NBC News Radio on Michael Cashner, Ohio Senator J.D. Vance is accusing Minnesota governor and newly tapped Democratic VP nominee Tim Walz, a stolen valor. During a campaign event yesterday in Detroit, Vance claimed Walz abandoned his unit, the National Guard. Just before it was deployed to Iraq, both V.P. Hopeful served. Vance was a Marine combat correspondent during the Iraq War. Walz was in the National Guard for 24 years before his 2005 run for Congress. Taylor Swift is canceling her concerts in Austria this weekend due to an alleged terror plot. NBC chief international correspondent, Ciar Simmons, three Taylor Swift concerts dramatically canceled with less than 24 hours notice after police in Austria foiled a terror attack with targets, including her shows there and Tropical Storm Debbie made a second landfall overnight this time in South Carolina.
