It's the day that Paul Joyce decided to send out a tweet and make everybody happy. On behalf and with me, I have actually to talk through this later on in the show, I'm going to tell you all about the fancy football Premier League thing that Phil has gone that I want you all to join because you can win loads of money and your health charity. I'm going to talk to you about air charities as well. And anything else that comes up in the chat, throw her in, I'll put a little stab. You saw the cool ones, and I'll read them all out at the end. Ashley, we done a show last night, and we were banging on about male failures, and we were like, "Varela, Ersen, Zubermendi, love Spain, doesn't want to live, bump, bump, bump, bump." And then Paul Joyce just takes the world in the pan of his hand, like God, and says, "Lads, they're going in for this, they're going for it." We're going to get to the stats in this guy later, because I've decided to look into him a little bit more because I've heard he might want to come to Liverpool. It's such an exciting sign. Any signing at this point would be exciting, but this is like a top tier signing, absolutely. This is the kind of guy that gets you excited for what's to come, because I really do think he could be that missing puzzle piece for us. He, when we were talking about types of midfielders and stuff like that, and I was saying to you before we come on, Zuberm, when it comes to watching football, I watch Liverpool and anything that happens to be on the TV. I don't search for football, I just don't, I'd rather watch golf. But I was saying, I'd seen Zuberm in a couple of times, nothing major, probably three, right? And then I seen him come on in the Euros. And in the Euros final, in particular, the guy who's a Ruiz was playing beside Rogery. Is that his name, Ruiz? The guy, the midfield, it's something like that. He was playing with Rogery in the final, anyway. I thought he was having quite a poor game. And then Rogery went off a half time. All right, and this guy, Zubermendi, comes on and, geez, that's a big Miss Rogery. And then by the end of what he was thinking, geez, he didn't really miss Rogery. That guy was really, really impressive. He broke up play, he passed it well on the pressure, he moved the ball, he gave options, bum, bum, bum, bum. Really impressive. And then it comes along, Liverpool definitely need a midfield, and we've seen that progress. And he's kind of a standout name. Fans favourite and stuff like that. But when you look at the stats on him, actually, it's actually phenomenal, the stats he has. Like, I'm not a stats man. If I had an X in front of it, I don't want to know. There shouldn't be expected anything in football. Just give us the stats of actually stuff that happened. But his Fabian Ruiz, I was obviously nearly there, wasn't it? His stats, like, I see anything from Neil Atkinson, from the Anfield rapper earlier, doing this thing on him, and showing the stats via stat bomb. And he ran a comparison with Martin Zuber-Mendy against the average Champions League player for 23-24. And I was like, that can't be true. His stats are phenomenal, actually. Yeah, I mean, he's in, like, the 90th percentile-ish in most of the areas that we were talking about needing a midfielder, which, you know, it's not every day that we have sort of, like, a ready-made player that's coming in. And I do actually think that he has plenty of room to grow. I think he has a really high ceiling. But to have that as a foundation is just so exciting. It's like, I'm going to try to get this stuff up here so we can read some material, OK? And before we get into the whole happenings at the moment, right? So, they compare, on stat bomb, they confirm Martin Zuber-Mendy to a Champions League, the average player, right? The average Champions League player all matches, OK? They have five and raised at 24. The average Champions League player at 27. So just let me read some of this out here. Passing 91%, 91% of it, right? Pressure passed 91% of it, right? Deep progressions. Now, he's on a 50% of it. He's lower than the average, right? But that seems to be running from deep with the ball. Not concerned about that. I'm no problem. Turnovers 98% of it, right? He has dribbled successfully defended 97% of it, right? Compared to 51% in the average in the Champions League, right? He has ball recoveries 84% of it, right? Pressure regains 70% of it. Opposition half, ball recoveries 98% of it. Aerial wins 98%. Is this going to be fucking seven-fold tall? No, he's 5'11", which I think is probably the most striking part about that stat. It's ridiculous. And when you look at it, like, those big numbers there, but then when you actually look at the average going off, like you look at ball recoveries 84, right? OK? 84% of it, he has an average of 11.69 ball recoveries compared to 8.14 as the average, right? Just the numbers are bananas, like, absolutely bananas. But let's get into the happens of the day, because I joked about Paul Joyce area. And Paul Joyce came out this morning, and he's the only one I really listened to. And he just said Liverpool are looking into the soil, and possible soil, are mountain zoo amenity from the real social data. And immediately, everyone went, now, he wants to stay in Spain. He's torn down, and he's torn down by us alone. Now, Charlie made a good point to me where he said, lads, I don't think he torn down on other them. I think Paul closed, probably looked at them, and said, we can put 60 million euros on the table, like that, but we can't. Liverpool looks like they can, right? Now, the rumor is that Liverpool are actually trying to pay a little bit over that 60 million euro in order to pay installments. But if they can't get a day without social data, they'll end up just activating the 60 million. That's what the rumor is. But that's where it started, and people got really excited. When you've seen that, what are you thinking, oh, yeah, I'll have some of this? Are you thinking, nah, he wants to stay in Spain. I'm going to go on whatever I heard before. - I mean, when he tweets, you listen. I think that's the kind of thing. So often, when he comes out with information, you know that the club is two or three steps ahead of that information. And, I mean, we could be proven wrong. I don't want to put the cart before the horse in this situation, but I got excited. It was the first thing that I saw this morning because I'm a few hours behind you. So waking up to that news was really exciting 'cause, I mean, this whole summer has just been like, when will he speak? And then he did, so that was great. - They're always waiting on them. They're always waiting on Paul Joyce Paul. It progressed on then to talk of, you know, nothing on the rail sold you that end and I was, and you know what, when I actually got a little bit more confident on this, and look, it's not a done deal by any means, but my confidence never rose when I heard that because I thought, well, Liverpool are probably going into this deal, I might listen. We're doing this deal with you. If anyone asks you anything, you've confirmed nothing. This between us, this is how we walk and the story. And now it's progressed this evening to basically, rumours coming out of the sold you that end saying, you know, they're resigned to losing Matt and Zuba Mendy and then for the report saying, Matt and Zuba Mendy has told rail associate that he will accept a move to Liverpool. Couple of people in the chat have mentioned Richard Joes, mentioned down in the slot, and this is a big deal for them, isn't it? 