[MUSIC] >> Yo, what is Bap and Sports fans? Aaron and Stefan, I hate this team. Patreon episode, so if you're listening on the free feed. Fuck you, no, we are listening. Very aggressive. Woke up on the wrong side of the bed today, Stefan. >> Oh, yeah, I like that. >> But if you're listening on the free feed, and you want to listen to the whole episode, instead of just like a half of it, patreon.com/IHaitThisTeam, yeah, I had a dream last night. You know what's the obvious is? I'm talking about my dreams. >> Yeah. >> But there's this guy that I went to high school with, really nice guy, like the nicest guy in your grade type thing. >> Yeah. >> But in my dream, he turned into some weird tyrant, and he was like driving around. It was very kind of post-apocalyptic. >> Wow, okay. >> And it was kind of like a purge situation, where this really nice guy was the ringleader. And for some reason, I had to go out into the streets and defend some people or something, and I encouraged somebody else to shoot him in the head. And I had graphically saw his fucking head explode. And then I felt really bad, because the guy's like a father now, and I felt so much remorse. And then I woke up, and I'm like, oh, I'm so happy that guy didn't actually fucking get his head blown off. But I was stressing as I was sleeping last night. >> God damn, I feel like I haven't had a really insane dream for a while. Oh, you know what? I feel like, I think I did. It's one of those ones where everyone has trouble remembering their dreams as soon as they wake up, obviously. And let alone trying a few days later. But I feel like last month, I had a dream about rad milk. >> Oh, boy. >> Yeah, it's not great. A lot of ideal. >> Like the end? >> That's a way to put it, huh? The end of rad milk? >> Yeah, I think it was, I forget what it was. I just remember he was in the dream, so I don't know if that's exactly what happened, but yeah. >> That was a strange day on Twitter, and that was fighting crazy, yeah. >> Yeah, don't really want to get too in depth until-- >> No, no, we don't have to. >> You can google it if you want to, folks. >> It's pretty wild. >> Yeah, I wasn't watching Top Chef season 15 recently. And one of the last little things they had is you had to, they're like in the hotel that inspired the shining. And you had to make a dessert based off of like a nightmare that you remember or like your worst nightmare. >> Oh, wow, okay. And my most vivid nightmare that I can remember is I like traveled back in time and was like walking around in like a prehistoric time and then got attacked by like a fucking Sasquatch that like ate me to death. >> Jesus Christ. >> And so I was thinking if I was a Top Chef, I'd make like a chocolate cake that looked like a Sasquatch or like blood coming out of it. >> Oh, that's good. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> I've started watching Alone. I don't know if you've seen that. >> Oh, like a survival show? >> Yeah, it's on, I think the History Channel. I mean, it's on producer Dan's plaques, but yeah. And like Jesse's, it's a plex exclusive as far as I'm concerned. >> Yeah, I still have to lock up. >> Yeah, it's basically these like survival guys get like a crash course in like filming. For like, I mean, I think it's like, it's basically like a month and it's about a month crash course of like filming and shit. And then they basically go to the woods like by themselves and it's like 10 of them and they're just like trying to see who will like survive the longest basically. >> Yeah, look at that. It's apparently some Netflix. >> Oh, there you go. >> Yeah. >> It's really reindeer Lake Saskatchewan. >> I feel like maybe that sounds right. The first season they're in Vancouver Island, they're near like Port Hardy sort of. >> Okay. >> Northern Vancouver Island. And like, it's so funny because the very first episode, everyone like is like talking shit about like how tough they are, I'm not talking shit, but they're like, you know, I'm a survivalist. I make my own knives and stuff, all that stuff. And then there's, and they're all, no one is from BC. I think the closest guy, I want to say there's a guy from like Idaho or something maybe. And then there's a couple Canadians, but they're from Windsor and like New Brunswick. But the first guy, so the idea is it's whoever stays out, they're the longest wins $500,000, right? >> Okay. >> There's a guy who leaves in 12 hours. >> Oh man, how big, you'd feel like such a fucking pussy. >> For sure. But like also like rightfully so because he's being like basically attacked by bears the entire, like there's bears just like stalking him the entire time and he's like, >> Just him, like are