The Final Episode of the Clockwork Dominion Adventure. Thank you Zeke from running the game for us. Hope you had at least half as much fun as we did!

(upbeat music) - Hello and welcome to Night to the Night actual play podcast. This clockwork Dominion Adventure, incident aboard the EGRP, was run by our guest GM, Deep Coglin. And now, please enjoy episode 259, titled "Darwin warned us about you." Actual play begins immediately. (upbeat music) - I'm Deep Coglin from Roller Quaring Game Studios. I'm here acting as an aerator. - I'm Thomas, so I'm playing Caspar Hawk. - I'm a German engineer, onboarding me to grips for reasons. - Okay, I'm Tom, I'm playing Augusta Slow. I am the aristocratic sister of Fitzwilliam Slow. - We are both returning from Brazil with our deceased father. - I'm John playing Fitzwilliam Slow, the male brother counterpart to the Slow family, and just wasted flesh now, Paul. - I am Jim Play and Dr. Ian Trowbridge. Leave he's a surgeon from Edinburgh, but I'm not there now, so I'm here on business. - I am Scott playing Edith Morgares. I am a British socialite, returning from Sao Paulo to London for reasons unknown. - I'm Nick, I'm Sebastian Dunn, and I am on my way home from Sao Paulo with an important package. - I'm Rachel playing Dr. Anthony Beacham, who is an anthropologist who just left South America from a cultural expedition and is headed home. - I am now high as a kite, while also in an airship. - Right. - Let me take here as a three people that are bumping the envelope. You hear the running from the front of the ship to the back of the ship on the catwalk above you. The lighting here is kind of above each catwalk, so you can't really see up there other than just shadows moving, but you hear it. - And it's running from the front to the back, which means from the captain's-- - Two engineer. - Two engineer. - Two engineer. - All the guy who's leaving where the action happened. - I'm gonna chase the guy. You can go check out the wait. Just remember the crowd here. No one else will be able to cover if it goes bad in the captain's quarters. - But you do want to see engineer? - I really do. - Fits, can you handle anything that happens in captain? - I think you might need the help. - In what? - That creature's obviously the one crossing. - Yes. - Let's go after it. - Both of us? - We can do this. - All right. Doctor, can you handle this? - Can you handle the climber? - Go from. - All right, you and me, Casper and Slow. - Hurry. - Fits are charging to the back to chase this noise. - My reasoning is if what happened happened up front, there might be injured people up front, so that's where I want to go first. - Anything. - The guy who's running across the top, hopefully he's okay. - All right, clearly. - You're right to the front. You guys are right to the back. Let me do you guys first? Moving toward the back of the ship, are you going on the bottom cap? What for the top cap? - Is it easy to get to the top cap? - You have to get to a ladder, which there are two of them. - I don't think it's engineering through either, right? - And it seems like it would be faster to not go up. - Engineering is hanging from the bottom of the gondolas. - Just like ours is. - He's going to have to cross this anyway. - Are you waiting at the bottom? - We're going to run to engineering to try to head it off, because if I understand correctly, it's going to have to come down the ladder to get to engineering, so we'll be there when it does. - All right, you may get to the ladder, which is outside of engineering. You basically run toward the back of the ship, and then there's a ladder, maybe 15 feet from the pork hole down to engineering. Because of the way engineering is offset, it's higher than the passenger gondola. This passenger gondola has to be leather, so it gets a better view. The door is right in the cap wall. When you stand there, and you listen to the footsteps, running, and go right overhead, right past you. - Does the passenger gondola have to go to engineering? I should know this, but I don't. - It's on the catwalk above you. - It's just, it's on the tail. - The thing is on the catwalk above you? - Yeah, and he can't see it, even though you said it earlier, that it's mesh, and you can see shadows. It's like vaguely human shaped, and it's moving in that direction. - So he can't tell if it's human or not. - Got two arms and two legs. - One arm and two arm and two arms. - Oh, look at the human. - Look at the human. - And you're underneath. - We can't continue to run under. You can't, let's do this. - All right, let's continue to run under him, I guess. All right, wait, real quick, I wanna know. If we reach the end of the catwalk, I mean, there's nowhere to go, so he's either gonna have to go down or turn around. - Well, there's no other ladder down, so if he's running to the end, he's running to the end of the catwalk. - And being underneath him won't actually be valuable, and there will be no way to get up. - There's some truth to that. So I'm going to climb up. - You climb up the ladder, you get to the top, there's about 40 to 50 feet between you and the railing that is the end of the catwalk, and then from that railing, you can reach out and touch the back of the nylon of the exterior of the ship. Standing there, maybe 20 feet from you, is a very large person. He is wrangling a harness, the kind that is used for doing exterior shipwork, and you notice immediately that this gigantic man, who probably stands about six foot three, his sleeves rolled up, and it looks as though his arms have been removed from the elbows down and replaced with the forearms of a gorilla. - Right, I don't want to box this thing. Where do you stand, Finn? - I'm getting it. - All right, Finn. - For those of you that in the game world, there are such a thing as beast folk. - Yes, vivisected, it's animals onto them. - It's like the island of Dr. Morro. - Right. - Ew, I looked at that too. - That's what he looks like. - Yes, gorilla though, not part of him. - That sounds like that is kind of a person. - Actually, that's him. - That's him. - I've heard of him. - Do we have a lot of them? - You have heard passing tail of them, they showed up in Singapore about 10 or 15 years ago, and the problem it doesn't even know what to do with them, they don't even know really to classify them as human or not. A few of them have tried to come home, but they're basically people who are abducted and experimented on. - My surgeons that were doing video section experiments that became illegal in England, then what else were to do them? - Like-- - Dr. Ian Singapore, Tobra. - Oh, usually I'm in the Pacific Rim. - So he probably came through somewhere, maybe the west coast of South America. - Have I ever seen one of these before? - A white uniform, or does he look what is-- - He is wearing workman's uniform, like a porter, like the kind of people that throw luggage. - He'd be really good at it too. - You see him, he has his gigantic hands that he's using through this harness on over his body, and then he notices you and looks up. - Oh, I snap a picture. I have a camera. - He looks up. The first thing that you notice is this massive, this massive being. It's like over six-foot tall, huge hands, muscular, looks at you, and the one thing you see in his eyes is terror. - I was running towards him with my fists up. - Is that why he's weird? - Yeah, clearly that's why he's terrified. I chuck the bottle on his head. - You're still holding the bottle? - Yeah, absolutely. - Initiating combat with this guy? - Yeah. - What? - Don't take a picture first? (laughing) - I don't know what he is, he's freaking me out. - I take a picture first. - Which is why you want them to leave the cabin in the first place. - Why, you knew it, and you can't tell me it did. - Let me come back to this, if you're going to initiate combat. - All right, but I'm gonna make Ken Casper, does he have the reflexes to take a picture of this monkey man before my idiot friend here punches it in the face? - I'm supposed to wear the newspapers. - I will, I'll make a killing. - You. - Monkey man killing-- - I don't know the front shit. - When I said you, I have Dr. Ian. - Dr. Ian. - You're the front of the ship. - You make it to the ladder that climbs down into the pilot's cabin. - Is it not also-- - I am very cautious taking a good listen. - You hear-- - I don't know, I don't know. - Oh, geez. (laughing) - I don't know, I don't know what to do with that. - Exactly, how do you shut that, doctor? - I pull my sword out of my cane. Try to cautiously and quietly peer in there to see what that noise is when it's coming from. - Well, the