...get a Francis Blister guy and this is episode 1342. I think I've walked to work a mobile Hearthstone podcast and today we're going to look at the 10 gems of perils and paradise. It's one of those things where I'm like ah I know exactly what I'm talking about today and then you know just haven't got my phone out to double check my notes. Oh so disorganized but you know if you've been here a while you know for a while that's how we roll. It's just one of those things you know trying to get kids ready for school trying to get out the door on time never actually getting out the door on time. All those things add up to mean I get out here I push record and I'm like oh yeah haven't done haven't done what I need to let's have a look where we go. This channel here shows me what we're doing. It is yep 1342 and yep 10 hidden paradise gems I mean they're not totally hidden I guess. There's some text here and before we get to into that by the way let's just quickly do a patron thank you. So before the expansion was released people were a bit concerned that this might be Scholarments 2.0. Now what we mean by Scholarments 2.0 is a metagame which is quite combo heavy a lot of turn six kills or earlier and a lot of not very much interaction and of course that kind of thing means aggro has to be good there's no such thing as mid-range control edX. That's what people are concerned about. I don't know that that's necessarily a bad thing it wasn't just Scholarments also people were saying Stormwind which is even worse it's more combo-y and no interaction. People were very concerned that this set was going to be a lot like that. Fast forward to the release of the expansion and suddenly everyone's calling it rusticuns 2.0. Rusticuns rumble was an expansion which just kind of low impact didn't really feel like it did very much to stand it at all and so it was my guess underwhelming and I don't know when looking at Paris and Paradise I don't see underwhelming. Flavor wise obviously I think the expansion is just so very cool and I can't help but think that part of that is because it's so cold here right now that I'm like oh I don't like this it's just so cold was it oh summer island getaway that's exactly what I want right now not that I can do it or afford it that that's just that's just not how life works right now but would be nice we've been to Fiji once when Mongoose was I think too I remember finally like she wasn't talking very much but she could happily yell Bula to the the hotel staff she walked past them which is a like Fiji and greeting which is rather adorable she doesn't remember it much at all which is a shame but it was a nice it was a nice trip you know spending time by the pool getting out in the paddleboard out in the water oh it was just wonderful so I have good memories of that and then even earlier than that we went to Rara Tonga where we got married which was nice the idea was like do we get married in New Zealand or Australia oh that's a bit tough right like we've got friends but I know why don't we go somewhere neutral further away and you know just those who really want to come will come and we invited around 30 people I think and expected 5-10 of them to come along 28 of them came along whoops but that was fun that was nice and that was also you know kayaking in the in the lagoon and just enjoying it and getting caught in tropical rain showers wonderful stuff so when I see perils and paradise I'm like oh yes yes some more of that please would be lovely I don't know people think it's rustic sounds rumble but I also see that there's a bunch of strong cards in there I keep coming back to concierge druid myself it's probably the best deck I don't know maybe we'll get a nerf soon oh by the way really happy that they didn't nerf anything right out of the gate otherwise like lamp light road might have been nerfed and that's not even remotely the best lamp lighted deck right now anyway they've waited a while we assume we'll probably get some nerfs at some point soon and I'm guessing concierge druid is going to have a tap on the shoulder is excuse me can you step into my office that kind of thing I really have been enjoying that deck I played I played various other decks actually I've tried a lot of different stuff especially in the new month but every time I lose to concierge druid I'm like oh but I want to be playing that and I go back to playing that which is pretty fun I'm not gonna lie do enjoy it but I thought I'd do a quick trip through the client last night looking at the perils and paradise cards and see you know if there are any standouts to me any cards that were worth talking about as you know not being rustic hands 2.0 because there's a bunch of stuff that is impactful and is worth playing some people say if we're still playing hand buff paladin or plague death knight or excavate rogue something's gone wrong I don't think that's necessarily true right like I don't want each new expansion to completely invalidate strategies of the previous one like people should still be able to play excavate rogue and enjoy if they want I have played it is fun like it should still be a valid strategy expansions should add to existing strategies and create new ones but not invalidate old ones anyway let's see what we've got here first card on my list apparently oh I'm looking at my screenshots I can see that I unlocked my golden gorgon zoom movie last night happy about that and I don't want to delete the photo gosh alright first up is dreadhound handler from death knight now I've