There will be no personal nor direct attacks on anyone. And I would ask that you please try to keep down the loud cheering and the clapping. There will be no booing and no unruly behavior. With that, this is painful and it will be for a long time. Don't you, baby, that's right. This man knows what's up. After all, these are a couple of high-stepping turkeys and you know what to say about a high stepper. No stepper, too high for a high stepper. This is Midday Mobile with Sean Sullivan on FMTalk1065. Well, Sean's a tough guy. I mean, I think everybody knows that. Sean, he took some licks, he hangs in there. Yeah, what's wrong with the deal we got? I mean, the deal we got drank pretty good, don't it? Did you hear what I said? So this is a main council. I had no doubt about them. That doesn't suck. If you don't like it, you're bad. Last question. Were you high on drugs? Last question, kiss my ****. And here we go, FMTalk1065 Midday Mobile. Glad to have you along on this Monday edition of the show. The phone number and the text line, you know it. But if you don't, it's okay. We'll give it to you now. Same for both 3430106, 3430106. The segment show also brought to you by my buddy Forrest at Bluewater Yacht Sales and Service. Whether you want to get them to do the service work on your Yamaha or Mercury engine, or you do the service work yourself, they've got a great parts department. Kelsey in parts is like a guru when it comes to parts, and all you got to do is call in with a serial number of that engine, and she'll say, "Okay, you need this part, that part. Haven't ready for you." And if for some reason it's this crazy part that's not in stock right now at Bluewater, next day, she'll have it in next day for you to pick up. So give them a call and see what they can do for you for the service work on your boat, whether you do it or you have them do it, Bluewater Yacht Sales and Service Online at BluewaterYachtSales.net. All right, great to get this man back on the show, and it's been too long. He was on with us early on after Russia invaded Ukraine and on many times after that, it's our buddy Joe Savage and the group Roads of Hope, his charity, Joe, good to hear from you. Sean, it's great to be back on. I'm sorry, I have a little sickness going here, so... Listen, it's going around. I just had to hit the switch and cough while you were talking. So first of all, before we get an update, but tell folks that don't remember our conversations before Roads of Hope, what do y'all do? Well, we're celebrating our 10th anniversary. We started in 2014 in Moldova, which is a small little country next to Ukraine in Eastern Europe, former Soviet Republic. That's a big, big area for human trafficking, both labor and sex trafficking, and they specifically target orphan kids. So I became aware of that and felt led to start a home. So we start with one home and three girls, three teenage girls, and now we have Rome and Rome, and then we have 51 homes. And in the midst of a large historical camp in all of Europe right now, and then when the wars start with Ukraine, we had contacts all over Ukraine. We were working in orphans, get them out of danger and had a fan going into danger, hauling goods to elderly and disabled and those who couldn't get out of the harvest way. So we've had a lot going on in the last couple of years, to save the leaves. For sure. And you know, your story is something. I mean, this is a, you know, mobile homeboy, one of the savages here that happened to, you were playing baseball. I mean, your relationship with that part of the world, I mean, it's, you know, it's not exactly our sister city coming from Opio. No, because, you know, if you go back to 1989, I played summer baseball in Moscow, with still the silver union. I mean, the KGB was attached to us the entire time and it was fascinating. And we played in their old Olympic stadium there, and we played some other European countries too. But that got my attention, the conditions of the people. And then, of course, as a person of faith, the church was not allowed. I mean, it was allowed, but not really, in these Eastern European countries. And so as soon as the walls came down, I was 23 years old, Sean, leading my own pain. I look back at that and think, who in the world was, they had to be nuts to go with me at 23. They're just former Eastern European country. Our translator didn't speak English. Our bus never showed up. But here I am this many years later. And, you know, Mobile is home for me. Actually, Bowen County is, at this point, that we are an old Mobile and Bowen County family. And our organization is right there in Bowen County. And as we have referred to this past year when I was last gone, I mean, you guys are who really propelled a lot of cash and helped us literally save a lot of people. And show me, make one thing clear before I continue on. If you recall, my first interview with you, I said, you can't give this kind of money to corrupt people. And without safety nets. And I took a little heat for that. And... Proven, you know, I've learned through the hard way. Yeah, I've learned, you know, I've been... You can't navigate this place, like most people do, and a lot of agencies, Americans come in here, and they just get just gobbled up. But, you know, we saw the need of the orphan. And that's what we went after in 2014. I fight against the Russian Mafia to protect these children and