pilot's cabin is slightly lower, so you have to climb down the ladder to get through the roof of the pilot's cabin. - You can kinda do so sorta head first and put your head in. - That sounds like a good idea. - Mm-hmm, if I can, I think I can do it somewhat quietly, I'm gonna do that, so I can just peek in. I don't wanna go feet first and have my whole body in there before I see what's going on. - The thing that hits you before your head even gets close not to see is the pungent smell of rust. - Rust. - Oh. - Iron. - Blood. - Blood. - Okay. - Keep good at knowing right here, certainly. - I think you're a surgeon, did you know what I mean? - I've worked on people that have been attacked and killed by things that aren't human, so. I've probably my sixth sense of saying, "Oh, are you okay?" - I'm gonna look in though. - You, Dr. Head, just below the roof of the gondola cabin and kind of with one eye, look into the room, the room has a very thin layer of liquid blood that is just congealing on the floor. There are bodies all over the place, leaning over various instruments and cabinets. The far wall of glass is shattered and so there's this air kind of moving in and out, which is whisking the hair of a white haired naked, elderly Brazilian man who is sitting Indian style above a corpse on the floor. The chest cavity looks as though it has been torn open and this elderly man is just eating the heart. The moment your head dips below, he just looks up at you and then he completely ignores you and goes back to being the heart. - I crawl my way back up to the catwalk and he's very quickly back to the passenger quarters. (laughing) Five minutes later, he arrives and says, "No, it's okay." - As you're walking back, you see the flash of the camera and the catwalk above you. - I hold onto the reel very tightly. - This is like a flammable ear. - I'm sorry, I forgot how a flash camera's worked in the past. - It's monstrous. - Yeah, Casper doesn't work with cameras, he probably doesn't know. - Yeah, he's not an engineer anymore. - Which is right. (laughing) - He works with cameras, he works with something else entirely. - It's fine, Alister's a leak. - Yeah. - We're just gonna roll it. You see the camera flash. - Yeah, totally. - I wanna come back and zoom right here. - Yeah, passenger camera. - Okay, you're just letting that happen. - All the crew is dead then? That's all those bodies. - All the crew, the pilot's cabin. - And the pilot's cabin. - Before I decided I shot down to the engineer inside, don't go over to the captain's quarters, it's dangerous and head down. - That's what you hear. - Uh-huh. - Are you attempting to punch this brother for Japan? - Yeah. - Okay. - What do you mean? - All right, monkey man, Darwin warned us about you. - Before I drop one, there's no one else present except for Casper and Fitz. - You're doing having fives. - I have a clue to you. - So there's a fives. - Yeah, there's a fives. - Not bad. - I imagine that you probably might act at your first available to help us your knees in charge. - How's the rest of these used for attacks? - Wow, there should be. - But how many actions you get in a sequence? - What are you good at? - Fight. - Like, mystic help? - Yeah. - All right. - And drinking. - He's drunk. - He's a really bad aristocrat. - Drunken boxer. - Yeah. - Good one. (laughing) - Are you gonna act? - Uh, yeah. - That's fine. - That's fine. - Pass him down. - Help me. - When you flip a card for that, does it matter what the numbers on the card is at all? - Just if there's too high. - Just if there's too high. - Just who gets to go first? Okay, I'm just wondering what the numbers. - So the five and then four, then three, then two, and one all the way down to negative five is the order of play. If you notice, when you have multiple people acting, it's not like a round rob and like a regular game. It kind of goes back and forth and a more random order. - All right. - He's going to react. This is physical conflict and it is in my best interest to react. So I flip a card, doesn't matter which one. - The meaning of the model. - Neither of you have any weapons, so there's no reach difference. So you're the acting character, so you go first. He has a physical defense of-- - Now, he, meaning the beast folk, would have went first. On his interruption, had he had a weapon with reach, correct? - On his reaction. - On his reaction. - On his reaction, right. - Okay. - Actually, you have a special ability that allows you to add vigor to fisticons. - Yeah. - Good thing too. - So you had your vigor to fisticons. - He has a physical defense of seven. - Ooh, wow. - That's very helpful. - What's your vigor plus fisticons? - Five. - Excellent. - You're an egg into you, flip a card. - But attack is damage too. - Okay. - No, I didn't flip your card. - Yes. - Mine is four. - Wonderful. - I'm not talking mad to him. - I'm not talking mad to him. (laughing) - Cast out water. - You're just drunk. - You're not just drunk. - You're just shit. - I think he knocked himself out, you know, like swung in his head on a rail. - I'm drunk. - 'Cause right now you're going to get a physical-- - And you're missing action on you because you're missing very badly. You have a remarkable failure. - We'll see what happens. I mean, I got back up. - Are you sure? - I got back up. - He's in line with you. - You're back up. - What are you talking about? - You're back up to the dude who almost burnt down the whole Zeppelin like three seconds ago. - I'm simply asking you, are you sure you're okay with getting a physical condition? - Uh-huh. - What is it? - Oh. - Dude! - Dude! - Dreyer! - If you would have drawn again, he would have had dude and he would have lost. - Dude. - You come up to him and you're like, I have this. And you punch. Your punch goes so wild that it actually rolls across the harness. One of the jury-riggings on the harness actually slides right down your forearm. Your vein opens up. - Oh my God. (laughs) - You are now leaning dead. - You're gonna get what you wanted. (laughs) - You want to control the family? - No, you're just moving. - Ah, good. - So we went past his guard. - Past his guard. - Right? - That's the-- - The doom goes right past guard, right? - Yes, it does. - So, then you have, I think, 10 wounds you could take? - Correct. - Up to? - Before you die. - Up to circle. - Three or four, yeah. - Mine is 10 wound penalty. Each wound gives you a minus two penalty. - Ah, so once you get to minus 10, that's when the lights are out? - Yeah. - Can't you spend a purpose to ignore a wound? - You can spend a purpose, point a purpose to ignore a wound and I really recommend doing it. - I do that. - And do it. Scratch off your arm. - You can do that on the doom card, right? 'Cause it's the effect of the doom card. It's not the card's result itself. - Right. - Okay. - The doom card still happens. - You still fail. - I can't purpose this to be a purpose. - But here's this stuff. - Because there's corruption I'm seeing now. - You're up to the road. - Your blood basically spews out all over this man and he just kind of looks down at you. - I didn't even do anything. - And then all of a sudden, there's a crack of thunder and you start hearing rain count on the exterior of the envelope. Those of you who are in the gondola that have access to glass. - Right. - When you start seeing rain hitting the glass, only it's right there. - Right. You made it rain blood. - You're not here. - You're a fucking idiot. - I'm glad I'm high and fast out on my bed right now. - To the nature of your epic failure. I'm going to ask you whether you like to continue fighting. - I think we're gonna fall over drunkenly. - That's a good plan. - You fall down. - For my vision, he's falling backward. And I'm like, I've got to shoot. You didn't hit him at all. And so he just kind of looks down. - Who are you people? I don't care. He just walks away from you the extra 10 feet to the end. He straps his harness on and begins tying a rope to the inside framework. - I step forward and I say, where are you? What are you doing? Why are you, what is the plan? - He looks at you. He looks at your friend who's on the ground. I'm a mason and I'm running. - What's a dagger in it? - And tears it through the, your ears pop. - I'm gonna play in fists. - I'm on space. It's not like you fly out. - Yeah. - You're like, just pop. - The fist starts holding his head. - Ahhh! - That hurts more than my wrist. Okay. - You still want to go? - You should not use. (laughing) - He is climbing through a hole he just made in the night on. - That's a good plan. I'm gonna go down to engineering and then join. Goodbye. Good