[Music] What up, everybody? Hello, hello! We are back, super fans, Staley and Stoner. In the Hizzy episode, two, one, four. Who, fourteen? Uh, I got the man, the myth, the legend. As always, Mr. Staley, how you doing, buddy? Morning, trail, thank you. Uh, I am doing fantastic. How are you, my sir? Solid, solid, solid. Uh, you know, just, uh, trying to find whatever sports is out there to watch and enjoy Slim Pickens. Yes. Do you have the soccer? USA, Stogwater. They, uh, did not advance in the Copa. Nope. That's a shame. So no need to talk about them, although I did see, uh, the Burr halter. The one Gregory Burr halters from the manager for the last time. Four or five. Which made me warmer than that. He got the axe. Just like an hour ago. He gone. Yeah. So, uh, again, the USA. Soccer team is on the hunt for any manager. See how that works. So, uh, then we got the Euros. Euros are pretty cool. Pretty exciting. Watched a old England advance. They're playing Spain. I'm pretty excited about that because they have, in a pool of 37 different people, I am the only person that took Spain to win the whole thing. So, keep her eyes on that one. Yeah. That's the Sunday. Go in a little bit of coin. If that were to happen. But, uh, as, uh, as we sit, a July, we got 10. 10 or 11. Couple more weeks to a training camp. So, that's a thing. Excited about that, right? Yeah. Um, we are going to go heavy into NFL divisional breakdowns. That is that time of year. Yeah. I mean, what else will we do? Right? Believe it or not. We are eight weeks from the start of the NFL season. Not, not preseason. Cause we're like three weeks away from the Hall of Fame game. Oh gosh, that's right. It's freaking Hall of Fame game. It's footballs back. It's August 1st. So, it's, we're literally three weeks away from it. So close. I can taste it. Who is in the Hall of Fame game this year? Uh, the Bears and someone else. Okay. All right. So, I'm curious to see if Caleb Williams will suit up for that one. You got to think he'd play at least a series or two. Yeah. I mean, he's got to get him some reps, right? Because they get the extra game and he is already the presumed starter. I wouldn't be surprised if maybe he doesn't play in that one. But I don't know. We'll see. We should. Well, we're everywhere. Spotify, iTunes, iHeartRadio, Google Play and Instagram and Facebook. So, if you feel like following, we'll sit in on set devices. We'd appreciate it. Uh, with that said, it's a, it's that time we're just going to dive right in. Um, because that's really all there is, uh, in the universe. For us, that's really worth a damn. So, uh, it's football time. It's divisional breakdown time. It is time for the AFC East. So, without further ado, good Sir Michael. Staley, would you kick us off with, uh, when did the, uh, the jet skis? Well, let's start with the old, old New York Jets here. I'm just to ask ETS. Man, second year in a row of just, uh, super bowl or bust. And we, we really see how that paid off last year. Um, obviously, you know, Aaron Rodgers made it four plays into the season before his, his season ended. So maybe things would have gone differently. They finished seven and 10 last year. Uh, you know, offense, anemic. Struggling us. Zach Wilson, who's now in Denver, uh, you know, trying to, trying to lead the, lead the team. The charge. Yeah. So here's the thing. Um, you got to think that there'll be better if Aaron Rodgers is healthy because even at his advanced age, he's better than Zach Wilson because I don't know that there's a quarterback in the NFL. Who's not better than Zach Wilson. So that being said, um, this, this team is an interesting one because defensively, they are absolutely, uh, elite. I mean, third ranked overall defense. Uh, they were the 12th ranked scoring defense. But a lot of that is because of their offense turning the ball over so much, uh, in scoring position. Second ranked, uh, passing defense, they only allowed, uh, allowed 168, uh, yards per game passing. Um, and I mean, they're, they're lined up everywhere with, with playmakers on that defense. And obviously, sauce gardener is one of, if not the best corners in the league. You got. On facts. When in Williams, uh, one of the best defensive tackles in the league. They add Hassan Redick from the Eagles who is an underrated, uh, nobody really talks about him in the pass rushing game. I think he finished fourth last year in sacks and was in the top five the year before that. Yeah. So he's quietly an elite pass rusher that no one really talks about. So this defense, I think, actually got better because they didn't lose a ton of, uh, you know, they lost Jordan Whitehead, Carl, uh, Carl Lawson, uh, John Franklin Myers. But none of those guys are, I would say, like, oh my God, this is going to shake up the defense. So as far as this team goes defensively, I have no doubts about them. Um, you know, this is Robert Sala, say what you will about him as a head coach. He was an elite defensive coordinator with San Francisco. And at the very least, he has gotten his side of the