Having watched Victor Wembanyama consistently since the start of the season, I can safely say that he is progressing at an alarming clip. Despite WEMBYS advancements, the San Antonio Spurs organization looks completely lost in the 60's.

The Spurs organization actually has not done a good job with player evaluation, and player development and certainly hasn't been in a position to attract top-tier free agents to its team since Kawhi Leonard left for Canada.

Jeremy Sochan, Keldon Johnson, and Tre Jones, while all nice young players are nice young role players who should be surrounded by veteran leadership at this point.

The goal for the Spurs in the off-season should be to surround Wemby with a mix of veterans, young players, and at least 1 top-tier free agent. Ultimately, it would be a shame for Wemby to enter next season with a similar roaster that he has suffered with during his rookie season.