'Cause it's a forced deal. And it would have been very easy to win and find somebody, I'm not saying in midfield sensible, to go in and say, right, let's bring in a steady player somewhere to add to the squad and that's our forced coin to signing and that gets the ball rolling, but they looked like they're going in Coi big on this. They haven't messed about, you know, when I say that, I know people are going to go, what do you mean they haven't messed about? It's a fucking seventh of August, then you haven't done anything. What I mean is when it comes to making your forced signing, they haven't messed around in the quality of it. It's a really big sign in midfield because looking at Liverpool over the pre-season, I feel this could be like a real coin that Matt are signing for Liverpool and what slot wants to do for the next year, two, three, four, four, five years, wherever it might be, it's impressive to get this done. Yeah, I mean, I think there's a few things going on. I mean, obviously they want a statement signing to kick things off, but I think Hughes actually is playing a bigger role in this than we might know. You know, apparently he's very well connected with Zuma Mundi's agent, who is also the same agent that represents Areola at Formith. So he was the guy that kind of made that deal happen. So I think there might actually be some backroom kind of connections there that might be helping that maybe Arsenal didn't have that. I mean, the other thing with Arsenal is I don't know if they can guarantee him the kind of nailed down starting role that we can. So I mean, it would be a big deal. If they get this over the line, it's not just a big deal because of the name. I think it's a big deal because of how pivotal it'll be to his system going forward because this guy seems like he's sort of like the brains behind the operation. At least that's my impression of him. And I think that if you can get that one right, then everything else sort of feeds off of it. And we have a lot of missing pieces, or not a lot of missing pieces. We have a lot of pieces currently that I think come together with a player like him in the middle. Yeah. Part one point is, Kev. Arsenal deal for Mica Moreno has stalled. Sociedad won't want to lose them both. Plus, they saw a lot of sewage from salts, but we were talking about this just before we come on. And we were saying, you know, when we were talking about Arsenal, I'm not being able to put that money down for Zubermendi. They may get an easier deal with Mica Moreno. And that was being linked about a week ago. That would look like it was progressing really nicely. Liverpool could put a dent in that here by going in and going, "Listen, Arsenal couldn't take Zubermendi, "and they haven't got the money to deal with. "They may have the money to do Mica Moreno, "but we're going to do Zubermendi now." And that means that Sociedad's going around and going, "Right, we've brought in sewage, we're losing Zubermendi, "we're only going to lose one, "and now we're just not selling Mica Moreno." And again, that's important for Liverpool to do, because, you know, how everyone's going to react if Arsenal gone and saw him make a Moreno last week. And Liverpool inquired about man Zubermendi, and I told, "No, we're not losing both this summer yet here late." So it's important that Liverpool get this done, isn't it? If they want it, it's important to go and get this done really quickly, because otherwise, Arsenal could come back and go, "Right, we'll offer you a more money for Moreno. "We can't reach Zubermendi, "but we offer you more for Moreno." And Sociedad could turn around and go, "Right, there's actually more value in the sale of Moreno, "a reduced price and keeping Zubermendi." So it's important we get this done. - Yeah, I mean, and it's the kind of like savvy backroom business that we associate with Michael Edwards. And I think, you know, obviously, he's not the one directly dealing with these transfers, but I think having that kind of energy back in our backroom staff, that excites me. 'Cause I think we've gone far too many seasons in a row now without a real nail down sporting director and plan behind her, our business. And this feels clever. It feels like, you know, we're making a statement and we're kind of moving in front of our direct competitors to get this done. - Yep, you know, like, I think it shows like the state Liverpool are in front actually, how secure they are and how much they have, how much they're inside of this PSR ruling or whatever it might be, because if it is the case Liverpool have to put down 60 million euros upfront, you know, in a deal like this, in a normal 60 million euro deal, you will be saying to the club, we'll take that player and we pay you, you know, 12 million a year over his five years, and that's your 60 million. But for Liverpool to be able to come in and do something like this, it shows the financial strength they are, the strong position they are in financially. And again, people will say, you know, our cars do, we'd spend nothing but just simply that show. But just talking about in this team, you know, you've watched all the pre-season and I don't really go beyond pre-season because it was like you're in clubs with doing certain things and midfielders had different responsibilities and different ways of playing and we heard this from Coach Jones, you know, right off the bat and how teams are different and we're going to look at midfield more as it's more of creative hub rather than a functional. And you've watched all the pre-season, I've watched all the pre-season a lot of people have and a lot of people have come off the back of it saying, really impressive, really look what he's trying to do, gives you a heart attack every so often. But overall, you know, we probably need someone that's going to go in and dictate airplay in midfield. And not dictate where he's going to spray balls all over the place, just dictate it in a way of where the center half has it, a full back has it, wherever it might be, get it to me and I will make a walk. I would get all these other players into the game. I would get us up the pitch, I would get us into space and surely be all felt after these couple of pre-season games. It was the standout team, wasn't it? - Yeah, I mean, I think every game, there was always the feeling that the balance was just not quite right. And