ball right with the Jets because since he's been there, they've been a top five defense every year. I expect that to continue. Now, here is the question that everyone wants to know is what is this offense going to look like? Uh, because yes, believe it or not, Nathaniel Hackett is back as the offensive coordinator. Aaron really does love him some Nathaniel Hackett. Yeah. That's all the reason he's still there. It's a hundred percent. And it's not because of his play calling. It's because he's a good drinking buddy and they play cards together. Aaron Rodgers came out and said that. So a reporter asked him what made him a good fit for the offensive coordinator. And he goes, man, I just love Nathaniel Hackett. He's so fun to just hang around and we play cards and drink together and everything. And I was like, you didn't say anything about him as an offensive coordinator. Does he have anything worth a damn in terms of the football world? So basically, you're just hired and your best friends. Cool. Yeah. All right. So here's the thing. Aaron Rodgers, last year in Green Bay, didn't go well. Finished with the losing record, didn't make the playoffs. So that's the last year that we've seen him play. And he just didn't look like himself. And he was 38. Cut to last year, 39 years old. And going into the season, you and I and everyone else in the world both said. 39 year old quarterback behind one of, if not the worst offensive lines in the NFL. That's not a recipe for success. And four plays into the season. It came to fruition. So now you have a 40 year old quarterback coming off of a torn Achilles who hasn't played in two years. And the last year he did play didn't look great and he is expected to be the savior. And like most saviors, he's spending his time in the Middle East. He's been hanging out in Egypt while his team is practicing. So there's that. Okay. So it's official where he is currently. Yeah. Well, I mean, he's in the middle. But he, when he missed mandatory mini camp and everyone was questioning where he was, he had already he had already booked his trip to Egypt. So what is something special? What does the offense look like? Let me start off. They addressed the offensive line with their first overall pick, Olu Fashanu out of Penn State to tackle as of right now on the depth chart. I do expect this to change, but he is he's slotted to not be a starter. He is the backup left tackle to Tyrone Smith, who they brought over from the Cowboys. And this brings me to my next point. Your offensive line sucked last year. And the problem with the Jets offense is no one could stay healthy. So what did they do this off season? They went and got Tyrone Smith, a 38 year old, albeit a future Hall of Fame tackle. But this dude has not played a full season in like five, six years, including like the last three years. I don't think he's I think he's played a grand total of less than 10 games in three seasons. And now he's 38 years old. And that's who you brought in to protect Aaron Rodgers coming off at Torna Kielies. So what about the weapons? Well, obviously he got a really good receiver in and Garrett Wilson. And they they really bolstered it with with one Mike Williams, who much much like much like Tyrone Smith. A lot of the same issues, not as old, but this guy really likes getting hurt. This guy's elite when he's healthy, but that's never yeah, it's never. So outside of that, the the receiving core, you know, leaves a lot to be desired, you know, Xavier Gibson and Jason Brownlee, who a lot of people fell in love with when they were on hard knocks last year, both undrafted rookies who both ended up making the team. And now they're going to be, you know, the three and four receivers this year that drafted Malachi Corley, a receiver out of Western Kentucky in the third round. And then the running game, okay, you got Breece Hall, who appears to be elite, but Israel Abanaconda here and you didn't really get a chance last year, his fourth on the death chart as of right now, he's still fourth on the death chart behind two undrafted rookies. So that tells me he's probably not going to make the team. They brought over to this is who their starting offensive line is now, John Simpson is the left guard, he was with the Ravens last year as a backup and Mo, excuse me, Morgan Moses was with the Ravens last year as their right tackle. So they're only bringing back two other starters, Joe Tippman and Elijah Veritucker. And it's a lot of kind of plug and plays there. I just I don't have a ton of faith that this is going to be an offense that flows. I mean, if I'm being honest, Nathaniel Hackett, I think is in over his skis. They play in a very tough division as far as defenses go, because even the Patriots who are absolute dogwater were a top five defense last year. So even the bad team in their division has a good defense. So I think this offense is going to be challenged. Now the one thing they did do that I liked was I think they bolstered the quarterback position. They prepared a little bit more. They didn't want to be in