get them into safe family-type homes. And then, when the war began, we started trying to protect orphans from the Russian military. So, when you think of a little tiny non-profit from Alabama, it's literally, I don't know if it's true, the largest orphan care program in all of the Eastern Europe, protecting children against the Russian mob, and against the Russian military. It's pretty nuts. Hey, listen, Samson won that one, didn't he? Can you check back to the Scripture? So, yeah, Samson can be polite. Good to see you're right. Yeah, so... You're right. Every day, we're fighting a Samson battle. And it's cool. I mean, we could see God do amazing things, could see these kids' lives changed. And by the end, I mean, in the midst of chaos, in the midst of corruption, that's why there's an orphan problem with trafficking, right? You don't have these kind of issues as broadly as it is here unless you're that kind of... that corrupt of a society. And that's why we started and we saw all the need. And despite God's grace, we've been able to do some things about it and help a lot of kids. You know, so much of our conversations have educated me, going forward over the last years. Whether it's... When somebody said, "Can you believe there are some?" The Russians are getting people on the backside of the flank here in Transnistria. And I'm like, "Yeah, that's something I talked about with Joe many times, that there were Russian troops going in there." Or they're talking about the situation. Different parts of Ukraine kind of help people solve the war. And ethnically, you educated me a lot. So I want to ask you, at that point, it was an acute situation. Now, it's acute for anybody who's on the front lines or a missile hits, I agree. But it's now in a chronic situation there, right? It's long going. People you talk to on the ground, do they have any thoughts about where this ends up? And how does this affect the situation? Is it more orphans, or have they gotten more out? What's the state of affairs there? Sean, that's a loaded question. I'll do my best to answer. I think there's a couple of interesting developments. And I don't know what to make of it. I do have a prediction of a few things that I've learned and seen. One thing that's certain, the Ukrainian people had a will to fight. I remember the first time all fair, we talked. You said, well, how can they defend themselves against Russian? They will die in the streets with sticks before they're given to Russia, because they had a long, long history of Russian suppression back. They starved the Ukrainians one time. I mean, these Russians have been brutal to the Ukrainians through the centuries. And, you know, grandparents and great-grandparents passed this stuff down. Plus, this whole Soviet occupation. And so, you know, people say, oh, they're the same people. No, they're not. Not if you understand your history. They're not. And so it's been brutal. But people, you know, the tenacity of people. I mean, but they're going to have a lot of mental health issues as a fall out. I mean, there's been so many people die and see really gruesome scenes. And, but here's a couple of things I think might be of interest to you, is that Russia has had their crown prints, if you want to call it, their crown prints navy base for the Black Sea. They're in the area called Crimea, that they occupied back in 2014. Sean, they just pulled their last ship out of the Crimea and has moved it over into the Russian mainland. So there are no Russian warships in their golden prints, crown prints, port any longer. They're getting hit pretty constantly, right? I mean, Ukraine is getting in there. With very innovative marine drone attack, like, you know, down in the water or underneath the water and above, of course. And Russia lost a third of all their ships, where either sought or badly damaged. And I mean, good gosh, the Brits and the French both give an estimate that there's been 450,000 Russians wounded or killed in this thing. Yeah. And the tragedy of that is I know some people on that side of it. They don't want to go to the war, but they just, you turn 18, goes send you to a short, tiny little camp, and go put you on the front line so you can get shot. Because they don't worry about the people there. Their whole MO is we will just fight and keep putting people out there. Doesn't matter how many of them die. No. And until they can wear Ukraine down because Ukraine don't have the same population, right? I mean, that brings me to my question, Joe. I mean, you know, talk about the green machine, a bunch. And by the way, on the asymmetrical warfare with the drones taking out parts of the Black Sea Fleet, it's an amazing story as we talk about the new world of warfare out there. But those number of Russian dead, and if we could ever get the accurate information, I understand the politics of it, not releasing Ukrainian dead numbers. But that green machine, whether it's the Battle of Stalingrad from World War II or what's going on now, how do they ever, they can fight in the street with sticks and stones, but when one Ukrainian dies and they kill two other Russians, then four Russians show up in place. I, you know, I'm just trying to be, look at this and go, where's the, where's the outcome? How do we, how can you tell me that the Ukrainians would ever take back their full borders and Russia would say, you know, hat in hand, we're