I'm all for trying different players out in different positions during pre-season. Like, that's always going to happen. But we were always sort of missing that more defensively minded perspective. And I think, you know, we'll talk about Endo probably later. I just don't think it necessarily suited his game, not that he's, you know, a weak option. I just don't think that what slot system is asking of that player fits him. But I do think it fits Zubamendi. I think it, you know, we used the phrase the other night when we were thinking about midfielders of, like, who's going to keep things taking over? And that's what this guy feels like. He feels like he's going to be the one that's taking it over and facilitating for other players. A little bit similar to how McAllister does, how he kind of makes moves for other players to shine. And that's how I, that's the vibe I get from Zubamendi. - Kiran says, "Jesus, it's nice feeling to get a sign in the door. It's good signing." It's not in the door yet. But as I said, we always, we always just walk on what's happening right now. We'd like to talk if the player was at Liverpool. You know, what would he bring? What's the financial deal and stuff like that? We're going off, I'm literally going off. Paul Joyce is the same information. And a little bit coming out of Southsia that, because, you know, when you see stuff, when you see something where it says, no, no bid, and you're kind of going, yeah, they're probably, that's just probably the line. And then it leaks out that they're, you know, they're preparing people for this guy is going to go. You know, the conflict levels goes up, the excitement levels go up and stuff like that. But, you know, again, when I look at this side, I want to look at the team and look what we have. And I just think it's, I just think it's so important what we're doing here. Honestly, you know, when you're looking at Liverpool's midfield over the years, you know, we've shown a spotlight on Liverpool's side. You know, the spotlight will be around the edges of the team. And the team in the middle was kind of in the dark a little bit. It was, it was functional. It was do a job, get it to your fallback, get it to the Salas, get it to your Diaz's, wherever, wherever it might be, and go from there. And we even used our center halves of times to be more productive with the football than we did our center midfielders. Now, that changed a little bit in the clubs last season, because it looks like McAllister was there, Sobbers was there and you should get them on the ball. But they were still, they were still not boy-passed, but they were still on the periphery of the way we played football for me. That's, and I was okay, we were brilliant at it. But when you see what club is doing, the spotlight now for me shines absolutely bang in the middle of that pitch. And absolutely, if you have trained that midfield, I think the spotlight goes right down on top of this guy that's nearest to the center backs. Because if he walks, I think everything walks. And I'm not having to go off end though. I'm not having to go off Jones or Sobbersloy or Graven Birch, I'm telling you who else played deep in those games. But when it worked, okay, when it worked with these players in pre-season and they managed to pass it around the team or just get it out, get it beyond the midfield into the looks of Elliot and whoever was running, we looked front. But if you can make this work on a more regular basis, right, if you can make a work on a more regular basis, all you're doing is giving yourself more chances of winning football games. And I know people will say, you know, we'll dominate the ball, we'll dominate the ball, we'll have teams sitting deep and sort of that. Martin Zuber Mendy knows how to play these games. You know, he plays for a fucking Spain. They dominate the ball 99% at the time. There's not a team of more football to dominate Spain for the ball. So it's not like he's not used to teams that sit back and are a low block as people look at the car. So I just think the way he walks ball on and off the ball is, I just think it's just perfect. Now, if you're in the chat and you like this, the idea of Zuber Mendy, throw it in. If there's anyone else you thought you would like to see, absolutely throw it in there and we'll just go stand as well. 60 million quid, right, or 60 million euros, let's talk 51 million pounds. Let's talk in pounds there and because that's what runs we would like to talk in. It's quite a chunk of change if we're paying a row in one big goal. And as impressive as a sign in it is, does it give you it? Does it worry you that that's 51 million pounds straight out? You know, like if you are signing two players for 60 million pounds or 51 million pounds tomorrow, you will probably be handing out 20 million upfront. You could get two or 20 million because you're going to pay over the contract. Does it worry a little bit that we're going to go in and put 51 million pounds down straight away? And the nice thing about Zubamendi is that he's not on huge wages right now. So, let's just say I have no idea what they're gonna actually put him on, but theoretically, you could put him on 150 and that would be a significant bump from where he is now, 'cause I think it's something like 54. And so, if you can balance out the fee up front with the wages, it works as a package. - And I think the nice thing about FSG, which nobody wants to tell you about, 'cause it's not exciting, but their financial savvy kind of background allows us to make these deals. Like, we are in such a good financial place that unlike some other clubs that might not be able to shell out this kind of chunk of change, we can. Like, this is not gonna dent us in terms of PSR and that is such a powerful place to be in. And I think that's one of the reasons why they've, they've really waited and bided their time to find the right player, because if they are gonna be spending chunks of change like this, they need to nail it down as this is 100% our guy. - Yeah, 100%. It's not like, you know, people, and friends, people have come back to me there. Chris has said we paid 60 million for Saba's like, bum, we paid it. - Yeah. - And I think we don't-- - That's a similar price to him. - Yeah, and then some people have said there, we paid more for newness. Yeah, I think 64 rose in the 84, I think, is it for newness? I'm not too sure we paid the 64 for newness up front. I think it's been reported Liverpool can bid higher to allow them to split the cost. For example, we could pay 70 million, we'll pay 60% up front on the rest, or some other time. Yeah, I think, I think, yeah, really, I think that's probably, if Zuva Mendes totally wants to, as said, he wants to accept the move to Liverpool. It's just, it's looking like a case of, can we do a little bit more than 51 million pounds for over this period of time? Are you gonna insist on the 51 million upfront now? And that's probably where Liverpool