In V.C. News Radio, I'm Lisa Taylor. Tropical Storm Debbie is bringing heavy rain and tornadoes to North Carolina. According to the National Hurricane Center, the storms heading north from South Carolina and is around 80 miles southeast of Charlotte. There have been at least 11 confirmed tornadoes from the storm with three in North Carolina. Debbie will eventually head all the way up to the northeast by Saturday. Maximum sustained winds are near 40 miles an hour, and Debbie is likely to become a tropical depression this afternoon or this evening. The storm has already been blamed for at least six deaths. Taylor Swift's concerts in Austria this weekend have been canceled following arrests connected to an alleged terror plot. Austrian officials said two suspects were taken into custody Wednesday. One of the two suspects is a 19-year-old Austrian citizen who allegedly pledged allegiance to the leader of the Islamic State. Officials said one of the focuses of the 19-year-old suspect for the alleged planned attack was Swiss Vienna concerts. Swift was scheduled to perform Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
