I'm sorry. I'm moving towards the borders. I'm going to go with one of them in combat. Say something to her when she should. What do you say? Anything? Don't step in the workouts. You need a bath. Kick. Awesome. All right. Can I have athletics or acrobatics as you just sort of lilt jump down off the barrel and then you're moving into Derefort, Derefort, Derefort, Derefort, Derefort, Dereint. I'm going to use, do we, do we have a hero point back to the session? Yes. I'm going to use a hero point to reroll. I wish I had a hero point. That'd be awesome. If you split spilled in guts and fell into twenty sixes. Okay. Jump in. Jump in the barrel. Yeah. I'm going to make a second attack with the negative five penalty at the bore. Okay. Is it negative five? Rapiers or agile weapons? Are they not? Whatever the? No, sorry. The daggers are agile. Not rapier. I'll be okay. But I did a critical mess. So. Yeah. All right. Um, standard. Now, rules as written, it says DM get creative doesn't say be mean, just get creative. So what we usually go as a general rules is written, but not exactly house rule is cost you action economy. You overstep, you slip, and it costs you an action next round. So next round, you're down to two. Okay. Okay. As you overstep over lunge, you know, kind of thing is a nice, simple, damn it moment, you know, without just breaking your weapons up or whatever, pop, pop, pop. And now we are at the top of round six. Next time. What was that? On Dragon Ball Z. Oh, I did one thing that show, thank you. And now we're going to get into the preview of next episode where it pretty much spoils all the key points I'm just going to run credit. (upbeat music) [BLANK_AUDIO]