luck, Fitz. I climb down the ladder and I enter engineering. - All right, he is exiting the ship. Let's go back to the passenger gondola. - You are now descending. The blood has just started in the windows. - Do I notice? - You guys know what Pontus' events are? Usually Pontus' events happen with napples. - Really crazy stuffs are happening. - Okay. - Pontus' events don't happen on like the grounds of a consecrated monastery. They happen in alleyways where people are murdered. They happen in homes where people abuse their children. Like Pontus' events. - These are the way we're rewarding hearts. - Pontus' events usually don't happen in friendly places. - Nice. - Although they are more colossal. - So the draining blood is a Pontus' events. - It is a bit of the undercurrent chaos seeping back into the world reclaiming it slowly. - Casper has decided that this is because he doesn't know what the constant happening of the Pontus' rhymes. - Pontus' rhymes. - Did you describe again what I saw when I kicked into the pilot's area? Because that's what I'm saying is I'm coming down the steps into the passenger thing. - It was... - Now we get the description. - It's a thin layer of blood on the ground. It's very difficult to tell. It is deep enough that you can see it pulling around him. Body is tossed over cabinets and controls and in the Brazilian naked man. - The guy got on the pin with us right there. - Yeah. - No, it's a different Brazilian man. - Dr. Montelbahn has actually been in his room this whole time. - Real quick. I'd like to know whether Casper knows about emergency escape plans in Zeppelin. - I'd like to say I'd like to know if I can get a refund. - I didn't even pay for this trip. - Generally, Zeppelin's can be fairly safely landed. - That's good. I'm going to have to do that, aren't you? - Do you still mind it over the ocean? - You can get to the pilot. - Yes. Okay, that's my problem. I also want to know, are we over the ocean at this point or are there still trees? - No, I'm strapping on one of these harnesses going after the monkey. - Okay. - This is a great plan. - Casper, are you here in the passenger kind of look? - Casper did not go back to the passenger kind of look. - He can speak English. - He's going to engineer it. - Okay. People in the passenger kind of look. How are you reacting to the description of what is going on in the pilot's cabin? - Somehow, I'm just not surprised. - What did he perform? - What did he perform? - To actually pilot the craft. - He's engineering. He's profession. - What I'm describing is I'm heading over to the phones and grabbing a phone to the engineering section. - Which is what I'm doing. - Well, you're the one I have the time to do so. - So if there's anybody who's still aiming to lie down on the other end of the ship, I'll alert them to the fact that there is no pilot. We need to take out the threat and take control of the ship otherwise we're going to crash in the ocean. - Am I aware of the-- - No, you're fine. - I mean, I just, I don't know, but from what I understand of cocaine, I really don't know. You're not like incapacitated. You're like, wide awake. - If you're done, you're probably pumped up for it. - It's a stimulant, right? - It's a right. - It's a right. - Yeah, it's better off than fit right now, probably. - I feel like your pride is probably like-- - Yeah, you've got the answer. - Well, so I'm just wondering now, am I aware of what's going on because he's been making a ruckus about the pilot at night, come out of my room? Or am I still pretty chilled out in my room, high as a kite? - Yeah, you're going to get a minus to doing mental problem solving, other than that, you're fine. - Okay, cool. - Yeah, I'm probably now wondering what's going on, so I come out of my room to find out-- - Is there any blood or something? - A degree of success of seven. - Yeah. - You eating hearts is not something that's very common. - What? - I know. - Sorry. - This is a New All. It's a vengeance demon. The people that you stayed with in the Amazon rainforest, occasionally if they sought vengeance on someone who had desperately wronged them, they would go out into the forest to seek out the New All, and they would offer it a sacrifice in exchange for vengeance. The New All would find everything that had to do with that person being wronged. They would kill and eat the heart of the person that betrayed. It would kill the person that they betrayed that person with. It would destroy everything around that circumstance, and that anything to do with what had wronged the individual that made the circuit. - Or out dead. - The sacrifice. And anyone that was not involved with the actual slight, it would just ignore. Which is probably why, in your Dost 7 opinion, it completely ignores Dr. Ian. - It is an intelligent being that can be reasoned with, but it is somewhat otherworldly. It doesn't understand everything about what's going on around it in the modern world. With a Dost 7, I'll tell you, it is a shape changer. - So someone would have had to bring it onto the Zephyrm. - It's like an empty. - It is a cruc. - It's a cruc. - Whoever had it on the... - It killed the priest. - I should start talking now. - It might have been the priest that had done the wrong way. - It might have been the priest that contained the creature. - Contained? - That nevermind, I don't know. - Possibly. - That the priest was trying to contain it, because there is evidence of binding ritual on the trunk. Whatever was in this trunk, someone did not want it to come out. - Can we kill it? Nobody's tried. - Is there a way? Like, is there a legend on how to kill it? - I've never seen people have been attacked by these things, bottom up, I've actually heard of anybody killing one. - Oh, you have mysteries too, don't you? - Yes, I do. - Oh, we have a ringer in the group. - Hey! - Since we added a seventh character, you can make a mysteries check it too, if you want. - Yeah, I'll do that. - Reason and mysteries. - Reason and mysteries. - Your difficulty is going to be a four, because you did not spend months in the Amazon Ring Wars. - Plus... - Plus... - You've never heard this creature before. - You know what now? - Mine's four. - What? - Different part of the Amazon. - Yeah. - Easy to use an ether and redraw. - Scratch the ether off on your character sheet. - You're one and only. - Nice. - Nice! - Whoa! - I got a total of four. - A doc of four. You can confirm everything that she is saying. You didn't spend time with the peoples of the Amazon, so you weren't familiar with it. But the moment she started talking about it, you're like, "I have heard of these things." It's not a demon. It is a physical thing that lives in the wilderness. You would call it a fey. It's a creature that can be negotiated with, and it's a physical body. Anything with a physical body can be killed, but you have no idea how hard it would be. - What are you talking about? - But judging from the carnage that we've seen so far, it's pretty difficult to kill one. - There were two small items that you were looking at. In one, there was a vial of silver powder, some candles, other things. What was in the other? - It was pre-scarps. - It was pre-scarps. - Just pre-scarps. - Yeah. - That's true. - The creation of a right on how to perhaps put it back into the trunk. - Not necessarily. - Has anyone checked his room? - Who did he room with? - Who did he room with? Not me. - He roomed at the other bazillion, didn't he? - He roomed with multabond. - Who has yet to come out despite all this? - Whose heart was he? - Well, maybe there's a reason for that. - Did you get a look? - It was one of the stories. I didn't really-- - He has to put things around to find out. - If there's one who's wronged him, then to understand who else is-- - Does anyone here among us have the ability to look through things and is anyone a detective or-- - An investigation or anything? - Yeah. - That's what I'm trying to say without actually saying this again. - Yes, you guys. - I have two. - I think you were. - Okay, maybe we should go to multabond in the priest's room and check and see if there maybe is a right or a ritual in there of some sort. - Guys, I think it's possible that this thing ate a priest's heart and then ripped the canister down a top that covered up and then as soon to bias. Because I haven't seen to bias, I didn't see him, I don't think I saw him up front. I don't know where he's at. I think he shaped change in to bias, because I think he was out at it. - That would have been a good-- - Did anyone look for the heart? I mean, I know it's kind of-- - His hand was in his chest, like, "Oh my God, you