Make a baby. You know that banger of a B by now, right? You know that is the intro of the sound, the theme to the college football function. You know the voice by now, right? You see him, AKA CMFunk, AKA Mr. Still, your grandma, AKA Mr. Perfect, Mr. AKA. If you just want to call me by something different, just call me Mr. AKA. Because like I said, I have a lot of AKA's and a lot of them aren't necessarily the best, but I'm not here to do that. Maybe you'll save that for a different date. It is August. August 5th, to be exact. And just when you're listening to it, I don't know if it's going to be later this week. Maybe this will drop in a week. Not too sure, schedule has been kind of weird. Lately, I know the football function brand has been putting out shows left and right with the rivalry series with Mr. Grimryford. By the way, I appreciate the shout out my friend, you know, from my birthday on your Cowboys versus Niners show. Great show, by the way. I appreciate the love. Thank you very much. I mean, we are in contact with each other. We messes each other on, you know, Facebook a lot. And I appreciate his input. He's always asking me questions and you know, just being a good friend, you know, and in times like this, you know, especially the older you get, you start losing friends. I know, you know, you think now I have so many friends and I'll have these friends forever. Don't hold your breath. Just know that, like, you know, and actually having a whole lot of friends isn't exactly the best thing because at some point in time, they may stab you in the back or, you know, do something wrong to you or, you know, date your ex. I mean, I'm just kind of ball parking here. But if you have at least a handful of friends, just consider yourself blessed. You know, there's a lot of people out there that don't really have a whole lot, you know, especially family too, as well. A lot of loners, you know, and there's nothing wrong with that at all. But like I said, counter blessing if you have friends because I do, you know, I have a good handful, maybe two, of just bonafide dudes. And a couple of them are on this show, you know, with Mike and Terry. And of course, my cousin, you know, Andy Lafarne, the guy that got me into this show, him and his brother, we grew up together, you know, we saw each other all the time, you know, we're cousins, but they're brothers to me, you know, they're, you know, they're blood, but we were more than cousins. We were brothers, you know, we would always hang out. And I mean, we were always together all the time. And, you know, the bond still is tried and true to this day, you know, whenever we do hang out, I know it's not very often. Maybe once or twice a year, maybe three times a year, we stick together, you know, it's like gravity, we kind of just come back together and we're always around each other and we have good times. And like I said, I just counter blessing your P.F. friends out there, for sure, but big shafts of grim and a power pull as well. Of course, Mike and Terry, all these guys and don't really know I was going with that, but I just kind of went on a tangent, I guess. And everybody else that reached out to me for my birthday, I appreciate that. There was a whole lot of love sent my way. I definitely felt it, man. It's just, oh, do you get, like I said, and that last show, you know, birthdays, you know, of course, they're great days to celebrate, but it's just another day. Sometimes, I mean, most of the times you got to work and, you know, you stop giving, getting gifts and stop getting money and, you know, you just try to, you know, I got taken out to eat, you know, it was nice. And I threw together, threw together a little birthday sware, I'm not a big party guy, but invited some friends and some family and stuff and we had some, some good times. But like I said, I had a really good birthday and I appreciate everybody that reached out to me and just told me happy birthday, because you know, that means the world to me. Like I said, I'm a man of simplicity. I'm not a big, I'm not a bougie guy at all. I'm into the small things for sure. And like I said, I appreciate y'all for reaching out and letting me know and wanting me to have a great birthday. But like I said, it is August. It's finally getting here. Like I said, every time I talk to you guys, it's getting closer and closer and technically college football starts this month, baby. And in a few short weeks, it will be week zero week one. Not real sure how they're going to do that this year. But it's on and popping and there are some great matchups week one. And I do believe it starts the 27th. I'm not real sure. And I have, I still got some stuff, some stuff for you guys. Today, I'm going to wrap up the greater five, you know, the non power four, you know, the little guys, just because I want to predict possibly who's going to get that number 12 spot in the college football playoff. Like I said, I love that they're doing that. They're going to give a little guy a shot because everybody knows you just chip in a chair, you know, all you need is a spot at the table to potentially, you know, make some noise, fuck some shit up. So to speak, hopefully my voices are right by the way, my allergies, holy shit, I've been horrible for like the past couple of days. It's been just like I said, completely awful. But like I said, I had some spare time today and I wanted to get this show out because like I said, I want to start keeping everything. I want to be a little ahead, but yet not get too ahead, but not get enough all behind as well. And it's going to be hard. Because like I said, I'm going to go once the season starts, it's going to be two shows a week. Hopefully Monday, Tuesday will be the the week before wrap up show. And then later in the week, hopefully Wednesday, Thursday will be the preview for the upcoming week. And then all the way through, like I said, till conference season, and then that 12 team play off, like I said, that starts. It's inaugural year this year all the way through. And like I said, we'll go right back through this whole thing again. And then we'll do the draft stuff and bam, you know, another year has gone by because college football, you know, it's 14 weeks, you know, and you get two buys this year and 12 games. And that's really all your guarantee, you know, have a good year. Yeah, you get a spot in your conference championship. And then hopefully you get a spot in the big dance. Because like I said, this is a 12 team playoff. It's first year, super excited, but I'm going to do these little schools. And some of them are so little doing the Mountain West conference champion that I'm predicting who's going to win that conference. That's the Boise State Broncos, a team that's when you think of greater five, when you think of non power for Boise State is typically one of those teams that you think of everybody knows the blue field. Great uniforms and great shade of blue. I am definitely I'm a blue guy. You know, it's just always been one of my favorite colors. Yes, I'm a red and black guy, you know, for being the Texas Tech fan, but blue is just one of those colors. And it looks good on me too. So definitely doing the boss Boise State Broncos. Sorry, like I said, who I think is going to win the Mountain West and could potentially take that number 12 spot. I'm doing the Sun Belt champion that I'm going to predict as well. And I think it's the jam you dukes, a team that, you know, I think it, you