they all together? >> No, they're all, they're all like several miles apart. >> That's why it's called alone. >> It's called alone. So they're all 10 people together. >> Exactly, yeah. So he's like camping and there's just bears like surrounding his tent and he. >> Fair enough. >> Oh yeah, he like calls, they have like a satellite phone or whatever for emergencies and he gets out of there like as soon as possible. But it was very funny because he's a cop. And he was like kind of talking shit and stuff. And then he says like the most, after he's leaving, just the most like, I mean, it's like such a cop thing to say, but he's like, I'm used to being the predator, not the prey. >> Good God, yeah, that is such a bad attitude to have, but it explains so much, you know, like anyway, great show. >> Irene and I have been loving that. I think you should give it a watch. >> We had like a naked and afraid phase, which is a lot of fun. >> Similar, I think, right? >> Is it couples though or is it like, is it just one? >> It's two strangers that are, but they're new. They're allowed to bring one like item, like survival. So it'll be like a knife or a fire starting kit or whatever. And I would say 99% of the time that someone like bitches out and goes home early. It's a guy that thought he was really tough and knew everything. And then, because it's always like opposite sex, right? >> Yeah. >> Yeah, I'm looking up some reviews of a loan on Google here. And this is a one star review. >> Okay. >> Season nine update, this is now just a hunting show. Not learning much about survival other than how to gut a squirrel. Disgusting, really. People keep talking about killing and eating bears. Like, that isn't an incredibly dangerous and stupid idea. >> I do think it probably suffers from, you know, any reality show is going to get worse like the further you get into it, obviously. And I think it is on like nine or 10 now. In the first season, yeah, it's Vancouver Island. I think they go back there at one point. But we're just on like the third episode. And a guy finds a banana slug, like a huge slug. And he's like so stoked. And he like boils it and then eats it. And it's just like, it's so nasty, dude. But it's really good. Like it's really good. But I would say like, or episode three, and I would say like four people have left already. Three of them because of bears or wolves or cougars. And one of them because he lost his little fire starter thing that they all have. And he's like, well, I'm like, totally fucked now, yeah. 'Cause it's also like Vancouver Island, like Northern Vancouver Island in like February. >> Okay, so it's so wet. >> And like impossible to start fires. And it's like three degrees Celsius. And it's just like, it's just insane. But I am loving it. It's a rush. >> They're rocks. >> Yeah. >> Check that out. So I wonder if DB has it on his Plex server. >> I feel like he probably does. I wanna say he does, yeah. But it's very good. >> Yeah. >> So we're deep into the summer here. >> Oh, yeah. >> It's, again, we talked about this last week. There was a guest that was like tentatively booked today. And they went again into the future. It wasn't Hasta if anyone was wondering. But back in like during the pandemic, I was watching a lot of like how to grow your Twitch channel with YouTube type content. >> Yeah. >> And here's really how to like grow a YouTube channel. What do you do when you're out of ideas? And the advice that I always say is like look at what a different style of YouTube channel you enjoy does and then rip them off. >> That's all YouTube is I feel like, right? >> Yeah. So like if you're like music, it'll be like I paid three drummers on Fiverr like between $25 and $1,000 to drum this beat for my fucking song. And here's the results. And then from that, you can be like, hmm, I wonder if I could get like three different people to write me a comedy script on Fiverr. And then you're like who writes the best script type of thing. And so I was like, well, what is some other podcast that don't talk about hockey do? And so I have a couple of things ripped off from other podcasts I've been enjoying. >> All right. >> Seeking derangements and guys, a podcast about guys. >> Yeah. >> Hey, by the way, if you're in Vancouver live show, guys in blocked party and not even a show coming up in October. >> Not I hate this team 'cause-- >> Not I hate this team. >> I'm just dirt on the bottom of fucking shoe. >> You should come out, you should come out for us. It's gonna be fun. >> It would be fun, when was it? You just said it. >> It is, it's early October. Let me get the exact date. Top three weekend, blocked party guys. >> Just queuing your own