[inaudible] Welcome into weekly champions here on wrestling spotlight. I'm Gerald Bentley, rejoined by Sonny, the man Eagle Kane and Sonny, we're going to get into it. There's a lot going on in the world of wrestling. Summer slam just happened in my own town of Cleveland. The highest attended summer slam ever, the biggest non-wrestlemania gate ever in America. Very eventful, including the OTC, the original Tribal Chief returning Roman Reigns. Hold your one up and acknowledge him. You and I, we called it exactly what was going to happen. We'll get into that in just a second. I just wanted to let you know if you're watching us, and you're not sure how do I get wrestling spotlight? What's the best way to launch it? The best way is to download that True TV Plus app. It's available free on any App Store, Android, Amazon, Roku, Google, Chromecast. Wherever you get your apps, you can download it, True TV Plus. You can also see us on sports.tv and Carbon TV. But hey, Sonny, let's get into it. Well, we'll start with the end. The Tribal Chief is back to the original Tribal Chief. Roman Reigns, and he did what you and I both said he was going to do. He's had enough of Sola Segoa. He saved Cody Rhodes from a bloodline rules match. Is Roman Reigns the biggest face in the WWE now? Probably so. He was there before Cody came, and I think it's going to be interesting to see how the egos work together instead of a park. That's going to be a new twist to the story now. So, looking forward to seeing how that plays out. Absolutely, and even when Roman was going up against Cody and was the top heel in the company, the people still liked Roman. Being at WrestleMania in person, you could see that because the fans were acknowledging Roman. They were holding up the ones for him at WrestleMania. He had a huge fan base, not as much as Cody had behind him, but I think people want to like Roman Reigns. He's got a great personal story beating leukemia and really kind of reinventing himself, moving away from the shield and just having a different mannerism. Probably one that's close to do to what he really is like. Probably because that's always the best wrestling character, right? Yourself just turned up a little bit. Turned up a lot to do that kind of work. I think people were hesitant to root for Roman because he was playing such a heel. But like I said before, the guy that can play both is the real money maker and professional wrestling. So the answer is to see how he responds to being a good guy. Of course, we saw Flair do it all the time back in the '80s and '90s when he would go from one end to the other. And some can do it well and some can't. Yeah, I mean, we talked about Ric Flair and partnering up with Sting. And people saw what's he doing with Sting. Well, they were partners quite a bit in the past. You just kind of forget about it because you remember Ric Flair, the four horsemen, the dirtiest player in the game. But yeah, he was on the fan favorite side quite a bit. You can tell. I mean, you walk up to any wrestling fan. They'll give you a whoo. And it's because of Ric Flair. Right. So yeah. Ric Flair is starting. Charlotte's got a blue thing going on too now. That she's during her 14 time reign. And the fans are kind of torn between two stars that Flair or her, so. Yeah. But hey, let's-- And then daddy for sure. Yeah. Let's get into another wrestling legend that it's going to factor into the story too. Do we see Paul Heyman coming out with Roman, the Usos may be reunited, Jimmy and Jay, and Cody. Because Paul Heyman was really doing some great work as the manager, as the wise man, the counselor. And he was terrified to solo. So I think the straw that broke the back was solo throwing Paul Heyman through a table. Yes, sir. And I saw something on Twitter just today that's just that Arne Anderson can end up managing Cody. So what that band-- Yeah, well, he was there. And then it's just into his back. Yeah. And Arne Anderson was the head coach of the nightmare family in AEW. So yeah, I think we could see a little bit more of Arne. Arne and Brock were backstage at SummerSlam. So maybe Brock Anderson's reunited with his AEW tag team partner, Brian Pillman Jr., now known as Lexus King. In NXT, because NXT is ramping up too. A little bit of news. NXT moving over to the CW. It's coming up soon, September 13th. And it's going to take place in Chicago. They're going on the road for the first two shows. And if you're going to do a show in Chicago, who do you have? Host it other than CM Punk. And that's coming up. I'm a CM Punk fan. So I've got faith in him. I think he's got one more run. And it's just a matter of time. Yeah, and let's get to that in a little bit. How about the match with Cody and Solo? Do you think the match did what it needed to? Because it was, I mean, it was an aggressive match. I think Solo held his own. I think so. I agree with you. And I