sorry, we're gone. Yeah, it's a war of attrition, if you want to call it that. I mean, you know, you're talking about a massive population plus Russia's gone out and got soldiers from all these, you know, kind of rogue third world kind of countries. And, you know, if you were told, he was pulling prisoners out to start. That's who was raped in the women when they would come through. And it was brutal. And now, you know, it's not as, that's, he's not doing that. Putin's not doing that like he was, but he just keeps calling people up. I saw a little video clip that someone sent me of a bunch of young people leaving Far East Russia heading to Ukraine. And Sean, I kid you not, they were in vehicles that were from World War II. And the people were honking their horns and celebrating. And, you know, and I looked at a few older faces. I zoomed in and some older men who were more mature. They looked like they were on their way to death while the young guys were hanging out of the vehicles. Like, whoa, hey, we're going to, you know, go to the big Ukraine. And then, and then all of a sudden it just goes quiet as these vehicles pull away. And it's senseless, you know, and I've made the argument all along that the whole war, the entire reason Putin went in there is because he wants the Don Boss. The Don Boss is where lithium is. Of course, you know, with all electric cars and so forth. And this is one thing that we don't understand in America that like, for instance, I was told by a Ford employee in Europe the other day that Ford is not going to have a single gasoline vehicle made manufactured in Europe coming up this next year. Now, the accuracy is that was an internal document I read. Now, my point is there's massive amounts of electric vehicles and, you know, for for Europe that's coming in that direction. And so my point is not to get into that because that's not really the point of our problem. No, but I think it is why they want to hold on to Don Boss, you know, so much early on the rhetoric coming out there. They're taking over there the bread basket of Europe and I'm like, okay, all right. But Russia, that's not the key and the key was lithium. Well, and I have a, I do not understand why the politicians haven't focused in on this at any time. I have a document. Sean, if I can go find all this stuff, how's our U.S. government not find it? I mean, because you can't find what you don't look for. I work it up. I'm not even an actor. But anyway, I have a document in my possession that was before the war, right before the war began before Putin went into Russia. And it was written by Ukrainian scientists, okay? And it was, well, I can't remember, forgive me. It's the people that study all the minerals and dirt and all that stuff, right? Geology. Geology. Yeah, but there's a specifically for minerals. That's just why I didn't do very well in science, Sean. I mean, you know, if I, if my maid had D, my mama would celebrate. So I made a seat. She'd take me to Poland. She'd give me a cup. Really? I mean, really? So, but mineralogist or something like that? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Whatever they are. Well, this official document and it stated that there's so much lithium and other valuable minerals in the Donbas, which means East for East Ukraine, that if, when all of that gets, gets mined and processed, right, which takes years to do, but when all of that gets, gets mined, Ukraine, it will be the wealthiest nation in all of Europe. Yeah, that was officially the scientist and that was right before the war began. And then Putin thought he was going to get the contract for all of that. And it didn't happen. Instead, Zelensky and his crew, whatever, gave the contract to a Western company. I think they were based in Australia. And so when that happened, it's like, well, wait a minute. We've never operated like this before. And so next thing you know, too much later, here comes the build up on the border. And they come rolling in. I think it was a combination of Trump wasn't in there because they didn't do anything while Trump was there. They're scared of him. Trump wasn't there so they felt like they could get away with it. They thought Europe would be very weak in response as well and to take that over. Now, I do have a prediction because troops have also withdrawn. The Russian troops have withdrawn, not entirely out of Belarus. Don't misunderstand, but off of the border, they're with Poland. They all pulled back. So when it tells me, when you start pulling troops back or your border with Poland, you start moving your ships from your golden boy port in Crimea. I mean, that's their pride. And they've moved them all out of there and relocated. Something's in the works. And none of us will ever point no, but there's something in the works without a doubt. And so my prediction is if Trump wins, he will cause the Linsky on the phone and say, do you want our continued support? Then you better just take Crimea and some of the Donbass, but you better be happy with Crimea. He'll call Putin on the phone and say, listen, you know what we can unload on you. So pull out of Crimea and take the Easter, take part of the Donbass. You get some of what you want, Linsky, get some of what he wants. And the U.S. can end this thing really quick. That's really all it takes. If we would show some guts and some manpower, the war could have been over a long time