are gonna have to book or else, I'll sit down on that as well. Let me see. FSG sold off a portion of the club, the bulk of cash stocks last year, so pass it up. Maybe, that's the case yet. But some, a few people asked about the dog. The dog was over the walk, he's back. Now he's just prowling around the house because he convinces himself, he can see cats, and he just goes bananas. So at some stage, I might need to knock off my camera, knock off the sound, I'm gonna move the dog from the realm because we get endless amounts of them, people giving out about the noise of dogs barking and stuff, stuff like that. Aren't as slow as in this job, six weeks, six-ish weeks, realistically. And, you know, you want to see a manager backed, you want to see a plan coming together and you want to see them, you know, we saw in two 20 million young players you're gonna go already, backing them enough. You want to see them backed. It's very good for him, isn't it? On a couple of levels, if he gets this player, he's getting a really, really good player. That's one, and two, the fact that himself and use of command and said in constant contact, or constantly looking at things, constantly assessing the whole July-August team, which, you know, that's gone on, but to see it, to see it progress like this to this now. It's a real, it's a statement that thing for Richard Juice. I think it's a statement for Anna Slott. I think it's a statement for Liverpool that, yeah, we've lost, you know, possibly the best manager we've had since Bob Hasely, but we're still Liverpool, we're still gone, we still have our targets, we still have our ambitions and we're gonna show it, you know. It's a real big thing for a couple of people at this club, not only the player I'm moving, it's a big thing for a number of people at this club. - Yeah, I think if it gets over the line, I think it takes a lot of pressure off of Hughes, because I think between the contract situation, which is sort of hovering, which hasn't gone away, and the lack of signings. I think, I don't know, I was sitting here wondering, is he up to the job? Like, is the jump from Bournemouth gonna be too big for him? Is his, you know, supposed contact list as great as everyone says it is? If he can get this across the line, it feels very much like, you know, his sort of flag in the ground, establishing what he's all about, because as much as we do have Michael Edwards through the door, I wanna know what Hughes is about, and I wanna know if he can carry that mantle. I don't want everyone to keep referring back to Michael Edwards as if this is his deal. I want this to be Hughes's deal, and I want him to kind of like, set us off on our new next chapter. - Hmm, Sam says something here, and then Jeddies says something soon after, and I think it's a rhythm, both. Sam says, getting Superman descends a statement to the rest of Europe, in my opinion, shown it's not a club factor anymore, but we are Liverpool, one of the biggest clubs in the world. And then Jeddie backs it up and says, "It'll be a great look for slot and use." They can get these players, it won't be a soft signing, like in the licks of Wieffer, from Foyanard, and I think they're about really good points, you know? - Definitely. - You know, at the end of the land season, you've heard people, and I mostly idiots, they say, "Look, our club has gone, Liverpool are finished, "they won't do it, they'll finish eight." And look, people love to just say eight, don't they? It's like, how many places do you get in Europe? I think it might be seven, they'll finish eight, you know, and they just do this thing. But I honestly believe it's a big thing for Anisla. It's a big thing for the team that we're gonna go in, and we're gonna put somebody in there, and we're gonna go, "Look, this fella is the business. "We're gonna put him in here and say to all of the midfielders "and your full backs and your centre backs." Give him the ball. Doesn't matter where you are, just give him the ball, 'cause he's that sort of player. You know, when you watch him, give him a tight basis, he might ping a back to you, he might hold it, he might turn, he might play something. He's so comfortable in what he does, and after ball, we've read of some of the stats after ball, winning the ball, winning the ball, and our positions have, you know, he's right up there as well. I just, I'm so, so excited by this, and it takes the, just by looking at the preseason, it takes some of the other worries in the team away from me. You know, I'm not saying we should stop there and go, so I just felt it at the end of it, let's go, roll on the 17th of August or whatever it is. I'm not saying that, but I just, like I said earlier, it was such a big thing in those preseason games where I just went, that's where he needs to do it. That's where he, I know we're talking centrehouse, and maybe a forward goes, and maybe one comes in, a Anthony Gordon, all these sort of things. But if you do that, I think it's a massive, massive step and so. If we get him in quick, if we get him in quick, if this happens, we're currently on Wednesday. If we were to get this done towards the Freudi, I don't think you're going to see him on, as a Saturday or Sunday at Amfield, where we're playing about 11 games at Amfield at the weekend, and against everybody. But I don't think you're going to see him then, and then you have a week until the season starts. Is it the sort of thing that you got him in now? You probably don't see him. You probably don't even see him on the fourth week of the Premier League season. - I mean, I think Scott has priors for holding players back until he feels like they're ready, very similar to how Clop held back Fabinho. But it's not like he is coming off of a summer with no activity, like he just came out of the Euros. I'm sure fitness-wise, he's fine. I think it's just going to be about adapting to the style and things like that. So I don't know if it's going to be like a three month thing like Fabinho, but I think we'll probably see a little bits of him, maybe in early in the season. But I don't think it'll be that far off. He feels so integral to the way that it works. I think it would be something that would no pun intended slot right in very quickly. - Yeah. Parade him with the number six short, says Jerry. Well, Sharnia, I know once I'm in the number 14 short for Javi Alonso, Voibs, I'm completely and utterly behind. Mr. Mauser says, most of the fourth league home game, I'm absolutely all up for that as well, 'cause I'm at that. So I'm quite happy to go on my two women in this debut. Let me see. Andi, let me see. Andi says, I love how the following, I think is what the words you are looking for there, Andi. The sporting directors used with a black book and Spanish tone. Yeah, he is just wandering around Spain, I don't listen, I'm the bizzle. On gorgeous, I look fantastic. Just give me that player over there and we'll move on. Midnight says slot needed to learn more