A prayer for My Son's Path
Thank you for listening to daily woof at prayers. This is a simple prayer for your son to walk the right path. Repeat this prayer and make it your prayer by faith. Remember that the prayers of the righteous are powerful and they are effective. Also remember that there's only one thing required as you pray this prayer because repeating the prayer doesn't necessarily get results. But it's praying with faith. Believe that God is able and believe that God is bigger than your circumstances and believe that he's also bigger than what's in front of you. So believe in God. Believe that with man it may seem impossible, but with God all things are possible. God is able to deliver. God is able to set free. God is able to restore and God is able to heal. He's able. How do we know that God is able? Because God has done these things before. And if God has done it in the past, God can do it again. Believe in him and believe that he is able to do a new work in your son's life. Let us pray. 2 Corinthians 12, 9 through 10. But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ then, I am content with weaknesses in insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong." O Father, in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, today I lift up my son before you, and I pray for his path. My prayer today, Father, is that you would first order his steps by your word. Give him an ear to hear when your Holy Spirit tells him to go left, and when your Spirit tells him to go right. O Father, give him discernment to detect the lies of the devil. To decode and expose all demonic spirits that come to plot, scheme, and manipulate him in life, I pray that he would know the truth, and the truth would set him free. O Father, keep him from all distractions of the enemy. Spirits that are assigned to strategically fear him off course, and have him to drift away from the truth. I pray, Father, that you give him the spiritual discipline to run the race that is before him. Give him spiritual endurance to continue to run the race that is before him. Father, I pray that you would give him a craving for your word. Keep him from desiring the things of the world, but I pray, Father, that you would empower him through your Holy Spirit to live a life that is set apart, a life that yearns for you. Father, give him the spirit that you gave, David, as he said, as a dear thirst for the water brooks, so my soul thirsts for you. Give him a desire and a craving for the word of God, so that when he is tempted or enticed, he will have the power to overcome the temptations of the enemy. So Father, I pray that you would continue to develop him as he runs the race that is set before him. Help him, Father, empower his faith to believe in you. And I come against all unbelief, all doubt, every form of lust, everything that is rooted in idolatry. I come against it in the name of Jesus over his life. I rebuke it, and I declare over my son that no weapon formed against him will be able to prosper. I pray, Father, that even when he is bitten by things that are poisonous, that it shall have no effect upon his life, because greater is you that live in him than he that lives in the world. For you will lead and guide him, you will cover him, and you will protect him. I declare that over his life, and I pray, Father, that he shall stand on your word and see your salvation, see your goodness, your grace, and ultimately your power. In Jesus' name, I declare these things by faith, that he that begin it, a good work in my son, shall complete that work until the day of Christ Jesus.
