The news starts now, AM1240 and 95.3 FM, WJON. Good afternoon, I'm Paul Hapstridt. Here are some of the stories making headlines today. A Painsville man who was sentenced to more than 12 years in prison for sexually assaulting an 11 year old girl has been given additional time for sexually assaulting another girl who was between 13 and 16 years old. As Stearns County judge, a sentenced 42 year old Matthew Steinman do a 15 year sentence that is to run concurrent with the previous sentence. St. Cloud businesses took advantage of a special seminar to prepare for changes in 2026. Minnesota's new paid leave program will offer job protections and partial wage replacement to employees who need time off to care for a family member. The Minnesota Air Stream Park has been tucked away in a wooded area just off Highway 10 near Clare Lake for over 50 years now. The park that was started in 1970 is just one of 11 remaining original air stream only parks in the nation. This Saturday, they are opening their park for public tours.
