Anyways, congratulations, Travis, and we'll get those out to you as soon as we hear from you. And now. So this is chapter 16 of the world of darkness story shit luck. The storyteller Scott, this will be our last chapter of this particular story. And with us here tonight from my right is Tom playing a character J. Greg playing the character of Lucius Miles. Mike playing Michael Clay by playing Special Agent Chew Park. Oh, just, sorry. These can't go up until we get to Billy C's on this one. Right, you can pass the run. And what you see there, the creature that you see in the room, is an amalgamation of a woman, and a heartbeat. The CEO. At this point, the idol is almost shaking in your hand. And as you enter into the room, it's like hunch down, like bent, and its arms are out, almost like it's ready for action. Like it knows that you, you know, mean, no good. I don't know for her. Lucius, no! Send in the doctor. Well, though, I mean, we still have that fine initiative. We still have that guard, that's what I mean. Oh, uh, not so good role, but still. What, you want me to hack up the guard? Thirteen. Now you can hit the guard. You guys are where we need to be. He served his purpose. Okay, so that's cold. I'll take the, I'll take the arrangement. The history means anything from Georgia actually. Black's just flammable. Why don't we just set this entire fucking place on fire? It's around the middle of it. We're running, just set the whole place on fire. You just said we kicked it out. Oh, good? Yeah, I don't know. May's. There might be like an elevator behind her. Yeah, the elevator leads right out to the elevator. Okay, so what are you supposed to do with this aisle? The aisle, I know, will just have Bann. Ah, thirteen. On her. That will attempt to prevent her from dispersing. And now I guess we try to cause a lot of shame. It's just possible. Would you roll? I roll the twelve. Eight. Jay, you're first. Hit her? He's very, very good guard. Oh no, I got a shotgun out. If I'm hitting anybody, it's her. All right, then, um, did you say you had a shotgun out? I told you I was getting all my weapons out there. And I wasn't putting them in the guns. Into places I thought you meant like in them. But it's easy for someone. Yeah, I could hold a shotgun out of the bag. Well, I haven't invoked the ridge yet. Fast drive? I do. Then in that case, you can draw and shoot in the same turn. Um, no. I have fast reflux and fighting marksmanship. I do not have fast. You're more used to sniping, maybe. So, I'm going to say that, at least for this first turn, you have to draw up the shotgun. I'll do that then. Oh, shotgun, close range of sniper. I shouldn't even have to roll to hit. Oh, oh, I'll hit. He'll hit. There's no doubt about that. Oh. I'll hit. No, I have raffy. What kind? I possess the wings. Where is the horrible Moramatharis? She's ugly. I'm a lost woman. Oh, I like the little tail. You always did. Yes. So, Jay, you have a chance to move if you wanted to. You choose to move into the room and all. You just, like, stand in the doorway with your shotgun. I'll move to the side to allow others to enter. And I'll take point to draw her. Okay. Do you move to the right or do the left when you enter into the room? Ah, to the right. Okay. I hate to bring this up, but I'm guessing you need to be rolled. Something's even going to that room, right? Oh, no, I bought it off. Okay. After dealing with the queen and Benjamin, I'm staying in the hallway. Yeah, I figured that's why I didn't mention anything, but here's the doorway. I have bought off the avoided... the good pleasure. I'll see you in a full flow of jelly right now. Oh, my gosh. I think he would have probably went himself. What do you use a weapon? How do you actually hit somebody? Fence on what you're trying to do. If you're using a hand-to-hand weapon, it is strength plus weaponry. You have a skill called weaponry, and you have an attribute called strength. If you're trying to shoot somebody from a distance, it's dexterity plus your firearms. If you're trying to punch somebody, it's strength plus brawl. If you're trying to throw a weapon at somebody, it is dexterity plus weaponry. Got it. All right. Okay. J steps into the room, and it takes us to both Mira Mutharis and Mike, our tide roll off, baby. Eight. Do I add anything? Straight up. It was just like a tie normally. Okay, six. She just barely reacts before I do. Just barely indeed. But the idol is at full power. In your opinions and blood. I've got him. I'm carrying him. So there are a lot of things I've brought with me. She makes the same noise that many of the others have made up to this point where there's this buzzing and these words coming out mixed in with the buzz, and