I hate bats. Especially ones who live in caves. I don't mind bats in caves. It's strange noises that put the willies up mid. Oh, Peter. Look, there's a light of a head. It must be Dr. Ooh. Think again, rabbit. Who are you? I'm Captain Penny Primrose from the Jackalope, and I adhere to take you back to Herkamant. Peter, you are my prisoner. How did you know I was here? You were betrayed, Peter. We were given these coordinates and caught here before you. I'm sorry, Captain, but you must surrender. Commander Fumpa. I never believed that you could betray me in this way. I did not betray you, Captain. It was me. [MUSIC PLAYING] These are the adventures of the Starship Jackalope, our continuing mission to explore new garden patches on different worlds, to seek out larger and juicier carrots, to boldly go where no rabbit has gone before. Featuring the voice talents of Alex Gilmore as Captain Peter Rabbit, Bobby Owens as Lieutenant Tanya Ears, David MacGyver as Lieutenant Patty McSacker, Michael Liebman as Dr. Harvey Hopper Smith, and introducing Tom Chalker as Commander Thumper. [MUSIC PLAYING] Today's episode, goodbye farewell. Put your hands in the air, Peter Rabbit, you are under arrest. You're making a terrible mistake. I'm not the enemy, they are. Who are? Not you, then. I do not believe so, Captain. Not you, Commander. Then who are you referring to? It was a metaphorical day. And where do they hang out? Sounds kind of groovy. Who? The metaphorical day? It's not a people, it's a thing. Not quite literal, that's why-- Enough! Peter Rabbit, you're under arrest for theft. An election of duty, accessory to theft, paleo to stop in the direct order. Do not pass go, do not collect 200 carrots. I can't let you take me back. The mimics have taken over Herkama. Sir, please come quietly. I do not wish to hurt you. We can make a run for it, Peter. There's three of us, two of them. Let him go, Jessica. He doesn't want to come with us. He wants to go back to Herkama. Quiet, Fifi. It's true, you said so yourself. You heard him saying he would go back to Herkama. I mean, you are listening at the door. Shush, Fifi. What you say? Shut up. I do not care about your domestic arrangements. My order is to take you back to Herkama and then I aim to do it. Not before I find my honor. Run, Peter. You stupid rabbit, he has escaped. I know. Okay. If I run this line from here and compare it with this line here, then correlate the volume of space available. Ah ha, I got it. D8. You have sunk my battleship. Oh yes. Round one to the tadmeister. Saw with piece of fried gold, kerching. I do not understand the concept of this game. It is simple. Yeah. I'm undefeated. Yes. Simple. Have you anything to report? Aye, Commander. We've managed to decipher the encrypted data, but some of it was pretty damaged. What about our initial thoughts? Was the data conclusive on that? I'm afraid so, Commander. Admiral Jimbob was killed in a transporter accident five years ago. If you view this part here. Is that? Aye, sir. It's a llama. Admiral Jimbob was crossed with a llama they were transporting to Camelson 5. Fusing. Oh, how I do hate uninvited guests. The demands they put on my food and wine, and they never stop to help with the cleaning up. Maybe I need a dishwasher or plates. I haven't got plates. My gosh, what have we been eating off all these years? Maybe he doesn't eat. That'd be good. Very helpful. Huh? Where am I? What happened? I found there with questions, dear boy. You're in the mamas. Mamas. Moveable? Analogical machine. It's simple. How did I get here? The last thing I remember was a rock fall. Yes. Nearly damaged the old girl. I've had quite a time of it trying to cheer her up. Between me and you, it's hard to take a space-time module into a French café without getting a few strange looks from the locals. How did I get in here? Through the door, of course. If you don't mind me saying you're not the brightest spark I've had in here. But at least you don't have a fluctuating accent. Had companions like that before can be a bit grating after a season or two? Do you eat? I... I can't. I need to find someone who can help me. I think you're going to have a long search. No. A doctor. I'm looking for a doctor. Anyone in particular? My brother is a surgeon and part-time taxidermist. Ooh. Yep. That's the guy. Although he likes to be called by his first name to avoid confusion. What? That's him. Who? Yes. Who? Yes. I don't have time for this. There's always time for this. I have to get out of here. I need to find Dr. Ooh. And why do you need to find that crackpot? Because he's the only one who can help me stop the mimics and free hair command of their influence. Mimics, eh? Well, why didn't you say? Let's get started then. I don't think I can ever forgive you for this, Fifi. That's fine. I don't want your forgiveness. What has gotten into you recently? Ever since we met Peter, you've been different. I've been different. I preferred it when it was just us. It still is. No, it isn't. I've seen the way you are with him. You don't have time for me anymore. That's not true, isn't it? You