played a bit of this there was a frost unholy deck from funky monkey you know when it comes from funky monkey it is both funky a little out there but I think I won the first three games of beta then lost two more but that's alright positive win right I so I played that in there I've also played it in rainbow death knight dreadhound handler is the common 2-2 rush pirate undead death rattle summoner 1-1 dreadhound with reborn that's really sticky and rush is really strong like you can look at this and go is it that good is it better than mining casualties I kind of think it is now mining casualties is 2-1 once for 2 mana and they just rattle into you know those ghouls that die with charge so that means you know if you start to turn with a couple of mining casualties and play you get to trade them in trade the ghouls and there's a lot of value going on those just those one drops that you got for 2 mana so it's a very strong cut some of the best things you can do as a death knight on turn 2 is play mining casualties but dreadhound handler may be even better rush on turn 2 may not get much use out of it but this thing attacks immediately and that can't be overstated how strong there is and then you get well effectively 2-1 ones but they're stapled together so there's just so many corpses piled up into this card that it's just a strong way to generate courses strong way to hold boards strong way to just create pressure it's excellent excellent card really impressed with this one next up we have sleep under the stars looked too expensive when we saw it revealed but this druid epic spell 7 mana choose thrice and let's face it thrice is just such a lovely word here choose thrice draw 2 cards game 5 I'm refreshed 3 mana crystals it's arcane I have these in epic and I've played them I've really enjoyed this card 7 mana seems like a lot but unless your hand is totally empty I mean not totally empty you know what I mean 2 cards 3 cards you're not drawing 6 cards with this you are probably drawing 4 cards and refreshing 3 mana crystals which means effectively you're only spending 4 mana to draw 4 cards and that's a great deal and sometimes you're like okay you know what I actually need to refresh in the mana crystal let's just have 5 armor as well and my opponent's like oh I thought I was gonna get them but I think they're gonna get me and the ability to draw some cards through so you've got more sea breeze chalices or whatever else and conciergeous spoiler alert for cards coming up I'm gonna talk about you know it just it just finds you everything and gives you everything you need it's just great like I don't want them to nerf this wouldn't surprise me if one day they're like let's tack a mana onto that actually it can be 8 mana I don't think it needs to be nerfed it feels really good to play I think you definitely don't make it 6 mana at any point you know what I mean it's a great card right next up we have trusty fishing rod this is a hunter weapon common 3 mana 1 2 after you hero attack someone in 1 cost minion from your deck now hunt is not doing great right now and is that a problem I mean if you said easy it must be clearly and hunter fans are probably not feeling it but hunter has been great for a long time Reno hunter in particular is very strong we've had a lot of great hunter build secret hunter I'm sure hunter will get better again but right now it's not turning to be great but trusty fishing rod is an excellent weapon in the hunter deck but also I guess more importantly in pre-stacks because chill and vol'jin allows them to play this and it's just pulling out like their little the clergy that they can heal it's pulling out all kinds of like the ships Georgian they're just really happy to be pulling things I mean I guess you probably don't want to pull out a gift wrap well but quite frankly a three mana 1 2 weapon that pulls a 2 1 into place is not bad either nice little weapon that's really just finding a place there both in hunter and in priest next up we have go with the flowness is a car and I very much underestimated in reveal season I was like and not saying it I'm just not saying it is a one mana epic mage spell choose a minion if it's an enemy freeze it if it's friendly give it plus one spell damage now I have used this offensively and defensively a lot I've used this card way more than I expected to the fact that in a druid deck it costs ceraminer if you have a concierge and play really does help the fact that in that concierge druid list if you're playing a magical doll house shatter to our reveals we're always paying to workshop you can have a couple copies of this and it being free just to have extra spell damage on that big combo turn it's just it's a lot bigger than it looks not to mention if you have no use for a year you're not ready to combo just freeze a big minion stall it's great I mean even with mr. vista you know haven't played mr. vista and so you've got the over the next three turns spells you play repeat yeah it's right grace freeze one of your things and then you know come the mr. vista turn either you freeze something else or or you get you get plus one spell damage on a minion you haven't played like all right gravy this thing just works out really well I shouldn't have underestimated a one mana spell I should never underestimate a one mana spell those things are my favorite now next up another made spell seabreeze cellus we talked about this in reveal season it's the one mana common it's a drink deal two damage randomly split amongst all enemies three