show. >> Yeah, fucking forget what that. It is October 11th and October 12th at the Biltmore in Vancouver. It's gonna be a good time. Brian in Vancouver, I think, is gonna be like a must, a must watch. Oh, it might be, but yeah, it's Friday and Saturday. >> So, yeah. >> Much to consider, I wanna go to Vancouver and I wanna catch a hockey game and the season wouldn't have quite started yet. >> I think it'll have just started then maybe, or it's like-- >> It's the NHL season start. It's around, I wanna say it's around then. >> Yeah, me just googling NHL season now. (laughing) Is this pre-season though? Pre-season, pre-season, pre-season, pre-season. Oh, well then. >> Is there at home? >> Well, I mean, I guess, but if it's on a Saturday, you're gonna be telling me to-- >> Yeah, that's why that-- >> Goddamn live show. So, yeah, like the flyers play in Vancouver on the Friday night, but like, there's a show that night. >> Yeah, there is. >> So, what about Sunday? No. >> Damn. >> Then the cucks are in Tampa on that Tuesday. >> Okay, I was playing like two games against Philadelphia in very close succession. >> Isn't that kind of the start of last season too? It was like Philadelphia, Tampa, Florida. >> Yeah, it was Edmonton, Edmonton, Philadelphia. Tampa, Florida. I think it was-- >> Tampa, Florida, yeah. >> 'Cause when they, were they two and two, at one point and we were like, "Ah, here we go again." >> Yeah, after the two Edmonton games, they lost to Philly and then they lost to-- >> Tampa. >> Tampa. 'Cause they beat Florida. >> Yeah. >> That was so crazy looking back at like, that was like kind of the turning point of the season, was like the fifth game of the year when we're like, "Oh, wait, maybe they are actually good." You know? >> Aw. >> Let's see, we got-- >> Yeah, they opened the season against Calgary this year. >> Okay. >> So that's better. And then, yeah, it's Philly, Tampa, Florida again. And then I think they play Philly. Then they play Philly at home. Yeah, so they play Philly and Vancouver. Early season, Torrela, you got Mitch Kyle in there. >> Okay, that'll be fun. Philly's a fun team. That'll be good. >> Yeah, I'm interested to see what they do this year, 'cause I like, still conceive of them as absolutely like a dog ass, but they got some pieces there. >> I like Tippett. >> Yeah. >> Connect. >> Yeah, absolutely. >> We didn't talk about this. What do you think of the connect me re-signing? It's like 8.75, I believe. >> I feel like that's about what his value is. The question is more like, does it make sense for Philadelphia, give them where they're at? But it's like, I also don't really know where Philadelphia is at right now. They have two really, they have young goalies, they have Earth's, and a lot young, yeah. >> Not young, yeah, that like the big guy from Fettotov, from-- >> He's like 26, I think. >> He's 27. >> Yeah. >> And then Earth's is 24, so that's like a bit younger. >> For sure, but they also don't know, like, Earth's in was like okay at the start of last season, then fell off once he kind of had to, they like played him into the ground, and then Fettotov looked pretty bad, but it's also like Philadelphia at the end of the year, like who knows. >> Well, that's when they fell off is like after Carter Hart was given the beat, right? So, like, but apparently they like Fettotov, he's making 3.275 for next season's. >> Really understand what they're doing, and then they have, you know, they got some, obviously, Mitch Cobb, and they have some fun young players, you know, but like, I don't know, like, I think it's the type of deal that in a vacuum, it makes a lot of sense, but you look at the context of like, like what is Philadelphia doing? 'Cause if you go to there like-- >> He feels like an over, he's already 27, right? >> Yeah, it just feels like what you give those types of guys now, I guess, is sort of what it is, but you look at like, I think it's like, you know, for fantasy hockey purposes, I'll often be in like, the HF boards page for specific teams, or like their subreddit or whatever, and like the flier subreddit is like, it really does kind of remind me of the Canucks subreddit under banning, where it's like 50% of it. I mean, the Canucks subreddit was like a different split, I guess, but it does seem like there's a big split, obviously, between like, we trust Daniel, Daniel Breair. He knows what he's doing, it's more of a retool than a rebuild, you know, et cetera, and then you have the guys who are like-- >> Jack off motion. >> Yeah, and then you have the guys who are like, we need to keep sucking ass, and we need to keep trying to get more like, young pieces and everything, and which I think they