think Solo proved that he's ready for the spotlight with Cody. You know, when they bring in a new guy, sometimes or a different guy, that's how they do it. They play three people and they say, OK, toward the end, so and so it's going to come out and save the day. And guaranteed the promoter deed that that was called before it happened. All right, sure, sure. And I think it's OK that it helps the fans despise him because they don't think he's good enough. So the fact that this guy's out there saying, I'm the new trouble chief, I'm the head of the table, I'm the guy who makes the company go, and the fans don't think he's got it, that actually makes it better for him being the heel because he's generating that hatred similar to a Dominic Mysterio level of hatred. Right. And that's what you want. If you're at the hill, you want to be the most hated man at the table. So that's your angle. And if solo needs to go, he can. He's in the future starts wrestling Hall of Fame from Las Vegas. You can go search FSW. They have all their matches on the FSW networks available for free. He's had some great matches there. The guy can go. He can do just about anything. So what you're seeing is really kind of being done to push that story had that he's an undeserving fake chief. And the only drawback really for the bloodline besides losing was you do have an injury to Jacob Batu, who's been incredible since coming in. The Simone werewolf looking as good as he did in MLW where he was the MLW champion for a couple of years. MLW heavyweight champion and the openweight champion. He's been a huge shot of new blood, if you will, to the bloodline. And Tama and Tonga have done a great job, too, coming over from New Japan. I agree. I think the bloodline's still stronger than ever. And my question now would be how far can you trust Roman Reigns if I was coming to the road? Well, I think you can say that for the other two guys who came out to help Cody. How far can you trust the Viper Randy Orton? And how much do you trust Kevin Owens? Both of those guys have been on both sides of the fence quite a bit. I know Cody has history with Randy Orton going back to his initial run in the WWE as the legacy, along with Ted DiBiase Jr. But Randy Orton's made a career of striking people, thus being the Viper. Yes, sir. And, you know, I always had to watch guys like that because you can't ever trust what side of the gate they'd be on. And even if they did walk out with you, how long they would stay with you? So it's not scripted to the point that, you know, they know every single single single move. But guys flip all the time. Well, you got to think what we're going to see, especially with Survivor Series War Games being announced in Canada, you're going to see the thing that we've been talking about. Everybody's been talking about the bloodline Civil War. And it's going to break down some combination of Roman and the Usos against Solo, Jacob Fatu, Tama and Tonga. And then at some point we'll see Hickelayo debut with Tama and Tonga's younger brother, the tallest member of the bloodline, the Hickelayo is about 6'5". And he's an impressive wrestler as well. He did some great stuff in New Japan. And you can see some of the matches he had in AEW taken part in the 4-bit indoor runs when he was in New Japan. So it's going to keep going. I think we see this run through December. And then the question will be, it's coming up. I mean, WWE's done a great job of long-term storytelling. It's not too early to start talking about WrestleMania next year. It's coming up in April. But you're getting within eight months. I mean, WrestleMania stories are going to start developing now. Probably. That's the way they did it the last year. And I don't see a reason why they shouldn't start doing it now. And my question is, when is Charlotte Flair going to return? I'm still looking for Charlotte to have a first run. Yeah, let's get to that. Because you have-- are safe to say, right? You've got both women's titles kind of in a little bit of a state of flux. SummerSlam kicked off with Liv Morgan going up against Maria Ripley. And not only did we see Liv retain the title, but we saw the Judgment Day tear apart when Dirty Dom Mysterio turned his back on Maria Ripley to side up with Liv Morgan through the chair to Liv. So she was able to hit a oblivion on Maria Ripley onto the chair and hold onto her title. Semending Dom as just easily the most hated guy in the WWE. But Liv Morgan's not going to be the champion for long. Then the other women's championship, Bailey falls to the irresistible force. The queen of the ring, Nia Jax. And Tiffany Stratton was a part of the reason for that. Because she distracted Bailey trying to cash in the Miz money in the bank briefcase. That ends up with her tenuous partner. Nia Jax went in the title. Which title do you think Charlotte Flair goes after? Because you know, she's