type of player he will need before we made any meals. The fact that there was so many away did not help the issue. Now he knows and we've made our move with more to follow, he feels. He or she feels I'm not usual if Midnight Toker has made our famous. Let me see. He is supposedly told to embarrass a boy in Iceland, you know he didn't do that. But I haven't heard the boring or the annoyed stuff. I did hear Iceland embarrass her, but I knew Barren's couldn't afford it. If you have to pay that money from Barren's, just couldn't afford it. And embarrassing have looked at him and being told 51 million pounds upfront. Iceland probably looked at him and we can't do that. If we want to add one or two more, they've had a calify ory and they probably had another one after that as well. Maybe ours, but I don't think it's a case of them toning down. You know, I think it's more a case of dares, no price and did and the clothes went. No, bit of a stretch. I didn't know anything about, you know it. Look at him and I didn't know anything about Barren. But listen, that's me. I don't read up on players and where they're meant to go every day of the week. Let me see. Jerry says, "Does a former fan channel interview with you was on YouTube?" I mean, we try to link in Jerry. Really wanted to listen. Seems a really smart, genuine person. And some quotes from actually your tournament, thanks to you. This is from Javi Alonso. Marren's a player of all cultures would want. He's generous. He always thinks more about his teammates than himself. He has the ability to generate play, to make those around and better. Always offering solutions to improve the milve. I'm gonna read as many comments as I can before we finish. But while I have his all here, in the description is a charity fundraiser for 2024. It's for fans upon field banks. It's for the lawyers. There's a go for me link there. If you want to make a donation to all of those charities, the two charities, a one in Dublin, a one in Liverpool that help people live, they are struggling to make ends, me struggling to fulfill them at the table. And we're trying to help them. We're raising $4,000 for each of those. So we're targeting 10,000 euros. If you can donate, please deal. If you can't send it to your friends, your family, your colleagues and work, your WhatsApp groups, wherever I'm going to be, please deal with that. The second thing in the show description is fail is running. Everyone loves this Premier League, fancy football. Everyone loves it. Everyone says, "Nah, I'm at the end of this year," and then they're banging into it. Four days before the Premier League starts or ignoring all the family, well, Detroit spent that $150 million quid properly or whatever you get. So what Phil has done, he's organized a league. It's going to be a private league. It's 20 euros to enter. If you enter with 20 euros, 10 euros of your money goes towards the price. 10 euros goes towards the Laurel Inn Hospice, which is a children's hospice here in Dublin. It's a brilliant, brilliant charity. This is the common soil rally. It's going to mad, cycle and swim and kayak and running up hills. Stuff Phil is doing. He's doing four of his videos, which is like Iron Man. Looked four of Iron Man things throughout the year. So this is why he set this up. So when you give your 10 euros to one, 10 euros to the charity, 10 euros to the price one, it's a winner takes all. So if we can get 100 people involved, the charity gets a thousand, and whoever wins gets a thousand euros. So you click the link, it's revenue, you pay the 20 euro to fail. When a process is, you can then send the message to fail with your team name and your email. He will email you then, the link and the code and you're in, okay? Don't give the code to anyone else because it won't work because Phil will be watching all the names. And if your name is, if there's a name in there that hasn't paid, it's just for me, okay? So, but please help us out. We'd love to get 100 people involved in this. Look, we've done leagues before with us 200 and 300 people in it, but we're always free. But 20 quid, you have a chance, like the more people get in, the more chance you have of winning a bigger amount of money. So, please, if you can't do that, the link is there. If you're struggling and you don't use revenue, email us at talkingcob1@gmail.com and we'll send you a PayPal link where you can send us the 20 euro. We would take all your details, give them to Phil and he will send you on them, the league and the code. But it'll be very crack. You know, we'd be updating throughout the season as to where it's gone. And again, it's helping charity. Let me see, let me see. Let me, oh, right, James asks, bit off topic, but on transfers. So, please, we haven't made another pass, a call with, considering the amount we were willing to spend last summer, must be available cheaper now. Or it's just leave a call with a lot of Chelsea. That's just throwing a bit of center half so far as James fair played here. And if Liverpool get super Mendi over the line, you know, the emphasis is going to tone on the center back then, it's not actually like, you know, the only kind of midfield talk might be does end or live or do we lose a midfielder? Because we have zero Mendi coming in, I think the natural thing would be to probably lose a midfielder. That's my opinion. But it's got to travel and center halves then. And we'd probably end up doing shows now in about three days gone. Yeah, zero Mendi's fine, but where's the fucking center half? So, center half was, it's been really, really quick. It's been really quiet from Liverpool as well. But it's been like so quiet about a center back, doesn't it? Yeah, but I mean, at this point, I kind of think that's a good thing. I like that there's no news coming out of the club. I mean, I know it's not great from a fan perspective 'cause it's nice to get little bits off of, you know, the socials, but the fact that it's locked down, that's a good thing from my perspective. Because it's staying behind closed doors where it's meant to be. It means that you have agents that are keeping their mouth shut. It means that you have players that, you know, aren't blabbing to their friends or whatever. So, I'm glad that it's quiet. But I do think that that's naturally where our attention is going to go next. Kerf says, "Bastoni can't be off the table now." When has "Bastoni ever been on the fucking table?" I think there was a rumor yesterday. Oh, is that what we're going off yet? Please tell me, please tell me. Please tell me that people haven't read "Indecoila" on Twitter. Saying, "Bastoni, I just have ramen with this, please." Tell me, someone else has said this other than this boy. Like, you realize that's a sadder account. - Someone in the chat's going to have to let us know if there's anyone reputable that has actually put that name next to themselves. - Well, Robert McGuire says, "Realm will mail," says William from "Bastoni." Well, who's