**Get scholarships and pay for college without student loans!**

Are you worried about how to pay for college? Stressed because it’s so expensive? Are you having trouble finding scholarships, or all you find don’t apply to you? Overwhelmed with all things school and money?

Welcome fam! This podcast will help you find and get scholarships, avoid student loans and maybe even graduate college debt-free!

Hey! I’m Kara, a Christian entrepreneur, amateur snowboarder, and scholarship BEAST! I figured out how to not only finish college debt-free, but I even had $10k left over in the bank after graduation. (& btw, my parents weren’t able to help me financially either!)

During school, I was worried about paying for next semester. I couldn’t find scholarships that worked specifically for me, and didn’t know how to get started while juggling homework and keeping up with ALL.THE.THINGS.

But dude, I learned there was a better way! With God’s direction, I tested out of classes, and found the perfect scholarships, grants, internships, and weird budget hacks that helped me go from overwhelmed to debt-free with $10k in the bank–all with God on my side.

... and I’m here to walk you through this, too.

If you are ready to find scholarships specific to you, learn to manage your money well, and have enough money to kill it at college, this pod is for you!

So grab your cold brew and TI-89, and listen in on the most stress-free and debt-free class you’ve ever attended: this is Money and Mental Peace.

(upbeat music) Hey girl, welcome to Money and Mental Peace. Do you wanna find scholarships and avoid student loans? You find yourself Googling, easy scholarships, and how to pay for college. You feel overwhelmed with life in general that you can't even think about paying for next semester. Hey, I'm Cara, and in college, I too was worried if I was good at money. I couldn't find scholarships that worked specifically for me, and I didn't know how to get started while juggling homework and all the things. But that changed through prayer and God's direction. I tested out of classes, learned to budget, and found those perfect scholarships, and even had $10,000 left over in the bank after graduation. At BTW, my parents weren't able to help me financially either. If you're ready to find scholarships specific to you, manage your money well, and just stop being broke. Then grab your cold brew and TA89, because class is now in session. Hey guys, so yes, as the title shares, I am actually moving, and I just wanted to let you guys know that's why I just don't have a new episode for you right now, because I have to take time and do that. And it just did not work on the timing, and I will have another one coming out this week, and onward, some of them might be replay episodes of best of episodes that you all loved. And so just giving you a heads up, I'm not forgetting you, 'cause I'm doing this. It's a little sad, moving from my first apartment with roommates, still with the roommates to a new place. But it's a little sad, 'cause I liked that first apartment, and we had a cute balcony, and it aloft. And last October, we had Twilight Marathon, movie nights of sorts, with the sunset streaming in, and it was just, it was so cool. Now we're actually moving to my grandma's house. It was now in a nursing home. That's also sad. I'm going through a lot of location and place grief, to be honest, because my grandma's, you know, the comfort childhood home, you know, that I always saw at my grandma's house is changing, and stuff being taken out of it. And just saying, if you guys are grieving something that's not just like a loss of a friend or a family member, but the loss of like a place or just a dream or a belief or an idea, that's still grief. So don't kick yourself over that. Bring it to God, cry out to him, and talk to some good family and friends about it. But I acknowledge you and your grief. But anyways, so yeah, we are definitely having going from an apartment to a relatively big house, because we're also just going to be caretaking the house as she's in a nursing home. So that is pretty cool. And we are very excited to set up a podcasting room, because my roommates want to start a podcast as well. And we are very excited. I'm also going to need a new microphone, because this one is half broken. Hopefully you can hear me. It's been going for like two and a half years. I think that's pretty good. And maybe even be recording some stuff in our podcast room, like for YouTube. But we'll see, but we're doing lots of moving. Literally this day is the big main furniture move. And we got a lot of stuff to move over. Interestingly, it's pretty close. It's actually just down the street from the apartment from where we lived. So we were joking that we could use like a big wagon and just pull stuff down, or carry it. But no, that's not really going to work. So hang tight, listen on for updates as we move into this house and make a podcast room and keep providing content, right? Good stuff for you guys. Okay, thank you so much for hanging with me. And I'll see you all in upcoming episodes. Bye. (upbeat music) Hey girl, I hope you enjoyed today's episode. If so, would you take 30 seconds and share it with a friend who wants to get scholarships and avoid student loans just like you? Okay, now I'm off to hopefully play some ultimate frisbee. I'll meet you back here in a few days for another episode. Bye. [MUSIC PLAYING]