haven't talked about anything but him since you met him again. Where was our next job? Have you even planned it yet? Fifi. I... Exactly. Too busy taking Peter to meet the dog father. Too busy taking him to find Dr. Ooh. Well, do I fit in all of this? Fifi, stop it. You don't understand. Peter and me, we go way back, a long way back. I owe him. I... I know there's no future for us. He loves someone else, someone in here command. But that doesn't mean I stop caring about him. I may be emotional, but I'm not blind or stupid. I'm so ages. You should be. Was it worth it? You betrayed us, Fifi. And now we're locked up and all in celled together. I didn't think it would end like this. At least, on the plus side. What? We're locked up together. We have. Feeling comfortable, ladies? What do you think? You have a visitor. Security Chief, I need to examine the prisoners. Make sure they're fit for transfer to the Hair Command Security Force at Space Station Leeper. I leave your regular doctor. Deactivate the field. But feel free to stand guard. Very well, doctor. I don't trust that little one. Charming. Don't move, prisoners. Try anything and I'll stun you. I bring a message from Commander Thumper. What message? Commander Thumper has uncovered a plot right here on the Jackalope. Memics are manipulating Captain Primrose. So Peter was right all along? If it appears so, Commander Thumper is going to try to talk to the Captain. Make her see sense. If he fails, then he wants you to take Captain Primrose hostage. That's original. I've hidden the many poles in your tail. It will disrupt the electronics. Here's me thinking you were just being friendly, doctor. Get a move on, Fifi. Your turn. Don't even think about going near my tail. I wouldn't dream of it. I know you have a two-pulse phase modulator hidden inside your full seal. I'm running you now. If anybody gets seriously hurt, I won't be happy. And the deal is off. Just as I thought, both fit enough to stay in trial. Wait, ever say no. Watch that little one, doctor. She has shifty eyes and I don't trust her. That left deer is too straight. I'm sure it's just a trick of the light. Enter. Commander Thumper. Commander Thumper, what is the meaning of this interruption? Apologies, Captain. But some disturbing information has come to light. Is it about Peter? What has he done now? It is not Peter Rabbit we should be focusing on, but another more senior member of Hair Command, Captain. What are you talking about? If you will permit me, Captain, I will let Robot Delta explain it. I'm trying my patience, Commander. In an effort to revive Robot Alpha, Robot Omega had to acquire some replacement power parts from Goggle. Goggle? For all your needs. If Goggle can't find it, then it was all a dream. Sorry to interrupt your sales pitch, but I have a starship to run. One of the parts we ordered was a replacement memory core. The memory core of a former starship maintenance robot. It normally retails that. Get on with it. The memory core belonged to Robot 07824 last assigned to the starship parsnip. The parsnip? That was a vessel assigned to Admiral Jimbob before he became permanently assigned to Air Command, five years ago. Indeed. It's still contained information. Which is actually against Goggle rules and regulations as all Goggle sellers agreed that their products have been wiped and tested for known viruses. Omega, please play the information we retrieved. Acknowledge, Commander. This is a message to the robot's mis-robot. The starship parsnip has been attacked by communications and engines have been disabled. The group is calling itself mimics and has taken control of my vessel for what purpose I do not know. I'm attempting an emergency transport with a pack migrating llamas onto a nearby moon capable of sustaining a life. Wish me luck, my metal friend. It appears that Peter Rabbit is telling the truth. Admiral Jimbob died in a transporter accident five years ago. Do you know what I think, Commander? I think that this is an elaborate plan to deceive me. You and your robot friends have forged this transmission in an attempt to divert attention away from your friend. Well, I am here to tell you now, Commander. It will not work. Consider yourself relieved of duty until further notice. It is clear you cannot be trusted to not let your personal feelings get in the way dismissed. Good, Captain. Looks like Plan B. Commander Thumper to Doctor Smith, Plan B is a go. So you need my help with these mimics? Let's go through what we know. One, gelatin life, four, two, wobbly, three, shapeshifter, four, changes its state, five, eats cheese. Do they eat cheese? I'm not sure. Okay, we'll forget about that for now then. So what we need is something that will attack the first two, uh, four things that we know about. They're jello and imidite. Exactly. Right. We have a shape-shifting jelly for experimentation. Jelly or jello? Don't start. You know what I mean. Where are we going to get a mimic from? I thought you said they've infiltrated hair command. Yes, but we can't just walk in there and get one with testing. I thought