welcome into the Gorilla sports podcast. I'm your host Alex bullpen. And it's Thursday, August the eighth. All right, guys, we're recapping from yesterday. We went three and three. We had six plays with three winners and three losers. We were really close to at least having a profitable day. Let's get into the action. So we took San Diego on the money line. This was a rollercoaster. So we ended up starting out down to nothing right away. And then we ended up climbing back in Jack Maryland and hitting a big home run. So got us a four three. So okay, we're hanging on four three. And then we're down five to four going into the ninth inning. And then Merrill hits another home run in the ninth. Perfect. Tied it up 55. And then they end up loading the bases in the bottom of the nine and end up tagging out IKF at home plate to get us into extra innings. So it's like, Oh my God, this is, are we ever gonna get this game over with? And then the top of the 10th, we scored three runs. So we got a nice three run cushion. And what do they do in the bottom of the tent? They load the bases with zero out. Come on. So they end up scoring two runs and we end up just getting out of it. So we squeak out a nine eight win. But man, that was a rollercoaster. And then our batter parlays. We had Altove and Vlady Guerrero together. That was a winner. We had Bobby Whit and Rooker together. That was a winner. And then our three losers. We had Xavier Edwards did not get a hit for us. And Katell Marte did. So that was a loser. And then Juan Soto and Seager both did not get hits. And then Alec bomb and yerks and pro far bomb got his hit and then pro far and I'm getting plunked by a pitch. So they pulled him late in the game. I think he was old for three by the time they yanked him. But you know, that went to extra innings, a couple more bats could have got us a hit. So it could have got us to a winning day. Four and twos a lot nicer than three and three. But what are you gonna do? So it's a little late in the day. Some of the games have already started. So I have two plays that you guys can still get in on our first play. I just have two batter parlays. We're gonna take Vladigarero. Now this guy's back 320 versus Kramer in Baltimore with four home runs. He's on an 18 game hitting streak. So I can't not take Vladi. We've been riding him for a while. And he's been coming through for us. And we're gonna pair it with Yandy Diaz at the Tampa Bay Rays. Now he's back now 333 versus Kyle Gibson. He's got to hit 19 of his last 25 games. So good outline numbers there. So we're gonna pair those two guys together. And then our other play is we're gonna take Bryce Harper, the Philadelphia Phillies. Now they're going versus Jordan Montgomery and his 11.66 hits per nine. But a lot of the other batters have massive odds like minus 390 for Trey Turner to get a hit. So I like Bryce Harper at that minus 275 range. That's a little nicer to pair. We're gonna pair that with Jonathan India. Now he's going versus Kyle Tyler in Miami. And this rookie gives up 10.63 hits per night. So not great outline numbers as well. Jonathan India's been a beast for us. So just those two plays today, guys. And we'll see you tomorrow. If you're rocking with me, let's