the same situation they were in last year. If Aaron Rodgers goes down, you bring in a proven veteran backup quarterback who has tons of starting experience, Tyrod Taylor. And then they drafted Travis Jordan, the rookie at a Florida state who probably would have been a first or a second round draft pick, had not he broke his leg. I think it was like the week before the ACC Championship game. He was, you know, in the Heisman running, so I don't like or excuse me, I don't mind those picks up pick ups at all, thought it was great. I think they'll get out to a hot start. You know, they're on the road for week one against 49ers. I think that's a loss. But then after that, it's cake. In fact, their next four games are against four teams who are all projected to be in the top 10 of the worst win totals. So you know, Titans, Patriots, Broncos, Vikings, just bad. So I think they get out to a pretty hot start, five and one. But towards the end, I think is when the doors come off, and especially towards, you know, after week 13, they're at dolphins, at jaguars, they get the Rams at home, at bills, and then they get the dolphins at home. I think, you know, this is, it's, they'll be better than last year, assuming Aaron is healthy. But I see a lot of ups and downs in this schedule. I see a few wind streaks, a few losing streaks, but I just can't get on board with, with a lot of these other national analysts who are talking about, this is the year Super Bowl and Aaron Rodgers is going to take him there. I'm sorry. He's 40 years old, coming off an injury. And this team's offense is led by a guy who has no business being an offensive coordinator. I have them over 500. I got them going nine and eight. Right on. Yeah, a lot of good shit there. I mean, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm with you in terms of like, you know, Rodgers being old and coming off on a massive injury, not looking good the year before he came to the Jets already with his, with the Packers. So it already looked like he was very much on the decline, but I, you know, is, assuming he is fully healthy this entire win total, you know, prediction is based on him playing, you know, the whole season really, right? So I feel like because of how dynamic the offense is, this is really, honestly, a make or break season for a year for Robert Salah, I feel like a hundred percent. I mean, yeah, it's like he has to make the playoffs at the bare minimum, otherwise he will be out. You know, I think I feel like the defense too is good enough to eke out a couple more wins. I think you're really close. I'm right there with you, but I'm going to give them, I'm going to give them one more win actually. And I'm going to give them 10 and seven as the final. You know, I could see that. And this is a team. They have tons of pressure on them. Like you said, with Robert Salah, they have the longest current drought of making the playoffs. The last time they made the playoffs was 2010. So it's been 14 seasons. The next closest team, believe it or not, is the Broncos who won the Super Bowl in 2015 and haven't been back since. Yeah. So the next closest team is still five years apart. There's a big gap there. I really do. Just like though, I mean, yeah, Garrett Wilson is clearly dynamic, Breece Hall again coming off an injury, but if he plays the whole season, damn near all of most of it, a dynamic running back as well. So you've got and then, yeah, I mean, they brought in Mike Williams, but did they bring in Gabe Davis too? No, the Jaguars. Jaguars got Mike. Oh, Gabe Davis. Yeah. Right. Yeah, regardless though, I feel like this is, you know, a team that will be improved based on, you know, some plug and play guys and, you know, enough, you know, on offense and the defense that clearly is, you know, straight fire. So yeah, I'll stick with the 10 and seven. All right. Talk to me about the Miami Dolphins. Whoo. Man. This is a team. Oh, they're explosive, man. They're explosive finished 11 and six and, you know, brought in a speed and dynamic. I mean, we're talking about the defense side of the ball. This chop, chop Robinson, man, was one of the many, many very gifted defensive linemen going into this draft and, I mean, the fact that he fell to the Dolphins, I think they were very happy about that. I think you'll pair up really well with, you know, other guys on the line, like Phillips, love Jalen Phillips. I mean, Clay's Campbell came over Bradley Chubbs there, you know, that's secondary. They're really like the safety, Jovan Holland, as well as, I mean, Jalen Ramsey's still there. So additions to man, like they actually went out and spent some money. Jordan Poyer is now in the secondary to pair up with Jovan Holland. Yeah. Broad and Shaq Barrett. John, who Smith will now be their starting tight end, hats and flashes with the Mike Hoseki. But I think John who will be an even more stable addition their tight end, Isaiah Nguyen to kind of plug in out on the offensive line. He's a big body offensive guard, Braxton Berrios, your boy, white player receiver, you