Welcome to Feellessly Failing Hot Seat. In this EP, I fire rapid questions at one of our feellessly failing guests. P.S. I'm gonna be honest with you. I'm not so good at the rapid part. I get to intrigued by the awesome answers. Now, a new EP is gonna drop every Wednesday. So, enjoy this shorter style episode of Feellessly Failing Hot Seat. - Hello, welcome to LA edition hot seat. - Wow. - Love and load. - Oh, love and load. - Love and load that light. - I feel like you should do this entire episode in like a game show, like welcome back. - Really? - Yeah. - What's a, like how would I do it? I'm trying to get that. - So, you're welcome to the pond. - Move like sail the century. - Come on down. - Down, yeah. - Mr. Sopho. - All right, let's do it. - With those handsome blueies. - Oh, thanks boss. - Okay, LA, what's one thing you love? What's one thing you load? - Love the people, love the vibes, love the coolness, love the opportunity. And I load the noise, the busyness, and the, maybe the fact that I would like more beach. - Yeah, we do miss firing sometimes, don't we? - Yeah, yeah. - The nature. - The nature. - And the beach in Santa Monica is very different to the beach. - Very, very different. - One you can swim in, one you can't. - Yeah, exactly. What's your love in life? - Love that Americans love to connect. And I love connecting to people. That's like a really important thing for me. And I love, like I've been, that's one of my superpowers I can connect people. Don't you think? - Yeah. - Load traffic. - Traffic. - I don't like the traffic here. I drive a lot, whether it's for yoga, whether it's for auditions, whether it's for meetings, and you can easily spend three hours a day in your car. - Not ideal. - Not ideal, not fun, not fun. Not for your back either. - No, it's terrible. - No, no, a bit of an archy. Favorite meal in LA? - Oh, a temple meal, a spot like that. - It's all good. - Window burger. - Okay, favorite home cooked meal? - Oh, well, I feel like I still do the classics that we would do back home. Favorite home cooked meal, that's hard. - I know. - Oh, no, I know. I know eggplant Parmigiana. - Oh, yeah, we haven't done that for a little while. - Yeah. - Nice. - Yeah, that was definitely with the roasted peppers and the fresh bread and the basilico. - Yeah, yum, yours. - Favorite home cooked meal here? Our friend, Georgiana, sent us the Byron Bay, Green Terry, curry paste, and so that feels like a taste of home. Favorite meal out? I loved our Fagario or Figaro date. - Yeah. - That was more enjoying the martinis than the meal, per se, I got a niece, Marcel, that was really good. I am probably gonna say, well, what? What about, what's the cafe we went to? - Great white. - Yeah, I know, what's the other one? We went Christie. - All time. - All time. - I got the good-ass salad. - Yeah. - Or is it good-ass salad? I don't know. - I feel like I've had two great meals there. - Yeah, and that's really nice nighttime, don't I think? I also feel like we've had some great times of great white. - Yep. - But I wouldn't do it as my fav. - No. - I would say I've had some really fun times that you would air one, like I love sitting out in the albove on the day. So I'd probably say an air one meal 'cause it feels like a treat. And then at home, they're being curry 'cause it feels like a taste of Byron Bay. - Yep, definitely does. - Right. Are you summer or winter, LA? - Summer. - It's so hot, are you handling it? - I've been living in summer for the last four years. I'm good. - What's something on your LA bucket list that you wanna do soon? - Universal Harry Potter Studios. - Universal Studios Harry Potter world. - Are you gonna get a wand? - Or a dobby? - We'll see. Give you a wand. - Oh my goodness, that is so-- - What's your, what's your want to do? - I wanna go to Palm Springs with you. - Yep. - And take you to Pioneer Town. - Well, we're gonna go to Palm Springs. - Yeah, I wanna take you to Pioneer Town when they're film westerns. I'm just so, I love it there. The energy feels so good, it inspires me there. I really wanna like, I wanna see if we can convince your mates to come to Pioneer Town too, 'cause there's