ago. All we did was kept saying, let's just keep them in the battle instead of winning the battle. Don't take some ice, but be done with it. Yeah, well, that's exactly what we've done. And we continue to just turn it up a little bit at a time to drag it out, for sure. It's a situation that I hope you're right. I hope there's a way to get to peace there. Do me a favor. We talked about all that, but the key to what y'all are doing every day, like we start off with, is getting these orphans out of there, even orphans that have come to live here in Baldwin County. How do people donate to Rhodes of Hope? How do people watch what y'all are doing? Where do they go? Well, they would go to RhodesOfHope.org, and there's a donate button there. They can go up. One of the things we need help with right now is we're in the middle of this camp, this children's camp. Man, these kids have been counting the days to get to come to our camp, and it is awesome. I mean, it is so good. We got 225 kids, and then we took our 56 or so of our house parents, and we took them on a little retreat because they were so worn out. They've never done it. I had house parents yesterday say, with peers in their eyes, Joe, thank you so much. We've never had to bake. We haven't been on any kind of a vacation in over nine years. And, you know, these people have worked. Our homes operate 365 days. Think about this because it's our 10-year anniversary. 365 days, every single day, we operate our children's homes, and we've done it consistently for 10 years without a single day of interruption. Wow. And so, yeah, it's pretty, you know, I don't have any idea how much food that is and warm clothes and how many kids we've prevented from being trafficked. I would rather prevent them from being trafficked than try to rehab them after the young traffic, you know? Don't let the hurt come to them. No. And we've seen these kids smile. So, we will start a new Facebook, a lot of postings here starting actually this afternoon. And it's some gorgeous faces. Oh, my gosh, these kids smiles. Now, just look at them and think they were in terrible conditions because most of the ones we take care of or special needs, or they have had severe abuse, neglect, malnourishment, you know, to the point of almost death, and then we take these kids and bring them into our homes and love them and put them in a family, and everybody needs to be in a family. It doesn't matter what your age is. And I've seen there's a core principle in life and these kids are awesome. I mean, they really, really are. And I see those smiling faces, and I'd love for people to help us because we really need help with these kids. As always, y'all are awesome for the help you're doing there. And it's roots right here in South Alabama. Joe, we're going to get you back on soon and get an update. And God bless you and everybody working with you. Hey, Sean, can I add one more thing real quick? Sure. I'll make it really quick. It's that people often ask me, "Why are you helping kids over there not kids in America?" We help kids in America every day too. Just want to make sure that's clear, right? There's a lot of hurting kids around, man. We all just need to love them and help them. And that's what we're all about. So it's roadsofhope.org and we're on Facebook and Instagram and all that. All right, Joe, thank you. Thank you very much. Hurricane Debbie made landfall in the big bend of Florida this morning as a Category 1 storm. It has since weakened to a tropical storm, as Debbie tracks to our east. Meteorologist Caroline Carrither says we'll see drier, hotter and windier conditions. Temperatures will soar to the 90s this afternoon, but with the lower humidity and a north breeze, heat index values will only reach near 108. There is a heat advisory in place for our coastal counties from noon to six. Just a few showers are possible this afternoon. Local emergency crews are making their way to areas impacted by Debbie. Power companies are sending dozens of linemen to either Florida, South Carolina, or Georgia. A portion of Old Shell Road at the railroad Underpass has reopened just in time for school traffic to start this week. The Underpass is notorious for flooding during bad weather, and one goal for the project was to improve drainage. Devin Walsh, WKRG News 5. The link will be up on our... I'll put the link up here on Twitter and just a second, and we'll put the link up as well on our Facebook page, facebook.com/FMTalk1065, but y'all have always been so great. Roadsofhope.org, making those donations, helping out. Doing God's work, truly doing God's work with Joseph, which has been doing for a long time. Doing that before the war broke out in Ukraine was already doing it. So that's why I trust his opinion about what's happening now. The man has perspective on it and has so many people that he's affiliated with, that he's there and people that are on the ground helping and getting those kids out. And really dire situation. It was dire before there was a war raging there. And now, these years later, it continues. Alright, coming back, more Midday Mobile. 