you'd do anything. Wait. I know where we can find one. Maintain current speed and heading, Mr. McSacker. Aye, aye, Lieutenant Commander. Thank you, Lieutenant. So now that you've been given this field promotion, does that make you my boss? For the moment. But it won't make a major difference in the two days before we reach space station leaper. That's good, because it could have made things a bit awkward. What do you mean? Nothing. Ignore me. Lieutenant, that's an order. With the Lieutenant Commander's permission, I would have asked her out to dinner upon a return to the station. We shall see, Lieutenant. Eyes forward. Yes, Commander. Nobody move. I'm taking over. Dr. Smith, security chief. What's going on? It appears we're being used as hostages. I told you there was something funny about her. Call the captain to the bridge. Seal all bridge access, or the old rabbit gets. Oh, it's respectful as well as sneaky. Captain Primrose, to the bridge. What do you hope to achieve? We will not be taking prison now. Take us to our bikes, now Hamish. Are you the fan and to me? What is going on here? The hostile takeover, Captain Primrose. Remesh. I will not tolerate this kind of behavior on my ship. If you want, Captain, we have hostages. Don't look at it, then. Like that, Remesh. Do what you want, Lieutenant. You are not having my ship. Captain, these are our friends. Your friends, not mine. I have no loyalty to them. I'm just my duty as Captain and this vessel. Hey. Wait a minute. I'm sorry, Doctor. The lateral damage and defense of the hair command property is a worthy notion. He's a doctor. Not a bargaining chip. I was a security chief. Not I'm banking enough to be a chip. Just where does the Hamish thing come from? Seriously. I don't get it. Daddy. Focus. Oh yeah. Right. Sorry. I'm warning you, Captain. Do as we say, one of these hairs will get split. Enough of this. I am not playing games anymore. I don't believe you just did that. Dare I ask where you got this piece of mimic from? Let's just say I know a crow with influence. Okay, now. If I'm right, in its current form, the mimic is still able to alter its state, touch it. It's my paw. Yes, that's exactly right. What we need to do now is find a way to revert it back. Salt? Interesting idea, but how would you get close enough to throw it? Yes, that's a point. What we need is to find some way of disrupting them from the distance. Sound waves? Look. Who's the inventor genius here? Me or you? Sound waves next to you'll be telling me it talks and walks too. Sorry. Just trying to help. That's it. Frequency modulation, a high enough sound wave will cause the jello to wobble and lose its capacity to alter its state into solidified matter. Will it work? Worth a go. Pass me those headphones. She's only stunned, but she'll be out cold for hours. And I'll do the same to anyone else who tries anything funny. Now, now just calm down little lady. Who's in charge here? That'll be Tonya. Thanks for that. Are you willing to follow my instructions? What do you hope to achieve? You can just take your ship and leave. Why have us returned to Overbite? We have our reasons. Now change course. Mr. McZacker, change course for Overbite. Full speed. Command. Portally then. Both speeds. That's a good little hinge. You don't seem to be making much progress. It's rickling, but isn't losing its molecular consistency. Maybe we need to increase the intensity or amen equalization. More treble, less bass? No. That's exactly the opposite. We've been approaching this all wrong. Instead of trying to shatter the bonds, we need to shake them loose. Turn the bass up to 11. It's working. And there you have it. A paw, no more. Now Jell-O. Now we start the fight back. Take me to the jack-lope. Please. Take me to the jack-lope. Please. Sorry. Please take me to the jack-lope for revenge and the fight back against the mimic incursion into air command. That's better. Just because you're about to go into battle doesn't mean you can forget about your manners. Our plan is nearly at an end. The president is due to take part in a peace conference in four hours time. When Mimic 026 takes his place, we will ensure it ends in war. Better good. Then in the aftermath, when everyone is on their knees, we will take over. Brawlers of the galaxy! Commander Thumper to the Bridge, please respond. Answer him. Bridge here, Commander. Our course has changed. Is there a problem? Tell him to come to the bridge. We have an issue that requires your input. Please report to the bridge. I'm on my way. Thumper out. What do you need Commander Thumper for? Oh, just wait and see my little doctor friend. Are we there yet? This is a vessel capable of travel through the deepest regions of space and the infinite recesses of time. So how long would it take us? About two minutes. Why so long? Because keeping her under sixty conserves fuel. Is that okay? I suppose so. I don't know what you're doing. You're a wanted man. They're not going to let you walk straight into heck man when your home planet is unread alert. I'm not planning to walk it. I intend to fly it. Welcome