just ripped out my heart." - Yeah. - Okay, I'll go with you if you want someone to go with you to check the room. - Sure. - Okay, we're going to the multabond. Is there anyone who wants to come along and feel free and no one who couldn't search? - At this point, I am going to get some of my gear from my room, because it's getting crazy in here. I have a six-shot remover and a large knife I'd like to be carrying both of them. - Done. - Then I'm making that call up to engineering to see if there's anybody there who I can warn. - Okay, I'll take you to that in just a second. - I have a question about the shape shifting. - Yes. - When this thing shifts, does the body have to be dead that it shifts into, or can it shift into somebody that's still alive? - No, no walls have favorite forms that they tend to use, but they can shift into anything they want to. - Okay. - It doesn't even have to be-- - So there could be two of me, for example, my character running around. - Does it have to be a person to be a wall or a chair? - The legends only talk about like animals, people, they don't talk about plants and walls. - You go into Dr. Mazelbaum's room, he's sitting there with a bottle of port. It's the remainder of the one that you had poured earlier. He looks up, are we turning back? - Why do you ask? - There was a body, I assume that we were going to be turning back. - So he knows more than-- - Portuguese or English? - I speak Portuguese. - Yeah, Portuguese or English? - Did you spoke to him in Portuguese or English? - Yes, I did. - He's going to speak in Portuguese too. He was a little slurred too. - Right. And the body he's referring to, was he there when we saw the pilot? - No. - So he's-- - He thinks the person-- - He knows more than what he-- he knew something coming on to this. - He might have seen the body fall out of the pilot scale. - He said no. - Okay. - He was in his cabin. He was on the personal cabins, are there? - They're facing the pilots. - They're facing the pilots. - But I heard about-- - Condola. - The priest couldn't kill him. - No. - He was in for the whole time. - Is that right? - Yeah. - You were presenting what was the paper on? - Medicinal uses of Amazon rainforest plants. - He-- - Tell me more. - This sure hands you a book. - And can you show us where the priest's items were, his accruitments, his bags, anything? Is that you're sharing a room with him? - He had like a couple of shirts and just that satchel was hanging off the boat. - That satchel will do. You want to check it out? - Yeah. I'll go check out the satchel. - You flip over the satchel. It's the two cylindrical things that look like they were holding the wine bottle and the glasses and there is a book. - Awesome. - You like books? - Yeah. - Written in that book. - You take the book, you open it. - Latin. - It is written in a mixture of Latin and Enochian. - Awesome. - Excellent. - Enochian is the language of the angels. - Oh. - Oh. - I didn't know that one. - Okay. I didn't know that. - If you have a mysteries of three, you'll have a passing familiarity with it. - Hey. I'm good with that. - You have Latin? - You have an academic sort of three. You have a passing familiarity with Latin. - Oh yeah. - And so-- - Oh yeah. - Everything you need. - I got this. - You have a refinement of three. You have a passing familiarity with French. That's how the game works. - What body are you referring to? I asked him Portuguese. The priests, we were all there. - He was up there? I thought it was in his room the whole time. - He took the clothes for all able to buy that. - He came up with me for that. Yes, we're turning back. - Did you know the priests before you got on this? - No. Didn't speak very much either. But I mean, what a horrible way to die. - How did he die? - Were you thinner? - No, I came in after I saw that something had fallen on him. Is that what you were referring to? - Well, I mean, that's what we all did. We came and saw the canister on him. - Am I looking through this book while I'm talking about it? - I mean, I mean... - You look through the book. It is a book. It is histories and notes and journals and rituals. - I tell him we're putting around, but not necessarily for São Paulo. I want to see his face and see if that makes it somewhat. It's like there's a sense of relief. Anything? - Anything from him? He's just like, where are we going? - All right. - He's just really drunk. - He's got the tips. He's not really drunk. It's like he's drowning the São Paulo's in the book. - He resigned in some sense. All right. - What do I learn from this book? Anything? You have consequence? - Well, if you have flipped to the end to the most recently used page, there is a right in the book for binding a new wall. It requires an object that can be sealed, an airtight to the solar powder, the candles, and a cross labeled as a cross with a relic of St. Benedict embedded. And there was a Golden Cross in history. - There was. Yeah. There was all of those items. - Okay. - So. - That was what you were writing about. - Chris was very clearly trying to keep this thing inside of the trunk. - What do we have to seal the trunk, because we have the silver powder we need. We have the candles. - We have everything that we need to seal in the back end. - I don't know if we have an airtight seal though. - The wax. - Right. Do we have wax? Before you show it that way. - Before you show it that way. - You know what that wax can't be. Nice grape. It's hardened. - You could. That'd be difficult, because it's doable. - We'd have to light a match. - The box might be a little hard to reuse though, because it's been pretty banged up. - Well, there's a coffin. - You pick up the phone. You are standing right above us. You hear the phone ring. There's some murmuring, but you can't make out the voices through the very thick German accent, which I'm not even going to attempt to do. - Not me. - Answers. No, not you. Is this the passenger? - Yes. - You need to lock yourselves inside the gondola. - Oh, yeah. And I explained to him that. - Oh, yeah. - There's like everybody's dead, and there's going to be piloting the ship. - There's something killed everybody up the meat front. - Can they pilot it from back there? - There you go. - A good question. - Can you wind us? - Can you pilot it from back there? You might want to seal yourself in and case whatever that is. - You have to make some arrangements so we can pilot the ship from down here. - I'm trying to add to engineering right now. - I've been slowly changing our course back toward land. - Yeah, that's a good thing. - What about the mutiny? - There's a mutiny back there. - What is that? There is a mutiny occurring. A man named Tobias Hay has tried to take control of the cabin. - Yeah, yeah. That's been taken care of Tobias, I think, well. - He'll ever lock yourselves in the gondola. - Yeah, don't go up there because then there'll be nobody here to pilot the ship, so please keep yourself safe. - Okay. I'm trying to add to engineering. - Knocking or? - I mean, if it opens, I'm opening it. If it's locked, I'm knocking. - You hear a minor, someone's here. - Knocking as thoroughly as I can. - You are knocking on the door with my boots, you know, whatever. - You hear light footprints on the grading moving in your general direction. - Well, I'm going to continue knocking while facing backwards because I am not a man to let anything stink up on me. - You hear a muffled voice coming up through the hatch that is not open. - Who? Who are you? - One of the passengers. - Hold on. These German is hell. Green and German. - That's awesome. I can't speak German. One of the passengers, Kasberg, I'm here to help. I'm an engineer and also everything's crazy. There's a hole in the envelope. There was a monkey thing and I need to be inside because something is behind me. If you could please, allow me to enter. - Kasberg. - Yes. - He opens the door. - Oh, Jesus. - Oh my gosh, I don't know what we did together, but you're very German, please, allow me to come in. I'm very on the spot here. - You've read your character history while I describe what happens. - I thought I read this earlier. The door is opening, you see this blood covered naked elderly man kind of rummaging through things in the male compartment. He's kind of picking up things and looking under them and then he looks at you. The hatch is just about to open and you see him breathe very deeply. - And then he just ignores you and goes back to what he's doing. - You're not friendly with him, but they're only so many German engineers that build zeppelins in the world. - Right. Yes. So great to see you again. Please let