KZN's number one for local news, this is East Coast Radio News Watch. Former Free State Premier Ace Mahashulez, a former personal assistant, is being extradited from the US to South Africa today to face charges in the 255 million rand as best as tender corruption case. Initially a key witness in the case, Moradi Choloda was charged after refusing to cooperate with the state. Allegations state that high-ranking officials, including Mahashule, received kickbacks from asbestos removal funds, with only 21 million rounds worth of work completed. Choloda is expected to arrive at Oitambo International Airport this afternoon, escorted by police and Interpol. Durban police have launched a hunt for four suspects involved in a deadly shooting in Phoenix, north of Durban. Four people were killed on Gillum Road earlier today. The police's Robert Nitshunda says the suspects, travelling in a red Toyota Taz, could out of the vehicle and shot at five security guards. Four security guards were declared dead in a scene, whereas the 51 was right hospital with gunshot injuries. It is not yet clear what kind of witness activity is conducted at the office where the shooting happened. It is also suspected that suspects robbed the victims of their firearms before fleeing from the scene. Police are appealing to anyone who might have information about the whereabouts of the suspects or the possible motive of their killings to un-musally contact the nearest police station or call about a crime-stopped number through a 600-10-2-1.