know, throw them in the pot with the two lanes of the world, the Arizona's of last year, just darlings, you know, Cinderella's that, you know, weren't expected to do anything. Hell, they had a college game day appearance last year. I think it was their first time ever hosting a college game day. And years like that start, you know, building steam, you know, throwing a little bit of coal into that train. And it just starts this, you know, motion going. I mean, Boise State had to start somewhere too as well. You start throwing successful years consecutively year after year, nine, 10, 11 win seasons. You may start getting those three four star guys, maybe even a five star guy, you start being on TV more. Like I said, that college game day thing, millions of people watch college game day every Saturday morning. And I'm one of the ones who's a religious follower of college game day. I've been watching it since I was a kid, you know, and just to get ready for the that day of games. And they would, you know, recap some of the games that happened, you know, possibly Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, you know, the past couple of the couple of days before. And I just got you ready. And it got you excited. And, you know, like I said, college football is beautiful and amazing. It's a, like I said, it's my favorite thing in the world. Well, I'm not going to say that. We're not going to go into there. But it's my favorite sport. And I hope you guys understand and feel the passion that I have for this shit, man. I really do. I love this game and all the teasers have been coming out. And preseason camp is actually started. I think it started a couple of days ago, you know, because I follow Tet and it's already started, you know, like I said, football starts in a few short weeks. And like I said, it's gonna be on and popping and then it's over. But after today, I'm going to wrap up greater five, I will have five conference champions. And I'm going to do a bonus team for you guys as well after I do Boise State and JMU. I got to throw in the Notre Dame fighting Irish because technically they are not included in the, you know, the power four. They've kind of many opportunities to join conferences. I think a lot of teams with law, not teams, but conference, you know, commissioners would love the idea of having a Notre Dame fighting Irish in your conference. I do believe the ACC is the one that they've been really trying to get because they're up there in the Indiana area. And it would make sense to be in the ACC, or even the Big Ten, in that little area up there. But they're just kind of their own thing. They do their own thing. They schedule who they want to schedule. But they're still a team that you have to take into all this stuff. They're an ingredient in this college football landscape. You can't think, I mean, you see that gold helmet. You think another day. I mean, some of some people out there probably would put Rudy in their top five, top ten, greatest football movies, underdog story, you know, like I said, but it's also one of those teams that you either love them or you hate them. There's no in between with the Notre Dame. I can, well, you know, I guess I could kind of say that I'm in between. They're there. I mean, I guess I can say that. I mean, do I room for them if they're playing like an SC? Absolutely. But take them or leave them, I guess, for the Notre Dame fighting Irish. But I can't include them. And it's funny going through their schedule. They play a lot of ACC schools. It's hilarious. So I'm going to do them last. And then I'll have one more bonus episode for you guys. I'm going, I have to do a couple more teams, man. It's just not right. I'm done with the ACC. So if you're an ACC fan, I'm sorry. That bow is tied. That present is sitting there. I honestly think only five teams can win that conference. It's got to be between Florida State, Clemson, Virginia Tech, North Carolina, and Miami. I can throw a couple of bonus teams in there, Louisville, and NC State. One of those teams is going to make the costable playoff as the ACC champion. I would, I'd say like a 95%, you know, certainty that it's going to be one of those seven teams, more than likely a Florida State or Clemson. Like I said, I've done Virginia Tech, North Carolina, and Miami as well. It's got to come from the, it's a smaller conference. It's not the big 10. It is not the SEC. It's just one of those conferences that's, it's going to, it's losing it a little bit of luster. It could be the next conference that just dissipates. I really do believe so. Like I said before, Florida State and Clemson are, you know, looking over the fence and seeing if the grass is greener on the other side and looking at Big 12 and of course the SEC. But from what I'm hearing, the SEC is not taking any new members at least anytime soon. And I wouldn't be surprised if the Big 12 takes them up. And then after that, it's, it's all, you know, everybody for themselves. If the big boys start going and searching for other, you know, like I said, greener pastures, all the little or schools, all the middle tier schools will start reaching out as well. It happened a couple of years ago with, like I said, with USC, Oregon, and Washington, the big boys at the PAC 12 start shopping around. You better start reaching for something before you end up like, you know, Washington State and Oregon State, just sitting there by yourselves, you know, pretty much playing with yourselves. So definitely going to do a couple more big 10 schools. I want, I wanted to do USC. I really do. But like I said, I'm running out of time. I still have a couple more episodes for you guys. And then before you know it, I'm doing week one preview show very, very soon. So I'm going to do Wisconsin. I just think that is a sneaky team. Is it a team that's, are they going to be favored in a lot of their big 10 games? Not necessarily. But I think it's a team that could make noise. I like Luke Fickle. I like their schedule as well. It shapes up really, really nice. And Oregon, I got to do Oregon, right? You know, definitely a team, kind of like a Washington, kind of like a USC as well, going into their new conference that I think they could win. Yes, it's going to be a knockout drag out fight in the big 10, just like I was talking about the SEC the last time we talked. It's very knotted up at the top. There's so many really good schools in the big 10 for me to not do more than five. I'm going to end up doing seven big 10 schools. I'm going to do one extra big 12 school. I want to do Colorado. I could have done Kansas, the Jayhawks, one of those teams that's could make some noise. And I was thinking about UCF, the Golden Knights, it's definitely another team that I think could make some noise. So if you want to underdog, look into Kansas and look into UCF this year, I think if it's not going to be an Oklahoma state, a K state, a West Virginia, Utah, Arizona, maybe even tech, it could be one of those schools. Colorado, I don't think, is going to be one of the best schools in big 12 this year. I can't say that yet. I just think they're just one of those teams. It's all bark and no bite. And their schedule is pretty tough too. So I just want to enlighten people on Colorado because I know they're going to be a team that's going to get a lot of highs. So it wouldn't be fair if I didn't talk about the Colorado Buffals. And then I'm going to go to the SEC. So I'm going to do four schools next