Welcome into the Gorilla Sports Podcast. I'm your host Alex Boulpin and it's Friday, August the 9th. Alright guys, we had two plays going yesterday, just two batter parlays. We split it again, one for two. So that's back to back even days. So we're just losing a little bit on the juice, but we got to get back on track today. And I got some good plays that I like. Let's recap from yesterday. So just the two batter parlays. We had flatie Guerrero to get one hit and prepared it with the anti D S. That was our winner that came through for us. I liked that look. And then our loser, we had Bryce Harper, he ended up with two hits yesterday. So he did great for us. But Jonathan India, come on, buddy, in six plate appearances and he couldn't get on base. Well, he had two walks, but yeah, they didn't go into extra innings. And he still couldn't get in there. I mean, since he had 12 hits and he wasn't part of any of it, that's that's strange. That rarely happens. So we went one for one yesterday. Let's get into some Friday plays today. Our first place, we're gonna take the Kansas City Royals on the money line. And we got this at a nice minus 120 price. I like this. I feel like the odds makers are are given miles, Nicholas a little too much credit. So we're back in Michael Arendez. This kid's kind of serviceable. He's alright. He's five and six. He's got a 369 ERA. So that's not terrible. And a 124 whip, not bad at all. His last two starts is only giving up two runs, one run each game, one to Detroit and one to the J's. So I liked that look. And then St. Louis, they got miles, Nicholas going, he's eight to nine. He's got a five 13 ERA and a 1.27 whip. So worse underlining numbers than our pitcher, we've got a much better offense in Kansas City. Uh, Nicholas just got rocked by the Cubs. He gave up eight hits and four runs over four innings. Now St. Louis is just five and five over the last 10. So I think we got the better pitcher or if not even. And we got a much better team at home in Kansas City. So give me the Royals on the money line. Our next place, we're going to take the Philadelphia Phillies on the road in Arizona. Now we're back in Zack Wheeler. Now this guy's 11 and five. He's got a 277 ERA and a 0.98 whip. So beautiful numbers, Phillies on a three game winning streak. Wheeler has recent performance. He went eight innings, two hits, zero runs versus Seattle. So he looked real good versus Seattle. And the one versus Ryan Nelson. Now this kid's eight and six, he's got a 460, 465 ERA and a 1.35 whip. He just got rocked by Pittsburgh. His last time out, giving up four runs over the first three innings. And Philly has a really good history versus Ryan Nelson as well as we're going to be taking some of the batters later as well. So I like the Philadelphia Phillies on the money line and I like the Kansas City Royals on the money line. Let's get in a couple of batter parlays that I like today. All right, we are going to take our boy Volaty Guerrero on his 20 game hitting streak. I think we've been riding him for like nine games in a row. So we're going to keep this going. Now he's got one for three versus Spencer from Oakland today. And he's got 340 at home. So he's just a home dog. Love it. And we're going to pair it with Jose Ramirez. Now we're having to figure out ways to pair Volaty like we are with Bobby Whit because his numbers are just skyrocking. So he's a minus 370. So we found a good spot with Jose Ramirez because he's going versus Uber today in Detroit. But he's got a great history for with him. He's about three fifty seven and fourteen played appearances versus over today. So I like that look. You pair Volaty and Jay Ram together. Jose Ramirez of the Cleveland Guardians in game one remember and they get that in a minus one twenty two. So I like that. Now we're going to get back on to our boy Gunnar Henderson. He's been kind of wishy washy lately. But he's got a great history versus his pitcher today. He's he's five for ten versus little today. Zach little. And he's actually four for six with a homer to double versus him in twenty twenty four. So this year. So I like that look a lot and we're going to pair it with our boy Bryce Harper came through for us yesterday. He's also three for six. And for about five hundred versus Ryan Nelson. So I like that look as well. He got two hits for us last night. So that's a good look Gunnar Henderson of the Baltimore Orioles Bryce Harper of the Philadelphia Phillies together. Our next play is we're going to take Freddie Freeman. We haven't been able to use him in a while. He's been injured. He's been back for three games got to hit all three of his games and he's six for twelve about five hundred versus Keller today. And we're going to pair with Xavier Edwards of the Miami Marlins. He let us down the other day. But he's still got to hit ten of his last eleven. He's going versus a left handed pitcher today. He eats lefties spent three sixty seven versus left handed pitching. So I like that look as well. Speaking of Bobby Whit, we found a spot to take Bobby Whit. He's got to hit twenty three of his last twenty five games. He's going versus Miles Mikolas. He's got his nine point eight nine hits per nine. And we're going to pair him a Colton cowzer of the Baltimore Orioles. Now this is a good spot because again they're not giving this guy too much credit. He's got a hit in eighteen of his last twenty games. He was tied with Vladiv for a seventeen game hitting streak. And littles got ten point two nine hits per nine. So I like that look a lot. So we've got four batter parlays. We've got two money lines going after a couple of even days. I think we're going to cook up a nice four and two and a five and one winner today guys. All right guys on this Friday if you're rocking with me, let's roll.