aboard, Captain. Nice to see you again, Commander Thumper. I see you've been on a diet. Suit you. Yes. Being on the run will do that to her head. Everything has been prepared for you, Captain. The bridge crew has been briefed and fully understand the evidence we have clears your name. And what about Captain Primrose? Unfortunately, she couldn't be convinced. So we took over the ship. Thank you. Thank you, T-Wole. I feel honored to have such dedicated shipmates, but I can also call present. You're welcome, sir. Not interrupt this tender moment, but, you know, we do have this anti-nimic thing that you may want to roll out onto your computer systems before we reach the fleet. Yeah, I'm with this guy. Robot Delta, will you and Robot Omega accompany this gentleman to engineering and begin to make the modifications necessary? Comin' us! Robot Omega has a wide variety of tools at his disposal. I can't believe that they framed you in that way, Captain. They were obviously scary. Sorry if I roughed you up a bit, Chief. But I had to make the takeover look convincing. I quite enjoyed it, actually. Maintain course, sir. Yes, Mr. McSacker. It's nearly time for your speech, Mr. President. I know, Admiral. You ever think back to when we were growing up, when we were at war with Olympus, just starting out in our exploration of the galaxy? Our antiquated steam-powered starships before our scientists had discovered the power. Quadmithium and diplomacy was something we learned about the hard way. Certainly has changed. This peace conference could set in place safeguards that protect the future of the sector. Limpets, scrolls, bungles, and fishy bits. Imagine the prosperity, the trade opportunities, and the security that all our future generations could enjoy. Yes, Mr. President. I'm glad that I have a close friend like you who is sharing this moment. We've seen the past. Now let's get ready to see the future. To the new future, Mr. President. Jessica, I just want to let you know, I appreciate everything you've done for me recently. It's no trouble, Peter. If it wasn't for you, we would have been arrested for the liberation of a crying clown. You know what I am fond of you. Yes, Peter. I'm fond of you too. But I'm in love with someone, back at Heckman. This is why I'm doing this, to protect them and us. I understand, I've always known. I was listening in when you were talking to the dogfather. As you'll ship Jessica, both you and Phoebe are free to go, go as far away as possible. We want to help. We want to stay and help you fight. Overbite is my home too. I want you and Phoebe to go. The mimics aren't stupid. They'll have a fleet of ships under their control before we reach overbite. Exactly. You'll need all the help you can get. If we don't make it, if we fail to get through, I need you to tell the tale. Spread the word. Even if we fail, the mimics must be defeated. I don't like it when you talk like everything is going to end badly. It's just the way I am. Guess this is going to be the second time I've said goodbye to you from the straddle bay. I'll get Phoebe and we'll be gone in 30 minutes. Captain Rabbit, to engineering. You're needed in engineering. I'm on my way. Okay, Peter, my young fellow, my lad. I've installed this modification with the help of this young and deftly attractive tin machine here. Oh, stop. You don't mean that. But will it work? We won't know until we get close enough to a mimic to try it, but the modifications have been built into the communication systems and can be controlled from your bridge. Excellent. Thank you very much for all your help. Don't mention it. I've seen the future, the what should be and the what will be. Be proud of this day, Commodore Rabbit, Captain, President, sorry, Peter. Be proud, Peter. He's a nice man. I like him. Can he stay? I would like to, dear lady, but my time here is at an end. I have places to see, people to go and things to visit. But before I go, Peter, you may need this. What is it? 40 minutes until we reach over Bike Commander. Go to Yellow Alert. What do you think's going to happen? They'll be waiting for us with open arms. Thank us for exposing the incursion and give us all a long, all expenses paid expensive vacation. That'll be nice. My aunt Gertrude wants to go to the seaside. She likes sea fishing. Once she got a trout that was twice the size of her left ear. I believe Lieutenant Commander Ears was having a joke. Alright, I see. That bad, eh? We've been up against impossible odds before. Captain Rabbit has a plan. We will have to have Faith and him and each other. Ah, that's true. If this ends badly though, I'll only have one regret. What's that, Lieutenant? I never asked you out for dinner sooner, Miss Ears. We are being hailed by the Starship, Totochten. On screen. What's up, Captain? Look, Totochten will not let us pass. As soon as I informed them that Captain Primrose was unavailable, they opened fire on us. They opened fire on us, and they opened fire on us. They opened fire on us. They opened fire on us. They opened fire on us. They opened fire on us. They opened fire on us. They