"Hello everyone, welcome to the Five minutes with God. Today the Holy Spirit wants to study Proverbs 3 through 4. Proverbs 3 through 4, I'm sorry. Let love and faithfulness never leave you. Bind them around your neck, write them on the table of your heart and then you will win favor in a good name in the sight of God and man. A lot of us nowadays, a lot of people nowadays don't have love. They're very aggressive, they want to start fights, they want to see who's the big man and who's the baddest person. But when we're Christians and when we're walking as believers, none of that matters. What matters is our relationship with God. What matters is how we treat people. And that was one of the commands that Jesus left us is to treat each other the way we want to be treated, to love your neighbor as yourself. And this verse is basically telling us the same thing, let love and faithfulness never leave you. A lot of people have lost love. A lot of people are not faithful to one another and not even just relationship but just in friendship. I can remember people, I've never really had too many friends that stuck around him. I'm okay with that. But I've always heard people say they have had good friends and they've been friends for 10 and 12 years and that's faithfulness. That's seeing about someone, that's caring about someone. And people are just not that way anymore. It's like if you don't check on me, the phone works two ways. Okay, the phone does work two ways. But we must be faithful with people or not. We must be what Jesus says, he's faithful. Now, let's say we are Jesus, I'm not saying that, but we must be have attributes like him. He's faithful. No matter if we're not there, he's there for us. No matter if we don't show love to him, he love us. And that's something that this verse is saying love and faithfulness never leave you. Don't let it leave you. Don't let this world change who you are and what God is trying to create in you. He's trying to create love back in us. He's trying to create faithfulness back in us. And if we say we are believers, that's something that we must wear like it says around our neck. We must write in on a tablet or a heart. That means be real be who God have called you be, forgive. And that brings me to another purpose, cautious three, three, three, 13 to 14. Bear with each other and forgive one another. If any of you has to grieve this against the way to give as a Lord forgive you and all of these virtues put in love, which binds them all together and perfect unity. See, it says bear with each other and love one another. Love one another. It's not enough love in this world. It's not. You can't tell me no different. It's not. And that's what a lot of people need in their life is love because they don't get it maybe from the home they never had it. They don't know what it looked like. So when you are there and you're displaying that love, they're like, wait a minute. What are you doing? Why are you hugging me? Why are you speaking to me? Why are you being cotting me? Because they're not used to it. So we must show them this is what love is. It says, forgive one another. If any of you have grievances against someone, forget that the Lord forgive you. The Lord forgiven us and I can raise my hands in this. God have forgiven me over and over and over again. He never said, no, Lou, I'm not going to forgive you today. No, you messed up. You ran out of this. No, he's forgiving. He's merciful. He's grateful. He's gracious. He loves us every day more and more and more. And like I said, someone's don't have that, but you have that in God and you show that to others. That's why we must let love and faithfulness never leave us. That's why we need to love beyond reasonable doubt. Love beyond the flaws that people give you. Love beyond what someone show you. And that is hard. I'm not going to sit here and lie. That's hard. But that's why you ask God every day. Creating me a clean heart. Show me how to love. Show me how to love when someone doesn't love me. Show me how to be kind with people aren't kind to me. And I've been kind to people some days and they just don't give that back to me. I sit there with my heart and my hand. I want it crying and all this because I give and I don't get back. But that's the point. Sometimes you're not going to get what you give back. God gives to us and he doesn't get it back. We have to learn to love and do our part. That's what we have to do. Let's pray. Heavenly Father, I thank you and thank you for the word today. Father God, show us how to be loving. Show us how to be faithful. Father God, help us to bind it around our neck. Help us to write in a tablet of our heart. Father God, give us favor with man and you, Father God. Father God help our household to burst with new wine and new things and new opportunity. Father God, open the door for us, Father God, that no man can shut. Father God help us to go to work tomorrow. Go to school tomorrow. Go wherever we have to go in love, in love, in love, in love, Father God. Father God, if we don't know how, please show us in Jesus' mighty name. Amen. I'm prophetess Lou.
