Horror Queers

Seed of Chucky (2004) feat. Chris Eggertsen

In celebration of the second week of the Summer of Franchises, Joe, Trace and special guest Chris Eggertsen are headed to Romania…er…”Hollywood” to check out the fifth Chucky film. Chris and Joe gang up on Trace in a heated argument about what constitutes the “Big” horror franchises; they discuss out and proud gay director Don Mancini’s role shepherding the franchise for 30+ years, and why Jennifer Tilly’s autobiography should be called “Gaslighting.” Also on the table: pronunciations of “Redman,” a supersized overview of S Club 7’s history and, naturally, a detailed discussion of the titular “seed”…in all of its various forms. Weekly Game: the boys speculate which celebrity Chucky would murder. Questions? Comments? Snark? Connect with the boys on Twitter using the hashtag #HorrorQueers or join the FB group