opened fire on us. They opened fire on us. They opened fire on us. They opened fire on us. They opened fire on us. They opened fire on us. They opened fire on us. They opened fire on us. They opened fire on us. They opened fire on us. They opened fire on us. They opened fire on us. They opened fire on us. They opened fire on us. They opened fire on us. They opened fire on us. They opened fire on us. They opened fire on us. Go ahead. The tortellian has other ideas. Why are you on my bridge? You are confined to quarters. We'll deal with this later. Lieutenant Commander Ears, hail the tortellian, tell them who's Captain Primrose. Hail's still going unanswered, Captain. Your orders, Captain Primrose. Suggestions. Cylenda? Not an option. Retreat? Not an option. About their rules, amendments to the communications array that will destabilize the minute shape-changing ability? Your call, Captain. There are no mimics in air command. Then you have nothing to lose. Then do it. Do what he says. Then when it fails, transmit or surrender. Visualizing Soundwave, and sending now. It's gone quiet. What do you think's happening? We are being hailed. It is a message from the Tatochen. Your Captain has just knelt it into a puddle of jello. They are requesting assistance. Well. Tell them that we will send over security personnel to assist. I, Captain. Well, it seems I owe you an apology, Peter. And to you, Commander, I hope that you can forgive me. I was only doing my duty but I believed her command required of me. And that's the difference between you and the Captain, Captain. Do you wish us to remain on course to overbite Captain? There's a peace conference taking place. Hundreds of delegates from all over the galaxy. It was my job to make sure that you didn't get away, Peter, that you were captured before you could disrupt it. There is only one reason for that. Because that's where the mimics are planning to strike. I already followed the first one by releasing Dr. Hop. So this is a plan be there. If something happened at the peace conference, then the galaxy would erupt into violence. And I'd be the scapegoat. Mr. Mokzakar is at the course for the moon of Pooh. The president of overbite will be giving his address in the next 15 minutes. Wish me luck, Admiral. Good luck, Mr. President. President is in position. Bomb is primed. We will detonate as soon as he reaches the code board. Excellent work. Everything is proceeding just as it should be. Our operatives have withdrawn until after detonation. We will then begin to spread the dissent. Very well, I will withdraw. What is the matter, Admiral? Why are we leaving so soon? I, um, uh, Captain Perbros, what are you doing here? I have done what you asked. I tracked down Peter Rabbits, and went back to Herc Manz and brought him here. Here? You brought him here? Why did you do that? Because that's where you are. I would have thought you would like the glory of bringing him in yourself. You stupid- Yeah. You could ruin everything. Look, there he is now. I hope you did not mind the intuitive present speech, but you are all in craft danger. A moonstooth is a living spa, looking to shout out a piece of stuff. I, uh, I have to go and get the security team. There is no need, Admiral. We brought our own name here. Is this what you're looking for, Commander? It was underneath the Admiral's chair. Looks a bit like a bomb. Ha, ha, ha, ha, it's not a bomb. It's my alarm clock. I mean, because I have, uh, a dentist's appointment. I'm a scientist, but in my game base, it may be sound quite hard. It may be in a contract, it won't disrupt the moods ability to maintain their shape, like so. No! Stop it. I wonder- I wonder you to stop. You can't do this to me. Stop and wait for your war to be. No. No. Stop it. I wonder- I wonder you to stop. You can't do this to me. Stop and wait for your war to be. Security. Take him into custody. You fools. I may have been exposed, but I still have this bomb ready to detonate. As the luckiest of bunnies. Sorry. I forgot to mention I disarmed it. Go away! Ah, I'm spoiling again. Cookin', chief. Sir, I'm not sure if it's going to work. Any suggestions? If the power invested in me is the president of Overbite and Commander of Hair Command, I present to you the crew of the Starship Jackalope, Freedom of Overbite. This is a reward for your bravery in tackling the mimic incursion, the course of your duty as officers and servicemen of Hair Command. Thank you, Mr. President. Thank you, Mr. President. It's very much appreciated. Very grateful, Mr. President. I present you with a medal of honor for bravery and protection of your President. Thank you, Mr. President. I accept with honor, Mr. President. Receiving this award is an honor, Mr. President. And for you, Peter Rabbit, you're pardoned. Your rank of Captain will be restored, and you'll be restored to your rightful place as Captain of the Jackalope. Thank you, Mr. President. I'm very proud of you, Peter. You saved us all. I didn't do it on my own. Now let's go get some dinner. I'm feeling a bit hungry. I think that's an excellent idea, Peter.