drinks left is frost and I talked about how two damage randomly split it's just way too low for anything meaningful arcane missiles is three and we don't play it but sometimes we generate it and sometimes it does things but I conceded that you know well if you play all three drinks that's six damage randomly split and then it starts to do better things and at no point during that was I thinking about concierge and probably I should have been because when you can play this with concierge it gets a lot better when you can play this with spell damage it gets a lot a lot better I have definitely killed people with seabreeze cellus a lot this expansion and I felt very good about it it's been fantastic just a couple of magical dollhouses a bottomless toy chest is the card I'm thinking of that was finding extra copies magical dollhouses the other one I'm thinking of also still shout out star reveal from wizbangs workshop we are the magical dollhouse extra spell damage your your little cheer drakes extra spell damage go with the flow extra spell damage when you suddenly have seabreeze cellus doing five or six damage three times like that adds up a lot and if you have a concierge in place or it's all zero mana oh it's gross but gross in a way I like the number of times I've managed to defeat control warriors look should probably not cross here let's wait I was about to cross but the the pedestrian crossing bit had just changed and then the garbage structures came around the corner tried to take me out so we'll wait we'll wait for an extra cycle of lights seabreeze cell is way more powerful than I expected because I guess spell damage is more predominant than I expected in druid at least like seabreeze cellus is seeing playing as a mage I haven't really had a chance to play it much a mage but it costs one in mage so much mana so much to be paying one for it I pay one for seabreeze cellus and druid as well like I just use it now clear out some minions and then I would use a tightball pupil to get a bag beautiful seabreeze cellus over performed in my expectation I'm really impressed with it next card brain misuse this is a priest one mana two four undead pirate of all things whenever this minion takes damage also deal that much damage to your hero I mean a one mana two four that's that's excellent right now you're taking some damage or whatever priest can deal with that they can heal themselves or or in some cases they can just attack you so hard that they don't care like in wild in particular this is pulling out patches it's putting a parachute bringing in play from your hand like it's adding up to a heck of a lot of damage I've faced a lot more of these than I've played them in fact I haven't played very many at all but I've faced a lot of them both in standard and in wild and it's it's pretty nasty this is an incredibly effective pile of stats it sure looked like it when we looked at it it's just one of those things where you see it in application practically coming across the board you're like oh yeah yikes tightball pupil is next as you can see we're up to neutral cards this is the one mana two on naga if you've played three spells while holding this discover one of them it's a very strong card very strong card now I have never succumbed to playing it on turn one like if you get in your hand you haven't got any other business to do just playing it it's probably the correct place sometimes I haven't been able to bring myself to do it I'm just too combo oriented I want to I want to use it to have extra swipes or seabreeze chalices and things later I'm just so greedy but it's such a powerful little card I've seen control warrior running it as well little ubiquitous thing this is one where I'm not I wouldn't be surprised if it became a one one at some point but also maybe it's just great here it is I love that card next up of course come to you as you've talked about a lot already this is the common 30034 neutral pirate your cards from another class cost one less so clearly you have to be touristing or discovering from another class and then costing one less is it's not nothing it's not a lot but it doesn't seem to add up but of course when you've got a lot of drinks that cost one mana so druid playing the mage drinks rogue playing the pellet and drinks how that one goes I think it is or maybe it's the other way around anyway hunter playing the warrior drinks a lot of cheap drinks can happen very quickly with concierge and it's very strong I think the biggest culprit is of course seabreeze chalice with the predominance of spell damage available around that but this card has really overperformed we saw it in the reveal season we're like nah seems all right we saw it in the theory crafting stream we're like oh oh my that's too powerful and the first two days of the expansion it was like oh maybe it was overblown nonsense we got the Winchester way for all this to blow over but then it turned out the concierge is the best take ever and it's just amazing love it great card guessing it's probably going to get a shoulder tap we shall see next up we have hose and rough house so this is the three mana two four pirate common whenever another friendly pirate attacks give it plus one plus one early on reveal season we were very fortunate to draw this actually my final boss religion wasn't it pretty fortunate to draw the magical dollhouse so that we could swipe to take this and the pirates off the board from the sigil of parachuting sigil skydiving uh this things uh this thing's an absurd little