a saloon. - Yeah, well, it's gonna be 45 degrees, but we'll see. - Oh yeah. - Yes. - Yeah. - Oh. - Yes. - Okay, so maybe, they are the prettiest hikes we've ever done in my life. The Palm Springs, oh, in America, the Palm Springs hikes are flipping insane, but they are riddled with rattlesnakes. - Okay, so maybe no rattlesnakes, but we'll size up, yes, Palm Springs. - Yeah, beautiful. - And you pay a land tax, which I love, when you go there to the traditional owners of the land. - That's cool. - Yeah, I'm a fan. - Okay, love that. - Love Palm Springs. So yeah, I would say Palm Springs date with you, it's really exciting for me. What was the other question? - I think you were like summer or winter. - Obviously, obviously. - Obviously. - How many summers have I done now? - Yeah, we're summer. - Summer babes. - Summer babes. - Yeah, I love that. - Even the winter that I had in Byron wasn't winter. - I do miss the Byron sunsets. - I mean, we got beautiful sunsets here. - We do. - It's just very, it's just different. - And we're just a bit more urban, I guess. - Yeah, it would be more urban. - For sure, for sure. What is something that you want to achieve in LA? - Oh, I think I'm gonna go a little bit just airy-fairy. - Yeah. - Just connect with good people and be happy. That's really like my main goal. - I like airy-fairy. - Yeah. - Yeah, I love that. I think everything else in life falls into place when you're happy and grateful and on the right path. - A lot. - You know? - Yeah. - Do you want to flip that? - Yeah, I would just say I was just letting that land. - Well, you for the listener. - I really want to do, I really want to do a Christmas movie. - Yeah. - And I really want to host a TV show in some capacity. 'Cause I've been the segment girl in Australia, my whole career for health and wellness. So I really want to flick over to hosting. But I also want to do a Christmas, I really want to do a Christmas movie. - That'd be cool. - I think I'm going to voice something to some capacity. I think that's not too far away. But I think like if I could have a win this year, I think it'd be, my gut says it's going to be the TV hosting and the acting will come off the back of that. 'Cause I'm training my guts out as an actor. And so all that training will pay off. But I have a weird feeling, just like seeing the opportunities that are coming for me. I have a really weird feeling that that's what's going to pop up. - Yeah, exactly. And a few things are popping up. - Yeah. - It's really exciting. - Very exciting. Okay. - One wellness thing you'd recommend people to do in LA. - One wellness thing, like... - Yeah, high could be in a green juice from LA. - You can tell by his face he doesn't do any wellness things in LA. - I actually do. I've been hitting the gym. - Oh yeah. - I would say keep it simple and drink some good clean water and get some fresh air. None of these polluted BS. - Yeah. So your hikes are going to help with that. - Yeah, definitely. You? - I would say, well, obviously I teach yoga here. That is my day job, essentially, here. I would say get to a yoga class. So many great yoga in LA. It's like the other than obviously no yoga stems from Ayurveda or India. But like LA was the place that landed in America. So it's like just like what Hollywood is for movies. LA is quite a pop place for Western yoga. So you've got access to so much fun yoga. And because it's so competitive, like the welcome weeks at all the studios are so cheap. - Yeah. - They're like the equivalent of playing too much fun. - You just do welcome weeks at like... - Well, if you're only here for a week, do a welcome week somewhere and like get your daily movement in that way. - Yeah. - And that way you're going to feel great and you're going to still be connected to your body even though you're traveling. - Yeah, great. I love it. Love you. - Love you my boo to anyone listening. If you're thinking about coming to LA, go back and listen to our Monday episode. It's a tour guide, a tourist tour guide to LA for things that we've done and things we'd like to do. - Yeah. - Thanks Boo. - Thanks Boo. - Appreciate you. Love you. - Love you. - Bye.