week. I'm going to do Wisconsin, Oregon, Colorado, and I'm going to do Tennessee, the volunteers of the Southeastern Conference. I wanted to do Missouri as well. But like I said, I'm running out of time. I want to do as many teams as possible. But it takes a lot out of me. And I still got shows to do. I still got to do my Heisman Show. I still got to give you guys names and guys to look out for that could be hosting, you know, hoisting that trophy at the end of the year as the college football MVP. So I still got to do that one. And I'm going to conjoin that episode with a couple of coaches. I'm just going to throw out some names. Just say, Hey, this coach needs to win this year, or they will be looking for a new head coach, you know, next year, or not even next year, you know, later in the year, do that one just to conjoin to show with that one. And then it's it's week one preview, and it's going to be here. So like I said, I have two shows after today. And then it is time to get into it because it will be right around the corner. And I want to start getting back into that routine of an early show earlier in the week and previewing. And then I'll start the week after week two will be a preview of week one. And then later on that week preview, yada, yada, yada. So without further ado, let's get into this G five, you know, the greater five nine power four schools. Like I said, I'm going to do the Mountain West conference, representative, the team that I think could win. I mean, there are some pretty good schools in the Mountain West, I think it's one of the deeper non power five conferences. I if you want a long shot, I will throw Wyoming out there. I think this was a team that took pretty good steps for last year. And it all started with beating the Texas Tech week one, maybe even Air Force or Fresno. But I got to go with the tried and true team. The team that has showed me more over the past 10 years than a lot of other schools have, because like I said, when I think of greater five non power four, I think of a Boise State, I think of a two lane. I think of an Appalachian State. Uh, like I said, but I'm predicting Boise State to win the Mountain West conference. So let's go through their schedule. Ryan Seacrest here. August 31st or season starts. They take a road trip and go to Georgia Southern. Like I said, Boise State just has too much talent. They can recruit with a middle tier big 12 team. They can get some good guys to go play at Boise for sure. So they beat Georgia Southern August 31st. September 7th though, here we go. This is a tough, tough game. They got to go to the Otsun Zoo to play the Oregon Ducks. And I do believe that that is another team. A not only even though that they're sneaky anymore, they don't sneak up on anybody. 8,000 different, you know, uniform combinations coming out with some new ones this year as well. So I'm not going to lie. Some of the coolest shit out there when it comes to uniforms. But you know, they just don't perform and they're in a harder conference now. So it's even tougher for Oregon, but I'm definitely going to do their schedule next week. So back to Boise State, they take a trip not real far either to Oregon to play the Oregon Ducks and they're going to lose September 7th to the Ducks. September 14th they're by, like I said, I'm not a fan of having your buy in the first couple of weeks of the season. It sucks. It's just one of those things. It's going to happen to some teams. September 21st, they have two weeks to prepare for Portland State. This is actually their home opener. You know, it is their third game of the season, the fourth week of their season and they're finally playing a home game. So you know, the blue field is going to be rocking and they're going to beat Portland State September 21st. September 28th, I'm going to start next to this game. If the Portland State game gets a little sloppy, this could worry me this week right here of September 28th. They welcome in Washington State. Sneaky, sneaky team. I think, my Texas Tech Red Raiders, we go to Pullman to play Wazoo this year. I think teams like Oregon State and Washington State are still have a lot to prove. I think if one of those teams wins 9-10 games this year, they can get an invitation to go to a big 12 or a big 10. I don't think they want to go and play in the Mountain West Conference. I mean, I really don't. I think they would rather hold on to that Pac-12 banner as long as they can. And maybe the Pac-12 can start sucking up some of these smaller schools from these greater five non-power four schools and make the Pac-12 relevant again. But I think just because Washington State's going to the blue field, I think that's definitely one of the more interesting home-filled dynamics when it comes to college football and, you know, tradition and stuff. Boy, the state's pretty good at home. So I'm going to give them that win there and I'm not necessarily going to say that that's an upset either. Don't know much about Washington State this year. Wazoo is a very big question mark. But I think they're going to come out with their hair on fire this year and they're going to upset some people. So I did put a T next to it and a star Washington State could win this game. But I think Boise State pulls it out and beats Wazoo September 28. October 5, Utah State. This is their third straight home game. The Aggies of Utah State after a, you know, hard fought game against Washington State the week before. Yeah, the Utah State's game is going to be pretty interesting. I should have put a T next to it just because they're going to get up for the Washington State game a little bit more. And I know it's it's very cliché to say that, you know, every game is very serious. But sometimes you just practice a little bit harder, you know, for some teams. So be wary of Utah State October 5, but I think Boise pulls it off. On October 12, this is not a bad away game. I mean, hell, I would not mind this at all taking a trip to Hawaii to play the Warriors. It used to be the Rainbow Warriors, by the way, but they dropped that. I wonder why, but we're not getting into that. Could be interesting, but I do believe they go to Hawaii and beat the Warriors. October 19th is their buy. I think that's a perfect buy going to Hawaii. I do believe that is a really, really long trip. I know you're going to be on a plane for more than eight hours. Heck, I don't even know it could be 10 or 12. I really don't know. So that buy is going to be very, very well needed. October 26th is their next game. They take a road trip to UNLV to play the Rebels. Could be a trap game with the buy week before, but that gives them an extra week to prepare for UNLV so they win. November 2nd, San Diego State comes into the blue field at Boise. I thought about putting a trap game right here, but I do believe San Diego State lost their head coach, if I'm not mistaken to Arizona. So this could be a team in turmoil. Maybe not as good as they were last year and Boise State's playing at home. So I see that as a win. November 9th, they welcome in the Nevada Wolfpack yet again, another team. Oh, sorry, San Diego State. Yeah, sorry. San Diego State the one that we could just what I just talked about. That's not I got the wrong state mixed up in there. Sorry. Yeah, they be San Diego State handily. Sorry. November 9th, Nevada comes to town yet again. Don't know much about them. They're not one of the teams that I have listed as a conference potential conference champion. Could