power enabler like both demon hunter and shyman via demon hunter are just making a whole lot of cheap little pirates these days and uh and hose and rough house it makes them not a joke I mean like a bunch of our minds is not a joke but when the rough house it comes down they stop being a joke and they become a very serious legitimate threat this thing is the backbone of those decks it may not look like it but it's uh it's carrying a lot on its shoulders uh last up I think this is the last one year grifter trusted vendor this looked like a meme I didn't even talk about in reveal season four minor four five legendary battle cry discover an amazing amulet to give both players the enemies is a phony so this is a worst version of yours I've played this a bit uh and it has felt underwhelming but I love the fact that this is still seeing play it's just something you can plug into deck and it's really good uh just not spectacular I think it's interesting when you get these cards which are just good value without being concrete towards your game plan but just good value is sometimes good enough as well um and grifter seems to be fitting there and doing well like I'm really pleased that grifter is seeing play now when I went through and picked all these cars to talk about today I think I found like 19 and I did whittle it down to 10 but there's a lot of great cards in this set I was really pleased with playing with a lot of them I don't feel like this is this is rust comes rumble 2.0 at all sure maybe something's could be better something's could be worse but that's always the case I've been really enjoying it anyway where are we we're gonna get into the game we've played some Hearthstone uh I can't remember what's the top of this thing's ever played anymore but it's probably shaman somewhere up there I don't know but uh we're gonna play the evolve shaman that's doing quite well right now it has a he masked uh matching matching outfits that's what it is matching outfits there's only one in here I think I first saw this in a jump rebuild they had two uh but seems like common sense maybe we just play one need to go away from it all oh come to the right place oh you're speaking my magic mate oh anyway um matching outfits on a sea giant matching outfits is uh choose a minion evolves one that costs one more and then some of the copy of it apparently that's only gonna find you a chain guardian I mean two of them I guess and chain guardian is an 8.5 with rush and reborn whoosh that's a pretty good value will we get to do that today I don't know but we are just gonna summon a whole bunch of stuff with any luck we might wave with nostalgia someone ziliax good times for everyone let's see how we go I have been doing some climbing in standard already this month as I said trying a bunch of stuff enjoying some concierge druid when when I suddenly feel like it's where are we diamond ten and two stars I can't even remember what the date is but uh that's some pretty good progress so far so let's view up this evolve challenge see how it feels haven't played it again I always feel like at this point in the journey I'm like I should say that I like to know every card in the day so I like to go to close my eyes on a site 1 to 30 no idea what's in here I can't remember copied it looked at it looked pretty cool upgraded the cookie to golden because I had some dust oh I have a problem it's not like a problem all versus now fury all right it's a druid there are a few different approaches to druid but it's probably concierge right like people are still just playing like the rampy tempo e-type druid as well but I bet this is probably concierge we have an opening hand with ziliax yeah it's a good card but I don't think we want it in their hand a pop-up book also an okay card and murphic murloc growthin we could murloc growthin followed by pop-up book and then ziliax is down to foreman because it's uh it's taking pylon so it's cranking their tunes this morning but like is that enough like oh do we get to keep enough menus to get zili I don't think we do so let's get rid of the pop-up book in the ziliax and just keep the murloc growthin and just see what we can curve into a ziliax off the top it's just gonna be way better than keeping an air in your hand because we keep an air in your hand we have less stuff to curve into and then the ziliax just doesn't even come down we got back a needle rock totem that'll do on turn two and away with nostalgia so this happens to be a druid deck that's putting ziliax into play we're hell we just drew karaoke totem carver it changes every turn it's in our hand currently it's a three-minute three-two it's gonna summon a zero-four jubbox totem by the time we can play out in turn three which I assume we're doing which jammy it'll be something else murloc growth in turn one pass turn so that's a one one and another one one token with rush and of course an eight eight version in our hand which means an eight eight and an eight eight rush nothing from the druid turn one we drew another needle rock totem but let's play the one we had from our mulligan go face for two it's gonna get us to arm and draw a card in turn all righty now the carver totem yep change it in turn so next time we're gonna get a stereo totem so that's the one that busts things in a hand which is nice but we just drew a gorgon's or move off the needle rock totem so we just played that next turn there's a coin splash splash whelp from our opponent well can i cross here no i'd get split away cars although we're