I thought this was a cool trick that I wanted to share. Go to Google Search Console. Look at keywords that you're ranking at the bottom of page one on Google for, or at the top of page two. Find the pages that are ranking for these keywords. These keywords are within striking distance, and you can do one of two things. You can create a new page for these keywords, but even easier, expand the mention of these keywords on the page that is ranking for them. So let's think of a keyword. Let's use podcast history as a keyword. Maybe you are ranking at the bottom of page one on Google, or at the top of page two for podcast history. So you're gonna go to Google Search Console, look at the page that is ranking for this. See if you even mentioned podcast history, and you probably do, and then expand that section. Add a couple more paragraphs. Cover the topics more thoroughly. If you don't use the exact keyword, use it. Don't keyword stuff, but use the keyword. I thought this was a simple way to target low-hanging fruit keywords. It's something that a lot of people don't do. They try to target keywords, but they don't see what they're already ranking for, and they could get a lot more traffic. If they just looked at Google Search Console, saw what they were ranking for, and expanded the sections in the pages that are ranking. So that's what I wanted to share on this episode of the Edward Show. This is episode 367 of my daily digital marketing podcast, and I'm recording this from my headphones in an airport, because I took a red-eye flight, and by the time I get home, I'm gonna be too loopy and exhausted to record a podcast in a way that makes sense. So I said, no time like the president, let me talk about some SEO in an airport. And actually, this is a topic that I'm pretty excited about. Better ways to target low-hanging fruit keywords, keywords that are within striking distance, and this is one of those easy ways. All you have to do is go to an existing page, expand a section that is related to that keyword, and that's it. Then submit your changes to Google Search Console. So I thought this was exciting, and I wanted to share it on today's episode of the show. This episode 367, I am recording this from the airport in Warsaw and my flight boards in 30 minutes. Thank you so much for watching. Thank you so much for listening. I will talk to you again tomorrow.
