[MUSIC PLAYING] Morning from Danny Dalton. It is a Thursday morning. That means it's time for the FM Talk 1065 Fish and Report with Cat and Bobby Abberskato, brought to you by McCoy Outdoor Company and McConnell Buick GMC. Good morning, Cat and Bobby. Good morning, and man, I'll tell you what. It has been some fine mornings. I know it's hard to believe, but it's actually very pleasant in the morning until about 8/30 or 9 o'clock. But we-- then it gets brutal. But up until the last several days-- and I'm going to probably step on Dr. Bill's toes here a little bit, but we've had this north component in the wind. And man, it has really made the first few hours a day like really nice. And I think that's the tip for the weekend, man. If you're going to do it this weekend, especially with this nip tide, man, get out there early. You have that little light north wind. We're on a nip tide. That's going to be really important to be out on the water early. Live croakers, if you can get your hands on there, jumping in the live well to eat the live croakers. So you can get some hands on some croakers. If not, shrimp will work. We've been using a lot of artificial baits like top water and ludu shrimp under popping corks and getting it done and getting it done and getting off the water about 10 o'clock, man. What happens if you don't get off the water by 10 o'clock? It starts to heat up. Yeah, yeah. Your cook, just like the fish that you're going to catch. And, Captain Bobby, you know, we got a lot of rain through the month of July. It's been a bit of a dry start to August. But what does that rain from last month meant for your fishing? Doesn't really affect the low end of the bay. Dalton, we just don't get enough runoff for it to affect, especially the local rains. What may affect us down the road a little ways is some of the upstate rain and some of the rain that comes down from Georgia through our river systems may affect the upper part of the bay. But as far as like the local rain, like we had the last week or two, no effect whatsoever. If anything, it helps to actually-- the little storms actually cool the water a little bit. Little breeze in the morning. And Lord knows we could use some cooler water. We have like three and a half hours each day where it's nice and then that's it. That's it. Hey, Captain Bobby, if someone wants to book a trip with you, how can they get that done? Hey, it's 18fishing.com is our website. And 18fishing are our social sites. And speaking of beating the heat, if you check it out on that website, we're doing an early morning, four hour beat the heat special, man. We'll get you back off the water before you cook. Wow, that's a great idea. Thank you, Captain. Bobby, appreciate your time this morning. Sorry, I'm a little tight on time, but good information. And I have felt that breeze myself as weird as it is, ties in the upper 90s and a breeze from the north. All right, guys, y'all have a great weekend. Thank you for coming on. That's the FIB talk, one of six, five fishing report with Captain Bobby Eberscato with 18fishing. And it's presented by McCoy Outdoor Company and McConnell Buick GMC.