going to get reign number 15 and 16. It's coming. You know, that's in the bag. And it's just a question of which one she wants the most, I think, at this point in time. It's up and there. I would think the women's title would be her call. But who knows? I mean, she's got so many options now. But I think she won't see a smidge of a preview of her at summertime. I think Smackdown, I think Nia Jax, that combination. I think you're going to see something that's been out with Bailey teaming up with somebody else. It could be Charlotte, they have some history together. And Tiffany and Nia Jax, and I think you're going to see some turnover in that title. That's not going to be a long reign, probably for Nia. And on the other side, I think Liv Morgan is going to cheat, steal, and hold on to her belt against Rhea Ripley for a while, maybe up to Survivor Series. Well, you have to do what you have to do to keep it sometimes. Well, and Dom seems to be channeling Eddie Guerrero, so live, cheat, and steal is, I think, going to be a prevalent part of Liv Morgan's story. I think so. And I saw Ronnie Piper's daughter was trying to make a comeback in WWE now, too. So I don't know how she's going to do. I've been keeping up with her. I think she's really talented and I hope they use her. So yeah, I got to run into teal at WrestleMania. That would be great to see her get involved. And I think we're going to see a little bit of a reset, too, and a real hardening and a sharp definition to the stories going on. Because, I mean, you're just around the corner from Netflix and you got smacked down moving the USA. That's coming real soon, too. And so there's going to be this reset, a new season, and really kind of a jumping off point in WWE, I think. You'll see a lot of new matches and just a different energy, too, as they build towards that Survivor Series. What do you think of just a throwout question? And you want to think of Shane McMahon being involved in AEW? That makes me nervous. Well, Shane's an entertaining guy. I wonder if that means you bring in AEW Underground. Remember when he did that, they were going to have MMA-style matches, got a harder-hitting matches. Yeah, I'd be OK with Shane stepping in. Because he's definitely a talented individual. I think his days of working matches in the ring are probably over. But why not? I mean, you got guys moving around. Scott DeMoor, the former head of TNA Impact, he just started his new Federation today, Maple Leaf Wrestling, bringing back the independent company he ran before he assumed the control of TNA Impact. And his first show, he's got a lot of high-end talent in there, the Walking Weapon, Josh Alexander, the quintessential diva, Giselle Shaw is going to be there. The former modern day of Maharaja, gender Mahal, is going to be there. So I mean, you're going to see these executives kind of moving around. And it's OK, and it's good to get different voices involved. Don't have a problem with that. I think it's good because I think the more you work together, the more there's one community, the better it is for everyone. Because here, look at Joe Hendry. And Joe Hendry is an entertaining guy, he is. But look at the way he's been able to take a couple of appearances on NXT and elevate not only himself, but elevate that whole TNA brand, and now he's working out full-time at the Performance Center. So there's getting to be more of a formal relationship between TNA and WWE, which I think is great, because TNA has some good wrestling, it just gets ignored. People don't see it. You've been talking about it for a while. The Hardy Boys are in TNA, and they were talking to the WWE and Cleveland. So you could see another run from Matt and Jeff Hardy before it's over. So yeah, I think it's great to do at least another run or two before they hang up to boots and just train or whatever they do on the side. I mean, he's got a school going, too, down at the Hardy compound. Let's talk about a match that amazingly was the first televised one-on-one match for CM Punk in a WWE reign in over a decade. He's been back in the WWE for just about a year now, almost a year to the day, right? Because he left at EW after all end, which is coming up in a couple of weeks. That's his first one-on-one match that was on TV. He had one match against Dom Mysterio Christmas week at the Garden. Then the only other match he was in was the Royal Rumble, where he got hurt towards Drysap. This was the return match. He made it through un-injured and had a strong match. Drew McIntyre gets the win because CM Punk was distracted by Seth Rollins with the bracelet and got himself concerned with Seth, got claymoored and done in a match that he had won. Do you think CM Punk has enough in the tank to make one more run at the main event level? Because this isn't it, but Drew McIntyre, they're going to have another match. I've been so, and I'm not a betting