you can't quite figure out what she's trying to say. It's just the language that you can't pass the comprehend. But she stands her ground and doesn't seem to do anything. Then based on the knowledge imparted to us by the foul werewolf, I will invoke the ban upon her. I got the stuff. I got it. Now he's so like he said, and it literally is moving in your hand. And it's shocking you, but it's not a shock that's, it's painful, but it's not the damaging point. And you're grabbing onto it and you've got the blood, and you've got the pinions. And she looks at you and goes, like makes this horrible, hissing noise. It just crawls down the back of your spine. And I have to react or do I have to be scared? Oh yeah, she's definitely trying to, what is your wasp resolve plus composure? I mean, we're looking at it as a dice pull, Michael. My resolve and composure is for a dice. It's just to prevent your shot from wetting on here. Well, I can pee all I want as long as I don't like your own the idol. It's not the first time I've wet myself before. He said boldly. And just so you know, my weapon I have anticipated attacks, so. That doesn't really mean anything. When she hisses, she's looking directly at you. No one else. And it's just, I mean, this spittle comes out and there's just this rage look, and it's almost as if some power just grabs your heart and just just crushes it with terror. I mean, you are just absolutely terrified. You've never seen a creature like this before. And it's just. What do you think, Doc? I think it sucks to be the chosen one. Yeah, whoa. What's this guy doing that guy this? He hasn't done anything just yet. Three successes, baby. All eight. Three successes with a 10. Oh, it all comes down to this diagonal, maybe. I'm going to roll in the open for our listening audience. Oh, it's true. Do you want a body lift? I know. Yeah, we just said. Yeah, I mean, you now, again, just because this is a learning experience for us, all I had to take is out of the game, but he could have spent a willpower. And added two to his resistance. It's going to add in two dice to his resistance. Resolve and composure. Yeah, that's an option. That's one of the things that. It's add three dice or plus two to a resistance trait. Right. This is a resistance trait. He's resisting the effects of this. Oh, gosh. This manipulation upon you. This creature has done something supernatural nature. Try to grab your heart and just terrify you to death. And you have fought it off amazingly, actually. Because she was drawing nine dice. So, yeah. So, I mean, you quake, you quiver, you feel the sweat, but you stand tall. This is Cleveland, baby. This is my time. I am the spirit of Cleveland. I am going to open takeout my shotgun. And yeah, fast drop. I do not. All right. And do what? Stuck to the loft. Stuck to the loft. What is the security here I'm doing? Hasn't anything yet. All right. Doctors got that. It's going to hit over on. You moving into the loft? I will move to the left. Okay. And aim the shotgun at the foul beast. Yes. Daxwing Lucius. It is your turn. I know. I want to knock this guy unconscious. Just make sure he's not out of the room. Which side to aim for his head? Yes. Which I understand is minus three, but I have a sap and it gives me something. By design, it's design in that people. Yeah. It is design. I believe if you are just able to match his stamina. So I'm using the bat instead of the sap. Okay. You have the damage to the bat can do? Yeah. It's three bashing. Great. And so three bashing plus your weaponry plus your strength. And swing. You've got to be shooting. Oh, you have two zeros. That's a good thing. Um, another zero. Uh, three successes. Out of a couple of billion. Well, though you actually started with how many guys? Seven. Seven. Seven. Okay. Because you went before the guard in the initiative round, he doesn't get his defenses. He's surprised. And you bashed him. You weren't bashing him in the head. He didn't subtract three dice for the head, did you? Uh, no, I did not. Okay, so you hit him with three bashing damage. You know, basically to his shoulders. You know, you call him in the shoulder blades. And he staggers forward, but remains standing. Turns around and pulls out his weapon. But he doesn't have fast draw either. Mm-hmm. Guess who's going to go for, guys? How do you determine how much damage I'm doing today? One damage for every success. Which is why you want to roll as many successes as possible on that. Now you could have also risked will. Oh, what is the size of the size? Three successes would have been an exceptional success. He was trying to knock him out, though, is what he was trying to do with the size thing. Yeah, the size thing is good