me in. - The door opens, get in quickly. - And I rush in as quickly as I can, shut up on me. There's a hole in the envelope that, actually, I don't know anything else, do I? It might be raining blood? Not exactly clear. - After you come in, let me take care of you really quick because you're crawling outside the zeppelin. You tie the harness up to the framework, give me a grace in that blood. - How do you feel? - I'm trying to tie it to his because I think I know he knows what he's doing. - All right. - What's the difficulty here? - Three. - Four. - Nice one. - Three, zero. - With conditions. - That is so difficult. - You take one step, your foot goes outside of the zeppelin and you're like, "Whoa, you swing out and around and slam into the surface," but you're like, "Okay, I got this." You plant both of your feet and you're standing there outside of the zeppelin, wind blowing all over the place. It's very cold. You can see the rope, you can follow his rope. - I agree with you. - That's going to take you a little bit of time. You were in engineering. - We have a hole in the envelope. We have a giant monkey man. I don't actually know any other mechanical problems, but I really wanted to be inside. So thank you for letting me in, Hans. - You're a danger. I brought you in to keep you safe. - Well, I appreciate that, but what's the additional danger? The monkey left. He's outside the envelope. - Jasmine? - Yeah? He said that. I was busy. He's kind of crazy up there. - I don't think Jasmine was part of the mutiny. - No? He tore a hole in the envelope and left. I thought he was trying to sabotage the zeppelin. Also mutiny. What? There's a mutiny happening? Where? There's only two distinct places that have any operational control over this. It's the captain's group, isn't it? Or is it in here? Because that's a pretty big deal. Engineers are captains. Who's the mutiny? - I'm the engineer. - Are you mutiny? I will help. - If you're not, I will help. - We're Germans. We own zeppelins. These jokes stole... - What? - We used to determine the pilots' cabin. - Okay. - Your acquaintances just called me to say that there were many people who had been murdered there. - There was a priest who died earlier. It was not an accident. - With you here, you can change the direction of the ship and try to make it back to land faster. - That we can. We definitely can't make it all the way to Europe. - Only a couple hours ago. - You get what you want to get off the ship as quickly as possible. - We could back kid. If you want to do that, we'll do that. - I think we should not. - Earlier. - Okay. Welcome to your back story. My story is involved. - He's not worried about us. - I'm not worried about you guys. - Boom. - All right. - Thank you for the reason. - Oh, I'm good at that. - You're definitely zero. All you have to do is succeed. - Is there any code? - There's not a doom. - Got her. - Anything but a doom? - Negative one. - Excellent. - However, my engineering and reason is six. - So it was good. That was a five. You were helping him rearrange the ship. - We are aiming for sure because that's what he wants to get. - Is he talking about vector? - Yes. - The whole time I'm not trying very hard, but I'm trying to get a feel for it. - Could we just pilot this to Germany? - Any reason. - Any reason. - At all. - Okay. - Barricade the doors. - Let's go to Germany. - Dr. Beecham. Can you do the right? - I'll see why not. I just need a box that can be sealed. - All right. That is the most important thing on our agenda right now is to find a box that can be sealed. - Casket. - You hear a little bit of motion and the ladder just shakes a little bit. - Oh yeah. We definitely should check it out. - So I run over to where the ladder is and look up. - There is a bloody naked Brazilian man talking to the ladder that's kind of seen what it is. - Right. - It's really a hatch that can be sealed. - You could reach up past him and grab the hatch and slam it in front of him. - Yeah. - He sees you. - Yes. - Well, I don't know if he snips. Go ahead and snip. - He close out. He thinks you know. - And he doesn't look angry. He just has a little bit of a grin that passes his face. - Oh no. - What so did you do? Would Slending shut the portal keep him out or is he already in? - He's having a hard time visualizing the setup. - Okay. Here's the portal. It's kind of opened up. - He's standing above the portal. - He's standing right next to it. Looking down. - So he cannot get to us if I close the portal. - You would have to get next to him. - You would have to get close to him. - This close to him. This close people who are listening. - That's really close. - Very close. - Oh. - So he smiles but does not seem to be wanting in any certain way. - Are you waiting for the ladder? - No. - No. We need him. I go as far as to perhaps him like him down. That's fine because we need him for the right. - He drops straight down and lands right next to you. - Yeah. - Hi. - He snips you again. - I have my good hand resting on my prosthetic hand waiting for any kind of action at all from him and I'm trying to completely ignore him. Much like I'm ignoring you right now, sniffing my ear from very close quarters. - Yes. - You've been wronged. You have been... - Yes. - You've been right. - Yes. - Yes. - Absolutely. And I think we should talk about this. Good Casket Force. - Oh, what are you doing? - Casket! Please. No. - Do you seek vengeance? - No. No. No. You're fine. Continue with the vengeance that you're on and we could talk afterwards. - One vengeance set it up. - Yeah. We don't want to. No. You're good. Are you done with the vengeance? I tend to be disappointed. So can we get the casket, please? Why this creepy thing is sniffing me? Did he just leave the... - Where did he go? - He walks away from a deat and then he kind of starts opening cabinets and kind of searching. - Where is he? - My father, my mother, children hiding in a corner screaming. They have a retreat into their cabin. - Yes. That's a logical choice. - Seriously. He's right here. A casket. - It's not like I carry it in the back pocket. - I don't get to move up. It's a casket. - Well, I'd also... - I mean, he's really scared that the casket's not gonna fit through the portal to get into this tent. - All right, let's all go, then. - So the locker is down here, though. The beat up. - Now put through and smaller. - Yeah. I mean, it worked once. - Yeah. - We have waxed candles. - Okay. - Can you see all them in a room? - It would have to be airtight. - I may be seeking vengeance. Let me see all them in the gondola. - If he... - Did you just say I might be interested in vengeance? - Yeah. - No. - Well, it's up to you and asks you if you want vengeance because you have been wronged. - Yes. - Imagine if we take this thing to Europe and he gets off of this, Zeppelin. - You caught up to Mass, Nazna. He is situated himself against the back of the flight, sitting on one of the wings that stabilizes the Zeppelin. He looks at you. Of course, you can share my hiding place. - Yeah, it's always sad. - He looks very annoyed. - I would be too. - Did you just attack him? - Yeah. - You kill everyone and then you hide. - I... - You give me pause. - I'm going to try to detect some to the lie here. - Oh, okay. - What's that involved? - Focus and... - Gail? - Uh, intuition. - I'll ask you. - Okay. Let's hope. - Let me find out what his defense is. - Oh, why would he defend? - It's just passive. - Oh, okay. - Four. - No, I do get... - Oh, the druid is damn monkey. He's lying. - Oh, the druid is damn monkey. He's lying. - What did you get? - Negative what? - Minus 2. - Minus 2. - Minus 2. - He calls it minus his defense. - So, so minus 6? - Oh, yeah. He's telling you the truth. He told you the truth. - Why? - He thinks he's hiding. - He's not going to tell him to let you shoulder him. - A monkey's always hiding. - He's always hiding. - He is downright evil on this one. - All right. - All right. - He's going to blast. - Oh, you got a buddy. - I'm a lot more friendly with this man now. - He was hiding something. It was alcohol. Now we're good. - Just to resolve. - You're going to give me some time? - Yeah, yeah. - Okay. - I have a quick question just about my situation. Germany wants me to capture the secrets of the Zeppelin. - Uh-huh. - They probably would be really upset if I just brought it to them, wouldn't they? 