man. I think he's in there by this time. I think he's trying to get well. And it's hard. I think he feels like he has a little bit wanted to take it to go. And sometimes they have to work a guy in and get them a minute. I'm going their way. And he's made some pretty cool statements on X and about what he'd like to see and things he's done. And I underestimated the man a few years ago, and he rose to superstardom. So I don't want to make that mistake twice and say it can't happen. But it's personality, too, and how well they're getting old with the guys. Maybe there's been some in my ring way, I think. And maybe there's been some adjustments that I needed to be made in the locker room for it to be his time, like everybody else. And that's kind of what you do. It starts out. A guy goes out for a ring time, and that's a free show. And then it's $25 a fight. And then you work your way into the momentum. So they get paid more than that in the majors. But I imagine when they come in from another league, and they're not like CM Punk has done, he's got to work his way up and out or two. And sometimes it just takes a little bit longer. Well, Anne, you've got to think they're going to play careful with them because, man, here, Drew McIntyre had a great line in the press conference post-summer slam. For a guy who doesn't drink and doesn't smoke, nobody's been in rehab more than CM Punk. In the last two years, he's had both triceps torn and had a multiple fracture in his foot. So he's missed the majority of the last two years. He had a great run of matches. At the beginning of his tenure in AEW, if you get a chance to see that dog collar match against MJF, that was a tremendous match. He was going all out. Match against John Moxley was great. That's where he heard his tricep the first time. If you re-watch it, you can see the instant that he did it. He finished the match, but he knew he was going to be out for a while. So I think he got through this match. Now you can take a little bit of time. And maybe he's only a special occasion wrestler. Maybe he comes back and has one match before the PLA. Then he hasn't mentioned the PLA. And then you don't see him for a while, because physically, he looks great. He's in better shape now than he was during his championship run in AEW. It's just the lingering question that's going to be there until he does it is, hey, can he stay healthy? Well, that's when the age factor starts to kick in, flat wrestling to him by age in the range. And I'm 55, and he was still born mainstream. So it's one of those things that could really flip either way for him, but I bet he's got enough heart to make it happen. So that's what I'm saying. I don't think that they will have kept them around if they didn't have some kind of plan for him. Yeah, that's a lot of money just to hang out. Well, they gave them an extent. They're talking an extension. And it sounds like the end game is good NXT and maybe take over for Sean Michaels, which would be interesting. I mean, see, I'm punk in charge. You could run it the way he wants to. It would be interesting to say. Yeah, a guy who has a lot of heart and worked his way up. He was in championship wrestling from Hollywood for a long time. He was a TNA champion. He was in the NWA as a lot. Drake, yeah. L.A. Knight, he got his win. We were saying every wrestling show you watch was saying, this is a must win for L.A. Knight, he won it. He is your U.S. champion. And I think you're going to see the U.S. champion be more of a workhorse champion now because he's going to be out there. And the Mega Star will be competing almost every week. And I think it's great that L.A. Knight's going to get this run with the title. What do you think? I think he's paid his dues and I think it's his time to shine. And we're going to be seeing some great stuff out of him. I don't think it's a one-night-wonder situation at all with L.A. Knight. Yeah, I think we'll see him for quite a bit. And on the other side, the irresistible force that is Braun Breicher, the next generation of the Steiners, his dad and his uncle were there watching, he's now your Intercontinental champion taking out Sami Zayn. That's good. How impressed are you with Braun Breicher? I'm fairly impressed from what I've been able to see of him. It's a genetics thing. He's got the background for it. And I think we're going to be seeing all the good stuff come from him. I don't think he's a one-night-wonder either. And he just needs to keep it going. Kind of with L.A. Knight. I think he will. And you've got to think, having the genetics from his uncle, Big Pomp of Pomp, Scotty Steiner, his dad, the dog face gremlin, Rick Steiner. Well, Scotty Steiner's genetics, that gives you a 45% chance of winning. Rick Steiner's, that gives you a 40% chance of winning. And then Braun Breicher, with that combination of the two, that's another 40% chance of winning. That