probably do. So it is-- >> Since you don't bring in Torterrel, it's a suck ass though, right? >> No. >> So, like the team last year did well until they didn't have a goalie. >> Yeah. >> And now you're putting Mitch Covid to the equation. I don't think they're a playoff team, but I see them doing about as well as last year. >> Yeah. >> I guess Connectney's issue is staying healthy, right? Like, he was a point per game in 22, 23, but only played 60 games. Last year, 68 points to 76 games. >> Yeah. >> So, I guess this is probably market value. >> Am I like-- >> I think it just wins. >> Like, how does that affect the Brock Besser deal? >> It makes it, it makes it so that's pretty much what the Brock Besser deal is gonna be, I think. 8, 7, 5, I guess it depends on how Besser does this year. My hope is that you could get him in at 8, which is like J.T. Miller money, but with cap going up, percentage of the cap, how good he was in the playoffs. I doubt we're getting another 40 goal season from Besser, but I mean-- >> Probably not. >> If he plays it's like, say, a 70-point pace, I'd probably what it's gonna be. So, that was like the real serious thing I had down for today's show. >> Yeah. (upbeat music) >> You know what the beautiful thing about being a sports fan is, Stefan? >> What's that, Aaron? >> There's only like two days in the entire whole year without a game. Two, with so much happening and so much action, that makes just about everyday game day at DraftKings Sportsbook. It's super easy for first-timers to get started, try betting on something simple, like picking a team to win. Go to drafkings.com, Sportsbook app, select your team, place your first bet, it really couldn't be any easier, or any simpler. So, this isn't actually a team, but did you know? >> You can bet on the Emmys. >> Really? >> Yeah, so, here we go. We got the best drama series. >> Okay. >> And this is happening on September 15th, so you got some time if you're listening to this later. Lowest odds, three-body problem, plus three and a half thousand. Mr. and Mrs. Smith did not know that was a TV show. >> I've watched a few episodes, pretty fun. >> Who's in it? >> Donald Glover. >> And then-- >> Okay. >> The lady from, like, Penn15, if you watched that. Maya Erskin. >> Is it like based off the same source material as the-- >> It is, but it's like-- >> The movie. >> It's like darker, I think. It's good, I liked it, yeah. >> The Gilded Age, plus 2,500. Never heard of that one either. Fall out, that would have been my pick from this list. It was also the only one from this list I've seen. >> Fall out. >> Plus 2,000. >> Yeah, it was really fun. The Morning Show. >> Okay. >> That's like the Morning TV network, it's a drama, right? >> Yeah, it's an Apple, that's an Apple one, I think. >> Okay, yeah, it's the thing, I don't have Apple and those shows just to me don't exist. Plus 1,800 there. Slow horses, plus 1,000. >> That's supposed to be quite good. >> I've heard of that one, plus 1,000. And the overwhelming favorite is Shogun at minus 1,000. >> Shogun was so good. >> And while we're at it for the comedy series, the overwhelming favorite right now is the bear at plus, or sorry, at minus 600. >> Okay, all right. >> The curb is also up there, plus 1,600. There's a reservation, oh, reservation dogs, I have seen that around, not Reservoir Dogs. >> No, no, that's a good show. >> Yeah. >> Yeah, it looked pretty funny. >> Yeah. >> Good list. >> Yeah. >> The options you can bet on them, so. >> Yeah, that's right. You know where you can bet on them at DraftKings. And if you're new to DraftKings, you gotta check this out. New customers bet $5 and get $150 in bonus bets instantly. Download the DraftKings Sportsbook app now and use promo code THPN, that's code THPN, for new customers to get $150 in bonus bets instantly when you bet just $5 only on DraftKings. The crown is yours. >> It kind of sucks with these new cap friendly, like Puckpedia and capwages.com. >> It's not the same, just not the same. >> Because they don't show total salary for next season. So I did some like back of the napkin math. It cooks up roughly 75 million in commitments going into next year. >> Okay. >> And they would need to, they have Besser UFA, Hogelander RFA, and then Puse Sutter, Derek Forbert, and Sprong as all pending UFA's. >> Okay. >> So you need like another center, you need to figure out what Hogelander's doing. And like, say the cap goes up by 5 million again, it would be like 93. So roughly the Canucks would have like $18 million to do their business. >> Okay. >> So far out that it's hard to say like where will Vlander be? Where will LaCara Mackey be? How does that affect some of your decision making? >> Where's like Ratu gonna be? 