playing the gorgon's or move the long the the longer you hold the cheese in hand the better so the sooner we get it there the better we have a needle rock totem in play which we'd like to protect we also just drew a second wave in nostalgia this turn so i think we're trading our two little millocks into that splash splash whelp and playing our gorgon's or move because that way our needle rock totem survives a bit longer and it'll force our opponent to do something from hand to try and take out that needle rock totem otherwise it's going to feed us way too much value so we've just drawn in turn another millock growth in our cheese upgrades the two uh bluesy totem carver is going to sum it on our other side totem next year next year next turn i don't think we need that because we really have a new rock totem in play and another one in hand take to the skies an imaginative old house for the druid this turn so nothing in play all right there's a trusty companion so this is a spell that gives plus two plus three it has a minion type draw another one of that type now we're playing the totem it would draw maybe another needle rock totem but we have that in hand so maybe it does nothing uh if we play it on the dragon do we have any other dragons in the deck i don't even remember is there an amalgam in this deck it may not be safe to play it on anything we play it in the millock growth and uh draw another millock do we have not yet got cookie yeah that may be the play millock and uh trusty companion so that's three manner of the form we have four of this turn so i think what are we doing this turn hmm we could just summon uh delicious cheese it would be three two drops that doesn't seem very good i think we're just maybe not spinning our mana very efficiently so millock growth in trusty companion on it because that'll draw us a cookie there it is and we go face that gorgons we'll move for them to 25 now we've got eight cards in hand we've had to draw another one in turn for many the rock totem i i think theory may have to look out for drawing cards oh there's a sigil sky diving so let's just read wave and nostalgia transform all minions into random legendary ones from the past all right there's a nest matron and another squish bash well this one's been buffed and a using the adult house to play the bottomless toy chest so they're discovering two copies of something they have a four three and a three four can i value trade their minions down and then get value out of a wave and nostalgia not greatly i mean we can we'd still have a three uh three one after trading down to three four with that now one one our three three trades for their four three that we still have a needle rock totem and the three one that'll turn into big legendary minions from the past maybe they'll be big maybe they won't but they have nothing in play and we have another wave and nostalgia in hand if we want so i think that's a totally fine play we also have muckpools which doesn't do much i think muckpools is much better once we have random legendaries in play that we can you know because we're randomizing the cost we could just get something expensive and turn something better as well uh it doesn't look like this much else we can play our totem carver is somebody a jukebox totem not stoked on that i mean i haven't seen any of the totems i like maybe there isn't one i like in here but there probably is so i think we are value trading down the nest matron trading into the well so we still have two minions in play and we just run out wave and nostalgia what do we find nothing with charge very nice we've got a nine seven marigar and a four six purator like those are pretty big stats to have him play on turn five well i apparently have nothing now they have seven mana of course so they might be able to do something soon but we can also wave and nostalgia again next turn but also muckpools can help here like purator is what a five mana minion there's another take to the skies that's three of their seven mana leaving the four left there's an h2mation so they still got four left and a cheer drake so the cheer drake's are four six the nest matron is a four five overall not bad for us there's a backstage bouncer we've got six miles of this turn carefree cookie demon had a tourist after friendly minion dies someone in random minion that costs one more what else we got in hand here totem cover i mean i'm already really looking at the second wave of nostalgia but i can't value trade everything they have down so i think what i should do is be playing the sigil of skydiving and i can wave and nostalgia that next turn or maybe cookie that next turn so sigil the skydiving leaves us four mana left which means i don't know maybe we marigar attacks the nest matron down we just bump into the cheer drake and then backstage bouncer it with the purator maybe what else we could also need a rock totem we've got delicious cheese making four cost minions we can have a full board of legendaries next turn if we just delicious cheese now at least this four mana yeah i don't know i think we can hold the delicious cheese anyway look there's our rope we got to do some stuff so let's do the things i said the sigil of skydiving the bumping into the cheer drake and then turning the purator into two backstage bouncers past intense so we have a nine three marigar that may not last long a couple four five taunts and i have a four two cheer drake their magical dollhouse is ready to be used again they're on 25 we're on 36 there's the magical dollhouse