means he has a 125% chance of winning. So basically, he's going to win, right, using Scotty Steiner math. Got 125% chance to win because of that. Yeah. But I mean, it was great. And they're referencing it now because what's interesting with that is everybody knew he was Rick Steiner's son and Scott Steiner's nephew. Everybody knew that. But old school WWE under the Vince McMahon regime, he didn't like having second-generation names. So they didn't let him be Braun Steiner. He was Braun Breicher. Now they're just overtly acknowledging, yeah, he's from that Steiner family. And then Scott and Rick were there watching him. I think that's good, too. I think it's great that they're leaning into history. And they're acknowledging the entire wrestling universe. They talked about how Cody and AJ had matches in another federation back in New Japan. They talked about how guys have come from other areas and how they've been and I quit matches in other companies. I think that's really good because you're acknowledging the fans' intelligence, too. I like the generation wrestlers. I was sort of a generation fighter myself. And that's a conversation I had with Rode, aged Rick Steiner, when he promoted me when he wanted me to go to Florida to wrestle on the WWF. I said, let me use my name so it could continue to build the work I've done in the Carolinas. And he said, no, and I said, no. But it gives you that much more pull and advantage with the fan flow. And that's important because if you're in there, you need to be telling something while you're there, and not just going to toss rounds the way I look at it. But it, too, becomes a money thing. And that's what I want. And if I want to get paid the money, then I want interested in doing it. And they should end with my notes, but so. Well, now let's go ahead and segue over. We got a little bit of time. The other supercard ones over. Summer slams in the books. The other one, all in, coming from Wembley Stadium. That's coming up in a few weeks on August 25th. But AEW is putting the pedal down. They're building towards it. They started out last night with what I thought was a terrific match and continuing that trend of storytelling. MJF challenging Will Osprey's best friend, Kyle Fletcher. And they had a half hour long match that ended with MJF taking a cheap shot that hit in the brainbuster. And then beating down Kyle Fletcher with that diamond ring. And you get that personal hatred building. Not only did he take Will Osprey's title with a cheap shot, changed the name to the American title. And he's just being this pompous jerk American, probably living up to all the stereotypes that the European fans have. And they're heading to England. Heading to Will Osprey's hometown in the iconic Wembley stadium. This gives Will Osprey a chance to be the avenging hero. And in a way Will Osprey is representing America more than MJF is. Because he is the guy who's working. He's the guy who's willing to fight to put in the effort. And MJF has taken the cheap shots and the shortcuts and just being a disrespectful jerk. I mean, that's what made MJF who he is. I think it's good that he's back to that. I do too. We've been making Will Osprey for a while now. And I'm seeing his growth and his potential. And I think it's going to draw a lot of heat in England. And I'd like to see that. So, you know, that's what it's all about. You want to tell the story so the fan wants to see them fight. Yeah. That's a huge key, right? I mean, that's been the criticism the first few years of AEW. Hey, yeah, they have amazing matches. Nobody's contesting that. But the matches don't have anything behind them. They're just matches for the sake of matches. Which, in a traditional sport, fine. No problem. I mean, there's not these massive, you don't have massive backstories when sporting Kansas City plays the Columbus crew. It's sporting play in the crew. You don't have massive backstories where the Kansas City Chiefs take out the Detroit Lions. But this is professional wrestling. It's part of it. You have the stories. There's reasons that guys are having matches. I think you have to lean into that. It can't just be presented 100% as a true sport. No, I'd like to be in sport at least at the independent level. You can't always tell the story to get the crowd to pay attention to you. But the crowd just sort of knows who's to eat and who's not. And then you have your storytelling. So when I was a younger man, I remember at the door in the rain, I sat through a Star-K type event of 12 matches one night. And I can only tell you about the last two matches. So, you know, it loses momentum if you don't have a story now until it's what I'm trying to say. And you've got to keep people involved. That's what it's all about. Like today on Next, who do you think I don't recall the guy's name right off? But who do you think so-and-so-and-so should wrestle