they have a great year? Sure. But Nevada has to go to Boise. So I'm going to give Boise State the Broncos that win November 9th. November 16th, this is it. San Jose State. They're going to San Jose State. Yes, they lost their coach to Arizona. I want to say. Yeah, I do believe so. And yeah, could be very interesting game at San Jose State too. Very interesting. I do have a trap game next to this. San Diego State and Nevada and UNLV, the last three games, not exactly prime competition. I know, like I said, I'm sleeping on those schools, but I don't know. I'm gonna I'll still say they win November 16th at San Jose State. They went November 23rd. Here we go. This is a star game. This is a trap game as well. Hey, they take a trip to Wyoming to layer me to play the Wyoming Cowboys. This is a team that I think if they have a good year, like they had last year, this could be a team that could potentially play the amount of conference championship game and win it. And you know, get a spot in the college football playoff. Watch out for the Wyoming Cowboys. Mmm. Man, that's tough. And this is a tough stretch. I'm about to do November 30th after this game. That's even another tough game. I'm going to do it, man. I'm going to give them a loss right there. November 23rd. They take trip to Wyoming and lose to the Cowboys. November 30th is their last game of the season. And they're playing another Pac-12 team. They're playing the Oregon State Ducks, our beavers. Sorry. Got that Oregon's mixed up my fault. Oregon State, the beavers come into the Bluefield. Could be a good team. I mean, I'm not bullshitting at all. Damn. But yeah, the week before loss to Wyoming, yeah, you got to win this game for sure. You beat Oregon State November 30th, but don't be surprised if there is a two-game losing streak at the end of the year for Boise State. Kind of hurts their chances at going to play in the conference championship for sure. I mean, this is a tough schedule, I think. Going to San Jose State, I know they don't have. It's a brand new first year head coach. The San Jose State from Moana, remember last year was pretty decent. Going to Wyoming, hard place to play. You play the two Pac-12 schools in Washington State and Oregon State, and you play Oregon at the first of the year. So Boise State's got a, you know, they got a trek. You know, they're going to have a hard, hard year to hoist that Mountain West Conference championship. All right, moving on. We're going to the Sun Belt, and we were talking about the JMU Dukes last year's champ. And like I said, darlings of the college football last year. Let's go through their schedule first, August 31st. Take a trip to Charlotte. I want to stay the 49ers. I really want to say that is who that team is. But regardless, 49ers, 76ers, 69ers, it don't matter. JMU beats Charlotte August 31st. September 7th, they play their first home game and they welcome in Gardener Web. Yeah, don't know anything about them. That's a win for JMU, September 7th. September 14th, here we go. Just like Boise State, the team that I just did, JMU gets their first buy. Third week of the season, not ideal. Here we go. September 21st, first true test. They go to North Carolina to play Tariels. And as you know, I keep up with all these scores. It's not scores, but all these games and record predictions. And JMU goes to North Carolina and upsets the Tariels. And that's going to be an upset. Like I said, that one will probably be on my week for preview show because I think it's going to be a good game. You would see UNC versus JMU two years ago. And you would say, oh, North Carolina is going to beat this shit at a poor JMU. I don't even know who JMU is. But I think the wheels are going at JMU. And I think UNC could take steps backwards and send Mac Brown off into the sunset. So September 21st, they go to North Carolina and get the upset win. September 28th, they go home and they welcome in Ball State. That is a win. October 5th, they take a trip to Louisiana to play the Monroe. Yeah, Louisiana Monroe. You know, it's not LSU. It ain't too lame. Louisiana Monroe, they are going to beat them. October 5th. Here we go, though. This is very interesting right here. Thursday, October 10th. So five days later from playing a road game, they're going to come home and play the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers. And I do believe that is a team that if it's not going to be JMU, it's not Appalachian State. Coastal Carolina, the Chanticleers could win this conference. So I put a star next to this. I put a T next to this. That is a quick turnaround after a road game. I know they're playing at home, but oh man, that's tough. I'm going to do it, man. I am sorry, Mr. Howard Poole. That just scares me to death, having two games within five days. Oh, that's not good. I know it, and it's a home game too for JMU. So I feel even worse, but JMU can't go undefeated. I mean, their schedule's just pretty tough, but let's go through the rest of it as the hard goes. October 19th. Take a trip to Georgia Southern. They get a, you know, that's a good bounce-back game after losing the Coastal Carolina the week before. They beat Georgia Southern at Georgia Southern. On October 26th, they welcome in Southern Miss. You know, the only thing I know about Southern Miss, that's what Brett Favre used to play. So can't say anything much else about them. Besides, they're going to lose to the JMU dukes. The member second is their last buy. I think that is ideal. They have played some pretty good schools in between their September 14th buy and their November 2nd buy, especially with Coastal Carolina, wedged in between a couple of little games. This could be a good time to get right, numb, nurse your injured, lick your wounds, yada yada yada. November 9th, Georgia State comes into your house. You had two weeks to prepare for Georgia State. There's no excuse to have two weeks to prepare for somebody and you lose that game and you're playing at home. November 16th, take a road trip to Old Dominion. I don't know much about them. To be perfectly honest with you, JMU wins. Remember, 23rd, here we go. This is going to be a team. It's got to be reckoned with. Not sure. I'm pretty sure. I hope JMU and Appalachian State are rivals. I mean, Appalachian State is a lot like Boise State. You see them on your schedule? Be prepared. You are in for a knockout drag out fight. Those little guys pack a powerful punch, just ask the Michigan Wolverine. I'm bringing up bullshit. My fault. They got a win. Appalachian State, I do believe it has a great year as well. They have a great home-filled advantage as well. Appalachian State does. But, JMU is just a little different. They squeak out a very narrow win at Appalachian State and I would consider that upset. I think Appalachian State would be the favorite in that game for sure. So, November 23rd, they take a trip to Mountaineers. Yeah, Appalachian State Mountaineers and beat them November 23rd. November 30th, last game of the season, they welcome in Marshall. And yeah, that's a win right there. Your last home game, you know, send the seniors out right with a dub and that looks like they're going to go 11-1. And just FYI, Boise State with 10 and 2 that I just did. So, that's a great, that's a good year. Could it be a little bit more though? Absolutely. I mean, they should beat Coastal Carolina but then those two games scare the heck out of me within five days of each other and go into North Carolina. I know