there's a bottomless torch yes i mean that's two of the eight mana spent i like that means they're trying to find something like either they have the answer they want to play like we may as we use this first now let's pay a close attention are they playing either of the two cars they just got from the dollhouse from the toy chest sorry nope the cheer drake cheer drake is awesome spell this they got three spelled image now so they got five mind left and we got a swipe looking as to whether it's one of the cars they got off the bottomless toy chest note it's from over on the left at the hand they're pointing go with the flow at the cheer drake oh still paying attention while trying to get in run over and then another go with the flow and then it looks like they're mousing up one of the cars they got from the toy chest it's a swipe doing eight and five so that kills all my stuff so they have a second swipe in hand that's what we know we also have plus three spell damage and play currently because of their cheer drake and their big cheer drake so we just said do a skydiving a bunch of stuff uh let's see we got seven mana we can we can summoning delicious cheese get five uh three five cost minions then we can wave and nostalgia them we don't need to do that we can probably just play something else we notice they just play there's gogan if the thunder it takes out the two minions uh and heals us and i guess and does it say the the first spell you play each turn cost three less we wouldn't quite have the mana to wave and nostalgia but i think it's still pretty good and we can just delicious cheese we'll have a full board your opponent will have nothing we'll heal for some okay three damage to all enemies and heal six that puts us back up to 30 and just in case they're close to trying to finish us off uh we go face with our three little high rates and then i guess summon three random five cost minions we know they have an extra swipe in hand but their dollhouse is down for them what have we got they got to say amateur puppeteer an ogre ace gang uh was it oga gang ace that's what it is and a sleep skater there's a type called pupil is it going to be a swipe or a go with the flow go with the flow freezes golden if it's pretty good but we have a board of five uh seven minions they clearly want to try it and clear some of it we know they have ace wipe and they have eight mana left so they can probably take out the one ones but i don't know we're pressuring them a lot we also next turn have a milot grophin which is excellent obviously gigantic one uh the innate eight and another eight so whatever they do they're not getting on the board in a hurry we're creating a lot of stats which makes it difficult for the concierge turn to win uh and we're doing all right so there's a swipe on the oga gang ace takes out the pirates and then ace these are the two five puppeteer three three sleep skater and the five six golden if three mile left there's a malchurian's gift doing another swipe maybe you know it's like doing a swipe on the sleep skater doesn't kill anything else so i still have a golden if the thunder and a two four puppeteer or just you know i was gift they're on 19 so golden if there's two abilities left one was the old 20 damage on minion probably hardly worth it for the two untyped pupil over there we're on 28 because we took some splash damage there the other ability is draw how many overload cards three overload cards we have eight cards in hand i mean i guess we could do that the first spell we play each turn is free we could still do a big wave in nostalgia so i kind of just want to play the uh millock growth in eight mana i have eight mana so if we play the growth in we draw three overload cards the worst thing happens is we can't play any spells how we have a handful of cards is that the end of the world i don't think it is now we use gold mr draw three overload cards i bet we don't have that minion deck none apparently well that helps uh eight eight with rush takes out the typool pupil we go faced with the puppeteer they're pushed the opponent to 17 all right they've got five cards in hand their dollhouse is open again in biddly but we have an eight eight and eight six a golden earth with uh one durability left this doll has another bottomless toy chest that's a creator boy on it uh was that by the typool pupil you're created by typool pupils they got another bottomless toy chest and now playing sleep under the stars uh refresh free mana because i'll be playing another sleep under the stars i can't get track first one did uh draw two cards refresh refresh the second one is doing looks like some drawing cards has that what it did i'm walking at the same time i can't even read it in this light anyway there's draw two cards draw two cards draw two cards and then they've got nine cards in hand three mana left i'm guessing they'll refresh yep so now they've got six mana six cards left in the deck if they do a concierge turn this turn it's pretty good but i also have uh let me try and add this up 14 18 23 stats and playing on 128 so i don't think they can do a full concierge kill with only six mana left i mean they can do a lot right they probably still have one cheater no anyway they're doing a go with a flow freezing might eight eight that's what we want to see and a mr vista you should have played the go as a flow first because then it would definitely play mr vista next time but anyway they're on 17 we have 10 attack of stuff and play uh and we have a throws gift discovering