Next? And that's huge. They never ripped out on that level before. And guaranteed a promoter will be taking that seriously. Sure. Because of the draw. And then we have a championship match, another championship match coming in at UW. That is Mariah Mae, the glamour. And she's going to be taking on her former mentor, right? Her muse, timeless Tony Storm. Tony Storm, your at UW Women's Champion, going up against the Owen Hart tournament winner, Mariah Mae. Mariah came out with her shoe that she used to bust open Tony Storm and took on Viva Van, another future stars of wrestling alumni. She is the former FSW Women's Champion. Currently in New Japan, CMLL. Viva Van is going to be a big factor, I think, to help Ed Dickson will be showing up more in AWF. Didn't go well for Viva last night, though. And Mariah Mae, Tony Storm, ended up in an old school. Pull him apart for all after the match. So again, you're setting up another match with the hometown hero kind of, although I think Tony's from Australia, but she spent a lot of time in London, going up against another Londoner in Mariah Mae. And I think this is the best that the AEW Women's Division has been since it started, because you're getting these multiple story levels. Mercedes Monet and Britt Baker, DMD, going at it for the other title, for the TBS title. Thunder Roses had a great series of matches against Deanna Faraza, the virtuosa. And over in Ring of Honor, Athena has been doing great work. And she's been kind of paired off with Queen Aminata and Red Velvet. And I think AEW has really got it dialed in at the Women's Division. To a greater degree than they ever have in their five years. Well, you know, that's the whole thing, Mr. Ben is just been five years. So, you know, they've had that short amount of time to pull it in this tie and imagine what they could do in a few more years. So that's the way I'm looking at it. And Monet's Monet has gained my respect over the past few months. You and I talking about her and watching her. And I think she's going to stay a force to be reckoned with in the Women's Division. So, at least in AEW. And I agree. That not paying or that kind of money to us, sit down on the silence. No, no, you're getting 10 million a year. You're going to be a factor. Then, yeah, you made a good point. They've only been at it for five years. So, I mean, think about it. You got a company that's significant, not even halfway to 10 years. This new TV contract, it looks like they're going to ink the details coming up soon with Warner Bros. Discovery to stay on, TBS, TNT, and then probably move a significant portion of programming, maybe catalog, maybe Ring of Honor over to the max platform. That's going to be a contract that cements AEW as being a major player, because they're not going anywhere. They got an extension, a five-year, seven-year extended contract with Time Warner. That turns them to a big profit maker, and it's going to keep everything going where you have two legitimate leagues and you're going to see wrestlers moving back and forth. I think you'll see Bobby Lashley, the almighty, moving over to AEW here really soon. His contract's expiring in WWE, and Bobby Lashley still has a lot left under the tank. For a guy who's 48 years old, it's insane how good he looks. And for past few weeks, you and I have talked about this, the guys don't have to rely on WWE anymore as the source of income or making it. You can naturally go out to five to ten different leagues now that weren't there ten years ago and hang your boots up like the Hardy Boys have done and say, "Okay, we're here." And they got the biggest welcome in the ring and T&A the other night that I've seen in a long time. I mean, if they weren't WWE bound from that one show, nobody is. Sure. While in here Nick Nemeth, Dolph Ziggler, he is currently your champion in AAA and TNA. He's doing a great job. Matt Cardona reinvented himself by bouncing through the different companies. He's been an NWA, he's had a championship match against EC3, he showed up on TNA this last week to disrupt the wedding between PCO and Step the Lander. And amazingly PCO is older than me and he's still going. You know? Yes, sir. Remember he was one of the Quebecers. That's what you have. And you have guys who still want to go and WWE says, "Well, you know, services are no no good needed here," that just jumped into another league and do it all number again now. So I think it's great to see what I used to call those leagues coming back. They really make professional wrestling doable to the average person in my opinion. Yeah. And hey, let's hit one more card and talk about making professional wrestling accessible. The NWA, the National Wrestling Alliance, they're having their 76th anniversary show coming up at the end of the month at the 2300 Arena, the old ECW Arena in Philadelphia. They're going to have an open free autograph and