I predicted that as an upset but it could be the other way around. North Carolina could play a great game and just wax jam. They're going to have the better players, the better coach, you know, better facilities, so on and so forth. UNC should win that game. And then November 23rd, at Appalachian State, this could be a 9-3 team. You know, I'm not going to predict that but I'll be surprised that January takes a little step backwards because they kind of did last year. I remember they were getting a lot of hype, a lot of people talking about them and I think they lost somewhere towards the last three or four weeks of the season that they probably shouldn't have lost to. And that could be it right here for this year for them going to Appalachian State for sure. And like I said, Coastal Carolina and North Carolina, this could be a tough schedule for JMU. All right, moving on. Last but certainly not least, the Notre Dame fighting Irish. Could they could do it? Absolutely. They could have a great year and be a 5 to 12 seat because they can't get a 1, 2, 3 or 4 because that is going to be of course, like I said, ACC, big 10, big 12 and the SEC champs that get that first round by. So I'm thinking Notre Dame needs to sign on a dotted line at some point in time because if you want to be respected, if you want to get that first round by in your future, sign to a conference so you can get that by. You can get that extra week and just sit back, watch, relax and watch the chaos become that is this 12 team playoff and they're talking about even making it even bigger. 14, 16, I think that's a little crazy but it's going to be great for college football. But here we go. And like I said, I keep up with all these schedules. Best record Notre Dame can do is 11 and 1 because they played Florida State over the night. Like I said, I keep up with every single one of these that I've done and they lose to Florida State and over the night. So the best they can do is 11 and 1. So let's go do the schedule. August 31st, this is a doozy. I think this is going to be probably one of the best games along with the likes of Clemson, Georgia. There is some really, really good week one matchups and I think this one's going to be great. Notre Dame takes a trip down to Texas to play the Texas A&M Aggies. Could they be asleep in giant? Absolutely. Hadn't even talked about the Texas A&M Aggies much. I'm not doing their schedule. I just think they are along the lines of a Penn State, Wisconsin of the Big Ten. Their big brother is back in their conference and Texas A&M hasn't exactly done very good since being in the SEC. So they take steps back. They're going to have to fight for the seventh or eighth best to be the seventh or eighth best team in the SEC this year. So could they upset Notre Dame? Absolutely. They're going to get up for this game. This is the home opener for the Texas A&M Aggies. That's going to be a rock and ass crowd, but coaching. I got to give it just a little bit to Notre Dame. I do believe Texas A&M is bringing in a first year head coach and I don't even know his name to be perfectly honest with you. I'm not even sure who the head coach of Notre Dame is, but I know he's been there for a couple of years. So I got to give him that benefit of the doubt. This is going to be close. Very, very close game. Notre Dame beats Texas A&M at Kylefield on his 31st. September 7th. Come home, home opener, shut down Jesus. Northern Illinois, that's the Huskies. They're going to get that win September 9th. September 14th, taking a road trip to Purdue. There we go. They just played an SEC school a week before and then week three, September 14th. They're going to play a big 10 school. They're going to Purdue to play the Boilermakers. It's a big 10 school to play. Do we perfectly honest with you? I mean, if you want, if you could choose who you wanted to play, you want to pick a lower tier, you know, big boy conference, a phone it, you know, and you get some clout. You can say, hey, I beat a big 10 school. Yeah, it was fucking Purdue or Houston of the big 12 or Vanderbilt of the SEC. But hey, I beat at blank school. Hey, there we go. Yeah. September 14th, they go to Purdue and beat the Boilermakers. It's September 21st. They welcome in Miami and it's not the hurricanes. It is Ohio. I do believe that's the Red Hawks. I want to say that was Ben Roethlisberger. That was his on the motor. I'm almost positive. Yeah, Miami, Ohio goes into another day and they lose. September 28th, put a star next to this game. I think this is potentially the harder team that they've played. I know I kind of shit on Texas A&M and then, you know, the season opener. I think this team could be very good this year. That's the Louisville Cardinal. You know, of course, Lamar Jackson, this is a team that can make some noise. But if it was at Louisville, I'd give Louisville the win. I think this is a coin flip. I'm not real sure. This is going to be a two and a half three point spread when this comes out of course week five. But Notre Dame is going to win beat Louisville September 28th, October 5th. Very ideal. It's a great buy. You're five and oh, you get your first buy. I know you don't want your buys in the first three or four weeks of the season. Week five, week six and week seven is in great time for your first buy. October 12th, they get an extra week to prepare for Stanford, a new ACC conference foe. That's a long trip too. If I'm not mistaken, Notre Dame's in Indiana, I want to say it's in Indiana. Stanford, Indiana, that's quite a trick. And Stanford is not one of the best ACC teams, absolutely not. They beat Stanford, October 12th, October 19th, they take a road trip to Georgia Tech. You would think Georgia Tech, Notre Dame, Notre Dame should beat the brakes off the Georgia Tech. Yellowjack, yeah, yellowjackets. I put a trap next to this. I really do. The buy two weeks before Stanford, like I said, not a great, great team anymore. They could struggle against Georgia Tech right here, but they still win. October 26th, take a road trip to Navy. This is definitely one of Notre Dame's many, many rivals. They have quite a bit interesting. I did put a T next to this and a star. I never know, I know Navy is one of those teams that loves a triple option. You run it down your throat. I just don't know, man. I really don't know. I'm going to give him a win. Yeah, October 26th, take a trip to Annapolis, I do believe. Yeah, to play the Navy midshipmen, and they win. I remember second, they're last by not ideal, but this actually could play into Notre Dame's hands. Because like I said before, November 9th, the Florida State Seminoles come in to touch down Jesus to play these Notre Dame Fighting Irish. So technically, they would have two weeks to prepare for the Seminoles. So man, I wish I had known that when I did the Florida State Schedule shit. Anyways, I already did Florida State, and I said Florida State beats Notre Dame, but be wary. If you're a Seminoles fan, be very wary. Notre Dame has two weeks to prepare for you. November 16th, they welcome in Virginia. And of course, you know, losing the week before to the Seminoles, they're going to get right against probably one of the ACC's worst teams. Like I said, this isn't basketball. The Cavaliers of Virginia just don't scare you as much on the football field as they do on the hardwood. So Notre Dame wins. November 16th, hosting Virginia. November 23rd, they play another one of their rivals, the Army, Knights. Out of the