'Cause I mean it's England's Zeppelin. Someone's going to be upset if I just drive it out of the front lawn. - Oh, yeah, that would have. - Yeah, okay. I'll just record their secrets. - You do have a camera. - I do have a-- it's the plan. I was just thinking they might be really, really happy if I drop the entire Zeppelin. God, that's for later. I'm going to sell it to the newspaper. Gorilla Man murders Douglas. - So, we all depart the gondola right now. We seal the gondola. - With all the women and children down there. - Whatever. - We could try to get them out. - Okay, well, I mean. - It's fine. - We then seal the creature in here. I'll talk to it about vengeance for a while, and I'll be the last one out. - Are you insane? - Where are you saying this? - I'm saying very low voices while it's searching through the cabinets. Not knowing if it has per natural hearing. - On the other side of the gallery? - There's not a lot of space. - Well, we're in the hallway to the past. - Okay. - Okay, that's better. - We'll hold it. - So the family can hear you. - Exactly. - But the dude cannot. - We seal the gondola. - We crash the settlement. - In the water. - In the water, and we swim away. - In the middle of the ocean. - No. - On the shore. Like right next to the shore, we have 50 feet, 100 feet, whatever. So it sinks to the bottom. It's sealed. We all swim the safety, including the women and children that you're so concerned about. - We have to bring the seal to get out. - No, we wouldn't. We would take them out now. - Are you okay to swim with one arm? - Yes. Thank you very much. - It's the metal arm that's the problem. - It's not me, sure. - As long as we're close enough to shore, the new wall makes its way around and kind of walks through, sees the lot of you, sniffes at you, pays no attention, just kicks open a door. I'm looking for someone. - Carry on. - Someone deserves it. - Well, that's what who are you looking for? - Let him kill the last person, and we'll be done with it. - We don't see that's not how it works. He's looking for vengeance, so he does that, and then once that's done, he's looking for more vengeance, and then he takes out the vengeance. - It keeps going. - They explained in front of the vengeance demon. - I want to know who he wants to kill. - I want to know who he wants to kill to be responsible for this crowd. - I'll help you find him. - You help me? - I guess at this point I'm going to have to help him. - Yes. - He has helped me find, and then he brought me here. - Yes. - Swear it. - I swear it. - Take a put in corruption. - Whoa, man. - Oh, Nick, you just do stuff. - I mean, you're on cocaine. - You're saying that? - I'm not responsible for it, man. - I just said I'd help him, and now he's asking you to help him kill people. - Well, but I mean, I kind of felt like if I said no, I said I would. - I'm not going to kill myself. - I kind of just had to agree with it. - Don is very self-centered. - My problem is what I didn't do right now. - There are two people. - Did I hear or see this conversation? - Yeah. - Just right here. - Take up the phone to engineering. - Okay. - Action. - You walk into the next room, pick up the phone to engineering. - And I whispered into the phone to pick someone. - It rings. - You guys just want to give you a heads up. - Why would you do that? - So, I'm telling the good doctor that the only way to get through this is to - Seal up his eyes. - Yeah. - And if you were Portuguese or French, my chance? - No, don't agree with you. - All right. - After the last conversation that's happening. - I think that Sebastian Dunn and the creepy dude are going for a walk. - No, no, no, no. You can't enter your room and keep them there just for a few minutes looking around. That's all we need. Can you do that? But I just told him I'd help him. - Yes. Perhaps they're in your room. - He said. - Perhaps they are. - Right. - Gosh, I'll go get high. - Thank you. If he can just get the creature into his room for a few seconds, maybe with a door shot, is getting other people up onto the catwalk. Everyone out of the gondola, the passenger gondola, except for Sebastian and the creature. - I think with their intuition or knowledge of me, they have accepted that I'm not trying to help. - I've never heard the conversation. - Yeah, it's like you've sent it right in front of everyone. It's a very small hallway. - Right. - But maybe they think that I'm trying to keep him distracted to stay down here. - Yes, that's how I took it. - That's how my creature took it. - Oh my god. - In a very positive light. - Are you lying to him? - I'm not making a decision yet. I'm waiting to pick the winning team at the last possible moment. - Sebastian leaves his odds open. - I'm going to leave the corruption there. - I'm going to leave the corruption there. - I'm going to leave the corruption there. - I'm going to leave the corruption there. - I'm willing to hand people over to their death and I don't care who they are as a corruption worthy statement. - Yes. - No, but only if it suits me. - Right? - Which is still corruption? - Only if I win. - Which is getting worse. - I just want you to understand where this is coming from. - Since he's like working with this thing now, can he ask it questions like, "Who have you killed?" And so we know who all it is. So we can maybe piece together. - Who's loved? - Who is? - It's just open indoors right in the hallway. You can ask him whatever you want. - So when they go into the room, though, I want to immediately knock on the door of Karens and be like, "Go go go go go go go go." - Mr. Pichard opens the door. Like just a jar. - Yes. - Hi, there's a lot of shit going down right now. People are dying and the only place that's safe is the engineer gondola. We need you to leave right now with your children if you want to live. - Okay. - The thing your doctor just told them that someone's going to try to come and kill the guys in engineering. - Right. - So he's going to make sure not to let anyone in. - Hans tells me, right, that someone's going to kill us. - Oh, yes. - Hans, we should barricade the doors. We need to be able to control the gondola. - Hans, it's probably the one that he needs to kill. - Well, that's, I don't know yet. - Nobody told me about the demon. Hans, if someone is coming to kill us, we control the entire Zeppelin from here, right? I mean, well enough that we can stop it from crashing into the ocean. So we should probably be the safest once. - If we barricade the doors, nobody can get in and try to kill the people keeping everyone else alive. It's not selfish. It's just safe. - Lock the door. - Right. I'll go do that. - What are you doing? - All right. - I'm going to try to get into this masm. - Okay. We could take whatever you're scared of. - I'll kick it. - Junk and bravado's plan. - The masm looks at you, takes a sip, and says... - I watched him rip the hearts out of four men. - And he's seeing you fight. - All three of them monkey men. He's trying to throw some kind of-- - She's coming to our part engines. It's awfully racist of you. Assume that I know how to fight. - Just think of them as a big engine. - Well, my sister's in there. I don't like her much, but without her, my house is going down. I'm going in, and I think I could use man of your talents in there with me. All right, I'm persuading him. - Normally we do the full social combat, but as it is like nearing 11 o'clock, we're going to do what's called a one-flip combat. - Oh, yeah. - That's what I'm best at. - Look. - I don't want everybody to get everybody involved. Maseline's social defense is a four. So if you can succeed against him, I will let you convince him. - I am using parlay, and what, reason? - No, this is a reasonable presence. - Presence. - Presence. - Presence. I will let you use-- it's parlay. - Have you used parlay? - Presence parlay. - What's that? - Hold on, I have a talent mastery for one core skill. - What's that mean? - That's shorter. - You have a mastery. - That's your fighting mastery. - Oh, wait a minute, man. - Let me do that. - Okay. - If you're punching people, it's really helpful. - Yeah, I want to punch this guy in the sense, but I can't. So, yeah, I'm convincing him. - All right, so what do you have? - What's your total? - My total is four. That cancels us. Defense, and I just need to get a positive as they need. - Right. - Yes! - Oh! - What's going on? - Excellence. - I suppose that's the only way I'm going to survive. - Follows you back. - Come on, buddy. - All right. - We're talking about Trump and we're all stuff buddies. - Can I convince Big Karen with a card flip? Just a quick social combat for him? Go, go, go. - Shoot him. - You need to convince if he will leave. - Okay, great. - He takes his people, they go. - Right. - And then someone else beginning the... - Yeah. - The other dude, the Brazilian. - We're convincing the Brazilian. - What's going on? - He