3430106, that's how we talk. [Music] This is Midday Mobile with Sean Sullivan on FMTalk1065. [Music] [Music] We know that they know precious metals quite well. Jewelry quite well. But collectibles, y'all are as a group. You know this inside and out. You were telling me you have what's coming in here. It would be hot off the presses. This is called the Batarang. The Batarang. Batarang, yeah. And what that is, it's basically a Batman logo design. But it's more of like the comic book logo. It's more rounded. We used to have them in like a flat one where it's with long, long gated. But now this one is rounded. It's coming in. They just came out with it right at the end of July. Now this is, so Batman fans has a must have. Yes, I would say so. Yeah, absolutely. There's a lot of those things that were super popular. Some people even had them in grades because on the front there was fake to where you could engrave a personal message. But I would recommend that especially if you want to keep it in your collection and let it grow in value over time. So, and that's the thing too. These things that are going to be limited in their hip. You get one and you sit on them for a little bit and they grow because collectors, right? Collectibility. Oh, yeah. Yeah. There's stuff that we've had that I've collected on poultry coins that I bought. The 39 bucks or so. And now it's over $100, you know. Wow. Okay. I like that kind of return. So, people, I guess it's going to be a limited run. So, is it first come for a serve? They call you get on a list. How's this work, Anna? They can come in as soon as I get them in or they can drop a name. They can even call. They don't have to make a trip out or just give a call shop for numbers. Two five one seven two five one five nine zero. And I'm here all day Monday through Friday nine five. Good stuff, Anna. We'll talk again soon. Okay. All right. There she goes. And that mobile bank coins and fine jewelry. To the text line here, let's see. Do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do. I came back to an earlier conversation. Rob said, hell yeah, for e-bike for school. It was uphill both ways for him. It was only uphill one way for me. But the e-bike stuff for now, I love it now in my fifties, but man, would it have been something to have that when I was a, a young man? Let's see, Jason said what's, oh, I'm sorry. Just getting these time out for Joe Savage's opinion of Zelensky. Over time, if you go back and listen to conversations, it's been, he doesn't paint. He paints him as a human being, right? Not like the messaging coming from our country wants to make Zelensky. He's a super hero. He's perfect and you know, they can do no wrong. He didn't paint him like that, but he has told me more of her time about the Ukrainian people. I'm on the same page. I've been the whole time. I don't know. And Joe talked about it. He feels maybe there's a path to a ceasefire and peace there. I hope so. The, the, I mean, the war, it's the green machine. They don't care. And believe me, there have been some kudos to the Ukrainians, like talked many times on the show, the use of the subs, like the, they're aquatic drones. I think some of them are fully under water. Some of them are just right at the surface and what they've used to use those back to what we're talking about with Israel. They use low price comparatively equipment to, to attack things that cost millions, if not billions of dollars. That's the thing. And I wonder if we're far enough ahead of this now a robust drone program, obviously for the United States, but these cheaper drones, right? I know that doesn't have a lot of appeal inside the beltway and the, you know, military industrial complex, but are we, we in a situation where I mean the Russians are learning that right. And they've had to up their drone game. I think they're getting Iranian drones, which Iranian drones are probably going to be launched here at any point today against Israel. But this dichotomy in the, you know, it used to be arms race. You just spent more and more and bigger and bigger and bigger weapons to combat the other person's bigger weapons. And then all of a sudden you show asymmetrical warfare can use a $25,000 drone to take out your billion-dollar ship. But I wonder if there is a path to peace with Russia and this idea, this administration that keeps pushing, that it's going to be this total victory for Ukraine. I don't, I just don't see it since the word go and how much more American might do we send to continue something every time you would think, okay, we're going to sound a little bit more because it's going to go into negotiate, right? You got to have something to negotiate for. You got the 10-speed bicycle. I got the, I got the, I got the Benjamin, right? There's something, there has to be some kind of leverage, right? If Ukraine gets anything leverage-wise, like we've seen in the past year before this latest offensive from the Russians, I was always, would look at it and go, okay, now, now, now, go to the negotiating table, try to negotiate on that, but we didn't. We continue that. Now, what Joe gives us perspective in Ukraine, what he does day in and day out with roads of hope is perspective on human beings. And I really, y'all been so great with donating something I took to donating for as well, their mission, what they're called on to do, there is really amazing work to get children out of those situations or into a safe place and just going to continue, right, until we see some kind of resolution there. And the idea, I just, the idea that it's going to be a, that Russia's going to go, well, you've really showed us, we're going to leave now, I mean, it's just a, why we get up