three military, you know, academies, I'd probably put Air Force up there, Navy, then Army. Haven't really had that great a year in a while. I do believe they've been losing the Army in quite a bit at the end of the year. Like I said, one of my favorite rivalries is definitely in my top 10. If you want to go back and listen to that show right before the season starts, that's not a bad idea. Kind of refreshing course, too. So you can get ready. So when that season, when the type of this, we get to that part of the season when, you know, the iron ball comes on and the holy war, and, you know, some of the civil war, some of those games, you'll know about that because I talked about it. But, you know, I'm not going to delve more into that. I think they beat Army November 23rd. Is their last home game, too, by the way. So that's senior day. Yeah. Yeah, they beat Army November 23rd. November 30th. Here we go. Take a trip to play another one of their rivals, the USC Trojans, and they got to go to Hollywood. You know, they got to go to LA to play the USC Trojans. Definitely wanted to do them, like I said. But out of Oregon, Washington, USC, and UCLA, USC rubs me the wrong way. They really do. And Lincoln Riley rubs me the wrong way as well. There are definitely a school I do not like. I will root against USC as often as possible. It takes me back to those days with Matt Liner and Reggie Bush, Dwayne Jarrett. I want to say his name was Linda White. Definitely hated those old Trojan teams, for sure. And in this rivalry, because like I said, Notre Dame has rivals. I want to say it's Navy, USC, and Michigan. Definitely one of their big rivals as well. But USC's just, oh man, I can't believe I'm going to do this. I'm going to pick the USC Trojans to beat the Notre Dame fighting Irish. Ugh. Man, my bad if you're an Notre Dame fan, but hey, at least feel flattered I'm actually talking about you. Hey, you know, you're not even in a conference and I'm talking about you. So hey, I'm lumping you in there with the JMU's and the Boise State's and Toledo's and Liberty's and Tulane's. But hey, join a conference if you want to, if you think you're the shit, you know, I mean, because Notre Dame does rub me the wrong way too. I think they think that their shit don't stink. And that kind of annoys a lot of people too, as well. And that's why, like I said, you love them or hate them. So I get them 10 and two. I mean, I mean, losing three or two of your last four games of the season, that could hurt them in the rankings. Don't be surprised that Notre Dame starts the season ranked. They're one of those teams that, you know, they start the season ranked, you know, probably not top 15. I put them 19 to like 24, 25. They're just one of those schools, you know, I know it's a prestigious, it's an academic school. It's definitely harder to get into a Notre Dame than it is to a Georgia. I mean, all right, sorry about that. Just like with anything and anything and everything, things can happen. Yeah, like I said, having rolling blackouts around my neighborhood right now. So sorry about that. I was talking about Notre Dame, pretty sure they're going to go 10 and two. Now that should, that's, that does it for me. And that does it for the G5, you know, non-power fours. And next time I talk to you guys, I'm going to do those bonus schools, bonus teams for you guys. I'm going to go back to the big 10, do Wisconsin, the Badgers, I think a sneaky, sneaky good team. Like I said, I probably was talking about it a little while ago. I like Luke Fickle. Love their home-filled advantage. Definitely got to do the University of Oregon. I think this is a team. It's going to be ranked top 10 preseason for sure. I think they can step in day one in the big 10. I'm going to do Colorado just for two completely bash them, to be honest, and see how many things get one more than four wins. Because like I said before with this Colorado team, getting a lot of love. I mean, is it Dion Sanders? Is it Shader? Is it Travis Hunter? I mean, I know they have great players. I mean, don't get me wrong. But, you know, when you look at it, a four and 18 from last year, I think they're going to be maybe preseason ranked, you know, probably like a low 20s type team or even on the cuts, but 25 to 30 ranked team. But I'm going to go through their schedule too as well. And then last but not least, I will do one more SEC school. It's going to be the Tennessee volunteers. It is between them and Bizzou. I might change my mind. I might do Missouri after all instead of Tennessee. But like I said, I'd love to do more, you know, especially Big Ten. You know, I'm not going to do USC. But I got to talk about a lot of these schools. And I know a lot of these guys are blue bloods and probably a team, a lot of teams that to be honest, probably don't really care about or want to care about. But, you know, in this new landscape with 12 teams fighting it out for a chance to be, you know, college football, playoff national champs, a lot of these 75% of these, you know, teams are going to be involved, you know, most of the season, end of the season, it's going to happen. You know, like I said, I do believe there's going to be at least four Big Ten schools, at least four SEC schools going into this playoff, you know, one big 12, one ACC. But crazy things happen in college football. There could be one of these teams that just completely take over college football, like Arizona did last year, you know, just kind of came out of nowhere, when a whole buttload of games upset some teams. And I would love to talk about more. But like I said, I don't have the time because I still got to give you guys that little bonus of an episode of players to watch for, you know, guys that could potentially, you know, hold up that Heisman, of course, we're going to talk about your Carson Beck's and your Jalen Millrose and your Quinn Ewers, your Trayvon Henderson's, your Quinn Chud, Jutkins. Don't win a couple. I think his name is McMillan, the wide receiver for Arizona, Noah Fafida, the quarterback that's going to be thrown in the ball. A lot of the usual suspects are going to be the quarterbacks at the blue blood, you know, type schools. But I'm also going to start delving into, you know, smaller guys. I know Ollie Gordon, I'm not real sure what's going to happen with him. I'm almost positive that he's not even going to get suspended or anything like that. This is, that's definitely a guy I'm going to talk about as well. I know the Heisman is more of a quarterback driven award. But, you know, a running back, let's say, Taj Brooks out of my school goes for 2000 and rushes for 20 touchdowns. And you know, Leeds, Texas Tech 2, you know, 10 or 11 wins, you got to talk about a running back, you know, just same thing with a wide receiver. You know, it could happen. But I'm going to delve into that. I'll talk about some guys maybe from a JMU. Boysie Stade, Notre Dame, guys I just talked about, you know, when I broke down their schedule. And just give you some long shots because I mean, let's say if you're a gambling person, let's say you want to take like two or three blue blood type quarterbacks that are going to play for the Georges and the Texases and Ohio States and so on and so forth. And then I'm going to give you just a couple of other guys just to keep an eye on. You know, maybe they could win the Davio Brian. Maybe they can win the bullet in a cough, you know, stuff like that. You never know. But like I said, I want to