as a set. Right. So, I guess the point is don't hold back on will, though. This is the end game, gentlemen. So, did you knock him out with the... No, his size is five, he did three damage. Oh, right. Oh, however, if he would have said an exceptional success, it's three, because he risked his willpower. I would have given that, it would have knocked him out. It would have been my history to hit. Right, but three damage is still substantial. There's nothing wrong with that. Jay, you're up. I say die, you bitch, and I shoot her. Got the shotgun in blast. Okay, speaking of that. I am spending a will. I have my dice. Oh, wonderful. She is going to... Die, I hope. Die. And you're using the white phosphorus rounds, right? Oh, yeah. So, the shotgun? Do you have white phosphorus rounds? No, I don't know. Just kidding. But it sounded really, really cool. Yeah, still teams used to use them in Vietnam, and you could use them a little bit. It was like shooting almost a confusion gun, but the problem was that once you used it a couple times, the rifle, no, shotgun was ruined in the process. No, but if, if sister... Go ahead. You have, she's close range, and there's no minuses, as far as you can tell. If sister Katie was here, she would bless this weapon, then it would be very, very nasty, but she's not. I'm only 16 dice. Good luck. It's what I do. You're in your element. One, two, three, four, only four. But one was a zero. Do you have any knives? Because shotguns are nine again. Now, they're all eight to the zero. Three, eight to the zero. Does suck. And an eight. Five. Five successes. And the whole... What about the band? Don't we all have the band on the first? He did. I have another round. He's, he's cast a stop. He's like, oh, that wasn't that easy. That easy. A band in bed? Strike this. Check me out. Can I've already repelled the major spiritual attack from her? Okay. True not. Well done. So easier than I thought I could jump. Well, so easy. Even Michael Kleyk can do it. Your shotgun, you know, obviously goes fully into her thorax. She has some armor plating there, which seems to absorb some of the damage. But she definitely, you know, some got through. That was five. And there was, you know, That was exceptional success. Yes, there was some splatters of... Ick her. Ick her, Ick her, if you will. Thank you. That are sprayed on the scene. So it is her turn. I think I pissed her off. She's displeased. I was hoping I did. You see her speaking in that voice again. But this time the cadence is different from the, maybe the initial time, when maybe it will pocuse. Trying to communicate or something? Lucie, I'm home. She's no longer communicating. She's a chuse. Chacuse. The temperature composure, Jay. Three. She, you know, whispers something in that very disturbing white noise, meets radio frequency, meets some ethereal language. And if I can spend a will to defend, I am. You have to spend a will. It's not risky. Yes, I know. I've got two left. So... And I'm gonna have to re-roll her dice, hold on. Okay. So it adds two to your composure. So your composure goes from two to four. You know, it goes from three to five. Oh, yeah, right. She was nine, minus three, with six. So that takes me now to four. Makes me happier. Oh, nice. That's right, bitch. Nothing happens is, again, you feel a nausea and dizziness come over you. I scared no bees. Not anymore. You feel, you know, basically you start to see, you see like two, three, five of her. And then through sheer force of will, you just focus your mind just like a basic. And she's back to one being, right in front of you. Visitrating. And at that point, she lifts off from the ground. Her wings start fluttering this mad fluttering sound and she actually rises up in the air. And it is Michael's turn. Perhaps now you still have the travelocity. No, no, I have to hold on to it. That's the whole, it's not a... Oh, the spirit. The spirit, all right. So then what happens? You got it? Sound pleasant. I... All right. You give yourself to the spirit? I... Ride me, big spirit. Ride me, baby. [Music] And emerges, nice huh? With that fade out. Right, right, right. That's really... Yeah, put it down. You take a deep breath and it smells of smoke in coal. That's clear. And when you look, you look out at her and she's through a haze, a smog like haze. And when you take it, yeah, definitely the deep breath is, is like I said, coal and just a steel town through and through. And you feel strong, you feel it. Your sinus feels strong. You feel like almost like an iron worker, you know, working in the mines. You absolutely just take on this feeling and all of your senses. The chosen one becomes the chiseled one. Right. And Michael speaks a device that is