photo op appearance with their wrestlers at the 2300 Arena. So EC3, Baron von Storm, Tim Storm, the former NWA, heavyweight champion, Trevor Murdoch, Kerry Morton, all the stars of the NWA Brian Idol, Natalia Markova, Magic Jake Dumas. They're going to be there. They're going to be available to meet and greet with the fans and it's free. I think that's a great idea that the NWA is doing. They're going to that iconic arena. They'll fill it up. It'll look great on TV. And everybody's standing in the moment. They keep that tradition going. So guaranteed. And then the main thing, they'll pack them out because you almost always have a ticket to those things now. Sure. Yeah. And yeah, they're doing it for free. I think it's going to be a great event. And they're bringing in some outside talent too. You mentioned it when we were off air, Jack Cartwheel, who's a very impressive worker. He's going to have a one-on-one match against Alex Misery, who's also a pretty aerodynamic wrestler. It's going to be different than what you've seen in most of the NWA matches. They get to that junior heavyweight category in NWA. They can go. These matches are a lot like the old TNA X division. Colby Carino's in there, Kerry Morton's in that division. A couple of second generation guys, Steve Carino's son, and Ricky Morton's son. Great wrestlers. So you can see a couple of different styles in the NWA too. You see more of that traditional NWA style, and then you get to the junior heavyweights. They can do anything you see in any company. So I think that's a good balance the NWA's building. I do. If I read it right, they are talking about being the more national TV platforms coming up. Yeah. Yeah. They're currently available on the CW network app. That's available on every smart TV, 100% free. So that's a good way to get into it. You can watch all the NWA's content right there for free, and the new episodes come out every Tuesday. So it gives you something to watch, just whatever, you know, you want to work it in. It's there. It drops Tuesday morning at like 10, which works for me because of my schedule. I can actually watch it right when it hits, and they are doing some really good work. And you kind of get a little bit out of sight out of mind because they're not right there on the TV. You do have to go to the app. The definitely has followed the NWA, and you can get into it. It's definitely wrestling like you remember. It's more of that old Superstation W-TBS style. Something you're familiar with. Missed that style. Ready, missed that style. Yeah. It's just, I saw my buddy, Sean, Sean Waltman, commentating on the-- Six pack. And I wrestled with Sean on the North Carolina independence a lot when I was going through. He's just a great guy to be around, and I'm glad to see that he's being picked up again. Maybe as a commentator was the impression that I got from it, and based on what he had said and so forth. And he brings a more wholesome twist when you have former wrestlers who've worked in the ring, in my opinion, to commentate the match. They've been there. They know what it's like, and they know what they're seeing. Kind of like I care what they're seeing. So. Yeah. Well, hey, let's go ahead and wrap it up. We've got the wrestling spotlight championship here, and we'll go ahead and get into weekly champions right after that. Hey, what's up, guys? This is Tybell. I went along that, and you are watching wrestling spotlight. Hey, gal. We're on wrestling spotlight. It's weekly champions. Sonny, who's your champion of the week? My champion of the week, to my surprise, is Mr. Jack Cartwell. He does phenomenal work, and if he does or hurt himself, we are going to be seeing him short in WWE, I'll predict. Well, and to be fair, the NWA is signing a lot of guys to contracts. They just announced their national champion, Tom Latimer, is signed up now. So there's a good place for him in the NWA, too, but he's a hardworking guy. I actually follow him on LinkedIn as well. He does a great job promoting himself, and you can see a lot of his matches to search him online. Jack Cartwell, and take a look at some of the matches he's had. The guy gives a terrific worker. That will be a good match with him in Alex Miserie at NWA 76. If you're in the Philadelphia area, definitely worth getting a ticket and heading down there. They will do a good show. I promise you it will be entertaining. My champion of the week, I am going to go with Don Callis, because Don Callis actually got cheers last night, and people hate Don Callis, but that tells you how much MJF has hated that Don Callis got cheers, going out to help Kyle Fletcher, and he was, you know, not exactly emotional and supportive, but for Don Callis, it was a big step. Well, hey, with that, we'll wrap it up. You can get wrestling spotlight on that True TV plus app. See us on Sports.tv and on Carbon TV. We'll be back with more.