know, he's in a, you know, slide right into the slot there, you know, alongside Jalen Waddell and Tyreke. So, you know, I mean, I'm paper this offense looks, you know, really dynamic as I already stated, but, and I'd even mention that the one two of the running back, I think it was, I heard recently that they do have the two fastest running backs in the league with most start and a chain. I saw some ridiculous, like, next level advanced stat last season that the 10 fastest in-game runs, nine of them were either most or any chain. That's wild. Yeah. The wild that they just kind of, and I feel like coming out of college, what do we even go to? Texas A&M. That's right. That's right. Yeah. I just wasn't, I didn't see many A&M games or watch a bunch of his tape to see just how freaking, speaking of again, explosive, loving that word right now for the offense. Yeah. I mean, yeah. So, this team on paper, I feel like on both sides of the ball has every reason to be a very competent team, not just in the AFC East, but in the AFC. All of this, as we know with all teams, is going to fall squarely on the most important position on the field and that is the quarterback. So, to, you know, had a pretty solid year, I've threw for over 4,600 yards, 29 touchdowns, only 14 picks. But we know this. The health is a massive, massive concern with this dude. And it's really kind of troubling because they're concussions. And I would argue he's one more away from being legitimately forced out of the league. When the dude is fully healthy and being protected, I think he's one of the more, you know, impressive quarterbacks in terms of what he can do, extending plays. And also, he's kind of slowly gotten to like, to the point where he can like really kind of sling it and make those deep throws to Tyregan Jalen. Confidence isn't an issue with this guy. I mean, he's he's got it. I think Mike McDonald's is the perfect head coach for him as well. Man, but you know, I just, all of this for me to just ride squarely into it in his health, especially considering who's behind him in a Mike White, like that's a big yikes for me. Yeah. So, you know, to his got to play kind of like the Jets last year. Correct. Correct. And if he goes down, this, this win total will drop like in half for me. I mean, with that said, I think the dolphins are a really solid team, you know, again, playmakers everywhere. But this division is tough. It's tough. And I feel like it's going to be just a total boxing match every time they play each other to, you know, the three other teams they have to play twice, right? So I don't know, I feel that I got them. I got them taken a step backwards. Pretty significantly. I got them going seven and 10, actually. Ooh. Ooh. Okay. You and I do not see eye to eye on this. First of all, for whatever reason, they have one of the easiest strengths of schedules in the entire league. The strength of schedule is ranked 24th. You know, one of them else in their division has that easy of a schedule. And it's not... Man, when I was going through it, I did not see like a lot of like more winnable games than not. So here's, here's what I'll say. When I look at their schedule, it's very friendly. The first half, very friendly. It's the last half of the schedule that gives me pause for concern. And I will say this. I don't consider this team a Super Bowl contender because unless they get the one seat in their at home, I don't trust this team on the road in the cold. And you know, it's, I mean, we saw it last year in Kansas City. But that's my concern towards the end of the season. Week 13, which is the week after Thanksgiving. So last week in November, at Packers. Miami may very well be the better team. Do you trust them in that weather? Correct. No. Um, and then at Texans, that's not a weather game, but I think the Texans are better. I agreed. And then they're home for the 49ers. I think the 49ers are better. And then they close out the season in Cleveland and in New York, I don't trust them in those weather games, but all that said, I have them going 11 and six, same record as they had last year, but I have them losing the last four games of the year. So they get, they get out to an 11 and two start and then go 11 and six. Um, you know, this, this offense, you said it, it's explosive. They were first overall offense, second ranked scoring offense, first passing offense, sixth rushing offense. The O line is middle of the line, 15th ranked O line. And they were a top 10 defense. So there's a lot to like. They did lose some key pieces, but you know, most notably was Christian Wilkins, who signed with the Raiders. Uh, he's a big piece on defense, but ultimately, as long as two is healthy, this team will win a lot of games, especially on the front half of their season when the weather is good and when they're at home, the team is going to win most of their games at home and they're going to win most of their games on the road as long as the weather is good. Uh, it's the, it's the last half of the season that scares me, but I've got them stay in