'Cause I mean, I think he's the type of guy that people sort of forget about. But like, I think like, they're in a situation where like, not this season, but this season after, that like all three of those guys could be on the team. And then you have this huge surplus value potential, right? >> Yeah, you'd hope. Like Jason Bucula was on health and abrupt this morning. And he said, make no mistake. >> If you landers playing his last season of College Hockey right now. >> Yeah. >> So whether we see him down the stretch of the season, whether it's in Abbotsford, which is what I would guess, assuming like the Canucks are competitive and vying for playoff position or the division or whatever, you're not just gonna throw in a 20 year old defenseman to- >> I guess that's interesting 'cause like, the big thing with like the college guys at the end of the season is that their contract will like, like they'll burn a contract year, right? >> Like that's- >> If they play the- >> But they have to play in the NHL for that to work. Like so if he's in the NHL. But at the same time, it's like, I mean, maybe he just wants to get there. And like, I don't think he's gonna do like a Ryan Leonard thing where he's like, I gotta go back to help, you know. >> No, yeah, there's not that like win allegiance there, right? >> Yeah, I'm really, I think that's a guy who like doesn't get talked about enough in terms of like, it's gonna be really exciting to watch him play this season. Because he should, in theory, be on the number one pair. The only thing is like, I think they have, they do have Cole Hudson, I'm pretty sure. Lane's younger brother, who's like not as good, but I believe- >> Also investment. >> Yeah, and he is committed to Boston University. So it's like, it's possible. But like, I think at the same time, the probably the way for them to do it is, you shift up Willander, put him on the top power play unit, and then Cole Hudson's on the second power play unit. And then when Willander leaves, you put Cole Hudson up next year, you know? >> Yeah, I think, yeah, like Willander's gonna have all the opportunity in the world. And I mean, his counting stats were fine last year. I know there's the people that actually watched him said that you'd like to see him dominate on the puck more. But I mean, he's a Swedish guy playing North American game for the first time. As a freshman, at a big university. I did, or college, excuse me, how dare I? >> Yeah. >> I'm still, I'm not like worried about him, so. >> No, no. >> Like, so if you earmark, like eight for Besser, gives you $10 million to fill up like a third line center, hopefully improve the defense. >> Yeah. >> So I was looking at pending UFAs. And the pending UFA, the UFA market next year could be kind of crazy for like high-end forwards. >> Yeah, cuz who's, let's see, 2025. >> I got it right here. Well, I was looking at it at Defenseman's. But you got like, well, John Tavera's, Mitch Marner, Mika Renton in, Beyond Dry Cytals, Sidney Crosby. >> I feel like Marner's the one who's real. Tomorrow's I think we'll probably resign with Toronto for like cheaper, is my guess. Marner feels like he's probably gone. Crosby feels like he's just gonna resign with Pittsburgh. >> I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet though. >> There was like talk of it happening like two weeks ago, I feel like, and then that just like fell off. Renton, I think, probably resigns with Colorado, right? >> Colorado's also in Cap Hill, like I don't have their next year pulled up. >> Man, Renton could go somewhere and just get like a massive deal. >> He's won a cup there already. I know we have a couple of Colorado fans in the Discord, so they would know better obviously. But like, I mean, their cap situation is not good, right? Like a quick math year, '56, '57. And then, well, it's the Neutushkin and Gabriel Land and Skog problem. Or I guess it's a hockey podcast, I should say the Neutushkin and the Land and Skog of it all, like they make $13 million. >> Yeah. >> And like, who knows? Like you would assume Neutushkin's gonna be back sometime this year, right? So that's like $6 million on the books. And then Land and Skog's L-T-I-R, god damn, he has five more seasons left of $7 million. >> Jesus Christ. >> So I know there's like juggling that has to go around there, but they don't have a ton of players signed. So let's see, what is it? >> '56, '57, '64. So like they have about 70 million in commitment. So let's say like $23 million in space, but they only have a six forward signed, four defense men and no starting goalie. So a lot to go on there. And if you're paying like Rancin' in the 12 million