not his own. And again, it's in a ethereal tongue that you cannot understand what the bee was just speaking in. And he takes the idol and raises it in the sky. He slams it onto the ground, shattering it into a million pieces, which fly up into the air and become wasps. And they start moving towards her. Now, now I believe he's possessed because Michael would never do that. I think he would ever destroy like a million pieces. That is so not Michael. What, what, what? Chew, you're up. Well, this is impressive. I kind of watched the show, but there's a security there, drawing his weapon. So yeah, you hear a grunt and then him spin around and go, I'm going to, I'm going to hold my shotgun up to him and say, you know, drop the weapon, don't even pull it. And if he does, I'm going to shoot him. I ain't no rubber bullets in this thing. He pulls it. Oh, well, I'm going to shoot him in the upper hand. Actually, you say that to him. He put the gun up to the back of him and it solutions his turn. Good. I hit him again. So this time I aim for the head. And I'm going to throw some willpower behind it. All right. And what is it going to be? Nine again? Three successes equal exceptional success or three extra dice? No, you're adding three dice. Let's go for it, right? Bingo, bingo. Come on. Well, it could be. Could be. Two zeros. No, two successes. All right. He spins around. You clock him in the head. Kind of falls down to one knee. There's blood coming from his temple, but he's still cognizant. Pulls out his gun. All right. I shoot his hand or arm. Two intervenes because he played an action. I'm going to go for the arm. Arm? Yeah. Do you recall the penalty for that? Is it two? Arm, I believe is two. All right. I'm rolling seven dice. Okay, close range. No minuses for that. Eight dice, laser aim. Got it. I see zeros. Eight, eight, zero. And that's it. I rewrote that at zero. Three successes. That's a lot of damage. He falls on. Well, he falls to the ground. Good. But he's still conscious. Yeah. Really? That's an advantage for him right now. Yeah. When you get all the way to the end, you then get a stamina roll each turn to stay conscious. He stays conscious and he fires off the shot at the kneecap of-- Doc, he's finishing his action, which he interfered with. So he's firing off the shot from the ground as he collapses from the shot. Does he have all the minuses that are-- Oh, he's going to have some minuses. He's minus. We'd be fair. It'd probably be me, right? It's-- The doctor just hit him twice with a baby. Yeah, no, it's-- But I'm there. I know what the command was. And so he does fire at the doctor. Because his last three boxes of health are filled. Minus one, two, three. So minus three dice to his dice for that. Plus he's prone. Plus it's close range. So you get your defense. You get to try to knock the gun away with your foot as he raises up towards you, trying to kick it away from him. Because when you're really close within one or two yards of each other, you get defense against firearms. You do not get it at a range. I hit him in the yard. Well, it's the lowest of my decks of wits, correct? Yes. Which is two dice. Okay. So we've taken five dice away from him. And the shot fires weekly past you. And so he misses you. He basically just fires out the shot. He's trying to hang on the consciousness. Right. And it takes us back to Jay, who is at the beginning. It's time to die, bitch. Shot gun. I'm risking a will and I'm saying. Well, I would say that a nine is a success, but it already is. So it's eight, nine or ten is a re-roll. Right. I see no reason to deny you that. However, because of the massive swarm of wasps that are in the air now. Now she's human size. No, just a swarm of wasps. But she is moving. And she is making herself difficult to hit at range. So I'm going to say, because of that, we're going to go with a concealment. And the concealment is going to be. We're going to go with three, because of the distance in the. All right. Watch. She doesn't get to add her defense, which is not an angel. That makes it takes it off from 13 to 10. All right. Have at it. Four successes. All of them re-roll. Exactly. Thanks. Oh, you got to kidding me. You got a single one. Four successes. Your shot was actually a little less effective than the first time. I like because of the loss. That's like the loss. But something got through. And again, there's some visceral that exits her torso. Her thorax is now her drone. She tries to crush your heart in terror. Oh, there's terror involved. And she can be a little bit minus, because she's bothered by the swarm of her natural enemy swimming over her, the wasps. Also, it should be noted that when he slammed the B statue into the