Pat where they were last year, 11 and six. Yeah, just work with there a couple of games. I feel like that you might be giving wins to, uh, that I don't is. I think on the road against Seattle, definite loss. I think the Patriots on the road, definite loss of the Colts the next week. I think Anthony Richardson, Richardson being healthy in that dome. Uh, I think two will struggle too against that defense. Uh, and then at LA and the Rams, that's, that's definite loss. So yeah, I don't know. I feel like there's a few more losses there that you don't have, but we shall see. Yeah. We will. That's why, uh, that's what makes this fun. So how about you tell me about, uh, the other team that, uh, we have picked here. You got those, uh, your boy, Mac Jones. Oh, speaking of losses. Yeah. Who's the, uh, Pat's, uh, starting quarterback now? Brian, where do you come back? Uh, it's where you're back as of right now. It is one Jacobi Bursett. Oh, they're, yeah, regurgitating. Uh, Jacobi Bursett again. Yes. That should be fun. Um, all right. Well, you know, we talked a few years ago. It's a new era moving on from Tom Brady. Well, now it's officially a new era, uh, no bill, bill of check. And I think just go effort on with this freaking cheerleading girlfriend and get caught on the door cam like a freaking big burger. Yeah. It wasn't an idiot. I'm sorry. Interesting choice and Gerard Mayo. Um, I know he is very highly thought of in that organization. Um, not where I would have necessarily gone, but you know, they're in the organization. They spend time with them. If they have trust in them, do you think Matt Patricia should have come back? No, I think they should have really turned the page and gone outside the organization. Yeah. Um, yeah, it's just a whole list of unknowns here. I don't know what I'm getting out of Gerard Mayo as a, as a head coach. Uh, Alex Van Pelt is the O.C. Demarcus Covington is the D C. Um, you know, I'm curious, obviously they had the third overall pick to get Drake May out of North Carolina. Uh, I'm curious when he, cause there's no way Jacobi Bursett's going to be the starting quarterback, uh, for the entire season eventually they're going to put Drake May in there. I'm just curious if it's going to be week three, week six, you know, Halloween, somewhere in that area, um, and then don't forget, they also drafted Joe Milton out of Tennessee. So they have, oh wow. They have two, that dude talk about an arm. Yeah. That, that dude can heave it. Yeah. Uh, so they have two, uh, you know, really highly talented, physically gifted rookie quarterbacks who are both, uh, you know, projects that was the knock on Drake May and, uh, people said he's probably the most talented quarterback in the draft, more so than Caleb Williams, but he needs a lot of refinement. And that, you know, I don't know if you're going to get that new England with his coaching staff. Sure. Um, we shall see, but whoever's playing quarterback is going to be at a deficit with the team that has been put together. Uh, so you get Jalen Polk, uh, rookie wide receiver out of, uh, Washington. He steps in and he's day one. He's the wide receiver. I want why because your other options are Kendrick Bourne, Demario Douglas, Jalen Rieger, Javan Baker, who's also a rookie out of UCF, uh, they did grab KJ Osborne, who was a proven good three, but that was on a team. That was on the Vikings. Yeah. That was on a team with Justin Jefferson and, uh, Addison. Yep. Um, so you got that juju Smith Schuster still on the team. He's expected to be cut though before the season starts. So I don't think he'll be around. I'm surprised they haven't cut him yet. I hadn't realized he was still actually on the act of roster. Right now he's listed as the eighth receiver on the death chart. Oh, wow. Okay. He gone. Yeah. Um, and then Hunter Henry, Austin Hooper, serviceable, um, like the only thing on their offense that I like is Ramon J Stevenson. They did add Antonio Gibson from Washington, but he is not a bell. He's so unreliable to me, he's, uh, he's a, he's an older back who's going to be good on third downs as a, you know, a possession receiver type of back. Um, they picked up shoe, so kapore from the Steelers for left tackle other than that. Their line pretty much stays the same, uh, which, you know, was the 19th rate to align last year. So not getting much improvement there. Um, this is what we're looking at with, with this offense, 30th ranked overall, 30 second ranked scoring offense. They were the worst scoring team in the league, 28th ranked passing offense, 26th ranked rushing offense. There's nothing good or reliable about this offense that you can hang your hat on. And I'm sorry, I know they drafted, uh, Polk and they drafted, you know, their quarterbacks. Uh, but I just, I can't see a scenario where any one of those guys makes such a difference to where you can drag them out of the depths of the NFL offense that they are in because they are legitimately, I mean, one of the top three worst offenses in the entirely. As I alluded to earlier though, the