get you guys ready because this is home stretch. You know, draft is over. All this stuff is over with. It's starting, it's time to get serious. You know, it is time to start getting mind ready and player ready because not just what I'm doing about the Heisman thing, it's going to be players that you need to look out for come into the season and going into the draft as well. You know, Jane Daniels, I'm pretty sure I talked about him in my last year's Heisman show. But a lot of people weren't expecting a I want to say nine and three LSU team with him leading the way for him to win the Heisman. It doesn't necessarily have to come from a undefeated team or an 11 and one team that makes the college football playoff because I don't think LSU even contended for the SEC last year. So like I said, anything can happen. And then like I said, I'm going to throw in a little bit of coaches. It's not going to be, you know, 25 coaches. I mean, I think Ryan Day, you know, I got Ryan Day as a coach that has a lot to prove. I think if he loses to Michigan again this year, you know, don't win the Big Ten, you know, don't make any noise in the college football playoff. You never know. He could get axed, you know, these blue blood type teams, when you assemble great teams and you have top five recruiting classes every year, you're going to have to start showing it. So I'm definitely going to talk about that. You know, I got to throw in guys like Billy Napier, a guy that's going to probably have a horrible year. But what do I know if the Florida Gators go eight and four, nine and three with that, you know, horrible, crazy, scary, just nasty schedule that they have, you know, this year, why not? And you know, I'm going to throw in a guy like Brent Venables, you know, Oklahoma with going into the big, I'm sorry, going from the big 12 to the SEC. He's got a lot to prove through to a think, you know, is he a head coach? You know, this is a guy that was a defensive coordinator a couple of years ago for Clemson. Was he pivotal in Clemson winning those national championships, you know, back in the day? Absolutely. But he's trying to prove his point as a head coach. But sometimes, you know, coordinators aren't head coaches. I mean, look at Cliff Kingsbury. He did his thing at Texas A&M, you know, learned a lot from guys like Mike Leach and so on and so forth and got at his head coaching opportunity at his A&M modern, you know, here at Texas Tech. And it just didn't work out. But that's all for me, guys. Like I said, please bear with me. This is going to be a rough and tough next couple of weeks. I will have three, at least three or four shows possibly for you guys right before the season starts. So be on the lookout for that. Like I said, you might have two shows in one week. You might have two shows in nine days. You never know. Like I said, it's all up to Mike and his schedule because we're still trying to figure that out. I'm pretty sure they're going to do their thing for the NFL here pretty soon. Start getting ready for that because, you know, a week after college football starts is they would believe it's a Labor Day week weekend is when NFL starts. So we got those guys, you got me, you got the Grimm going to be chipping in. I knew I do believe Howard Poole is going to be doing a show for our brand as well. Sorry, guys, my allergies are just really flaring up again. And of course, hopefully, I do believe Goose is going to come back. I hope so. I'm fingers crossed, you know, to do those Thursday night games, Sunday night games, Monday night games. And you never know, maybe a double J will come back in some sort of fashion too as well. Give us that insight on fantasy. But like I said, you're going to get shows. I guarantee you, I got at least a couple shows ready to go at any given point. But like I said, I want to get all this stuff done just for my off season outlook series. I don't want to copy that from Mike and them. But I love, I love diving into these these schools, man, looking at their schedule, where their buys are potentially could set up a mid-November match up with someone that is three and six at the time, three and seven, and they lose, because it's going to happen. It could all stay get upset by Purdue this year. Absolutely. Could a Alabama lose to South Carolina? Heck, you never know. Like I said, crazy stuff happens. I know I predicted a lot of these schools to win a lot of games. But some of these teams can fall off the planet Earth. I mean, they really can't. Things change in college football. And it's just a great time to love this game that is college football. I hope you're playing the game as well. Enjoying your summer, like I always say, being safe, trying to stay cool. You know, down here in Texas, man, it's starting to get bad again. Like I told you before, the last couple episodes, it was rainy and only got up to, you know, 95 and was the high for a little while. We're back in the hundreds again. So it's really starting to get summer. It's always around my birthday that it's really the dog base. But like I said, staying cool, having fun school. I know school is starting to start. I do believe school starting here pretty soon, actually next week, I do believe. I've been saying a lot of students around town lately. You know, I know Lubbock, Texas, if you do not know, or Texas Tech is located. A lot of students, they leave for the summer. You know, we're, you know, five to 10,000 students at any given time could be gone for months. And then you can kind of tell when they're back, because you start seeing more and more kids around. And I say kids because I'm up in my 30s now, high 30s. And it's just a good time. You can feel it. You can feel football coming around. And like I said, I hope you guys are ready because I'm going to get you guys prepared because like I've said before, I am a calls for ball fanatic. I am a nut. I mean, I mean a big sports nut as well. And I just want you guys to be prepared to be also, even if you're just an average, you know, a pedestrian college football fan, hopefully you listen to all these shows. And then once the season starts getting going, you're like, Oh, yes, he said something about this team, watch out for that team, watch out for this player. And I just like I said, call me Professor CM, because like I said, I like the grim said, you know, the guy that just knows college football, I mean, I feel like I do know it. But at the same time, as much as I do know it, I don't know it is the unexpected. You know, and you got to be prepared for that as well. So definitely going to get these in shows going out the next time next couple of weeks, so on and so forth. And I'll get you guys ready for week one. And I will talk to you guys very, very soon. And if you want to, give me up on X, you know, aka Twitter at Michael, you know, the way it's intended to spell like Michael Jordan, Michael H 5469. Maybe if you reach out to me in the next week and say, I am a zoo fan. I would love to hear you break down my my team and talk about it. Or, you know, you could be in anybody. I would love to do that for the fans. I mean, absolutely. It started, you know, last year with guys like double J, Howard full, reaching out to Mike. And of course, Mike reaching out to me. And we got in contact with each other. And I did it for them. And now I consider them friends. I consider them brothers. So if you ever want to do that, just reach out to me that on Twitter. And you can also do that on our