About Sue Gresham:

I didn’t start out on this journey with the goal of becoming a LinkedIn Consultant, Trainer, and Speaker.

It’s evolved over time. Just as I have. In fact, my decision to become an entrepreneur and social media strategist was really a reaction to a tough job loss in 2008. It was devastating. I lost my identity. I lost my work-family. I lost my clients. I lost my friends. And, I lost my income. To top it off, it was right in the middle of the Great Recession. The industry I had worked in for over 15 years was decimated. There were very few jobs. It was bad. My first career – teaching – was an option, but my heart wasn’t in it.

I learned during that job search that I couldn’t do it alone. Most of my old network was gone. I needed to find a new one. I joined organizations in my hometown, Milwaukee. I went out and met people face-to-face. And, I discovered social media. I fell in love with all it could do.

I started my business in 2010 as a Certified Social Media Strategist teaching people how to use social media platforms to develop online relationships that help them find jobs and grow their businesses.

LinkedIn has been my favorite since the beginning. A lot of people aren’t comfortable with being “out there on social media.” LinkedIn is different. It’s a safe place for professionals to go to network online and find people they want to do business with - people they can get to know, like and trust. It’s also the safe place for them to showcase their professional expertise.

Since 2010, I have shared my LinkedIn expertise with thousands of professionals, job seekers and student through presentations, workshops, corporate trainings, and 1:1 hands-on coaching.

There is nothing I enjoy more than helping someone craft a unique professional profile and teaching them how to use easily use LinkedIn to develop and nurture their relationships and have success either growing their business or finding their next great job.