bloodlust 10 plus six is not quite lethal do we have anything else in hand that does damage mana tied totem from the totem cover no no we can put them to one next turn which seems reasonable uh clearly we're going to go again if dealing uh a bunch of damage to the mr vista uh that's only if we go bloodlust i don't know if i want to go bloodlust because maybe we could just play another grophin the grophin adds so many stats to the board that it makes it hard for them to do a concierge turn i think i like that better so face rate with our existing grophin another grophin golden f does 20 to the mr vista so our our grophin stays live puppeteer goes face 2.7 and i think we just play the muckpools and we change this two four puppeteer into something bigger because it's a five drop it's a two seven taunt i mean that's more stats so we're gonna heck of a lot of stats and play in case they try to concierge turn and they're on seven i feel like this is a pretty good spot to be in but you never know like there's this five cards left in the deck are they playing another sleep under the stars drawing two cards so they must have magical dollhouse for that when you're drawing two cards now you you're dead i think that drew two cards refresh three mana crystals it's it's when i say i think they did they could still pull off a concierge turn but i think they've used too many go with the flows too many cheer drakes early and too many magical dollhouses they don't have it there's a cheer drake that leaves them five mana left it drew them a spell if you're drawing a spell at that point i think that's not good for you you need that needed to be spell damage even though four amount of spell damage is not great but it needs to be like spell damage drakes little spell damage drake concierge i then go to town and i don't think they have it anyway here's a little one it's also drawing them a spell they've got one card left in the deck four mana left here's a concierge are they about to pull it off they've got no plus spell damage yet seabreeze chiles for two that hits two of my eight eights that's not great another one for two this is really not good for them at all uh that's just randomly hitting my minions there's a gift rep wealth uh they're not there's a fire-setting sun it's pretty good it heals them for a bit and puts stuff in the way another seabreeze chiles which you don't want seabreeze chiles is to deal with two damage they're doing them they're playing both seabreeze chiles is their ropes almost burnt out but just randomly two damage to everything is not going to cut it you're on seven uh the fire setting sun probably no they're conceding fire the setting sun would attack into my two six now taunt and heal them for five i could then probably attack and do it with a single eight eight healing them for another five puts them for seventeen but then i have two more eight eights uh and an eight six and like i'm pretty sure i have lethal not to mention i have a bunch of minions in play and we know we have a trial skip with bloodlust in hand so they weren't getting out of that one scottfried all there's a train it's pretty full we can wait for the next one so that works just nicely for us that puts us diamonds that we went to start the puts with diamond nine and one star now i believe nice all right now this kind of deck is not the kind of deck that i usually like to play but uh that works quite nicely and we'll take it i'll probably still play some more concierge droid but like it's nice to see uh the concierge droid match up from the other side of the table and know that it's uh very bedible with the stick and maybe that's why this deck is doing so well so that concierge droid is so popular and you can just generate so many stats now the thing is of course concierge droid can kill you on turn six i've done it i've been on the receiving end of it and you're like i'm not even mad like all it takes is like cheer drake on four uh you know it's drawing you a spell because you're gonna want some spells and then on like six monies like concierge for three mana uh little cheer drake for one mana and there's two one on the left like what is it going to be like is it going to be a tight pool people on one of the seabreeze chalices you just played a magical dollhouse like magical dollhouse that even if you haven't played it ahead of time you probably would but let's say you're playing it this turn and you're playing the cheer drake that's plus two spell damage i go with the flow nakar zero mana if you have that and like you've been drawing spells uh so now you're at plus three spell damage the first of the seabreeze chalices does five damage randomly amongst all enemies then if you've played enough spells you can play a type or pupil and it'll just give you another three drink seabreeze chalice and so now this turn you're going to be playing a total of six five damage seabreeze chalices that's 30 30 damage right there alone and that's with nothing else and that's assuming you played a cheer drake a three five cheer drake in the turns earlier you may even have incidental damage in play so even if you don't win there on turn six your opponent has nothing in play and it's probably on three health or something like oh it's gross but it doesn't always do that right it doesn't always get that draw so uh it's it's a strong deck that can go a few different ways but anyway i think it's time for me to sign off what's my wife's trying to call me that's awkward i think she knows i'm trying to record and we're about to