looks at the naked Brazilian that is walking down the hallway. What is going on? - We're getting away from him from this way. - Right. You make it back inside. - It's possible. - We all then leave except for Sebastian and... - I call engineering. - Stop calling engineering. Get up. - Dear God, get up. I answer. - Hello, yes. - Around some of the naked Brazilian guys came here as far away. - What? - And I'm whispering in there. I'm tweeting to engineering before the thing that's going to come in and kill you guys. And I hang up. - I really wanted him to tell me that it's shapeshifted so I wouldn't let anyone in, but now I can't. - Okay, so we are up there. We wait hopefully for Sebastian to be able to disengage himself from the naked Brazilian hard-eating creature. And if not, you can seal in. - Where are you going? - Oh, nope. I'm ready. [laughter] - Where are you the last one up? - Who's the last one up? - It would be me and just me and you. - Because they're searching the rooms. - Because he's probably worried about these rooms. - They're going to search the rooms. - They've got to be in the room. - They've got to be in the room. - Who's the second last one? - With a negative five flip there, what do we get? - I said I was doing a percentage on whether or not you could search the rooms, like would take enough time for them to escape. And so since you drew a three, that was below pretty much any percentage I could come up with. - It worked. - You had like a 40% chance of succeeding and you drew a three. - So you're welcome. - Like the number of the corner, right? - Perfect. - So you've convinced him long enough. We're all up on the walkways. You've got the accruitements ready for the ritual. - Oh, it's my specialty, I guess. - I tell him to search the rooms. - One last time. - The gun. - Well, I searched the front of the gondola. - It's crucial to not escape. [laughter] - She's so not done. - I'm glad. I would be bored. - I worked my way closer to the stairs and begin shooting at the creature. [laughter] [applause] - And I tried to run away. Keep looking. - He's on. - Look over there. - Everyone else is up. So at this point, if I'm doomed, you can close me in. - Sebastian Dunn is on cocaine. [laughter] - This is a great plan to survive. - I mean, I'm retreating as I shoot. It's not really like a-- - By the way, we are all hovering right above that hatch. - Ready to close it. - And if there's any doubts-- - I would say we've already-- - It's the one the creature could get through. Sebastian's a gondola. - I'm dealing everybody in. Regardless of where you are. - Caspos recording at State Seaguers. Thank you very much. He came here with a plan. - I'm getting three times four because you're getting here. I don't know if that will represent how long it takes you to get here. - Whoa, it's one to two. - Yeah. It's not necessarily in the rules. It's just something that we do from time to time with privilege. - Being crazy. - Really, really good. - Place your initiative parts face up. You're gonna find out whether or not you can kill it. - Yeah, I think that's all the truth we got. - It's one of those situations where one person, Sebastian, potentially dies, or all of Europe. - Well, but we're not going to Europe. I changed my mind. - Oh, well, Germany's still in Europe. - Still. - We're not going there. - Okay. - Here's the two questions I have. - Go. We're not going to get to the end of my corruption for having now - Saved everybody? - Valuately sacrificed everybody. - Yeah. - Because choosing to sacrifice yourself. - No, I mean, I'm shooting at the thing trying to escape. I'm not like, trying to redeem myself. - Accidentally, murdering yourself. Fair enough. - Don't worry. - I didn't really want to get rid of corruption through acts of atonement. - Okay. - So if you've martyred yourself to save other people after trying to sell people out. - Yeah. - So get rid of your corruption. - Yours is always going to be great. - But I didn't really at any point sell anybody out though. - I did kind of like how do you want to trade. - That's why I was like, do you mean to or not? - Well, I'm waiting to pick the winning team. Was my plan? - I wasn't sure. - That's correct. - Technically. - If you don't really get the corruption until there are ramifications for your decisions. - Okay. - So now, but here in all seriousness, can they seal me in the capsule? - Yeah. - Oh, cool. - So they could seal it, even if it takes 40 minutes from that point to seal it. - What? - It takes until someone breaks glass paint. - Yeah. She has to hold through it. - I was going to rescue him, but I'm already out of it. - Or it crashes and then glass breaks. - Oh yeah. Keep it there. - Cool and nice and slow. - I mean, he did throw somebody through the last window, so we pretty much got to hold by shooting because. - All right. Is everybody ready? - Ready. - Who's got a five? - I need that coffin now. - I got a five. - I don't have a idea. - You're five? - The two slows out of four. - You can't act first. You see the gun drawn. - I can wait on it though, right? - You can wait on it. - Because I'm going to wait to see if he fires. - He comes up first and let him up first. - Is it? - Monster starts beating him through the thing, now I'm slamming the thing. - Just to speed through this process, is anyone going to act before Sebastian? - No. - Then we're going to move to it too. - Yeah. - Wow. - What does the view as a threat yet? So it's not going to attack. - So I'm going to get to the top of the, to the top of the ladder before I pull the trigger. - Let's follow you. - Well, I mean, but I have to be in front of it and it's pretty much if I pull the trigger and it doesn't die, I'm dead. So I'm going to try to get out. It's probably going to kill me. - All right. Let's do this. Let's flip your two and declare your action. In combat, you get an action, a move, and a maneuver. An action is anything that requires a skill test. A maneuver is anything that does not require a skill test. And a move is, you get to move about ten feet. - I'm going to shoot. - All right. - I'm going to move towards the door. - Well, is a maneuver, could he aim? - Yes. You want to aim? - Yes. I will maneuver. - He's reacting to you. But you have a brain show up as you're going to go first. You want to aim? - Aim. - Aim. - And shoot. And then if you want to move, you can move. - Yeah. Aim, move, shoot. - Yeah. - Aim, shoot, move in that order towards the ladder. - It is unarmed. So you have reach. So you're going to go first. - So I'm going to pass some cards. - Your bullets happen to be silver? - Yeah, because... - Along the table, you may attack if it has a physical defense. - Physical defense of six currently. - My grades is two and my firearms. - Your grades is three and firearms is two. - Zero five. - So you're going to negative one before you flip. - Yes. - Yes. - Yes. - Yes. - The cards in the table. It doesn't matter what he does, you have shot the no-all. On the first flip. - Winning. - Winning. - Yay. - Beautiful man. - Winning. - That is a direct outcome. So I can't fort it. - Did you throw the powdered silver in the way of the bullet? - I forgot you didn't know that. - The bullet goes right through is the top of his shoulder and out somewhere near his waist. You see his expression turn from... - Oh gosh. - I'm following you and everything's okay to... - Very angry. - It looks up, uses its action, rips the ladder, closes its eyes, and then all of a sudden you blink and it's a hummingbird. - Oh, all right. - It uses its move to fly straight up past you. - I hit her up. (laughing) - I'm interrupting. I'm slamming a door and going, real swimming it. One thing is he should have got his move, right? He aims. That was his maneuver. He did his amazing shot. And then he should have got his move. So he should be up and out, which means we could interrupt with closing the hatch if we wanted to before the new wall came up as a hummingbird. - Is that correct? - Okay. - Just wanted to see if we can do that. - He escapes? - Yeah. Sebastian escapes. - Okay. - I think Grover had already had his hands on the thing. That's why you have five. - Hey, flip away. Everyone flip away. - Any two cards can interrupt. - Yeah, you have to flip two. - Casper would have it. - Just in case something goes wrong, multiple people should try to do it. And I'm going to, actually I'm going to do it too. - I'm going to have a zero. - He's an interrupt. - He's an interrupt. - He's an interrupt. - You're interrupting our interrupt? - What wins out? Highest value? - Highest flipped value. - Ooh, which is why you don't want to always flip. - Yeah. - And