bright side of this team is defense. They were seventh overall, uh, ranked defense last year and they had the fourth ranked rushing defense. So I like that. Um, yeah, I just, I, you know, they went four and 13 last year. Yeah, dude. And I'm sorry. I was just not many, one of the games for this team, dude, on schedule. No, no. And honestly, as I was going through, I refused to give anyone an offer. Yeah. It was very generous with some of my wins because I went, like I was like, loss, loss, loss, loss, loss, loss. And I was like, I'm not going to go in 17 because they always win every team, you know. So, um, that being said, four and 13 last year, they're not making it there this year. Uh, I've got them going three and 14. Um, I just, I don't see where they are stacking any sort of wins here. Uh, and I, I really just don't have any faith in anything that they have on their roster outside of the one proven thing that I know they have is Ramon J. Stevenson. Yeah. Yeah. I would, this is just a team that's just in, uh, I mean, a full blown like rebuild and, uh, just a figuring, figuring it out, if you will, at quarterback and, uh, it's really just, uh, going to come down to just how soon do they, you know, just pull the trigger on getting the rookie, you know, all pets, you know, saying God help us, God willing, you know, the next savior of the Patriots, you know, quarterback and Drake May, uh, to get him on the field. Uh, interesting to see how he doesn't pre-season, but, uh, yeah, I, I could see Drake starting as early as week three or four, uh, if they start on three year old and four. So, uh, yeah, it's really going to come down to just a quarterback carousel, for sure. Uh, so yeah, I'm with you. I think, I think three and 14 is absolutely their sweet spot. It could be one more win, could be one more loss, but yeah, it could be three more losses. Seriously. I mean, that's just going to be, it's a dumpster fire for New England and I'm totally here for it because it's about damn time. Yes. All right. Let's, uh, finish up here with the defending champs, the team that has ran this division since Mr. Brady left it, and that is the Buffalo Bills, they had a, they had a weird off season, do you, do you still like them as the favorites in this division? Um, you know, I don't, I don't like, uh, I mean, they're going to, they're going to struggle, uh, big time. I mean, because I don't see how, well, I don't see how you can, uh, stay the same or get better when you lose the likes of, well, I don't know, say 27 of your best players. Yeah. I don't know if it's 27. I have the actual listing. Do you have a number? You have a number. Like they're best, like the best players that they lost. Yeah. And here it is. So, I mean, obviously we all know they lost, you know, they're not just best player in offense, but arguably best player after Josh Allen and Stefan Diggs. So he's gone. So start there, safety Jordan Poyer, arguably their best secondary player, uh, cornerback Tudevius White, if not Poyer, then it's Tudevius White. He's gone. Uh, he lost your center, starting center, Mitch Morse. Okay. Uh, wide receiver number two. So digs gone and then Gabriel Davis, he's gone too. And then how about throwing a couple linebackers, entire dots and then a linebacker, Leonard Floyd. Yeah. Kind of an important player. They lost their entire starting secondary. Micahide Jordan Poyer, did he do stop? He's, well, he's a free agent. He's not signed now. Okay. Hide. Poyer, Dane Jackson and Trudavius White were the two corners and two safeties. None of them are on the team this year. So strange. So we'll start there with the massive losses. Um, and I think all our starters. So you got to fill those holes, uh, who did your ethic at? So you know, you got to fill the holes with, with digs in a, and Gabriel Davis, who were 1000% your leading reception, receptions, uh, yards, touchdowns, all of it. And a key on Coleman from Florida State, uh, who I actually really do like, dude's personality is fire, but he's, he's solid. He's a big bodied receiver, two, six, four, two, 15 day one comes in as, uh, starting number one wide out for a show. So he has to produce like immediately, uh, if this often says any hope of being anything, uh, you know, running, running backs just don't really impress me. James Cook is fine behind him and Ty Johnson, who used to wait for the lions, who was a cast off. Uh, it's just okay. Hey, hey, they got Franco or junior. No way. They've drafted it, yeah, where did he play? Mississippi. No. Uh, Southern miss. Okay. So is he the number three probably? Yeah, number three. We're gonna bet. Okay. You know, tight ends. Kay. Cool. You know, Dalton Kincaid coming in year two, uh, Dawson Knox solid solid tight ends. I'll give you that. I will give you that, uh, you know, other stuff at the ball, the defense still is pretty stout. You know, guys like Greg Russo, uh, at least up front, uh, but I mean behind, uh, I'm forgetting. Oh, at Oliver's still there. So fine. Matt Milano. Yeah. Milano, you know, so you got some, still some