ground, sparks flew out as the shards were going. And there's now three separate fires in the room. I'll draw them out. Small fires, but they're fires nonetheless. Was she just saying their backs burning? Yep. Okay. So she's trying to speak and trying to get eye contact, which is very difficult. But her magic is working through the distance between you. So you can see her like crafting her hands and she's saying something in a rhythmic tone. And you are rolling your resolve plus composure to fight the sheer terror of this beast that she whispers thoughts into your mind and grips your heart with cold terror. Oh, I don't want that to happen. No, cold terror is not like the best thing ever. And you can spend a willpower. Yes. I'm rolling five. Yes. One. One successes, well, but just a 10. So she gets to roll again. Again, look at the 10. She's good with the 10s. Oh, I can't believe it. The five. So again, you feel the icy fear coming back to you. She gave her something extra free or previous. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. I thought you pointed it off. I just wanted a little bit of terror. All right. The storyteller needs some terror. And I have journeyed through the journey of bees. It is then Michael's turn. And wait, isn't it? Emeritus, she goes first. No, no, no. She goes first. She's right after you. Right. I thought she was a change. And she went and she tried to grab your heart and rip it with terror. And she said her words was, you know, trying to fight off the wasps. And then as the wasp are just totally developing her, you hear Mike in his ethereal voice again, say something completely nonsensical and not understandable. And as the wasp hit her, when they stick their fingers into her, when they pull out, they just they're the flame that starts. And she's getting stung by just tens of these. She's starting on, you know, she's basically flaming. She's in the air at this point. And it's true. So the security guard is unconscious or just prone or... He's just prone. Wait, fire off a shot and send my conscious state. Missed Lucius. I mean, how about Lucius? Take care of him. Be him. He's on the ground. I've been over the bed. Like Lucius will beat him senseless. We know that. He just wanted to beat someone today. He needs a... I just got bored, aren't you? I'm gonna fire my shotgun at the... Vomination. Right. You spin back into the room, get down at one knee, lift the shotgun up. What's your dice pull? It should be nine. Yes. Because of her cover in the swarm and the flames about, I'm gonna say I'm gonna give him a little less than you because there's lots of wasp dying now and there's less. And she'd also flame me, which makes me... Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Before you say I'm going to spend a willpower, I guess. Okay. All right. Three extra dice, minus two because of the swarm still interfering with your vision. We're only 11 dice. Nine again. Man. Ooh. Ooh. Man. Zero. Zero. So nice. Zero. Hey, dude. Well, you know what? You know what, you know, that made up for your... Yeah, I know to roll in like that. That is a cut loose by tube. All right. Well, you got three nines and you have a shotgun too, right? Yeah. So those are all re-rolls. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven re-rolls. Holy shit. So you got seven? Yeah. Well, zero. Two zeroes. Yeah, seven, eight, nine. Two re-rolls. Nine. Kaboom. The shot from the shotgun and the flames. When the shotguns just have massive amount of pellet and heat hit their body, she explodes in the flames. Go shoot up. And goes spiraling down and collapses in just an incredible just explosion of just wing and getting the viscera from her gun and thorax and she just comes slamming down to the row with that unbelievable, almost a double exceptional success. And she bends holier together though, right? Exactly. There are, you see bees crawling out from her innards. The bees can not slip into the shadow realm or escape in any way whatsoever. They're held in by the power of the ban as in place and they just fry. And all of a sudden you realize that this place is going to burn. Her body hitting the ground. The walls start on fire. What happens to security guards? Do you still possess sort of the bees leading or...? He falls unconscious. Can you get him up? Well, what do you want me to do? You're the doctor. A adrenaline to the heart. Let's go. I seen pulp fixed it. Baseball back to the head. I'm going to turn it on to the heart. Well, it's not my turn yet. Are we out of turns? We could be out of turns. This place is going on. And you're going to have to find your way out. Right. So am I still possessed by the spirit and I have to maintain the hold on her until everything