in the mail? Who is running the mail? Let me know, Robert. If you say "Indecoila," like, literally, I have to stop talking to you. Meghan says, "We'll love Bastoni, a brilliant player, Oylo, Bastoni." I have to say, I thought he was really impressive or really in the "Oros." Was it him that got suspended before he played Switzerland at the "Orosa" was a califiori? I'm not, well, one of them. And they looked horrendous at the back. - I think it was califiori. - Was it? Yeah. Paul asks, "Zubermendi happening. It looks like a pop. It absolutely looks like it." Jerry says it was, "Indecoila" has started the "Bastoni" one. Oh, fucking hell. Jesus Christ. "Indecoila" is where it's coming from. Okay, we'll see. We'll see. Listen, there's nothing, nothing reliable on Bastoni. Chris Bracks says, "It's all the crack gov, let us have some fun." You do whatever you look. I'm not stopping you. But I have to write the "Torna" and go, "Lads." He's reading fucking satire accounts on Twitter and taking it as gospel. I'm allowed to say it, actually. But like I said, it's, you know, it's gone very quite in the center halves. And maybe Liverpool have looked them and are going to do this one. And, but it feels like it's getting a bit late. You know, like, we're under seven, the Vargas now. And it's not late that it was soil and don't get me around. There's still 20 tree out there as possibly 24 until the window shuts. And, you know, it's absolutely possible Liverpool do a center back. But I'm getting, I'm getting this feeling more and more that van Dijk canate gone as quancy. I think that might be the 40 goals. - It's possible. I mean, you could even get people arguing for Seth to stay. You know, I'm not necessarily standing and championing him, but, you know, there are people out there that think that's an option. But I wouldn't, I wouldn't read too much into it. I think what we're seeing right now is a lot of dominoes falling all of a sudden. Like the whole Chelsea, like everything that Chelsea is driving right now with Connor Gallagher and then that going, you know, and Alvarez, all of these things that have been basically happening the last 48 hours. So it's not surprising that our moods are kind of happening now as well. I also wouldn't be surprised if we get a couple of transfers right in a row, 'cause the club has done that before. - Yes. - Jada and... - If you announced it. - Jago, yep. - So, yeah, it's all up in the air. We're just speculating. There's literally nothing for us to go off of that's solid here. - No. Limping Monkey says, "Indicoy, let us satter our question, Mack." Yes, guys making too much money to not have people feeding him something that... (laughs) Not to really believe that rumor the girl is making Samo Jada. Indicoyler, right? The original Indicoyler does not own the account anymore, sold the account to somebody else, right? And that person took it on, right? And literally has actually opened its game, right, in the satter of stuff. Like, you know, like, look stuff like... Arsenal fans, make sure you're here at a fucking half-eleven at night on a Monday of big news here. And then he just throws an image at you, like, and people go, "Wha?" And this is the world we live in now. Like, the amount of people that, you know, if you put 20 people off Twitter onto that tweet, trade 'em or go, he's having a great time, that's what it is. And seven of the year ago, he's... Look, he knows what's happening. This guy literally knows the ins and outs of every Premier League club. And the thing is, he sits on, you know, then he sits on Liverpool. 'Cause he knows, boom, they get the traction, and they wear a slumber ball, they get the traction. He's brilliant at it. Look, I'm not having a guy with the guy. I think he's fucking brilliant at it. He's making good money off it. He's probably making huge money off it. He's about a quarter of a million followers. He's probably... - Yeah, I'm not gonna record it as you, like... - But this is the guy... - Working the system. - 100%. This is the guy that uses the tweet and go "I've just come out of a meeting with FSG in London." And after a chat about that transfer of business, the focus made me pay the bills, sort of stuff. And people go, "Indecoil, I was talking to FSG." I was, "Jesus Christ." - Yeah, he's one of the OGs, though. Whether it's a new guy that's running the account or anything. Like, the fact... - I know, he owns it years. No, he owns it years. He does own it years. The new guy, yeah. - There are people that are then parodying him, which is great. 'Cause like, there's like a whole second tier of indies that are coming out. So... - Yeah, no, I love him. - I mean, credit credit for him for having a good time with it, because it adds a little bit of entertainment value. - Yeah, and you see, the thing is, you know indie coil is a bit of entertainment value, and I'm absolutely fine with that. I'm absolutely fine with it. On "Bokes is getting in the show. We've already let it get on my bar. I don't think we could afford them. He has 410,000 followers. Onto it. 410,000. And I can guarantee it. 400,000 of them believe every word that he types on a daily basis. And he's like, fair focused on him. Like, and he is what he is. You know what I mean? And he's just brilliant. He's absolutely brilliant at what he does. Bullock on center halves, so, so, cool. Bull, haven't said that. We were sitting here, not 24 hours ago, saying, are we in for the midfielder? Who could it be? And then, bang. And we've gone from 11 o'clock to small, 4 a.m. for you, I think. 4 a.m. for you. 6 a.m. Probably. We've gone from that, to little bit of looking into this, to 10 p.m. at night. It's based at 12 hours. The rare associate, I've gone. Yeah. What kind of world it looks like. He's gone and lived the globe. So that's how quick things can end. Things can end. Limpy Monkey says, "Moy just that, I don't follow him." No, follow him. I'm not saying don't follow him. He's brilliant. He's fucking brilliant at what he does. And I actually enjoy, you know, the transfer stuff becomes that was brilliant, right? But I actually enjoy the little ones he travels in. Like, you know, just out of a big meeting there, you know, just had a phone call here. And then, I love when he forgets the tweet. And he just say, "Look, I can't do anything." And like, say he does a tweet at 10 o'clock every night. When he forgets, he probably, you know, probably putting the kids to bed or playing his Xbox or whatever he's doing, right? Putting the bins out and he forgets the tweet. And then what he does is, they're about a quarter past 10, usually. Sorry, guys. It's got to have to wait 11. There's an embargo here. And I have to get, for legal reasons, I have to wait. - In contact with many clients. - You know, it's fantastic stuff. So, yeah, absolutely follow him. He's the crack click. And where are we? Boom, boom, boom, boom. Kev says, "If you're looking to send her back "to the 24th, they're gonna