players, but man, man, alive, are they gonna struggle in the secondary, uh, you know, so also can we, can we have an honest conversation? Please. Vaughn Miller. Yeah. I, I think he is, his days are done, he's still on, he's still in the rest. He's listed as the number two. He's now a backup. I'm surprised he hasn't retired. He's, he's not one of the starting, uh, Russians. Wow. But to Greg or Russo and I'm sorry, he's been in the league now for 12, 13 years. He's had some injuries, uh, has not been effective since that, uh, Super Bowl run with the Rams. I just, I don't think that he brings much to the table. So for me, why I feel like this team is going to, well, I think should struggle and inevitably will struggle is because what has this team since drafting Josh Allen been almost exclusively about and built around Josh Allen, correct? Well, now I would argue that it's, uh, only, uh, you know, intensified and, uh, been heightened, uh, by like bazillion percent because of those losses on offense. Josh Allen was before asked to do quite a bit and often did when all he has to. And I think is going to know that going into so many different plays where it's just not there and he's going to want to make the play and be forced into making the play. So I, I see a lot of opportunity for a lot more scrambling. I mean, the dude, we know we can run, but, um, I think that this finally might be the year where it takes a toll on them, uh, all the extra, you know, scrambling and hits, you know, thank God he's a bigger dude, but still, I think Josh Allen, he's, he's going to have to be careful this year because I could see a potential injury happening for Josh. And that would be, um, an absolute crusher for, uh, Bill's mafia. If, if he were to go down because also what I know where you're going. Cause also who's his backup. Well, actually remind me, Mr. Biscuit, I know all too well what that means. Man. I mean struggle, boss. That means much more losses than wins. Uh, they brought it. Okay. So fine. Okay. Curtis Samuel from the commanders, fine, you know, they did bring in your boy chase clay pool who's still just circulating the league, you know, still just finding some, some way to land on teams. I honestly don't know if he has five catches since he left the Steelers. It's just, it's just so, so silly, so sad for that dude. Yeah. I mean, what a fall from grace. He had such an amazing rookie year. I know. And there was just like sky was the limit and my God, and he just walked out of his rookie year. 14. That's crazy. And then it, then all that should happen on the off season, right? And then it's just, it started getting to his head and they started like getting all of his feelings. Yeah. Oh. It was a mess. Oh, but they did bring an MVS. Scanlan. Sure. That's exciting. Uh, I think he's like 39, 38, 39 now, I mean, so that's fine. Uh, again, fear it for me for, you know, just this, this team as a whole is how much Josh is going to have to do. And I think again, potential for injuries, every game is going to be sky high. Uh, Sean McDermott, I could argue too, might be legitimate on the hot seat. Uh, if, if this season goes south and like is, is really quite bad, uh, not just missing the playoffs, but if it like goes south and I'm talking like five or six wins, um, because that would not surprise me based on again, how many important key pieces they lost. So this is a team that is, man, I mean, it's, it's tough because despite all those, those key losses, I still feel like Josh is still such a dynamic quarterback and can, you know, somehow, you know, win games on his own because he's proven it, right? Yeah. But I still feel like, you know, he's going to be just having to just ask to do so much. So man, this is, you know, a team that was 11 and six last year, like you said, won the division, um, they're going to find ways to win games, but it's, it's not going to be a great season. I got them falling a couple of games back. I got them finishing eight and nine. All right. So this, the bills were the hardest one for me to predict because of the fact that they lost so many pieces, but at the end of the day, this is a quarterback league and they have arguably the second best quarterback in the NFL. Also when I'm making my predictions, I'm going off the assumption. I know it's not going to happen, but I'm going off the assumption that everyone's going to stay healthy. I'm not going to try to predict injuries and be like, well, I think this player is going to get injured. So that's going to affect their win total. So I'm going off the assumption that Josh Allen's playing all 17 games and with him playing all 17 games, we have seen even on games where digs and Gabriel weren't really involved in the game plan. He takes over with either his legs or his scrambling ability. There's been games that I've watched of them where he's scrambling around looking like prime big Ben, dug-in-off, you know, tacklers and everything. And then he dumps it off to some nobody who you've never heard of in the flat who takes it for 15 yards, picks