is... As soon as she hits the ground and explodes and the bees start frying, you feel as if your brain is a... Almost like a filing cabinet. And you feel... And then you're yourself again. Wow. Yeah, the audience is in that way. Yeah, so. The Michael felt someone rifling through the file cabinet of his brain and grabbing a piece of information and then with a spasm. Michael comes back too. Do I have damage? No, you just smell the remnants of the the cold and the steel and the deep regret and the heartbreak and... Well done, chosen one. Let's get the hell out of here. You're back to yourself. And this area is flaming. All right, is this guy, this security guard is when you say he's out, he's just... Unconscious. Does he have a pulse? He has a pulse. Unconscious. All right. But he wasn't until the queen went down. So, or assuming he... Give him out the mouth. I don't know. Fuck that. Well, if you want to... Well, make a decision quick because the place is pouring down. Oh, it's there. I throw him over my shoulder. I start running my ass out of the place. No, give him up. We need to figure out how to get the hell out of here. Oh, good point. I don't think he'll know any more that we do. Oh, why do you think he'll know more than we do? He will let us hear. He was possessed, he's not. But it's better than... Yeah, I'm sure. Do I have something in my magic bag that might make him wake up? Yeah, absolutely. You have adrenaline there. In your bag. Let's give this to you. All right. Go ahead and make a medicine plus intelligence. No, which role? Because you're in the field. One, two, three, four, five. And you don't have the perfect medicine because I'm not that nice of a storyteller. So it's minus two dice because you're using somewhat less effective concoctions. And the flames are licking at your heels as you're doing this. Good luck. We got one success. All you needed. Comes to... And is he's coughing? Two since he's... One small beat. Uh oh. Freaky. What? One beat. One beat. One beat. Kill it! And he looks up at you and he seems quite dazed and... Let's go! Let's go, brother! Come on! Move! What's going on? You know the way... Lock up! The bill is on fire. Get us out of here. He staggers to his feet and says, Oh! Oh! Okay. And he starts stumbling through the rooms and seeming to lead you away. But those walls are catching fire almost as quick as you can run through them as the inferno starts. Which had a good fire noise here. I know, but there's a good thing. You already called it a gas leak. So that'll cover the whole explosion that goes on here. Meanwhile, we didn't use our get out of jail free cards from the Homeland Security Department. So we recovered for the police for the apparent assault. This is all good and pretty sweet. Let's get out of here! One! And so, he does lead you out and does remember the way out. Thank God. And when you get to the opening where all the medical facility was, or not medical, but where the chemistry was taking place, they were creating their vitamin pills and whatnot. No one's there. I mean, everyone is flying the building. There is definitely a fire alarm off, but unfortunately, the sprinkler system isn't working because of the shutdown of the power. The auxiliary power does not... does not power the sprinklers. Oh, now that's a design flaw. Oh, well, yeah. I really wasn't expecting to survive, so I didn't worry about this part. You high-tail it up the metal stairs into the area of the main room. At this point, on the main floor, there's flint coming up through the ceilings from below, and it's starting in the floor on fire here. And the quickest way from where you're at is either, well, most likely it's out the front door, as opposed to... Yeah, we're not going back through the construction area. They're looking for us out there anyway. So you were scapegoating for us? Yeah, but we still haven't found out about the 12 Valkyrie members. Is there any like storage facility like... The building, how far do you go? What we do is we catch what's her name, and she comes back. Maybe she has paperwork and... Maybe son will have the information, and she'll be back to normal, and I love what you choose. You can tap that. Ooh, yeah. All right, so you saw him. Out the party, we'll be back. So you flee out the burning building into the street. There are no fire trucks. There's no police cars. There's no anything outside. With the exception of... When you think you hear some commotion over, the parking lot's still, but no one is out front. And it's your incision. Do you return to the parking lot back the way you came, or do you just dash across the street, and hope no one sees you? We should go back. Katie was waiting. Oh, if Katie's waiting, we