and say the Union event or a presser, I mean, I know the dark side of this, but the non-dark side, get up and tell us that this is going to be, it's not. So how do we save lives? And of course, this is going to be the same thing we're looking at in the Middle East. All right, somebody sending me something here about, oh, yeah, you're talking about the markets. So I don't, this unnamed texture, I don't know if you heard me at the beginning of the show. And send me some about Black Monday. Yes. Talked about this morning, and I talked about it last hour on the show with the DK, what our markets are doing. And this unnamed texture also said golden Bitcoin in this screen grab. I think that's from Twitter, it says golden Bitcoin in the gutter. Look at Bitcoin. Now here's, here's the, this is the opportunity and I'll laugh texture because I'm famous. You get Dalton in here sometime and go over the last 10 years of me talking about Bitcoin. Okay, you wouldn't be like, it's like $2,000 way too much, but let that thing come down and then we'll get into it and you wake up and pay it and you're like, Oh my gosh, it's 20,000, 30,000 wins the play for it right now on the five day. So you're correct. All over the markets, Bitcoin also reacting to it. Bitcoin was as low as $52,000 and $60 today. It's come back up 55,000. Do you think if you made that play in the intermediate trading 65, it started the five day at $65,000, a Bitcoin and now it's, you know, it's at 54. Let's see. Yeah. It's some 65,000 to 54,590 as of just update there on trading. Believe me, I'm watching a named texture. I've watched the same thing all morning and been talking about it here on the air and in the hallways, this texture says, can the young men of Russia leave the country and instead of going to war or they're not allowed to leave? They are not supposed to leave. Remember, they, a lot of early on, people were exiting the country and they were doing a lot to keep them in there and there's going to definitely had people, a diaspora of Russian men leave to avoid this, but there's a lot that can't. You know, could you up and leave, you know, that fast to avoid this and then what happens is your family back home? Oddly enough, I'm going to see a over the next week here, let's see a kid who came to live with us and I was probably, I guess I was a senior in high school and he came straight from Moscow and live with us. He was associated with my father and a partner of his and then this kid, I must see he lives in the United States now. I'd always joke with him when we text. I'm like, don't screw up your green card and he said, absolutely not at this point, does not want to go back to be sent into that and there's a lot of people like that, but they still will go find somebody from Vladivastok to throw that this never Ukrainians could be as brave as the bravest warrior out there and the problem is Russia has five more to throw at them the next time. All right, come and write back more bid day mobile. This is mid day mobile with Sean Sullivan on FM Talk 1065. Check it with my buddy David McCreary at LCM motor cars and a fresh week to work with. Let's talk inventory, man. How's it looking? Inventory is good, Sean. We've had a busy weekend. We sold a bunch of cars on the weekend. We need to buy some more. We're going to go down and try to buy some this week, but with the rain and everything, they're still there to buy if you want, but when you can't see them and you can't know what they really look like, we kind of pull out and don't buy them or don't even go on it. So we're going to go next week and we'll have a huge selection, but we've got a great inventory right now too. Yeah, and this is one of the chances if somebody goes, okay, they hadn't gone yet. If there's a special vehicle they're looking for, this is when we holler at, it's what I did. Yeah, and the reason we didn't go is because we want to have as nice of cars as we have out here right now. We don't want to get down there. And when it's raining on cars, you can't really see what's had paint work and what hadn't. You just want to pick out the right cars so you sell a customer an ice car. We've got a really nice selection of vehicles now. We're playing on buying some more just like them. All right. Tell folks how to find you. We're at Highway 90 and Plantation in Theodore. It's one mile south of ITNX at 15A. You can give us a call at 251-375-0068 or just go to the website, LCM Motor Parts.com. Thanks, David. Have a good day, Sean. All right, you too. There goes David Macquarie from LCM MotorCars. So yeah, headline here about deaths associated with now, I guess, tropical storm, Debbie. And this, I mean, I guess there's no other way to do this, but I see this in storms all the time. I don't know how you have a solution because you got to make a decision, did it or did it not have something to do with it. But the thing is sad news. I think four deaths so far in the wake of Debbie, but some of these are like people had a car, okay, this wouldn't take away from this person because this is a tragic story. But there's a car wreck at 930 last night and it wasn't like it's in Florida, but it wasn't like it was from wind or storms. It was wet roadway. You see these stories and they say, well, X number of people have been killed in the wake of a storm. And if you look like if it brings a tree down through a house, okay, but like if somebody's