in this book. But these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name. Therefore, many of these signs, and these signs is the noun Simeon, and Simeon is an event which is regarding having some special meaning, Sime. Signs are certainly important then, but these are authenticating miracles. These signs are, these are, yes, authoritarian, authenticating miracles. What it was, was to bring attention to the message. We have the message. The message has already been authenticated. When someone comes to town with these, or comes to town, or comes within our hearing, with signs and wonders, and how they have this, you know, and looking to authenticate their own message. The question is, does it bring our attention to the word of God? And matter of fact, it's the word of God's already been authenticated back then. So when somebody's bringing signs and wonders, be very careful. Because remember, the empty Christ is going to come, and he's going to have his own signs and wonders. And he's going to be very persuasive. And scripture tells us that if it was possible, even the elect will be deceived. But those who are equipped with the word of God, those who are in this word, and they understand, and they could properly discern, and they could see past the, let's say, charlatents. So Jesus began his, well, Jesus in his resurrection, was going around with the 11, with his 11 disciples. Do you remember Judas was the 12th? He's no longer there. Later on, they're going to pick up Matthias after Jesus is gone, after he, as Mr. Jesus has ascended. But is this important time? This is, this is not only establishing his authority, which is really already established. Jesus said all authority has been established. But he is also preparing his 11. He's already commissioned them. And people are going to have to recognize they're going to have to be able to recognize these authenticating signs. What they're still going to do, they're going to pass on to to their, well, the same message along with the authenticating signs are going to be passed on to the 11, as they're going to carry out the, the ongoing ministry of Jesus on this earth. So when they see these signs performed by his disciples, then they are going to recognize that they are his, they have seen him, seen them with Jesus, and they're going to respond accordingly. Therefore many other signs, Samayan, and this is again a testing miracles. Jesus also performed in the presence of his disciples. The disciples here, as Matthias, people who followed Jesus and listened to his teaching. This is not, these disciples right here are not, are not limited to the 11, the 11, the, these apostles, those are being ready to send out, they're still disciples. They can be disciples and apostles at the same time. They can be learners, but Jesus was appearing to many. He appeared to many in his resurrected body. And they were, repenting, they were coming back to him, they were becoming his disciples, maybe, maybe for the second time, maybe for the third, fourth time, you know, maybe, you know, those people that come back and forth and what have you, but they have returned as disciples.
