Guiseley 2-1 Bradford City, Mark Bower post match
So Mark 2 and against Bradford City, that couldn't have gone much better, could it? No, some really good performances, you know it's obviously pre-season and you don't read too much into it, just like we didn't get carried away last week with that defeat, don't get carried away with that today either, so we know some really good signs, you can see some relationships starting to build between players on the pitch, players on good stuff at times and resolute at times when we had to be, cracks can go on with a couple of great saves and yeah all round good performances could work out for the lads, we managed to up the minutes in a few players' legs as well, so all around, yeah good days' work. And we saw some academy lads included today, you're looking to bring the youth through? Absolutely, yeah, we've got a really strong squad of proven players at a high level but ultimately the players that deserve to play on a Saturday afternoon or play on a Saturday afternoon, if that's someone that's played through into league games in the league above or if it's one of the academy players that's coming through that they'll play and yeah a couple of games next week, I mean a shots based on time, Wednesday, Friday, so plenty of minutes for those lads to come on and impress and yeah, take that next step, turn in Monday and look forward to a good week next week, perfect, and are you willing to put your neck on the line and put a prediction in for the final tomorrow, the Euro's final? Yeah I think we'll go, same score line as today, 2-1 win, so yeah, fingers crossed, I'll be watching it, fingers crossed they can get their job done.
