For us Corinthians, the 13th chapter and the 13th verse, the three things will last forever, faith, hope, and love. And the greatest of these is love. Romans 8, 26, from the NIV version. In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. With this in mind, we constantly pray for you that our God may make you worthy of his calling and that by his power he may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness and your every deed prompted by faith. First Thessalonians chapter one verse 11. Our scripture today is Psalm 8, verses four and five, from the common English Bible. What are human beings that you think about them? What are human beings that you pay attention to them? You've made them only slightly less than divine and crown to them with glory and grandeur? Colossians three, eight through 10. But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these, anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge and the image of its creator.