stay at cars. - Oh yeah. - Oh, that changes. - Okay, what's new wild gods? You got a five with better than a 90. Eight on it. - 97. - Woo! - Yay! - Just why you wanted interrupt as well. - Okay, it's interrupt. - Everyone has to do. - Oh, oh, oh, oh. - Night night. - We win. - Shut it. - So, realistically, what happened was he did turn into a hummingbird. - Yes. - And he started to fly up, but just by literally the size of a second, one hundredth of a second. - Right. - It closes. He was streaming for it, and he got caught and got totally smashed. - Yeah. - And he got quick. - And died. - He died horribly. It's over. - He interrupted what was an interrupt of what was Nick's turn. - Yes. So the hummingbird actually gets smashed in the hatch. It is obliterated. - In the hatch. - Right? - You can make an attack of the hatch if you want to. - Why not? - Why not? - That's exactly why not. - 'Cause you're just gonna make it angry, guys. - Well, if it's a hummingbird, hey, it's been wounded. - Yeah, all right. - It's a bleeding, wounded hummingbird. Hatch closing on it. It's gotta kill it. - Casper is really glad he doesn't know anything about-- - This is anything that we saw in my pack is, what and what? - It's gonna be melee, great. - Pissed melee, great. - That's not a great suffer combo, melee. - Oh, that's my high score of zero. - That's a default. - Well, that's what? - Grace. - Grace. - Which is a two. - It's two. - Seven. - Seven. - Seven. - Oh, five right now. - Is a hummingbird? - Okay. - Five. - So minus three. - Beat a three. - Go. - Oh! - Oh, no. - No, you can't. - I can't. - It's still sealed. - Right, just didn't crush it. - No damage. - No, if we were playing a long running campaign, I would probably have it smash a window fly around and try to kill you guys. But since it's 11 o'clock and we've been here for hours, it's sealed! Flip! Cast your ritual! - All right. - We need to shuffle. - Well, wait, we need to shuffle. We need to shuffle after the fight, we're old fate. - Difficulty five. - Okay, does it matter that binding is an asset of a mind? - That's what allows you to do it. - I'm more with several, but God. - Now, because you have the ringer, Dr. Ian can help you with this, because he has anyone with a mystery skill. - What are you, mysteries and what? - Will and mysteries. - We need to read six. - Will. - Is there a negative one? - Same with you, Jim. - Will, or are yours the ones? - I'd spend a point of view here and recast that. - Jim can assist, right? Keep it flipped over though, 'cause that card was used. - You have to spend a point of view through cast it. - And flip. - Yay! (all clapping) - Yay! - The fake card is disabled. - I'd say the dice are loaded, but it's cards. - Yeah. (all laughing) - How many fake cards are in the stick? - Just one. - Just the one. - We've seen it like three times tonight before, maybe? - We're very lucky. - We've gotten doomed twice as well. - Yeah, I mean, it's like crazy. - That's really lucky. - Okay, the ritual goes off. You seal the beast in the gondola. And once the magical ritual is completed, it cannot escape, even though it's own will. - You've wrecked glass? - Not itself. - But it tried to ignite it out. - Well, we're not, 'cause now we are gonna crash it into the ocean. - Okay, let me tell you a thing or two about gondola glass. It is not a submarine. - Thank you, Fitz. That's my job. - 'Cause while I said landing, it's better than crashing it, letting it out. - Why don't we just turn it around? - We'll let it out the first place. - Why don't we just see that out? - What let it out in the first place? - I opened it next week. - But I think it happened before. - Well, I don't get to just turn it around and take it back to the rainforest where it works. - 'Cause it's really pissed at me and I don't wanna get away from it now. - Yeah, if you think vengeance, I mean, it's got like an immediate vengeance right now on the last-- - Okay, but it can't get out. - Yeah, hopefully somebody doesn't go, oh, cool, a Zeppelin, let's open it up and take a look. - I think Krik had something to do with it 'cause it was pretty pissed off at the crew, which was what the Krik was associated with. - Yeah. - As a closer, who's heart was he? - Who's he even saying that it's gonna land on the glass when we go into the sea? It could flip over and land on it, rigid part of the-- - I tried to say Krik. - Okay, I got a casket here that's gotta get out. What's your sign this piece? - We've got this demon that's a little bit more important. - Yeah, I don't think it'll happen to me. - Yes, but what do we do with it? We need to crash it into the ocean and hope that the glass doesn't break. - Casper will not allow that thing. - That is one, I'll social combat your ass so bad you won't know what's going on. - I won't hang up so many phones. You won't be able to talk to me. I am barricaded. - I will scream through the door. It's a fate through the fate. It has to be one powerful ritual. It probably reinforced the glass. - I think we should just safely land it. - I think-- - Walk away. - Right, I think we're done either way. - You can land it and let it float somewhere. - It'll fall stream or you can land it in the middle of the desert or the middle of the-- - The rainbows will leave it there. - I think that's the best idea. - I like that. - I'm all for it. It seems kind of poetic to land in the rainforest. Some of the trees and kind of just come settling in the remotest part of the Amazon and just pick our way back out. - I actually like that because I can talk to anybody who's going to pick them up. And the two catwalks go to the end and there's no other scares from your down. - Thank you person, there's no here. - I just saw that. (laughing) - Oh, I hit the deck and hold on to the rails. See if there's an explosion or not. - No, in fact. - That was a good question to ask. Are you sure you use the flash? I didn't even think about it until later. - Just a little hint at the GMSU three times, whether you want to do something or not, the answer is usually no. - I'm wrong. (laughing) - It's a reverse course, that if you're-- - You're an initiative person to face up. I'm simply asking you, are you sure you're okay with getting a physical condition? - Mm-hmm. - By the way, for the third time. I don't care about him. Shush. (laughing) - Crazy monkey man is not my job. - You don't want to watch for walks past him. - This place, I'm telling you why I don't care. I just don't care. - Casper walks past Fitz, he's like, what? - Fitz, get up and stop being drunk. You lost a fight to a monkey man or didn't even touch you. - Heating element that we used for the, I'm not here, sorry. (laughing) I just remembered. - The first player to ever mention that. - Thank you, I'm glad. John, do we even know he killed anyone? - Giant monkey man, what? - Somebody fell through the glass window, that's all we saw. - Propelled by giant monkey arms. - Quite small, but still. - Fitz is pretty drunk and-- - Yeah. - Pretty convinced the monkey did it. - That's fair. - I just realized that I have mastered binding and vanishing spirits. - Excellent. (laughing) - So, it was designed for this adventure. - It's amazing. (laughing) - Guys. - That's what I wanted to do. - That's what I wanted to do. - I just figured out how much-- - I just heard my character's here. - I just heard my character's here. - At 11 o'clock. - Hey, for this. (laughing) - If we're all waiting for him to act, it wasn't just before we were four. - Because you have to do that. - Yeah, hi, it's Carl. - Uh, mama. - I kind of wanted to do it gigantic, useful. - Yeah, we didn't get to work at guard in, you know, those school aspects of the game, right? - It was 'cause there was a door. - So, if my shooting him, all it did was make him angry. - Yes. (mumbles) - If you got a minus two penalty, it's why I hit a defensive five right now. - I'll go down. - So, if we were doing a continuing campaign and we would come back next week and that would help a great deal. - Okay. - It might even be, well, though, 'cause he didn't place a condition on it or bleeding, right? So, it doesn't, it wouldn't, well, please. - Actually, my condition-- - So, it might be bleeding with my weapon. - With my weapon. - All right, your weapon automatically calls it bleeding? - It says condition bleeding. - Mm-hmm. - This hummingbird is bleeding. - It'll bleed out. - Which would just flicker blood everywhere. - Oh, it is. - Right, yeah, with two of the wings. - This hummingbird is bleeding. - It's pretty interesting. - They'll have no contact. So, it'll be brilliant. - Heart pumps so fast, it's just like that.