social media, football function 2.0 on Instagram for an Instagram person. And if you're a Facebook person, we are on Facebook as well. The ball function, that's just all it is. Just look for that cool little detail. You know, that is our brand. And, you know, like comment, you could do it on there as well and say, hey, at, you know, CM, please do so and so. I'm a big fan of so and so. I hate, I hate that you badge on the Kentucky Wildcats. I would love for you to go into my schedule and look at it. And maybe even inform me because as much as I'd like to say I know college football, there's 130-something schools that could potentially hold up, you know, that college football playoff national championship trophy at the end of the year. When you think about it, everybody has a shot. But when I do all these schedules, it's always the same. I probably 10 out of the 20-something that I'm going to end up doing at all these schedules. I've got to make the college football playoff. It just is what it is. But like I said, be prepared, be get ready, super big 10, super SEC, lackluster, a little bit ACC and big 12. But like I said, I'm going to get you guys ready. I promise. Get the Patreon out coming on at a little over an hour. I'm sorry too if that lasts these last 10-15 minutes of the show. Kind of, I talked about it already. I just kind of forgot where I left off. Literally, I'm sitting here talking and you could hear an explosion. And I had to wait two hours to finish doing the show. So I had no idea where I stopped talking. So like I said, I hope I covered it all. I know I was talking about Notre Dame. I wasn't really sure what I was going into because I didn't write it down. It kind of freaked me out. But like I said, it got all situated and I hope you enjoyed yourself. Please get the Patreon app. You know, pay that dollar a month, you know, get these episodes ad-free, you know, unapologetic, you know, unfiltered CM just like, you know, got intended. All right, guys. So I will talk to you guys very, very soon. Big shout out to all the countries out there. I know I shouted you guys that last time. All the new ones for sure. New Zealand, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, Belgium, Brazil, Estonia, Spain. And of course, if you're in the United States of America, you know, from Maine to Florida, from Texas to Oregon to California to Montana to Michigan, Ohio, Oklahoma. Just throwing random states out there, Tennessee, South Carolina. I appreciate you guys as well, please. Just all I can ask for guys is promote us. I mean, we do everything we possibly can do to branch this show out. We want to be a big, big redwood in this huge game that is football. Billions of people watch, you know, the pigskin fly every year, not just college, but you have you have Phil, you have high school, you know, real big here in Texas as well. And then of course, you have your pros. I feel we have a great brand that is the football function in that. I feel that we touch every single part of football. And it's guys that genuinely love this shit. And we want to not just listen to ourselves talk, because I know a lot of people will say that, man. CM just loves to talk, which I actually do. But I just, like I said, I just want to spread the love. That's all it is, man. That is all I'm really trying to do. And then enlighten you guys, just turn a regular fan into a fanatic like me. Like I said, guys, I will talk to you guys soon. Thank you to all the the family and friends, young who you are, you know, Mike Ritter doing this thing over there as well, and Terry Minifield. I'm sorry, double J goose and the Grim Reaper, like I said, I already, you know, gave you props earlier for, you know, text me and giving me a shout out into your show as well. Howard Poole, he also reached out to me as well as long as the other and the other guys as well. Family and friends, Sean Old and Andy Lefan, Bell, Matt, Darian, Rich, Big Drew Drew, my boy Joe, everybody else out there, Bell. I hope you guys are still listening because I appreciate you guys as well. It takes family and friends to get that goal that you ultimately want. And that's just to be recognized as a voice of, you know, football, voice of reason. And I hope to hopefully you guys listen every single time that I make you laugh at least once or say something stupid, call somebody the wrong team in the wrong conference. I'm not perfect. I'm never claimed to be perfect. But like I said, I hope you guys enjoy it. Take care soon, guys. Take care. Take care. I will talk to you guys soon. With those that extra little bonus episode, like I said, I'm going to throw a couple extra teams out there. I don't know where I put that paper. Yeah, I'm going to do Wisconsin, Oregon, Colorado and Tennessee, maybe Missouri, not real sure. But like I said, can you guys ready? All right. Y'all take care. Hope you guys are watching the Olympics. If you're out, you know, across the pond like Grim Reaper, there's a lot of people out there that don't like the United States because the Olympics is just kind of a how many medals are the Americans going to win, you know? And if and I understand I would hate the United States of America if I was living in Belgium or, you know, Spain or something because hell, we win everything. And but it is what it is. I love you guys today. Thank y'all so much. And all the other, you can get us on all these podcasts, guys, Apple podcast, Spotify, iHeartRadio, Amazon, Audible, Castbox, Deeper, podcast, Attic, Pachaser, Jiao, Zabin, and of course, like I said, Patreon. So thank you guys so much. Take care of yourself. Like I said, stay cool. Have fun. I appreciate the summer while it lasts, because like I said, it is August right before you know what college football is going to start. So you guys take care, okay? Know who you are, know who you serve, know where you're going, and know what to do when you get there. All right? God bless you guys so much. CM loves you to death. Remember to love each other being nice and being and just as best person as you possibly can. Just remember that because you never know what people are going through. Nowadays, it's a tough time. And a lot of people's life right now. So just try to be good. I don't try to tell people to be good Christians because I can't tell people what they should and shouldn't do. Just be good people. That's just all I can ever ask for guys. I know I throw out these little sayings and stuff because Mike's the one that did that for me. If you say what is catchphrase at the end, I get to be honest. I'm drawing a freaking blank. I hear it all the time. Walk passionately in the direction you were dreams. And that's it's a great saying. And I want to just ride that coach out with him. Just always give you guys just a little bit of inspiration and a little bit of, you know, something to keep your head up, something to think about at all times. Like I said before, I love you. Love you each other as best as possible. Because of Mike loves you. Just remember that. Just, if one person listens on 20 or 200, I appreciate you guys so much on my heart. Just keep doing what y'all do. Just brand that I love on the show. Just have a lovely, beautiful night. That's all I can ask for guys. God bless. CM loves you. I know I'm rapping on. You guys just take care. I love you guys so much. God bless. Rack 'em. Hello. It is Ryan and I was on a flight the other day playing one of my favorite social spin slot games on Chumbagocino.com.