up a first down, keeps the drive going. So he is absolutely capable of carrying a less than roster. I don't think he's capable of carrying them very far. But that being said, I do like Keon Coleman. I hope, you know, he's going to have to immediately be the guy. So I hope for their sake that they have gotten a good relationship going this offseason. I don't, Joe Brady, there's very, he's the OC, there's very little kind of background on him as far as being an OC because Ken Dorsey got fired midway through last year. Now if you're looking at it optimistically, they fired him because the offense was kind of looking anemic. It wasn't great. And they were six and six. And then they brought in Joe Brady and they won out and ended up going to the divisional round and the offense looked way better under him. So now with the full season of Joe Brady, you think maybe, okay, he's going to be an upgrade from what they had for most of the year last year with the play caller. Yeah, the offense leaves a lot wanting. You have really, you're putting all your eggs in the Keon Coleman basket as far as weapons goes. I think Dawson, Doulton, concator, a hell of a one, two punch from the tight end position. Offensive line, not a ton of, you know, they lost Mitch Morris, but they moved Connor McGovern over from left guard to center, which is where he was playing when he was with Dallas. Oh, Cyrus Torrance, who was their first round pick last year out of Florida. He steps in, moves over to right guard. So their offensive line has some, you know, they'll be able to congeo pretty, pretty well. They were ranked 12th last year. Offensively last year, you know, they were top 10 and everything, as you would expect. I, like I said, I really struggled with this one. I do have them taking a step back, but I could see them being in the hunt much like they were last year, rattling off some games. Their schedule on, you know, as far as the ESPN strength of schedule goes, they have the sixth toughest schedule, but once again, it's very, very easy up front. And I just, I think that they'll get some, excuse me, excuse me, that very easy in the back. The front, I think they're going to come out to a struggle. They got the Cardinals first week, that's a, that's a win. But then at dolphins, Jaguars, at Ravens, at Texans, at jets. That's a tough stretch. Real daunting. Four, four road games in five weeks and all of them are against either playoff teams from last year or the jets, who a lot of people will assume would be a playoff team this year. So it's, it's the back half, you know, they get the Patriots two of the last three weeks. I think they can get some wins there. But I, I'm going to go with my gut. I'm going to say, Alan is good enough to carry this team to a winning record. They don't win the division for the first time in four years, but I've got them going 10 and seven. There it is. All right. We're really close in a lot of these. You want to, so let's hit a player from, so the rookie class, we always do every year in these four to four teams, I should say, within this division, who are going to have what, like the most impactful season, correct? I'll stick with the Buffalo Bills, Keon Coleman, strictly because you already took it from here. Yeah, strictly because. I mean, he is going to just because he has to. He's going to get the most targets. He is going to be the number one guy. So if any of these rookies in this class, a lot of them like talked about, uh, Fashano with the jets, he's not even slotted to be a starter right now. I think he will be before the season's over, um, but yeah, Keon Coleman, I mean, he's just, he's going to have so much opportunity that unless he turns into friggin, uh, Johnston, like with the Chargers. Oh my gosh. Quinn Johnson. Just a complete bust. Totally. Uh, I, I think he, excuse me, he absolutely has the biggest impact of any of the rookies in this, uh, in this division. Garrett Wilson was a rookie last year, right? Two years ago. Two years ago. And he had a pretty dynamic rookie. Yeah. Yeah. I could say, uh, I don't know about rookie of the year for Keon Coleman, but I will say that stats will be definitely impressive enough to where it shows that this dude was, you know, uh, crucial for this offense. So I could see anywhere from 700 to 900 yards, uh, maybe even break a thousand. But I like anywhere from eight to 10 touchdowns as well, especially being the size that he has, he'll be massive red zone. Yeah. I'm in the, like the 850 and eight touchdown range. And I would not be shocked if he gets a thousand yards, just based solely on the fact of they're going to feed him because they, they really have no other options. Yeah. He's going to get fed outside of the side end. But as far as receivers go, he's, he's going to be numero uno all year long facts on facts, calling it two 14 in the books. Thank y'all for listening. Get your super fans of Staley and Stoner, episode two, 15 next week. I don't know what we're doing. And FCEs. Thank you. There it is. NFC East. I'm going to pop that one off.
