Panto Special 1 - Behind the scenes as the Redhill pantomime prepares for its 2023 run.

The much-loved Redhill Christmas panto this year has been relocated to a circus-style Big Top tent in the nearby Memorial Park, after the show’s intended venue The Harlequin was shut due to dangerous concrete.

In the first of two seasonal special shows recorded on location inside the Big Top itself, hear from the people who decided to move Beauty and the Beast, and how it's been transformed into a venue the likes of which have not been seen locally - or nationally - ever before. We also go on stage where we talk to a pantomime expert on the history of these Christmas shows and get a feel of the production from the actor's point of view.