or so that he probably deserves. >> Yeah. >> That's gonna get eaten up real quickly, so. >> Yeah, absolutely. That is, man, I don't know, like, you're right that, I mean, Drycidal of course as well, does sound like he's potentially resigning with Edmonton. It does kind of fall off after that, but like, I don't know, it's tough because most free agent markets will look insane like a year or more out. >> Yeah, it's always like that, right? And then like they resign and it's just boring. >> Yeah, but. >> Who's up this year, you know? >> Marshall Show and Gensl and all that. But like the Canucks angle I wanted to take on this was that, well who, the defense obviously, there's like holes in it now. But I think compared to other teams in the, really in the league, you look at all the defenses and there's like holes in them, except maybe like Vegas. They're pretty solid top to bottom as like other teams the Canucks would be contending against, but like. >> Yeah. >> Shot for shot with Edmonton, probably depends on your bias, right? Like, I like the Canucks because they have Quinn Hughes, but I think there's a decent argument to be made for Eggblad over heroic. >> Yeah. >> In terms of overall impact, but Eggblad's quite a bit older, so you'd probably rather thrown it for the long term. And then the Canucks have like Carson Seussi, who's like on a way better contract than Darnell Nurse, but is he really better than Nurse? Maybe a little bit. >> Yeah, certainly on a better contract. >> Yeah, yeah. >> Which makes a huge difference. >> So like I'm like there for those arguments or whatever, but it's not like there's a night and day difference between them. >> Yeah. >> So it's pretty much an even playing field, I would say. >> Yeah. >> But like we do want the Canucks to acquire a defenseman mid-season. So, I mean the obvious answer is Rasmus Anderson, I think that's the one that we've like wish casted the most. >> Yeah. >> Our QAnon conspiracy for the Canucks is that Rasmus Anderson will come here. Which would be good given like the kind of cap space next season, but I wanted to look at like other pending UFAs that might be available. >> Yeah. >> On D. So, Shay Theodor, who you brought up during our free agency exercise. >> Yeah. >> Given the money that he's gonna, I just don't think that's realistic unless you are moving on from Besser. I haven't proven off. >> Yeah. >> So he's not, he's like kind of bad, isn't he? >> Yeah, he's not particularly good, he makes a lot of money. He's on Columbus right now, so you could probably get retention there. >> Yeah. >> Does he play on the left or right side? I forget, I wanna say he's left, but. >> Well, he's a home of a, we don't want him to play. >> There's that too, yeah. >> Jacob Chikrin. >> Got it. >> Who, some of his own Washington now. >> Washington wants to make the playoffs. >> Yeah, which I mean, I think proved so. >> They do seem better, clearly they're just like, it's kind of weird that like the vibes thing of just like, let's just get Ovechkin the record is like also kind of making them a better team, you know, on paper. >> Yeah, for sure. >> And then, okay, here are the two that I think are like the most interesting, either next offseason or in season. There's Gavrakov from LA, and I think LA. >> I think people mention him. >> I wanna say I've seen Drans, someone has mentioned him. >> Well, the cooks are rumored to be interested in him and he's a millstein client, and basically everyone was very afraid that the Canucks would sign him, but he's like big and defensively responsible, but I don't think necessarily available, the deadline, here's the really interesting one. Adam Larson. >> Okay, and Seattle should be bad next year, too, so. >> But, so I don't like the Chandler Stevenson or the Brandon Montour contracts. >> Sure. >> But did the additions of those players make Seattle better? >> I think they'll be better, but I think they're still gonna be kind of bad next year, probably. >> Like, I think it's an okay assumption to think that like, Maddie Beniers will probably take a step. >> Yeah. >> It's third NHL season, that's I think when those types of players usually pop off the most after like the sophomore slump. >> Yeah. >> Vince Dunrocks. >> He's very good. >> Then there's just like depth throughout the lineup, like, it's basically the same team that pushed Colorado to seven two years ago, if they can get like better goal tending, and they did approve around the edges by bringing in Montour and Chandler Stevenson. >> Even though those won't age well, so I could see, like, if you told me Seattle is the eight seed and like Winnipeg misses the playoffs, I wouldn't be shocked at all. >> Yeah. >> Like, I probably like them better than like St. Louis. >> I, yeah, it could happen, but I think you're right about Larson as a target. >> Like, yeah, he makes legitimately a right hand shot. >> He's Swedish. >> He's 31 still, he's Swedish. Like, I think that could be very interesting if Seattle is out of the playoff picture, but there really aren't a whole lot of, like, interesting pending UFA defenseman. It seems fucking legal. Like, there's Aaron Eckblatt as well. He's not moving anywhere. Wouldn't want to acquire him as a UFA. Jeff Petry, no thanks. Old as hell. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> They have Ryan Lindgren listed on here, but didn't he just resign with New York? >> Yes. But I think it's a -- >> Is it just a one-year deal? >> I think it was like a one-year walk to UFA deal, because he is going to be 28, right? >> Right. >> So, but they're also not moving on from him. >> Yeah. >> Alec Martinez, but he's like older than time. >> Who's he playing for now? >> David Savard at Chicago. >> Right. Okay. Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Ian Cole and Utah, that'd be funny. Matt Grizzlyk, Dante Fabro, but he's in Nashville. They probably aren't moving on from him. And then we're getting down to, like, Tucker Pooleman in salary, Ethan Baer, Nate Schmidt, Derek Forbert, Travis Hammond, he's still around. >> He is? >> Yeah. He plays for Ottawa. >> I thought, really? >> Yeah, yeah. >> Travis, how did it -- >> I believe it's also on the same deal that Benning signed. I might be mistaken there. >> God, that's funny. He played 48 games last year and had six points. >> Ooh. >> Oh, no, I lied. I lied. He re-signed in Ottawa for two seasons. I remember, like, I don't know, I mean, maybe this is, like, looking at it from, like, video game hockey, but I do remember him being good in, like, the NHL video games as, like, a younger guy. >> He was a good fantasy hockey player when he was on the Islanders. >> Well, because he hit a lot, right? And had a lot of shots and blocks and everything. And, yeah. >> Yeah, man, there's real slim pickings for, like, pending UFA defenseman. >> Yeah. >> You don't have to scroll that far down to see, like, Derek Pouliot. So, yeah, let's hope we let it really breaks out this season and we're not going to happen to get excited at the deadline about acquiring, what does it say here, Scott Peronovich out of St. Louis. >> Oh, yeah, let's -- I'll say this about Scott Peronovich as a hockey card collector. The classic guy who's autographed, you don't want to see when you hit an autograph in the box. >> Okay. Do you want to do the quiz first or do you want to go through some reviews of Roger's Arena? >> Boy. >> Let's do the quiz. Let's do that. >> All right. Let's do the quiz. So, this quiz is called, "Which pretty princess of the Canucks are you?" >> Okay. >> Introduction here. There are so many beautiful girls who play for the Vancouver Canucks Hockey Club. Which one are you? So, I'm going to type in "Stephan" here. I did it last night. I'll tell you who I got once we were done. >> Okay. >> So, pick a song from my hockey playlist, it gives you a few options here. Long Live by Taylor -- well, it says T-Swift. >> Sure, yeah. >> Superstar by Jamalia. >> Okay. >> End of beginning by Dejo or DJO. >> Okay. >> I bet on "Losing Dogs" by Mitzki, "Time Machine" by Daisy the Great, "Devil Town" by Bright Eyes, or "Elda's Daughter" by Isabelle Plus. >> I think I got to go with Mitzki. >> That's what I picked too. >> Yeah. >> I don't know if I know the song, but I recognized Mitzki as probably the coolest one there. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> I'll give you more deeply. >> Okay. >> So, Beau for Beau, so Beauvilla for Beau Horvat. >> Right. >> Nolpat. So, after some guessing, I think that's Nolan Patrick, so Nolan Patrick to Vegas. >> Right, because this is like a hockey girl, like -- >> Yeah, it was like -- I think when I Googled it, it said something about brain rock quiz, so Nolan Patrick to Vegas for my -- >> Sure. >> Where's he driving to Philly? >> Philly, yeah. >> Yeah. >> Is he going to play to Seattle? >> Okay. >> The Islanders? >> Yeah. >> Well, it wasn't a train. >> Well, it was a train. >> Yeah. >> Sure. >> Yeah. >> I'm giving this quiz a Pinocchio. >> Sure. >> Yeah. >> Or Mike Richards and Jeff Carter out of Philly. >> Oh, man. I mean, I guess it's the Beau Horvat one, but I was like pretty -- >> You like that? >> Didn't actually. >> I know. That's the thing. Like, that's the one that, like, I care about the most. >> I'll say the Nolan Patrick one, just because I was pretty sad about how his career was going maybe? That's pretty depressing. Yeah.