affect her starting at 11." It's a short list. He would stick to his schlocker back. Hope, I know he, and I'm way more next to Jared Williams. I know he's named, still constantly going around. And way more was there and went away. But, yeah, it's, again, it'll probably be, if they're probably gonna send her back, it'll probably something along the lines of what he've done here with Martin Zuber Mandy. Now we're not, listen, Martin Zuber Mandy isn't done yet. It looks very possible. It's very encouraging as to what's been going on today. But, the deal isn't done until the deal is done. And we've seen that with the looks of Moses, so he said, "We've seen it when Ian Ayer flew off "to Russia to try to get rid of Bianca "on his motorbike and couldn't get him." We've seen it when we tried to, or apparently tried to send Samel from Ben Fic, I think, for about 11 years. I mean, he never signed up. So, yeah, if it gets done, it's a brilliant, brilliant sign. But, you know, all I'm gonna say is, you should be looking up private jets, from South Sudan to, or the Manchester, or John Lennon Airport tomorrow. Well, this is what you have to do tomorrow. You have to be on the lookout for private jets, and Mercedes Vito Vans, right? - The caravan. - Silver or black heading around the sea. 'Cause this has been my favorite part of the transfers. I've seen a van, I've seen a van going through town. I'm nearly sure it was a new Liverpool player, and I love all that stuff. That's the best. It will never be topped off by the one where I went, when we were getting York and Club in 2015, and someone tweeted, "I've just seen Club in the Audi garage, "on the outskirts, and they were all ordering a new Audi, "which was one of the best things, "one of the best, best things ever." So, there we go. - There's always something new. I'm looking forward to what the next iteration is gonna be. - Yeah, but it does a seriousness scale. When it gets to, when it gets to private jets, Mercedes Vito vans, then you know, it's really happening. Like it's so fucking happening, and that stuff goes on, like. But again, Kev says, "Soin' roofs." Yeah, when we were swimming roofs, the plane truck is running there today. It says, "Paul, brilliant." Jared says, "I'm still pissed off about Clint Dempsey, "brillant, absolutely unbelievable." What happened with the Salero link, God says, "Pati, oh yeah, I'm on Salero." Salero is his name. We are calling him Salero. Well, apparently, we'll be calling to Wikipedia. He's saying for Liverpool. - We're signing him. What was his name? Millie Vanilly? - Millie Vanilly. - Yeah, yeah. - That's what we called him last night. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. The goalkeeper, Millie Vanilly, yeah. We're getting him as well. Doubt David says, "Fekir, Kharesma, Pablo Oemar. "We are so in London." Loewak Remi, he's seen, didn't he? He found a medical at Liverpool. Loewak Remi. - I don't know. - Yeah, Loewak Remi. Yeah, there's just so many names. We should do it. We're doing a show tomorrow, actually. And I apologize to the person in the Telegram. 'Cause I forgot her name again. And I have to search so many keywords in the Telegram group. The find is message. But basically, it's annoying me. I forgot his name. But basically, he said he was just doing a podcast, can't remember the name of the podcast. Oh yeah, but he said it was really good. I got it for a tomorrow show. But he said, "We do a show. "I'm gonna do a tomorrow, myself, Shawnee and Keith." Where it's basically, we all have to build an 11, a Liverpool 11, of players you would have liked to see Liverpool looking to see play for Liverpool. - Oh yeah, that you wanted to see sign. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. You can obviously remember the same message, actually. And, but we have to be realistic. Like, you can go, mercy for an Aldo, Ronaldinho. It has to be someone that, at the time, Liverpool were linked with or could have got, you know, the sort of way. So we're doing that from 10 o'clock tomorrow. We're all gonna build a team. Our damn team might build a team and I'll just be lazy and not build them. But we're gonna do that tomorrow. So players that you would have liked to see play for Liverpool, but it has to be realistic. You know, it has to be realistic. Could be hard to find the song for Zuba Mandy. Yeah, so more or less. - There's a guy on Twitter that does that. There's a guy on Twitter, I don't know. You know what I mean? That's constantly sings about that, Ronaldinho. - I mean, AI has been doing it for us recently, hasn't it? - Yeah, but there's a guy that, there's a guy that sings that, I know that stuff all the time. And he absolutely freaks people. Like they get so annoyed over this guy. And he's genuinely, look, I think he's just wanting the people up. But he's so serious in how he does it. He's in his house doing stuff. Sorry, actually someone's asked, is that home brilliant drinking in the can? I'm not too sure it is. Is it alcohol? - Yeah, it is. It's a Berkshire brewing company. - Oh, there we go. - It's just beer. - Just a beer. Yeah, no, so it's not home brilliant for a special brewery or anything like that. - It just comes real fancy can. - Yeah, how many milliliters are in that can? - Yeah, it's a pint. - 500? - It's a pint, yeah. - 568 is a pint, but usually the cans are 500. So there you go. You know, like Canada only drink them really small cans. The baby cans. - I mean, this is America, everything's huge. - Yeah, I know, yeah, I'm fairness, yeah. But you know when you see Americans buying like a six pack, they're always those smaller cans. - That's true. - I feel like the craft beer here. - Yeah, the craft beer are just not messing. They're just like listening. Just got a big can about loads of it here. So the Berkshire brewing company. There you go, free advertising for you. Give us a show. If you want to sponsor us, give us a show. - Yeah, I would love to. - We will drink your beer all fucking day on the shelf, no problem at all. Damien Dufth, remember we are selling Damien Dufth? Yeah, David V, David Silva. Yes, there you go, there's two names as well. And it's good, they're gonna be good names tomorrow. And of course, you know, like I said, we're gonna do these teams and we, there'll be stories around players that they'll definitely come out tomorrow with the trailers and have a good laugh. And let me go, let me see. No, I think we're doing, I think that's better. So anyway, Marin Zuma-Mendy, it's getting closer, hopefully. Hopefully we're doing, hopefully we have a cancel our show tomorrow and I'll put on Marin Zuma-Mendy, so it's a Liverpool show. And then we can go from there. If not, we'll do our show tomorrow, which is touristy and maybe it's a Freudianoid special, with Shawnee won't be happy but he likes his Freudianoids to himself. Kev says, "What a terrible influence on Ashley." 