out riding the storm, I don't know, I don't know how you do that correctly. I've always liked noticed it and taken it kind of weird, but I don't know. I don't know how you do it, but a lot of times it'll be like, well, a person had a heart attack like during the storm, well, would they have had that heart attack anyways? Was it caused by this? You know, I don't know. I just saw that story. They're sad stories nonetheless from the text line here, Jim, Jim's getting creative said change a subject, but I'm working on the Gilligan silent theme song version of the current stranded Boeing Starliner astronauts tell you what send that to me. He said, however, there's a happy ending with Musk saving the day yet send that to me, Jim, when you get that worked up and we forget about the the Boeing Starliner and those people that say, it'll be fine. They'll be fine. They got a while up there longer before it gets to be like the making of a movie. Yeah, Jim, I have not. We hadn't talked about that story in two weeks probably. So thanks for bringing that back up says enjoy your enjoy your trip with your daughter bittersweet, but you'll never forget it. As as her, you know, if she an act right, I'm going, I'm going big Alabama when I roll in there to take the stuff in the dorm room, you know that like the dorm today is not the same thing. It didn't just happen overnight. I know. I mean, it was happening back in the late late 80s into the night when I went 1990 to a student student at the University of Alabama, you would go to try to get to girls apartments for many reasons, but they always had like nice stuff and matching stuff and, you know, they're had comforters and stuff that weren't, you know, they weren't sleeping on the teams of the NFL sheets like I was, you know, so but yeah, they it's there's like discussion of my daughter is like matching stuff and pulling together looks and stuff. I'm like, uh, okay. We just have like milk crates and stuff mattress on the floor, but times change dirt digger says we need to remember how we beat Germany. We had more patent tanks against panzer tanks. Yeah. Well, you have patent as commander, but once again, dirt digger, they don't have to. The Russians just throw people at it. You're not a country. The size of Ukraine. And here's a French popping off Wilson troops shut up. Let's do the Olympics, keep the poop out of the sand long enough. There's not enough Ukrainians. They can fight so valiantly, so valiantly, and there's not there. This was from the word go and I had this, you know, uncomfortable position here in the, you know, that's not a hundred percent either way. I believe in the Ukrainians right to defend their sovereignty still do, but tell me how this, this ends, it's going to have to be some kind of piece or Russia will win. Russia's never going to go, well, you taught us it like it's some kind of like movie or sitcom. You know, at the end of it, I'm, I'm glad we learned a lesson there. Thanks Ukraine for teaching me that not do that. I mean, come on. It's not happening. Um, also, what do you think about this? Do you think they're screaming that the Harris campaign right now that this is going to be Kamala Harris's economy, she takes, takes the mantle as the candidate in the economy, the wheels come, come off of it. Who knows what happens tomorrow? Right now, it's just been a day, it's been a heck of a day down a thousand, I think. Yeah. Right now, down a thousand sixty seven forty six, S&P down a hundred and seventy three four eight and NASDAQ down six hundred and sixty nine six eight. Gold's down. Oil is down. All right. Seventy three, fourteen, a barrel. Okay. Oh, maybe there's a opportunity there. But what is this? I mean, if you, if you look at the two people, how about this? Because you'll, you'll see in some of these polls where they go, well, in independent voters and, you know, do they like Trump more than before it was Biden, uh, and they go down different lists of things and the economy, I don't see, I don't think I saw a poll out there and I don't think it'd be any different for Harris. These are even people that are undecided, but you know, they break down the different issues. The economy, Trump won every one of those polls out there. And with the situation right now, if this gets worse, does this swing some people that were swing voters, undecided voters to go, well, I don't like this, that and the other, um, with Trump, but I mean, look at the economy. So, uh, and Rick will close us out and said, well, I came from very poor family, had to work my way through college, I took whatever somebody would give me at one time. I actually had a pink comforter like I did not have my mom and dad hooked me up with, I didn't have pink comforter, but I had the stuff that I had, you know, like had in high school. Yeah, it slowed me down some when you said, Hey, here's my bedroom. And they're like, is that teams of the NFL sheets? I'm doing it ironically, except we didn't even know how to do things ironically back then. All right. Speaking of football, Paul Feynbaum on the way next, we'll do this all again next week. When I get back, I have some great guest hosts, Cameron Smith is going to be in also Representative Chip Brown, Representative Matt Simpson, both doing guest hosting duties on this show. It'll be kind to the guest host, or at least polite, all right, see y'all soon. Bye. [MUSIC] [BLANK_AUDIO]