gotta go back. So what's happening in the parking lot? She was concealed by the... At the fence, right? Right. Plus we still have more weapons. I actually have the phone. Katie, mission accomplished. Get in the car, meet us in the church. Okay. It looks really rough around the construction site. There's a lot of security guards there. A lot of people came out of the building in that direction because of the way the fire was. I'll get back to the car and I'll meet you where? At the church. We're not kicking out there yet. It's only four o'clock. So you return to the church safely. And this particular chapter is just about closed, except for one last call to Tannen. Because it's about at this point, for 20 or so. And your cell phone rates. Hello? Hello, Chew? Yes, it's me. I'm not quite sure why I'm calling you. I think I know why. Do I know you? You will. And we fade to black. That's a good way to end it. So I go back to the second safe house and I go out in the garage and I take the coin out of my pocket and I put it on the shelf in the garage and then I leave. And eventually, Winston Tate signs in a new where it's going to be there. Right, Winston Tate assigns you back to the second safe house. It's proven to be clean at this point. It's the only place that you can go to. So you step out to the second safe house and cut scene. A day later, you drive to the controlled demolition of your first safe house and the market avenue wine bar. This was a place you were supposed to be safe as you undertook your mission for task for siring. Instead, it was a place for Tony and perhaps all of you changed forever. As the building crumbles, you think about building and all that he lost, now homeless and alone. You think about how close each of you came to turning out just like him. Or poor Henry, who came to you for safety and shelter against the coming storm that he didn't even understand and was completely lost to it. And you can't help to think of Meredith and her shark of blue as they strolled from the perfect home in the city filled with darkness and how you were forced to bring their search to an end. And finally, you can imagine a cold, lonely Victorian house with a strange old man taking a bumblebee stuffed animal off his daughter's bed and putting it away for the last time as his eyes filled with tears. [Music] Back at the second safe house, the storm rolls in cold and terrible. Torens of rain pour like tears from the wounded sky. Through the kitchen window, you see the shadow of a large dog. No, a wolf, moving through the darkened landscape. It arrives at the garage door, drenched and exhausted, but still wary. The rain falls harder for a moment and you lose sight of it. The rain lessens and you can see Billy lifting the garage door and stepping inside. He grabs his coin and turns to go, but pauses. Instead of leaving, he slowly pulls the door shut from inside and vanishes into the warmth and relative security of your garage. He's found shelter for at least one night. [Music] There's no funeral for John Beamer, just a toast and a round of drinks at McNulty's. Although losing him was tragic, he's found a safety and a peace that you survivors can only dream about. The Weatherman on Vars TV says there's another storm approaching and it looks like it's going to be worse than the one that just passed through. [Music] So the theme of this particular story was shelter. It was home, it was safety and that's why he kept losing safe houses and why it was about removing the peace security and it was about, it was about Billy and him losing his home and his shelter, his safety. So I just thought it was an appropriate song since it's called to give you shelter. It was apropos to the ending of that particular four months of playing. And the lyrics are very well in line with the shelter that everyone was seeking in this particular story. And I will answer any questions if anyone wants to answer any quick ones about the story in regards to anything that you want to know the answer to. Yeah, where is it to talk about the other story? It's going to be a long arc of a story. It's the long goal of the story. This was one story in that goal to find them and you'll find we start up next time that Tammy remembers something that Meredith or Mura Matharis told her and it will lead on as well as Tate and Jade coming up with some information finally about some leads. So between what he finds out from Tammy and what you guys find out from your handlers, that will lead to the further stories of this task force group. So finding that wasn't going to happen in this story, it was an opening salvo of a greater story. [Music] Thanks for listening to the Knights of the Night Actual Play podcast.