'Cause she's on the cans already. She's not even on the smart cans. She's like, "Just give me the big cans." "Just give me the big cans." I just turn it on alcoholic like the rest of this. So now actually fits Freud in, it's absolutely perfect. Okay, Limpa-Monkey's gone for it. Here we go. Zuma-Mendy, Ozuba-Mendy, and Reggie's showing so bright. With every pass and every play, you give us all a noise to remember, Zuma-Mendy laid the way. I think you lost the running yourself a bit there, right? Zuma-Mendy, Ozuba-Mendy, in Reggie's showing so bright. No problem with that. Don't even know what this song is, right? With every pass and every play, that's fine. You give us all a noise to remember, still long. Still many words there. Too many words. What song are you going with there? By the way. - I need to know the tune. I feel like that's imperative. - Yeah, you definitely need to think. Juan Maté, we are showing him. Danny Alves was a show. Danny Alves. Ah, Jesus. Our own box is Danny Alves. We wouldn't stump up the money. So we saw in Jermaine, Pennant, instead. He saw in Faberas, I won about 120 trophies. Yeah, that's what he is up. And we're gonna have so much fun with that tomorrow. And yeah, we're gonna have so much fun. But anyway, we're gonna go. We've taken up 50 odd minutes here, I told him. Yeah, just bang on 50. Thanks for being there for watching. Don't forget, the links are in the description for our charities. The link is in the description for the fancy Premier League. And he's all tells you're deadlier. I'm brilliant at the fancy football. He's now all these players. He's now the farm. He knows who's gonna score every week. Put you up on your way, I'm out of this. For charity, I'm travelling there. And like I said, we got 100 people. It tells me all is going to the winner. There's now four seconds forward. 'Cause now, like whoever comes bottom, we get to a few, create our PE. Now, if you come bottom of this league, you're a folk in Brazil and a fancy Premier League. Down to it again, next season. So, put you up on your way, I'm out of this. Get involved. And we have a bit of crack show of the season where we bring up the list. I mean, just like everybody else and have a bit of crack. We just get actually on about seven kinds of-- - Public sharing. - Yeah. Yeah, both share our brilliant company. Just sharing something, throwing cans at the screen. And during the Premier, the fancy football reveal. Actually, anything else before we go? - Nope, just waiting for the next Joyce tweet. I think that's for the next 24 hours. I'll be glued to the edge of my seat. - Go into your Twitter and just unfollow everyone, except Paul Joyce. That's it. Just sit there, stare at it. Manjapel says his name to the chorus of Vule Ville. Okay, yeah, always. Diego Costa, we nearly saw it on the Rodgers before Chelsea. Nearly got Vanda, sir. No, we didn't, did we? There's so many. There's so many. Oh, Jesus Christ. - I think he has one hour out. - I think he has one hour out. - Super color, fragileistic. Martin Zuber Mendy, let's hope we don't want to watch it. He's a bell-endy. Fuck off. - Oh, God. - Jesus Christ. Brilliantly, well done. Great effort. Your second currently in the standings, because one of the person put them in. If someone else comes in with another attempt, I reckon you may drop the torch, but look, it's still a medal. - There was someone in there that said, "Oh, Christmas tree." And I feel like that has potential. Like, the song of Christmas tree. - Do you? - I don't know, it kind of rhymes with Zuber Mendy. - Yeah, it does, it's gonna have to work that out, but. - Yeah, does, what's that Christmas song? The Spanish Christmas song. Feliz Navidad, could you do something along? Feliz Navidad, maybe. No, I'm not too sure. - Someone will figure this out. Someone's smart. - Yeah, yeah. Someone will. Someone will. Someone will. But look, don't mention Christmas, because then the blills, they'll think about poor Johnny Hoyt, they may put red on his tree, and then he's completely outcast by the blills. So there you go. Yeah, there's no other, there's no other song. There's no other song suggestions there. The one from Anne is absolutely killing me in fairness. It's actually funny how tomorrow about it, think about it. But yeah, it's all good, it's all good. Right, we're gonna go, we're 100% gone. Thanks to Ashley, thanks to everyone in the chat. Hit like, subscribe, comment, become a member. When mixing things up this season, you're gonna get shows that are members only, you're gonna get shows that everyone can watch, but only members can comment on. And then you're gonna get shows like this, that's free for everyone. And we're gonna put, the majority of them will be members, our members are only competent. So become a member, it's four years a month, and you get loads of shows like this, and we'd be lashing the shows up. Yeah, probably six a week. Martin Zuby-Mendy, you know, to the tune of "Oh, It's Magic." Anne, Anne, I can't keep doing this. It's four to 11, I'll read it later, and then I'll play this song and be ahead, and I'll come back to you. Zuby, Zuby, Zuby, Zuby, says James Ward, to the tune of Ruby by the Coizer Chiefs. - Yeah, that's not bad. - That's the judge. - Yeah, that has potential. Is it a bit obvious though? - I mean, sometimes you want it to be obvious. - Yeah. - Like, you don't want it to be too complicated. - Yeah. Roy, anyone in the chair have a think about the song that you will pour, Martin Zuby-Mendy's name till. And look, the 10 years, right? - Yeah, put it down in the comment. - What do you think? - Put it in the comments afterwards, yeah. Put it in the comments afterwards, because the funny thing is, if you nail this, right? If you nail this, you could go viral. You can absolutely go viral. Let me see. James Davis, get around to golfing people. You'll love it. I don't know what that means. But you can go and watch us on our golf YouTube channel, Bang Average Golf, a video coming out last week, or a card, or a viewer listener. Friend, I call him a friend, Brian or something, where I'm recording with him next week in the beautiful Bong Cloudy Golf Club, which is just, or was the lawyer when he rang me and said, "Do you want to come down and play like golf cars?" I was just like, "I'm leaving me house at 6 a.m." To drive down, he was like, "Relax." It's an hour and a half away, like 14, half a nine. I was like, "I'll be there at half seven." Right, with me drawn, I mean cameras and all sorts of stuff. So we are recording our next week. So there's anything you'd like to say to Brian, or any golf game you'd like to see us playing with Brian. Yeah, let us know. I mean, we'll try to walk them out as well. So we're doing that next week. Right, we're definitely going this time. And stop fucking pointing in suggestions 'cause you have me reading them all. Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. If this fellow signs that we are over the fucking meal, over the meal, that's being it. Talk to you in a bit. Over the meal. Thanks for watching. [MUSIC] Network.
